We were able to have a wonderful time as a family of four. All the staff members were cheerful, kind, and provided us with a pleasant experience.

家族4人で、楽しい時間を過ごす事が出来ました。従業員の方々は皆さん明るく、親切で心地よいひと時を頂くことが出来ました。

During my stay in Tokyo, I had some free time during the day, so I decided to try the daytime shared boat service. I completed the boarding procedure at the boat house, received my ticket, and boarded from the riverbank across the road.

Before entering the boat, we had to remove our shoes, and there was a reserved name tag on the table, so we took our seats there.

The chairs and tables were comfortable, which was great for reducing strain on my legs. The table was set with sashimi and dishes according to the course I reserved, along with bottled beer, and we started eating and drinking as soon as we set sail.

Drinks were all-you-can-drink, and the staff would bring them right away if you requested them. Onboard, the hostess explained the Rainbow Bridge and the buildings and bridges along the river using a microphone.

They also served freshly fried tempura throughout the trip, allowing us to enjoy crispy, hot tempura while cruising.

Since we couldn't see the cherry blossoms, we docked at Odaiba, where we got off to take commemorative photos before heading upstream toward the Tokyo Skytree.

After the tempura service ended, we enjoyed freshly cooked clam rice and miso soup, followed by a sweet dessert.

There was one restroom located at the front of the boat for use. I would love to experience the evening cruise if I get the chance.

東京滞在中の昼間に時間がある旅程だったので、こちらの昼の乗合船を利用してみました。
船宿で乗船手続きをしてチケットもらって、道路を渡った川岸からの乗船です。
履物は船内に入る前に脱いで、テーブルに予約者名が書かれた札が置いてあるのでそこに着席です。

椅子とテーブルなので、脚の負担も少なくて良かったです。
テーブルには予約したコースごとのお造りや料理、瓶ビールが準備されており、出航と同時に飲食が開始されます。

ドリンクは飲み放題で、スタッフの人にリクエストすると直ぐに持ってきてもらえます。
船中では女将さんがマイク片手にレインボーブリッジや川沿いの建物や橋の説明をしてくれます。

また揚げたての天ぷらをその都度提供してくれるので、サクサクのアツアツな天ぷらを食べながら遊覧できます。

桜が見れなかったので、お台場で停泊して外に出て記念撮影したりした後に、スカイツリー方面へと上流へ上っていきます。

天ぷらの提供が終わると炊き立てのアサリ飯と味噌汁、最後に甘味デザートをいただきました。

トイレは前方に一か所あるので利用できます。
機会があれば夜の部も体験したいと思いました。

This was my second time here with my son and my friend from Japan joined for her first time and we all loved it. We had an English speaking instructor who was very helpful and showed us step-by-step what we needed to do to make our design how we wanted it. We practiced on a separate glass and that was so helpful to improve our technique. The instructor gave us additional tips along the way. It's so nice to take home such a unique product from our time spent in Japan.

We were really glad to see various bridges, even though we were born and raised in Tokyo. It was thrilling to be able to see the bridge we passed by every day during our student days from below.

東京生まれで東京育ちの私たちでも色々な橋を見れて良かったです。
学生時代に毎日通った橋を下から見ることが出来て、大興奮でした。

I had heard that the staff would be kind and helpful based on reviews, but I was worried that with so many people, there might not be enough time to work at the stations. However, in reality, there was one instructor for every six students, and each student had their own workstation. The instruction was thorough and attentive, and there was plenty of time to work. It was more challenging than I expected, but after practicing, I was able to decide on a design that suited my skill level, and I think I ended up with something really good.

口コミで親切に教えてもらえるとありましたが、人が多く作業台も人と使うとゆっくり作業する時間ないかも…と心配してました。
実際は先生1人に生徒6人で1人一台ずつ作業台があり、しっかり丁寧に教えてもらえて作業時間もたっぷりありました。
思ったより難しかったですが、練習した後にデザインを決めれたので、実力に見合った柄を選べて良いものが出来たと思います。

I used this for my mother's birthday celebration! The cake and the food were delicious 🤤 The night view from the boat was amazing, and it was a wonderful day.

I participated with a total of five friends, including both American and Japanese friends. It was everyone's first time, but we enjoyed choosing glasses, selecting designs, and the entire experience. Even if we made mistakes, the unique flavors of handmade items created great memories. Everyone was incredibly focused, so time flew by!

アメリカ人の友達と日本人の友達、合計5人で参加しました。全員初めてでしたが、グラス選び、デザイン選び、体験まで楽しむことができました。失敗しても手作りならではの味が出て良い思い出。全員ものすごく集中していたので、時間が経つのがあっという間でした！

I was able to practice thoroughly and immerse myself with peace of mind.

It was challenging, but I was able to focus and enjoy the experience, so I would like to try a different design next time.

My first experience with Edo Kiriko was challenging but fun. They let you practice, so you don't have to carve directly onto the glass without any preparation, which makes it manageable. I was a bit shocked to find out that colored glasses come with an additional fee; it might have been mentioned somewhere, though.

初めての江戸切子体験、難しいですが楽しかったです　練習もさせて下さるし、ぶっつけ本番でグラスに彫るわけではないのでなんとかなります　色付きのグラスは追加料金がかかるというのはちょっとショックでした　どこかに書いてあったのかもしれないけど。

It was my first time on a yakatabune (a traditional Japanese houseboat). The boat was spacious and stable, making it a very enjoyable experience. The food was delicious! The tempura was crispy, and the clam rice was incredibly tasty! The landlady provided very pleasant service, and the young, handsome man was also very hardworking and offered great service. I was amazed by the scenery from the boat and the starry sky. I didn't know Tokyo had such a beautiful starry sky!

人生初の屋形船。船はゆったり座れて揺れもなくとても楽しかったです。食事もおいしかった！！天麩羅サクサクだしあさりご飯もめっちゃ美味しかった！！女将さんもとても気持ちの良い接客でしたし、めっちゃイケメンの若い男性の方もとても働き者で気持ち良い接客でした。
船の上に上がって見る景色にも星空にも驚きました。東京にもあんな星空があるんですね！

My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful time at the workshop! We enjoyed every minute of it and are delighted to have a great souvenir to take home with us.

We enjoyed every minute of this workshop! The teacher was very informative and gave everyone personal attention, making suggestions and only too happy for us to continue practicing if we weren't confident of going onto our personal glass. At the end, she glamour shot our glasses, showing them off beautifully. We will definitely be back to try a harder design. Highly recommended!

My first experience on a daytime yakatabune (boat) was wonderful, with great weather and an amazing view. The freshly fried tempura and clam rice were also very delicious. Above all, I learned a lot from the stories about the origins of the bridge names and the exterior of the Asahi Group headquarters building. Based on the knowledge I gained, I look forward to enjoying the night scenery next time.

初めてのお昼の屋形船体験は
お天気がよくて眺めが最高でした。
揚げたての天ぷらやあさりの炊き込みご飯もとても美味しかったです。
なにより、橋の名前の由来やアサヒグループ本社ビルの外観の由来など、たくさんのお話が聞けて学びになりました。
教えていただいた知識を基に今度は夜の景色も楽しみたいと思います。

I wanted to try making food samples, but I hesitated because I wasn't sure what to do with them after making things like tempura and lettuce. However, I really needed a smartphone stand, so that was perfect!

I’ve always enjoyed making things, so I had a lot of fun working on it quietly. 😊

食品サンプルを作ってみたかったけど、天ぷらやレタスは作ってもその後どうするか悩んでなかなか踏み出せなかったけれど、スマホスタンドは使用できるものでちょうど欲しいものでした！

I used this place for my family's birthday celebration. It was my first time visiting, as I had always wanted to try it. I was truly impressed by the delicious food, the wonderful atmosphere, and the warmth of the staff.

There was a little hiccup, but they prepared a surprise birthday cake for us, and we had a fantastic birthday party. Thank you very much!

The fourth and first graders experienced it. At first, I was worried about how it would turn out, but the staff taught them patiently without rushing, and they were able to complete their works on their own. The finished products turned out even better than I imagined. Although there were some mistakes, they turned out beautifully, and I was very satisfied.

四年生と一年生の子供が体験しました。最初はどうなってしまうかなと心配していましたが、スタッフの方が焦らさずにしっかり教えてくださり、自分たちでちゃんと作品を仕上げることができました。出来上がりも想像以上によく、失敗してしまった箇所もありましたが素敵に出来上がり大満足でした。

Yoshie-san is talented and impressive as an artist, and manages to make something she’s dedicated so much time to accessible to even first-timers!

The staff are kind and teach you patiently. First, you loosen the straight ramen noodles and place them on a plate, then pour the soup over them, and finally add the toppings in your preferred layout. The finished product is very satisfying. I highly recommend it.

お店の方が優しく丁寧に教えてくださいます。
最初はまっすぐなラーメンの麺をほぐしながらお皿に乗せて、スープをかけて、好きなレイアウトで具材を乗せるという手順です。
満足度の高い完成品になりました。
おすすめです。

The instructor was very kind, and although the design was difficult, I was able to complete it with their advice! I'm happy to have made a glass that I'm satisfied with. I will cherish it from now on (^^).

The hospitality, the food, and the guide were all absolutely wonderful! It turned into a really exciting event⭐︎ The staff's stories and the guide to the streets of Tokyo were fantastic and very educational, and the freshly fried tempura and other dishes were delicious! The all-you-can-drink service was prompt, and the service was attentive in every aspect! I definitely want to highly recommend this to everyone around me!

I thought the boat would sway, but it didn't at all. The night view from the boat was beautiful, and I enjoyed seeing the various bridges, each unique in its own way. The photos I took with the night view as a backdrop became great mementos. The freshly fried tempura and sashimi were delicious, making for a very enjoyable time.

船ということで揺れるのかと思いましたが、全然そんなことはありませんでした。船から見える夜景が綺麗で、何本も架かってる橋も、それぞれに違って楽しく見ることができました。
停留した時に夜景をバッグに撮った写真も記念になりました。
揚げたての天ぷらやお刺身などのお料理も美味しくて、とても楽しい時間でした。

I was taught very carefully, and I was able to create a glass that I’m satisfied with. It's great that I can take it home on the same day! I'm already enjoying some delicious sake.

My 4 year old and I had a great time making our cupcake and tart. The teacher was so kind and patient, and could cater to us with our lack of Japanese. There was even a playground with a roller slide in the park next to the building, which was perfect for keeping our 1 year old busy while we participated.

We had such a great time creating our little cupcake and fruit tart! The instructor was so kind and spoke very good English, while simultaneously explaining to another group of visitors in Japanese. It was also a nice change of pace from running around Tokyo to sit and do a craft. We had a hard time choosing additional souvenirs (a magnet and keychain) from their wide selection, and it felt nice to buy from a local business versus the mass produced ones you’ll see in tourist shops. We’d love to come back and do a larger craft next time we’re in town!

I did the mini curry rice phone stand and it was a really fun activity. the instructions and guidance was so clear and it made the activity run smoothly with no mistakes :)

It was my first experience on a yakatabune (houseboat). Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, but the food we had, including sashimi and freshly fried tempura, was delicious and satisfying. Next time, I would like to join the recommended night tour on the boat! Although the scenery didn't quite match the clear autumn skies, I had a great time!

初めての屋形船体験でした。お天気が生憎の雨模様でしたが、いただくお食事はお刺身や揚げたての天ぷらなど、どれも美味しく満足しました。今度は船の方のオススメのナイトツアーでもお邪魔したいと思います♪景色は残念ながら秋晴れとはいきませんてしたが、とても楽しかったです！

My son and I loved making the curry rice. The instructor was really patient and helpful!

I was looking forward to my first kiriko experience. After practicing a few times, it was straight to the main event. I received a brief explanation at first, but then I felt a bit abandoned. I think the enjoyment of the experience varies depending on the instructor.

This time, the dinner on the yakatabune was at my 80-year-old mother's request. As a result, she was very happy and satisfied. The hospitality of the staff serving the food was also wonderful. Additionally, we were fortunate to have a good mix of other customers on board, and we were able to have friendly conversations and enjoy a pleasant time together. The tempura was also very delicious.

今回の屋形船ディナーは80歳の母のリクエストでした。結果、母は大変喜び満足することができました。料理をサーブしてくれるスタッフの方たちのホスピタリティーも素晴らしかったです。また巡り合わせも良く、一緒に乗船した他のお客様と一緒とも気さくにお話しでき楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。お料理も天ぷらがとてもおいしかったです。

I participated with a close group of three friends. Although it was a shared ride, the tables were arranged by group, and the seating was spacious, so I hardly noticed the neighboring group. It was a time of year that wasn't too hot or too cold, so the evening breeze felt nice. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. If I have the chance, I would like to go again.

仲良し３人組で参加しました。
乗り合いといってもグループごとのテーブルになっており、席はゆったりしているので、隣のグループが気になることはほとんどありません。
暑くも寒くもない時期でしたので、夜風が気持ち良かったです。
料理も美味しく、スタッフも親切でした。
機会があれば、また行きたいです。
