Kayabuki No Sato Thatched Village
Once you've arrived, meet your local guide who will take you around the iconic village. Stroll among the rural village while explanations about the unique thatched houses are given. Feel free to ask any questions about the village as you head to the next destination.
Miyama Folk Museum
Originally built in the 19th century, this farmhouse was once a private residence. The original building was destroyed by fire in 2000, and the current museum is a reconstruction. Inside, traditional rooms and tools recreate daily life in a thatched-roof farmhouse and introduce the local lifestyle.
