A current flight attendant introduced the training session while sharing some behind-the-scenes stories. Depending on the timing, it was also possible to see the actual training up close, which was wonderful. However, I can't help but feel disappointed by an incident that marred the experience.
Although I don't know the exact relationship, it seemed that two individuals, likely important guests or stakeholders, were being welcomed by staff members who appeared to be in higher positions. While this kind of general response from the company is perfectly fine, the problem was that their conversation was excessively loud. The staff wasn't speaking in a loud voice, but they continued their conversation in a location that obstructed passage without any reprimand. Other participants also mentioned to their companions that it was "too noisy," so I doubt I'm the only one who felt dissatisfied. I strongly hope for reflection and improvement in this area.
現役CAさんがちょっとした裏話を交えつつ訓練の様子を紹介してくれます。
タイミング次第ですが実際の訓練を間近で見ることもでき、素晴らしい内容でした。
しかしながら、それらを台無しにするような出来事が残念でなりません。
関係性は分かりませんが、関係者か上客と思われる2名に対して役職者と思われるスタッフがお出迎え対応をしていました。
ここまで会社としては一般的対応でもちろんかまわないのですが、問題はその会話があまりにうるさいこと。
スタッフ側は大声ではないのですが、咎めることもなく、しかも通行に妨げになる場所で会話を延々続けていました。
他の参加者も同行者に「うるさかった」と漏らしていましたので、不満があるのは私だけではないでしょう。
この部分だけは反省と改善を強く望みます。

I was impressed by the ingenuity and efforts of the airline, which has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since an active flight attendant served as our guide, I thought it was remarkable how well they observed the participants and provided thoughtful care without any excess.
My son has a disability, but they handled the situation very smartly by not being overly nervous while appropriately checking on his condition and confirming whether he needed support.
They also engaged in a lot of casual conversation with the participants, which left a very friendly and approachable impression.
The facility was accessible for those with wheelchairs or strollers, and it’s not far from the nearest Anamori Inari Station, so I recommend it to those who may be concerned.
It was also lucky that it was the first day of merchandise sales. I hear that the lineup will increase in the future, so there’s excitement in getting rare items.
Although it was a tour of the training center, I had expected to see training equipment and observe training in action up close, or perhaps even experience something like a simulated training session, but of course, that was not the case, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied.
I hope that in the future, there will be opportunities to watch or experience demonstrations of training.
コロナ禍で打撃を受けた航空会社の鋭意工夫、努力が随所に伺えて感銘を受けました。
現役のCAさんがガイドを務めてくださってるだけあって、参加者のことをよく観察し、過不足なく気遣ってくださることは流石だと思いました。
同伴した息子には障害があるのですが、過度に神経質になるでもなく、でも適切にコンディションをヒアリングし、サポートの必要の有無を確認するあたりがとてもスマートな対応でした。
参加者との雑談もたくさんしてくださり、とても、気さくで親しみやすいのも好印象でした。
車椅子やバギーでも見学できる施設でしたので(最寄りの穴守稲荷駅からもさほど遠くない)心配されている方にもオススメです。
ちょうどグッズの販売が始まった初日で、それもラッキーでした。
今後さらにラインナップが増えるとのことで、レアアイテムゲットの楽しみもありますよ。
訓練センターの見学ではありますが、実際に訓練機器や訓練してる様子を間近で見学できるわけではないし、模擬訓練みたいなものを体験できるかな、と期待してたのですが、そんなものはもちろんなく
その点でちょっと物足りなさを感じました。
今後はデモンストレーション用の訓練を見たり体験できるようになるといいなぁ、と思います。

The ANA Blue Base tour was amazing. This time, I was only able to observe the training of Mr. C A, so next time I would like to see the training of other professions as well. If possible, I would like to watch training footage from the flight simulator.

今回は、C Aさんの訓練のみ見学が出来たので、次回は他の職種の方の訓練も見学してみたい。
もし、可能であればフライトシミュレーターでの訓練映像を視聴したい。
A current flight attendant guided us and shared detailed information that we usually overlook. They also researched and answered various questions thoroughly and politely. It was a tour that aviation enthusiasts would absolutely love.
現役のCAさんが案内をしてくれ、普段気が付かない細かな情報を教えてもらいました。また、どのような質問にも、色々と調べていただき丁寧に答えていただきました。
飛行機マニアにはたまらないツアーでした。
We had a wonderful introduction to the Golden Gai and tried food items we would have never thought to...our guide was interesting and fun...she shared the history of the area, interesting details of life in Tokyo, and took us to cool places we would have been too intimidated to go into on our own. I HIGHLY recommend booking a tour!
I only knew Harajuku for the gothic-lolita kawaii fashion so it was very interesting to see the back alleys and food places I normally don't see in guidebooks. We got to sample a lot of regional specialities and lots of desserts (my favorite!) Our friendly guide was super knowledgeable and was flexible to cater to our entire group. But be prepared to swim through the crowd and possibly wait on lines for some of the treats.
Our guide Asami did a great job taking us to places with great eats! She made sure to give us background info about the places we were visiting and even explained Japanese customs and table manners. She also accommodated personal requests (getting specific souvenirs, etc.) which made the tour feel more intimate.
I did expect this tour to feature more Instagrammable food, but it wasn't so much the case. Nonetheless, everything we ate was good. I especially loved the sesame ice cream!
We had a highly enjoyable experience on the evening food tour Golden Gai Shinjuku. Our guide Norma was excellent. She chose some great food destinations and was very helpful in explaining Japanese food etiquette and culture. In between eating, Norma guided us around Shinjuku, which is a must see destination if you come to Tokyo. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a great download on the activities and history of the Shinjuku area. Towards, the end of the tour we went to the Golden Gai area, which is quite fascinating for tourists.
We dont write alot of reviews, but would highly recommend this tour, and in particular, we felt quite fortunate that our guide was Norma, as she was really very committed to ensuring that the group was enjoying both the tour and the food experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour with Ryo. It is worth doing this tour because we learned about food from different parts of Japan and we went to small restaurants that serve amazing food that wouldn't know otherwise. Ryo was knowledgeable, polite, easy going and fu to be with. We really like him and the tour. Highly recommended, don't miss it!
