Great moment. Highly recommended!

Introductory Karate Class with English-Speaking Master in Nakano
Great experience
Reviewed by: Marina, 2019/11/16We had a great karate lesson that mixed several martial arts in a very well organized manner.
Sensei Jun showed us techniques, Kata and we got to try different styles, always supervised by Sensei. The other students that were in the class were very supportive patient when sharing their knowledge, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
After class we all shared time together and to know the rest of the class a bit better.
Overall a great experience that left me wishing I'd stay in Tokyo a bit longer just to continue training with Sensei Jun.

Reviewed by: まきんぼ, 2019/11/12担当の俥夫さんは好きなコースを選ばせてくれましたし、同乗した４歳の子供の相手も笑顔でしてくれました。オススメのお店や、浅草の豆知識などを聞きながら、乗り心地の良い人力車で下町をぶらり、良い気分でした。すれ違う子供たちはみんな羨ましそうに見てました、やはり一度は乗せてあげられて良かったと思いました。ただ、途中で飽きてしまうので、短いコースにしたのも正解だったと思います。（車の上でふざけ始めると危ないですから･･･）私自身はもう少し乗っていたです。
乗車後季節のシール（今は秋）と京都など全国の支店で利用できる次回優待券もいただいたので、四季を通して乗りたくなりますね。乗る前にしっかりとトイレタイムもとってくれましたし、何より急かされなかったのが嬉しかったです。

Kimono Rental and Kimono Dressing in Nihonbashi
Grenat experience !
Reviewed by: Tamara, 2019/08/20We wanted to tour the Nihombashi shrines in kimonos : the welcome and fitting was perfect, the lady was very soft and polite and used a translator to communicate if necessary.
There was a large choice of kimonos/obis/bags/hair ornaments and shoes all in perfect condition. Even the August temperature couldn't lower our enthusiasm !
I completely recommand the experience ! We received compliments from natives on the street and shot beautiful pictures.

Authentic Japanese Sencha and Matcha Green Tea Tasting Experience in Tokyo
Must do class! Amazing tea master!

Youske, the tea master who was giving us this experience is Japanese-American so for us he was very relatable, easy to speak to and has been one of the best people we were able to connect and ask questions about japan since language barrier wasn’t a problem. The session was just my sister and I and one other individual so the small, basically private , group made conversation really easy. This experience was a nice step back from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and this tea shop was so relaxing and charming! The other individual who was at this session with us was an avid tea drinker who knew her different types of tea and she had plenty to learn from this experience, and youske is very knowledgeable about all things tea. I personally knew nothing about tea expect for trying the complimentary matcha at restaurants and really enjoyed this experience. I think it did teach me to appreciate tea a bit more. The description says you try 10 but during our session we tried 13 different types of tea ranging from sencha to matcha and Gyokuro which is the highest quality tea made in Japan. My sister and I left this session feeling energized from not only the tea but also just the human connection of the experience. I asked him what he considers his title to be ,tea master or tea sensei or tea enthusiasts, and he just saids that tea is just served best with some nuanced things like temperature and steeping time and he likes giving people the experience of trying tea at its best.

Elegant Tea Ceremony at Warakuan Teahouse in Tokyo
Incredible ceremony

The tea master is incredibly and, although he does not speak english, they give you an english document with all the instruction. A lady translated us what the madter was saying. Fantastic experience!

Highly Recommend!

The geisha performance was very well executed and I loved the live music. The games were really fun and the geisha made everyone feel at ease. Make sure you wear or bring socks since you will have to remove your shoes when you arrive.

Dynamic Traditional Taiko Japanese Drumming Lesson in Tokyo
Takua San was a fun teacher.

I spoke a little Japanese, so we did the class in Japanese. It was mostly following patterns and rhythms, so the language barrier wasn't a problem. I had so much fun!

初めての浅草
Reviewed by: YUKI, 2019/05/04浅草へ行くのは初めてで、一人旅だったのでどうしようかと考え、こちらのお店へお願いする事に。スタッフさんはとても感じ良いし、着付けの手際も良かったです。普段は着ない着物を着て、カメラマンさんと一緒に浅草へ。オプションでお願いしていた写真撮影も、写真を撮るだけだと思っていたら、とっても丁寧に観光案内までして下さって本当に助かりました。写真撮影も本格的で、目線やポーズにまで気を遣っての撮影にびっくりしました。大変思い出に残る素敵な時間にして下さったスタッフの方々に感謝でいっぱいです。また機会があったら利用したいと思っております。ありがとうございました。

Sumo Wrestlers Morning Practice and Special Access Viewing in Tokyo with Pick-up
Amazing Sumo Morning Practice
Reviewed by: Amanda, 2019/05/01This was by far one of the coolest experiences we had during our three week trip to Japan. Our amazing tour guide (wish I could remember how to spell his name), met us in the lobby of our hotel then took us by train to the sumo stable. Before getting there he gave a us a helpful rundown about sumo wrestling and what to expect. At the practice we sat front row, close enough to touch the wrestler's. Seeing how strong and big they're was impressive. We also got to see just how hard they work. The only downside was sitting cross-legged on a thin mat for an hour and a half, which was a bit uncomfortable. I had to keep shifting my position.This may not be a good tour choice for someone who has knee or back problems. Because we were visiting during Golden Week, the main stadium building was open and we got to see that and the Sumo Museum as well. Just to give you an idea of how wonderful our guide was, after our sumo tour he took us via train to Tokyo Dome and helped us buy tickets for that days baseball game. He totally went out of his way to help us and did it all with a smile. What a world class tour guide and overall experience.

Fun Sumie Ink Painting Lesson in Tokyo with English Speaking Instructor
A super fun introduction to Sumie Ink painting!

The instructor, Yuta, was a very knowledgable, funny man, and a fantastic teacher! Eager to share said knowledge, and make the class as fun as possible.
The class itself, was super chill, and relaxing, as sumie should be. The gallery is full of Yuta's father's paintings, and helps create a calm, and beautiful environment to paint in!
If you're in Tokyo, then defiantly give this class a try! It' so much fun. The gallery is in a great area too, perfect for book lovers.

Absolutely fantastic and memorable experience

The three ladies who held the Tea Ceremony were all proficient in English. They treated us like Empresses and were gracious and kind.
We were dressed in the traditional outfits, which took time and patience on their part. The clothes and accessories were meticulously laid out and the process was flawless.
Once dressed, we were "guests" at the Tea Ceremony, and served tea after learning the process and the history. We then tried to emulate the process (I was not very good at that!) As a world traveler I have attended many events, but non matched this look back in to Japans history and the culture associated with this classic Japanese custom.

Fun Sumie Ink Painting Lesson in Tokyo with English Speaking Instructor
I found the class educational and cultural.

From the moment I arrived I was welcome, the class and lesson was prepared.
The teacher was knowledgeable in the history of Sumi’e; his English was excellent and he engaged my interest, the process was explained well and he gauged well my ability.
I left the lesson pleased with what I had learnt and excited to continue learning more and experimenting with Sumie.
I would definitely recommend this class as a must do cultural experience:
Value for money, honestly I would happily have paid more, the ability and experience of the teacher was excellent.
