It was a really nice experience and very romantic and tranquil. Star gazing was really fun. As person, who lives in a big city in Europe, I don't get the chance to see so many stars. Guide was very friendly and savvy.

Ride a kayak out under the starry night. You may even see shooting stars in the quiet air.
A Sky Full of Stars
Paddle a kayak through Iriomote Island's nighttime mangroves under a star-filled sky. Observe 84 out of 88 constellations, including the Southern Cross (January-June) and the Summer Triangle with the Milky Way (July-September). It's a perfect spot for stargazing with minimal light pollution.

Guests staying in the Uehara area in western Iriomote Island are eligible for transportation service. However, transportation is not available for guests staying in the following distant areas: Ōhara, Hotel Eco Village, Jungle Hotel Painumaya, Hoshidate (Hoshidate Hotel), Sonai (Island Hotel), and Shirahama (Uminchu no Ie). Please arrange your own transportation, such as a rental car, to reach Iriomote Nature School.

Those who do not wear a life jacket on the boat, those with impaired or no vision, those who cannot move their limbs normally. (Please consult us if you have epilepsy, hypertension, developmental disorders, or other medical conditions.) - Please do not consume alcohol before the tour. Participation while hungover is also strictly prohibited.
- If you have tattoos, please ensure that your back and other areas are covered. Being shirtless is not allowed. (Tattoos on hands, arms, legs, and neck are acceptable.) When swimming, if you have tattoos on your upper body, please wear a T-shirt.
