I have seen sea turtles in Okinawa and Amami, but it was my first time in Yakushima, where they were the most accustomed to people, allowing for a slow observation! They were so cute! ⭐︎ If you come to Yakushima, you definitely want to meet them! (^ ^)

I went snorkeling for the first time, and the guide taught us carefully, making it a fun experience! I was also able to see two sea turtles, which was amazing!

For those who are new to snorkeling, the detailed explanations provided made it easy to participate with confidence. We were able to see various fish, including clownfish, wrasses, and schools of barracuda. Additionally, we spotted two sea turtles (an adult and a juvenile), which made for a very fulfilling experience. Although there was some concern about the weather, it turned out to be an enjoyable snorkeling adventure.

シュノーケリングが初めての方も、詳しい説明をしていただくので、安心して参加することができました。
また、クマノミなどの魚からブダイ、カマスなどの群れをみることができました。またメインのウミガメも2匹(大人のカメ、子供のカメ)を見ることができ、大変充実した時間になりました。
天候に左右される心配される可能性もありましたが、楽しいシュノーケリングになりました。

When I arrived at the airport, it was pouring rain, and I was worried about what would happen. However, it was sunny by the sea, and I even got to see a sea turtle! Thank you so much!

Due to the typhoon swells, unfortunately, I couldn't meet any sea turtles this time, but the snorkeling experience was filled with colorful fish and large schools of sardines, which was truly impressive.

As a beginner who is not very good at swimming, I was quite anxious, but the pre-lecture was very thorough. They paid close attention to each person's breathing and resting posture at the water's edge, ensuring safety, which allowed me to participate with peace of mind.

台風うねりのため、残念ながら今回はウミガメに会うことができませんでしたが、色とりどりの魚やキビナゴの大群に感動いっぱいのシュノーケリングでした。
初心者で泳ぎも不得意で、とても不安でしたが、事前のレクチャーがとても丁寧で、波打ち際での一人一人の呼吸や休憩姿勢の確認など、安全に配慮してくださり、安心して参加できました。

I participated with a friend. I wasn't very familiar with snorkeling, but the guide explained everything clearly and kindly, which made me feel at ease during the experience. We were lucky enough to encounter two sea turtles, and they came up close to the surface several times for air, allowing us to observe them up close! Surrounded by various fish, squid, and many other creatures, I had a great time listening to the guide's detailed explanations. Since it was a small group, I was able to ask many questions during the snorkeling. The guide also took a lot of photos during the experience, making it a wonderful memory on the last day in Yakushima! Thank you very much!

友人と2人で参加しました。シュノーケルにはあまり慣れていませんでしたが、ガイドさんが丁寧にわかりやすく説明して下さったので安心して体験できました。
ウミガメにも2匹出会うことができ、また幸運にも何度も息継ぎのために海面近くに来てくれたおかげで、とても間近でウミガメを観察することができました！
色んな魚やイカ、貝などたくさんの生き物たちに囲まれて、ガイドさんの詳しい解説を聞きながら体験ができて、とても楽しかったです！少人数での体験だったので、シュノーケル中もたくさん質問に答えて頂くことができました。
体験中の写真も本当にたくさん撮って頂けて、屋久島最終日に最高の思い出になりました！！本当にありがとうございました。

We participated as a pair. They took us to various spots at our own pace, allowing us to enjoy everything thoroughly. They also provided tips for snorkeling in advance, which made us feel secure about joining.

２人で参加させて頂きました。
私達のペースに合わせて、色んなスポットを回ってくださり、じっくり楽しむことができました。
シュノーケリングのコツなども事前に教えて頂き、安心して参加することができました。

That day, the sea was rough, so instead of swimming towards where the sea turtles were, I swam in the relatively calm area, but I was able to see some really beautiful scenery!

その日は海が荒れててウミガメのいる方ではなくて比較的穏やかな方を泳いだのでウミガメに遭遇できなかったけどとっても綺麗な景色を見させていただきました！

I couldn't meet the sea turtles, but the guide was kind and attentive, and I was able to enjoy the ocean. Next time for sure! Thank you again.

Personally, I thought the weather was nice, but it seems the conditions were actually not great. However, I was able to see the sea turtles! ♥ I was thrilled to see them munching on seaweed and coming up to the surface for air up close.

I participated alone, but since it was a small group experience, I received attentive care and had a very enjoyable time. (Thank you for worrying with me about the commotion when my return flight was canceled.)

I recommend this for solo travelers, couples, groups, and families. Now I have dreams of trying diving next time!

私てきには良いお天気だったけど、実はイマイチなコンデションだったようですが、会えましたー！ウミガメさん♥もしゃもしゃと海藻を食べてる様子や、海面に出て息継ぎをする場面も間近に見れて感激でした。
一人で参加でしたが、少人数での体験なので、きめ細やかに対応していただき、とても楽しい時間が過ごせました。（帰りの飛行機が欠航になる騒ぎにも一緒に心配していただきありがとうございました）
一人旅にも、カップル、グループ、ファミリー、みんなにおすすめです。今度はダイビングしてみたいって夢が広がりました！

On a certain day in August 2023,
This was my second time snorkeling, and I had various concerns, but personally, I was able to finish without any particular problems. I was able to see two sea turtles clearly and got some great photos taken. I think if you listen carefully to what the guide says and put it into practice, you can really enjoy it, but it seems not everyone is able to do so. The guide teaches tips quite thoroughly, but whether you can put them into practice seems to depend on yourself. However, the guide also puts in a lot of effort.

There were a total of seven customers.

Flow: Pickup → Toilet at the site → Snorkeling gear rental → Explanation → Photo session → Guide helps put on fins → Check if it's okay to enter the sea → Start → Look for sea turtles → Photo session → Look for sea turtles → Photo session → ... → Return to the beach → Guide helps remove fins → Return snorkeling gear → Tea? → Shower & change in the changing room → Go home

Problems that occurred:
- There was someone who couldn't help but breathe through their nose, causing their goggles to rise.
- There was someone who couldn't follow the instructions and was guided by the guide for a while because they couldn't breathe correctly.
- Someone seemed to have been kicked while swimming behind another person.
- There was someone who had trouble getting into the camera angle of the guide's camera.
- There was someone who found the vest a bit too big and difficult to swim in. However, I think this is somewhat unavoidable since there are people of various body types.

The guide had a unique atmosphere and kept talking, so I was able to enjoy it even as a solo participant. By the way, there was no coffee time after the activity; instead, they served what seemed like the tea we used to drink in club activities at the end.

2023年8月某日。
シュノーケルは人生で2回目で色々不安でしたが、個人的には特に何の問題なく終わることができました。
ウミガメもしっかり２匹？見れましたし、バッチリ写真も撮ってもらうことができました。
ガイドさんの言うことをしっかり聞いて実践すれば満喫できると思いますが、必ずしもみんなができるわけではないようでした。
ガイドさんはかなり丁寧にコツなども教えてくれますが、実践できるかどうかは自分次第なところありそうです。
ただガイドさんもかなり頑張ってくれます。

全部で客は７人でした。

流れ：ピックアップ→現地でトイレ→シュノーケル貸与→説明→写真撮影→ガイドさんにフィンをつけてもらう→海に入って問題ないかチェック→開始→ウミガメ探す→写真撮影→ウミガメ探す→写真撮影→…→浜辺に帰る→ガイドさんにフィン外してもらう→シュノーケル返却→お茶？→シャワー&脱衣所で着替える→帰る

発生した問題：
・鼻で息をしてしまいどうしてもゴーグルが上がってしまう人がいた。
・説明通りにできず、正しく呼吸できずにガイドさんから少しの間指導されていた人がいた。
・人の後ろを泳ぎ、蹴られたっぽい人がいた。
・ガイドさんのカメラの射角になかなか入れない人がいた。
・チョッキが少し大きくて泳ぎづらかった？人がいた。しかし、これはある程度、いろんな体型の方がいるので仕方ない部分もあると思う。



ガイドさんは独特な空気感でずっと喋ってくれてるので1人参加でも楽しめました。
ちなみに、終わった後のコーヒータイム？的なものはなく、部活で飲んでたお茶？っぽいのが最後にふるまわれました。

Snorkeling in the crystal-clear blue sea was amazing. We encountered many fish and sea turtles, and everyone had a great time. The guide was also very kind and taught us carefully, which made swimming both safe and enjoyable.

透き通るような青い海でのシュノーケリングは最高でした。たくさんの魚とウミガメにも出会えて、皆んなで盛り上がりました。
ガイドさんも丁寧に優しく教えてくれて安心＆楽しく泳げました。

It was my first time snorkeling, and I had an amazing time! Swimming in the vast, beautiful ocean alongside many creatures, including coral, sea anemones, surgeonfish, and clownfish, was a truly happy experience. I was especially thrilled when I encountered a green sea turtle; I got to see it breathe right in front of me and even took a photo together! I was very happy. I enjoyed learning the names of the fish I saw, and the detailed instructions and tips provided at the beginning made me feel safe while swimming. I definitely want to enjoy the waters of Yakushima again!

初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、存分に楽しむことができました！広い綺麗な海で、サンゴやイソギンチャク、テングハギ、クマノミのほかたくさんの生物と一緒に泳げて幸せな時間でした。特にアオウミガメと遭遇した時は、目の前でカメが呼吸する様子を見れたり、2ショットを撮っていただけました！とても嬉しかったです。見えた魚のお名前を教えてもらいながら楽しめましたし、最初に注意事項やコツを丁寧に教えてくださって安心して泳げました。また、屋久島の海を堪能したいと思いました！

I was very lucky to see two sea turtles at the same time! The ocean was beautiful, and I was very satisfied to see various fish! The guide was also kind and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable! I wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

I had done a little snorkeling before, but I wasn't very good at it. However, they taught me in detail how to breathe and hold my mouth, and I realized that my self-taught methods weren't very effective.

I was able to swim closely with the sea turtles without going too far from the shore.

They took a lot of photos, so I have great memories of swimming up close.

It was a fun time.

シュノーケリングはすこしやったことがあってもあまり得意ではありませんでしたが、とても詳しく息の吐き方やくわえ方を教えていただき、自己流でやっていたのであまり上手くいかなかったことがわかりました。

岸からそれほど沖に行かなくてもウミガメとバッチリ泳げました。

たくさん写真を撮っていただけたので、すごく近くで泳ぐよい思い出もしっかり写っていました。

楽しい時間でした。

I participated with my husband and our two sons, who are in the second year of junior high and sixth grade! The explanations were very thorough, and we were able to enjoy it as a family. It was a shame we couldn't see the sea turtles, but we saw a lot of cute fish! I got seasick and had to take a break, but they were very attentive and I was able to participate until the end. My sons seemed to have a lot of fun and said they want to do it again! They took many photos, and it became a wonderful memory. It was a valuable experience. Thank you very much!

私、主人、中2・小6の息子と4人で参加させて頂きました！説明もとても丁寧にして下さり、家族で楽しむことができました。
ウミガメが見れなかったのは残念でしたが、可愛い魚を沢山見れました！
私が波に酔ってしまい、途中でダウンしてしまったのですが、すごく気にかけて下さり、最後まで参加する事が出来ました。
息子達もとても楽しかったようで、またやりたい‼︎と話してました。

Due to the passing of the typhoon, the water clarity wasn't great, but I could see that the guides were attentive to safety, which made it enjoyable and reassuring for families with children. We got to see sea turtles and various fish, so overall, I was very satisfied.

台風一過のため、海の透明度はイマイチでしたが、案内の方が安全に配慮されていたのがわかったので、子連れでも安心して楽しめました。
ウミガメにも会え、色々な魚も見ることができて結果的に大満足でした。

I was worried about whether I could go snorkeling because a typhoon was approaching, but I was able to snorkel at a calm spot! It was cloudy, but the water was incredibly clear, and I was able to see various fish. I even encountered two turtles and was very happy to swim close to them! The staff carefully explained how to use the equipment and gave tips before we started, so I felt safe while snorkeling. Thank you very much!

I experienced snorkeling!! The way they taught me how to put it on was very efficient and easy to understand, starting from the basics. This was the most enjoyable snorkeling experience I've had so far!!

Due to the impact of the typhoon, we had to give up on entering the sea turtle spot. It's understandable because of the natural conditions, but it's a shame that we couldn't meet the sea turtles. Other than that, the staff was very attentive and taught our family, who are beginners at snorkeling, with great care, allowing us to enjoy the experience with a lot of peace of mind.

台風の影響で、ウミガメさんスポットへの入水は断念。
自然条件が原因だから仕方ないけど、結局、ウミガメさんに会えずそれだけが残念。
その他は、シュノーケリング初心者家族の私たちに、とにかく丁寧に教えて下さって、対応して下さり、とても安心して楽しむ事ができました。

The explanations were clear and easy to understand, even for beginners, so I felt comfortable taking on the challenge. I thought I would be able to relax while floating and slowly gazing at the underwater scenery, but I was surprised to encounter so many sea creatures! The weather was great too!!

The colorful fish, with their vivid yellows, oranges, and blues, were adorable. I was super lucky to see a pair of large amberjacks leisurely swimming around! I also got to meet a sea turtle (a rare one called a hawksbill turtle)♪ Watching it swim gracefully in the water was incredibly soothing.

I was enjoying my first snorkeling experience in the perfect conditions of the calm blue sea and sky when, just before getting back to shore, I encountered a baby green sea turtle in the shallow water. It elegantly passed right in front of me!! It added a wonderful memory to my day. Thank you very much!!!

初心者でもわかりやすい丁寧な説明だったので、安心してチャレンジすることができました。ぷかぷかと浮かんでゆっくりと海中を眺められたらリラックスできるな～と思っていましたが、たくさんの海のいきものたちに会えてびっくりしました！そして天気もよくて最高でした！！

鮮やかな黄色やオレンジやブルーが印象的だった色とりどり魚たちはかわいかったな～。大きなイトヒキアジのペアがのんびりと回遊していたを見られたのは超ラッキーでした！そしてウミガメ（貴重なタイマイっていう名前）にも会えたよ♪海の中を気持ちよさそうに泳いでいる姿にとても癒されましたｗ

穏やかな青い海と空で絶好のコンディションで初シュノーケリングを堪能できたな～とおもっていたら、さらに浜に上がる寸前の浅瀬でなんとアオウミガメの子供と遭遇。私の目の前を優雅に通り過ぎていきました！！最後に良き思い出が追加されました。ありがとうございました！！！

I booked a snorkeling session because I struggle with equalizing my ears, but I quickly changed it to an introductory diving experience, assuring me that they would teach me properly. This was actually my fourth time diving, but for the first time, I was able to dive smoothly without any pain from not being able to equalize my ears! It's important to equalize before it starts to hurt! Thanks to following that advice and not rushing, I was lucky enough to encounter sea turtles twice! Thank you so much to the guide! ☆

耳抜きの下手さからシュノーケルを予約したのですが、きちんと教えますので大丈夫ですよと急遽体験ダイビング変更しました。実は体験ダイビング４回目でしたが、今回初めて一度も耳抜きが出来ずに痛い！ということなくスムーズにダイビングすることが出来ました。痛くなる前に前に耳抜きが大切です！の教えを守り焦らず行うことが出来たお陰もあり？！ウミガメに二回も遭遇することも出来てラッキーでした！ガイドさん、本当にありがとうございました☆

Thank you for allowing me to participate in the snorkeling activity. I wanted to enjoy the last day to the fullest, so I joined the snorkeling session at 8:30. From the phone call the day before, I felt very welcomed and was able to participate with peace of mind. When we met on the day, the guide was cheerful and friendly, which made it easy to enjoy the sea. I was able to encounter sea turtles and many fish, and thanks to that, I returned home very satisfied on my last day. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in checking the ferry schedule and the bus times. I would definitely like to request your services again when I visit Yakushima. この度はシュノーケルに参加させていただきありがとうございます。
最終日最後まで楽しみたくて8時半からのシュノーケルに参加させてもらいました。
前日のお電話からとても感じがよく安心して参加することが出来ました。
当日お会いした際も明るくて気さくなガイドさんで、心地よく海を楽しむ事が出来、また海亀やたくさんの魚たちと出会えてお陰様で最終日も大満足して帰れました。
帰りのフェリーの時間も気にかけて、バスの時刻も調べてくださっていてお心遣いに感謝です。

I was very nervous during my first snorkeling experience, but I was able to relax and enjoy it because the instructor taught me kindly and patiently.
