*The first float is scheduled to arrive around 10:30 AM. Please arrive at the reception at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time of the first float.
On July 17th, a procession of 23 floats takes place, led by the Naginata Hoko. Highlights include the powerful "Tsujimawashi," where massive floats dynamically turn at intersections, enchanting Gion-bayashi music, and dazzling decorative textiles.
