Seeing the sea turtle come up to the surface was so exciting! The ocean was incredibly beautiful, and it became a wonderful memory. The guide was also entertaining and fantastic.

I experienced snorkeling.
I had always struggled with snorkeling, but the instructions were clear, and I was able to swim calmly. Miraculously, I was lucky enough to encounter a sea turtle. I was also moved by the opportunity to see marine life up close.

To those planning to participate:
If you join, having a rental car is convenient. There are buses available, but the timing didn't quite match with the experience schedule. Also, please be careful as there is nothing around the area.

シュノーケリングを体験しました。
今までシュノーケリングは苦手でしたが、説明が上手で落ち着いて泳ぐことができました。
奇跡的にウミガメにも出会う事ができラッキー。それ以外にも海の中の生き物を身近に見ることができ感動しました。

参加予定の皆さまへ。
参加の場合、レンタカーがあると便利です。交通手段はバスがあるのですが、体験の時間とタイミングがなかなか合いませんでした。また周囲には何もありませんので、お気をつけ下さい。

The guidance was very clear, and I was able to enjoy safe and comfortable snorkeling. Meeting a sea turtle and being in the same space for a long time will be a lifelong memory. I also got to see clownfish and various other fish. Everyone who participated had a great time. Thank you!

It was my first time snorkeling, but I received proper instruction and had a lot of fun seeing many fish and sea turtles!

It was my first time snorkeling, and I received a very clear lecture at the beginning. It was a bit challenging until I got used to it, but gradually I was able to enjoy the ocean. They took many wonderful photos and videos! We had to leave right before the 4 PM speedboat, but they made sure we started around 1 PM so we could make it in time, which was very helpful.

I recommend this for anyone who wants to easily see sea turtles, colorful fish, and coral in the waters of Yakushima!

初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、最初にとても分かりやすくレクチャーしていただきました。慣れるまでは、少し大変でしたが、次第に海を楽しむ余裕が出てきました。たくさん、素敵な写真や動画を撮っていただけます!16時の高速船で、帰る直前でしたが、13時頃から始めて、間に合うようにしてくださり、とても助かりました。

屋久島の海に入って、ウミガメやカラフルな魚たちやサンゴを気軽に見たいという方におすすめです!

My mother, who is not good at swimming, was filled with anxiety and tension, but under the fun and enthusiastic guidance, she was able to relax and became captivated by the wonderful underwater world. We even got to see a sea turtle, and it was a very fulfilling experience in a short amount of time!

I couldn't enter the sea because the waves were high and there were many sea turtles, but I enjoyed snorkeling in a nearby calm and clear sea! Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any sea turtles, but there were plenty of beautiful fish! I was also happy to take many photos as a solo participant. The cheerful and lively guide taught me a lot about Yakushima. I would love to join again if I have the opportunity! 😊

波が高くてウミガメがたくさんいるという海に入れませんでしたが、近くの穏やかで透明度が互い海でシュノーケリングを楽しみました！
残念ながらウミガメには会えませんでしたが、綺麗なお魚達はたくさんいました！

I think this tour is recommended for beginners as they teach you how to snorkel from scratch.

The weather was cloudy, and the waves were rough, so the conditions weren't great, but I was able to encounter a sea turtle!! I got to swim with the sea turtle for a while. I was quite nervous since it had been a long time since I was in the ocean, but I enjoyed the waters of Yakushima★

天気は曇り、波も立ち、状況はあまりよくありませんでしたが、ウミガミに出会えました！！しばらくウミガメと一緒に泳ぐことができました。久しぶりの海でかなり緊張していましだが、屋久島の海を楽しめました★

We participated in a graduation celebration for elementary school with three 12-year-old boys, one 8-year-old girl, and two adults. Even the children who were not good swimmers were guided by the staff who provided flotation devices, and we were able to see sea turtles. The four of them enjoyed their first snorkeling experience in a private setting, which made it truly memorable. Thank you very much.

小学校の卒業記念に12才男子3人8才女子1人大人2人で参加させていただきました。泳ぎが得意でない子もガイドさんが浮き具を引いて連れて行ってくださり、ウミガメにも会うことができました。4人は初のシュノーケリングで貸しきりにしていただいたので満喫することができました。本当にいい思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。

My first snorkeling experience. I was a bit nervous, but I was amazed by the crystal-clear sea where I could see all the way to the bottom! After receiving a briefing, we headed into the water. The shimmering schools of fish were magical, and the feeling of swimming alongside them was incredible. The mountains and scenery viewed from the sea were beautiful as well. It was an hour that flew by in no time. Afterward, we went to a hot spring. I got to interact with the locals, and it warmed both my body and heart. The guide kindly recommended delicious dining spots and even drove us to the restaurant. They were gentle and attentive from start to finish. The beautiful sea of Yakushima definitely makes me want to go snorkeling again!

初めてのシュノーケリング。緊張もありましたが、海の底まで見える透明な海に感激!　レクチャーを受けて海へ。キラキラ光るキビナゴの群れなど幻想的で、間近で魚が見られ、魚と一緒に泳いでいる感覚は最高でした。海からみる山々や景色もきれいでした。あつと言う間の1時間でした。終了後は温泉に。地元の方とも触れ合えて体も心もポカポカです。ガイドの方から美味しい食事処を教えていただき、お店まで送って下さいました。最初から最後まで優しく丁寧に対応して下さいました。屋久島のきれい海は、またシュノーケリングをしたい!と思えること間違いなし！です。

In the morning, I was looking for snorkeling that I could join after tracking, and I contacted Yakusugi Nature Guide, which offers four different time slots. They provided me with detailed advice on the timing before I made my reservation, which was very helpful.

On the day of the tour, although the conditions weren't ideal, they did their utmost to fulfill our wish to see sea turtles. Moreover, they provided interesting and appropriate snorkeling gear and taught us how to swim, allowing my daughter, who was participating for the first time, to feel safe and enjoy herself. We were able to see various fish and sea turtles.

They also took many underwater photos from different angles, which made for even better memories.

After snorkeling, we drove for about 15 minutes, took a shower, and enjoyed a warm drink.

It was a very enjoyable time. Thank you!

午前中は、トラッキングをしてからの午後から参加できるシュノーケリングを探していたところ、4つの時間設定をされている屋久杉自然案内さんに、問い合わせさせていただきました。申し込みまでにも、時間のアドバイスも丁寧にしていただき、とても助かりました。

当日は、ベストなコンディションではなかったものの、私達の海ガメに会いたい希望を叶える為に、全力を尽くしていただきました。しかも、面白く、適切なシュノーケリングの器具、泳ぎ方を教えていただけるので、初めての娘も安心して、楽しんで参加できました。いろいろなお魚、海ガメに会えました。

水中写真も、いろいろなアングルから沢山撮っていただけるので、更に良い思い出になりました。

シュノーケル後は、15分程車で移動し、シャワーを浴びて、温かい飲み物をいただきました。

とても、楽しい時間でした。ありがとうございました。

First, they suggested whether we preferred calmer waves or a higher chance of encountering sea turtles! They provided thorough instructions on how to float and how to handle situations when water gets in, so even those who aren't confident swimmers can feel at ease as they will be pulled along. Additionally, they took videos for us besides the photos we took ourselves, making for great memories.

まず最初に波が穏やかな方か、ウミガメに会える可能性が高い方どちらがいいか提案してもらいました！浮き方や、水が入ってしまったときの対処法なども丁寧にレクチャーして頂けますし、泳ぎに自信がない方でも、ひっぱって連れていってもらえるのであまり心配しなくてもいいと思います！
自分たちでとる写真以外にも動画など撮っていただけるので良い思い出になりました

I finally got to swim with sea turtles! The weather was perfect, and I was able to encounter 7 out of the 8 turtles confirmed to be living in the area, creating wonderful memories.

Thank you for your courteous response, even though I made the reservation just two days prior. It was a bit disappointing that the shuttle service didn't come to the Awa area as mentioned. However, I appreciated the detailed confirmation email sent the day before, which included the bus schedule to the meeting port.

The facilities included four showers, sinks, and hairdryers, and the cozy room where I could warm up after the shower with a warm drink was very much appreciated!

Before snorkeling, they provided a thorough explanation of the camera angles. After showering, we enjoyed drinks in the room while reviewing the footage from the underwater camera together. The data was shared with us on the same day—what a quick service!

The guide, Harazaki, was lively and entertaining! Thank you!

念願のウミガメと泳げました！
天候にも恵まれているなか、生息が確認されている8匹中7匹も出会えて、素敵な思い出になりました。

2日前の予約でしたが、ご丁寧に対応いただきありがとうございました。
送迎ありとの記載でしたが、安房エリアには来られないとのことでそれだけは残念でした。
ですが前日の確認メールで、待ち合わせの港までのバスの時間を含めた詳細を送っていただけました。

4基のシャワー、洗面台とドライヤーの設備、
シャワー後に冷えた体を温められるコテージのようなお部屋と暖かい飲み物
とてもありがたかったです！

シュノーケリングの前には画角の説明までしっかりいただけます。
シャワー後お部屋で飲み物をいただきながら、水中カメラの映像を皆で確認させていただけました。
データの共有も当日中にいただけ、なんて迅速なお仕事なんでしょう、、

My first snorkeling experience was a bit nerve-wracking, but the instructor and all the staff who provided transportation were very friendly, which made it a lot of fun. I had a hard time moving forward, so they prepared a float for me and pulled me along the whole time... haha. I wasn't able to see any sea turtles due to the season, but I was able to see many fish in the ocean, and I would love to try snorkeling in other seas as well. Thank you very much!

初めてのシュノーケリングは不安もありましたが、インストラクターさんはじめ、送迎して下さったスタッフさん皆フレンドリーに接してくれてとても楽しかったです。
なかなか前に進めず浮き輪？を用意してくれていたので終始引っ張っていってもらいましたが…笑
ウミガメには時期的に会えなかったのですが、海の中のたくさんの魚を見ることができまた他の海でも体験してみたいと思いました。

I was a bit worried since it was my first time snorkeling and I hadn't swum in the ocean for a long time, but the guide patiently taught me how to use the snorkel and fins, and they stayed close by while I was swimming, which made me feel safe and allowed me to enjoy the experience. According to the guide's prior information, we might not see any sea turtles, which made me a bit anxious as I entered the water, but soon after, I encountered about three of them! I also enjoyed seeing various creatures like clownfish, lionfish, and needlefish. Since I wasn't very experienced at swimming, it was really great that the guide took photos for us (they took many pictures and videos of the creatures as well). My family, who swam alongside me, was very satisfied with the tour. The pickup location on the day was flexible, so it's reassuring even if you don't have a car. It might also be a good idea to ask the guide for recommendations on restaurants and sightseeing spots.

ガイドさんからの事前情報ではウミガメ見れないかもしれない…とのことで、不安に思いつつ海に入りましたが、間もなく3匹ぐらいに遭遇できました！
他にもクマノミやミノカサゴ、ダツ等色々な生き物も見れて楽しかったです。
泳ぎ慣れてない中でのシュノーケリング体験だったので、ガイドさんに写真を撮って頂けたのは本当に良かったと思います。(生き物の写真や動画もたくさん撮って頂きました。)
一緒に泳いだ家族も大満足のツアーでした。
当日の送迎場所は柔軟に調整して頂けるので、車がなくても安心です。他にもオススメのご飯処や観光場所等もガイドさんに聞いてみると良いかもしれません。

We participated in snorkeling for two in mid-October!

It was our first experience with snorkeling, but thanks to the detailed instructions, we were able to fully enjoy the waters of Yakushima.

We encountered sea turtles four times, which was a dream come true and made for an amazing experience. We were impressed by the instructor's ability to spot the turtles!

After snorkeling, we were able to use a private shower room, which allowed us to take a relaxing shower. We were grateful that we could continue our sightseeing without feeling sticky afterward.

This is an activity I can wholeheartedly recommend!

10月中旬のシュノーケリングに2人で参加しました！

シュノーケリングは初体験でしたが
細かなレクチャーの甲斐あり、屋久島の海を満足に堪能できました。

念願のウミガメには4度遭遇することができ、
最高の経験となりました。
インストラクターのウミガメ発見力には驚きでした！

シュノーケリングの後は
専用のシャワールームを貸してもらいゆっくりシャワーを浴びれました。
その後の観光もベタつがずにいれたので感謝です。

進んでお勧めできるアクティビティです！

It had been a while since I was at the ocean, and I was a bit nervous, but the snorkeling instructions were thorough and easy to understand, which was great. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy snorkeling safely. (Some people might feel a bit anxious?) I saw so many colorful fish, and I even encountered three sea turtles and was able to swim with them. It was a wonderful and precious experience. I also had a great time with the other participants, which was nice. The ocean in Yakushima is amazing. Thank you for the wonderful time.

I was filled with anxiety during my first snorkeling experience, but the explanations were clear and I was able to enjoy it.

Regarding my concerns, I thought there would be some preparation needed for my belongings. However, for this tour, there was no need to worry. After signing up for the tour, I received a call once (I'm not sure about the timing) and another call the day before the tour. They provided explanations during those calls, which made me feel at ease to participate in the tour.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, we couldn't see any sea turtles, but even under those circumstances, the tour conveyed the charm of Yakushima.

If I have the opportunity again, I would like to try again.

今回初めてのシュノーケリングで不安でいっぱいでしたが、色々とわかりやすく説明をしていただき楽しく終えることができました。

不安の点でいうと、荷物などの事前準備があると思います。
ただ今回のツアーはその心配はいりませんでした。
理由としては、ツアー申込後？(ここは定かではない)に1度、ツアー前日にもう1度のお電話をいただきました。
その際も説明などをしていただきましたので安心してツアーに参加できました。

ツアー自体は、生憎の天候でウミガメを見ることはできませんでしたが、その状況下でも屋久島の魅力が伝わるようなツアーでした。

また機会がありましたらリベンジさせていただきます。

I participated in a tour on the morning of my departure from Yakushima. I was able to see sea turtles and even swimming squid. Although the visibility in the sea was said to be a bit poor due to the rain from the previous days, I didn't notice it much and was able to fully enjoy the experience! After the tour, I appreciated the warm tea, shower, and hairdryer. The coffee break after getting ready was also a lot of fun as I got to chat with others! Thank you very much! I hope to have the opportunity again.

屋久島から帰る日の午前中にツアーに参加しました。ウミガメに会えて泳いでるイカにも会えて、前日前々日の雨で海は少し見通しが悪いとの事でしたがそんなに分からず満喫することができました！体験が終わってから頂いた温かいお茶、シャワーやドライヤーなどありがたかったです。身支度が終わったあとのコーヒーブレイクもお話を聞いたりしてすごく楽しかったです！本当にありがとうございました！また機会があればお願いします。

Based on the wave conditions, it was uncertain whether we would see sea turtles today, but in the end, we were able to encounter them multiple times and even got some close-up shots! I was also surprised by the variety of fish in the waters around Yakushima. The guide was kind, and I'm glad I chose this snorkeling tour! It became the best memory of my trip to Yakushima!

I participated in the morning of my last day in Yakushima and was moved to see 5 or 6 sea turtles! There were some waves, but I was able to see many sea turtles and fish in the beautiful sea, and I was very satisfied! I also appreciated that photos were taken from various angles. The snorkeling lesson, the photo session with the sea turtles, and the transportation afterward were all excellent! It was a very satisfying tour.

シュノーケリングのレクからウミガメとの写真撮影、その後の送迎まで至れり尽くせりでした！大満足のいくツアーになりました。

Snorkeling was my first experience, but I received a lecture on how to use the mask and precautions while swimming, which allowed even beginners like me to swim surprisingly well.

There are people who can swim effortlessly from the start and those who cannot, so I personally think it would be nice to have a bit more consideration for that difference.

It seems that you can see sea turtles quite often. On the day I participated, the appearance rate of sea turtles was particularly high, and it became challenging to observe the sea life slowly as I was busy chasing after the turtles. I think you can expect them to be slightly smaller than you might imagine. There were also various fish besides the sea turtles.

After snorkeling, there was time to talk with other participants and the guide, where I was able to share various conversations.

Overall, it was a memorable and great experience. Thank you very much!

シュノーケリングは初挑戦でしたが、最初にマスクの使い方や泳ぐときの注意点などをレクチャーしてもらい初心者でも意外と泳げました。
最初からすいすい泳げる人とそうでない人はいるので、その差に対する配慮がもう少しだけあるといいなと個人的には思いました。

うみがめは結構な確率で見れるみたいです。
私が参加した日は特にうみがめの出現率が高く、途中からうみがめを追うことが大変でゆっくり海の中を観察とまではいけませんでした。
想像するより少し小さめのうみがめと思っていいと思います。
うみがめ以外にも色んな魚がいました。

シュノーケリング後に他の参加者の方とガイドさんとお話する時間がありそこでいろいろお話することができました。

総じて記憶に残るよい経験になりました。どうもありがとうございました！

It was mid-September in the evening, and the water was not cold, with a beautiful sea where I could see the bottom. I was able to encounter three turtles. The turtles swam slowly, ate seaweed, and took breaths; they were truly adorable. Additionally, there were various brightly colored fish swimming around, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tropical sea. Also, since it was a plan that included photos, I was able to get some wonderful pictures taken. The plan started later in the day, so I think it's perfect as an activity for the day upon arriving at the airport.

9月の中旬の夕方でしたが、水も冷たくなく、底まで見えるきれいな海でカメに3匹も会うことができました。
カメはゆっくり泳いだり、ひたすら海藻を食べたり、息継ぎしたり本当に可愛かったです。
その他にもいろいろな鮮やかな色の魚も泳いでいて、南国の海を満喫できました。
また、写真込のプランだったので、素敵な写真を撮っていただけました。
スタート時間が遅めのプランだったので、空港について当日のアクティビティとして最高だと思います。
