We really enjoyed the view of Tokyo from Skytree, 350 meters above the city! Since we had bought the 7-day Flexi Dates fast pass tickets, we were able to skip a 3-hour line during the Japanese Golden Week! In just 20 minutes we were able to climb the elevator up to the Deck, as we were placed in a fast-track line. Obtaining the tickets is very easy and reliable: just skip the long regular ticket queue, go around the corner of the building where the customer service desk is found and exchange the voucher with actual tickets; the staff is super friendly and helpful. We visited Skytree just before dusk and we were able to enjoy the city view during both the daytime and nighttime, when the sun was setting! Another plus of buying the vouchers via Veltra is that you will have the opportunity to visit Skytree when the weather is at its best; indeed, we decided to go on the second day when the sky was clear, as the weather was rainy on the first day. Up there you will be able to see the entire city with 360 degrees of uninterrupted view, as well as mountain Fuji on the horizon! The entire experience was seamless, and it is highly recommended that you equip yourself with this voucher before visiting Skytree!

This time, I attended the event that started at 6 PM. I haven't seen the one that starts at 9 PM, so I can't make a blanket statement, but in my personal opinion, it wasn't worth the amount I paid. It felt like watching someone else's children's play. What a disappointment.

I also think that not drinking alcohol might have contributed to my experience. If I had been a bit tipsy, I might have enjoyed it more. The flashy costumes and performances, along with some rather sexy choreography... I feel like I could have had a better time if I had some drinks.

Additionally, although there was a note saying "Please arrive before the show starts," the check-in time was listed as 6 PM, so I went at that time just to be safe, but that was a mistake. It seems that arriving just before the show starts is actually fine. The show starts at 7:30 PM, so those attending should take note.

Daytime view of Tokyo

We were glad to have seen Tokyo from the SkyTree. A panoramic view of the city gave great appreciation for its’ size and layout. We were struck by how many rivers there were. Unfortunately Mt. Fuji was not visible on the day we went, due to haze.

The SkyTree is a very popular attraction and so there were long lineups for the elevators to take you up and down and crowds of people generally, but staff are well organized, friendly and as efficient as they can be given the numbers. We enjoyed our experience.

If you enjoy the night lights you can see all the sites of Tokyo from here. The fast pass is good as it lets u bypass the Line. The glass floor is so awesome and you can get your pics taken there. There is also a cafe.

This is one of the must do’s in Tokyo. The best views of Tokyo at night. You can shop for souvenirs and they will take pictures for you also. There is 360 view from the Trembo deck and you can see good sunset.

This is such an awesome way to see Tokyo. We went at dusk and were able to skip the line and go up quickly. The views are amazing from the tembo deck. They even take ur pictures for free. Awesome way to spend your eve. They also have gift shops and lots of dining options.

We had fun at the department store shopping and eating
the children went back to shop some more the next day
Next time we will not buy the ticket to go up but will just go to the stores downstairs. They have so many things that the whole family can enjoy

Oedo Onsen Monogatari Tickets

Amazing first onsen experience

My husband and I had an amazing time at this onsen spa amusement park. It was relaxing and fun. I liked that we got to choose a yakata to wear around the activity/restaurant area; we got great pics with them on. There were a lot of hot baths to choose from, I tried all of them. The best one was the bath with bubble, and the steam room. I liked how we could just walk around the activity area and whatever we wanted to buy or eat, we could just scan our bracelet they provide when you check in and then pay at the very end at checkout. No worries about carrying cash. There were so many food stalls to choose from; it’s like going to a fair. This place is also family friendly; children can go into the onsen and they have games for kids to play too. Don’t forget to check out the sofa room with comfortable chairs and TVs to take nap after onsen. I even got a traditional body massage which was great. After day at onsen, check out Diver City for the large unicorn Gundam. Odaiba has so much to offer!

Great experience during Skytree Super Disco!

Awesome experience! Seamless process from purchasing the discounted admission through Veltra, handing the voucher to the 4th floor counter staff, and getting in.

The staff kind of cautioned us about the Disco event, saying there would be loud music and dancing. But we didn't mind; we loved the performing DJs and danced along with everyone! And even if one were sensitive to the noise... the lower levels were kind of muted and couldn't hear the music from there.

And the views were amazing, of Tokyo at night. Highly recommended for tourists and even Tokyo residents!

My mom and I really enjoyed visiting Skytree. We went up to 350m observation deck and the elevator only takes 50 seconds!!! The view was great even though it was cloudy that day. I’m sure it’s spectacular on a clear sunny day. There are places where you can take your own picture with a sign and also where they’ll take your photo with your phone/camera and theirs. You can buy the photo they took with very nice cover for ¥1300 if you like. Access to Skytree is easy too with so many train or bus options. We took the shuttle bus from Ueno since I had a luggage. You can also leave your luggage at the counter in the shop there for ¥500. We took the shuttle bus straight to Haneda airport afterward which made it super nice and easy. I’d like to visit again on a clear day next time!

Dashing Burlesque Cabaret Show In Roppongi with Open Bar

Went out after work with a colleague and at first, I was a bit skeptical going to a burlesque show with girls. I wasn't expecting the Moulin Rouge, but the girls were definitely just as powerful and really hard working. The performances were all very entertaining and the dances were awesome. Since it's a small venue, you get to interact with the performers reaaaaaaaaaally up close.

Kudos to the MC (and "Santa Baby" lol) who totally was making the audience rock their socks!

The company Valtra attended to us right away with no delays... The Skytree was an impressive structure, with the panaramic view of the whole city. However, for future visits to the Skytree, it is best to visit on clear days for most optimum view. The day I visited, it was a rainy day and was not able to see Mt Fuji. Overall experience was good and highly recommended the visit.

It seemed like there were new staff members, and there were many moments where I questioned the service. The cast members greeted us beforehand and were very dedicated during the show, which was nice to see. However, the structure and theme of the show lacked consistency; it was unclear whether it was meant to be funny or suddenly serious, which made it feel quite strange. I've seen various shows both domestically and internationally, and in comparison, I was somewhat dissatisfied with the value for the cost.

I visited at noon on a Friday and spent almost three hours enjoying my stay. I used the bath, had a 40 minute foot shiatsu massage, that was affordable, visited the outdoor foot massage pool, and ate wonderful japanese food at the food court. I ate cold soba noodles and sushi with beer. I also spent a brief moment resting in the tatami mat room. The place was clean and I felt refreshed. It was fun to wear the traditional Japanese garments and walk barefoot. It wasn't too crowded either at that time. It was a worthwhile first experience and I want to come again.

Incredible activity. We enjoyed the Sumo a lot.

The only bad thing was the guide that spoke in such a low voice that we weren’t able to hear most of the explanation.
Did not like either that the meeting point was a unique place and had to go there by train and then pay the train back (included in the price) but we already had a ticket that covered for that journey, so It could have been 2200 yen cheaper.

Even though, I recommend the experience.

Good service, easy to experience. Views outstanding and glass floor too!
One improvement would be - staff got you up there exceptionally quickly but felt like they forgot about the return journey to ground! More personal attention on getting out would be good, especially as it was so personal getting up!

While this experience turned out to be different from my image of "kabuki," it was still enjoyable. The standard ticket includes a reserved table and an all-you-can-drink menu. We were very close to the stage. The atmosphere was cozy, but elegant. The performers were all talented, though there were stand-outs. They all came out to talk to the audience after the show. I especially recommend this event for travelers in the LGBT+ community. We left very happy!

....unfortunately on my visit day the weather was rainy and due to clouds no visibility was given from the top of the tower. Means I will need to comeback on my next trip to Tokyo. Overall nice experience, support organized visitor guidance and a lot of information provided. In case you are a fan of the Avengers you will ove it as the entire tower is full of them...

SEIBU 1 Day Discount Train Pass for Tokyo and Saitama

Highly recommended especially if you are a nature lover, want to see the traditional side of Japan and want to know its culture and rich history.

There are lots of places to go to and choose from. A wide selection from seibu and saitama attractions. Not to mention the blossoming flowers on each season.

Unfortunately in our case we were too late for spring and too early for summer. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed the tour by going to Kawagoe to experience the edo period from the old building structures to the delicious local delicacy they offer. We also rented a bike which was very helpful to tour the whole area, else it will take a lot of time going from one location to another. So I must say this is a must to maximize your time at Kawagoe.

We also visited the anime museum to know its origin. Too bad we arrived few minutes late before closing time 'coz we got lost going to our destination. Thus, we were not able to enter and see how our favorite animes were made. But they were too kind and still accommodated us by giving us souvenir. So make sure to map out the designated location in your google maps app to save you from any trouble. Also, take note of the opening and closing time of the desired places you want to go to so you won't get disappointed.

Make it a point to plan the places you want to visit since most of it requires a bit of travel time. The brochure they gave us was very informative and helped us a lot on our trip. Don't forget to read all the details written on it.

To end our tour on a positive note, we endulged ourselves in a relaxing onsen experience at Toshemaen niwa no Yu to soothe our tired body and swollen feet. We got on the last train trip going back to our accommodation feeling refreshed and rejuvinated ready to embark on the next trip the following day.

I am a Canadian mom who recently travelled to Japan with her 16 year old son, and we did this tour with Veltra and it was awesome. Do not hesitate to book this. It was awesome, and one of the best experiences in Tokyo. I have the I love Sumo coasters to prove it.

Our tour guide explained all of the rules and protocols to us, which made watching the competition so much more fun.
