My husband and I loved our ride at Waimea. Our guides Jamie and Julie were fun and made my husband (who was a first time rider) very comfortable on his horse. Jamie shared so much of his knowledge of the island with us while we were riding to and from the waterfall for which we were very grateful. The swim at the waterfall was gorgeous and refreshing. A wonderful experience overall and absolutely worth it! Highly recommend!

We had such a great time on the zipline tour and would definitely do it again. The guides made us feel safe and instructed us on everything, especially since it was our first time. From our check in contact with Jeremy, our driver, to our trail guides, the guys were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The UTVs and all other equipment are top rate and inspire confidence. I have off road experience but we got my wife experienced and she did the initial 4 wheelin. She was thrillin and grinning. I have the video to prove it. We took in a lot of spectacular views and scenery. Cruising through the different climate zones was interesting and fun. There were a few, almost “oh shhhh” moments, that made the trip thrilling.
Our guys went out of their way to find us fresh tree ripened fruit. We sampled and took home some Strawberry Guavas and Pineapple Guavas. So delicious.
We were a family group of 5. The oldest is 72 and the youngest is 10 years old.
We agreed, we would all do this tour again. Thanks again Kohala UTV.

Our guide, John, was very patient with me. I've had zero experience riding an ATV but he took the time to make sure I was comfortable while encouraging me to do the solo ride (I was also given the option to switch to a two-seater). I'm so grateful because I had the best time and wish it could go on longer. We drove through the beautiful Umauma property -- rolling green gentle slope with a gorgeous view of the ocean and a sea of cows (yes, cows, that John had to persuade to move to give the riders more room to drive thru). We took a break at the watering hole where my son and husband enjoyed a cool dip near a low waterfall and enjoyed a quick snack. Thank you, John, for making it fun, adventurous and exciting!

Fantastic tour for folks looking for an easy-paced ATV tour with insights into a working Hawaiian ranch. We had a great time as a family with elementary and high school aged kids and really enjoyed our first ATV adventure. Hosts are really welcoming and very knowledgeable of the local Hawaiian farming, trees, fruits and the Hamakua coast. This is not a thrill ride, and yet you come away with the experience of a lifetime. They really go over and beyond to accommodate the tour to your pace, preference and highlight the best of Mauka to Makai (Mountain to Sea), not to forget the breathtaking views of the coastline! We would highly recommend the tour for families and special kudos to our hosts - this tour would not be half as fun without them!

They were all so much fun.
We had a blast from the very start. Our tour was a small one with us and one other couple. We went on the first tour of the morning and it was beautiful. This isn’t a quick ride, you actually get a lot of time and amazing views to see.
Your not moving slow and are allowed to put some pressure on the gas. Make sure you follow their instructions and stay with the group and you will have the best time. We stopped at a waterfall and had some water and snack, our grandkids pulled out their lunchables and had the best picnic. I can’t thank our guides enough for the most amazing experience and for finding us some sugarcane to show our grandkids and let them try it.
We rode all over, learned some awesome history and played with sleeping grass. ( I can’t remember the actual name) the kids were shown a game where they throw this little fuzzy thing and play tag. We laughed so hard and got muddy.
Best time ever. This is a must do! Please make sure you show your appreciation at the end. They don’t ask for tips but they sure deserve them.

I tried to change to outstanding but it wouldn’t let me. We had a great time and really enjoyed our self. Easy check in. Very accommodating and very knowledgeable of the plants trees fruit etc. They went out of there way to show us and share information. My husband and I would recommend them. Good job.

ここは間違いなくATVに乗るのに最高の場所の一つでした。私たち夫婦はアメリカ中を旅しており、いつもATVに乗っていますが、ここはいつまでも記憶に残る場所です。幸運なことに、雨の後に訪れたので、泥だらけで泥遊びには完璧な条件でした！私たちの体のどの部分も泥で覆われていて、本当に楽しみました。これはぜひおすすめです！滝の部分も可愛らしく、冷たい水に入る価値がありました。
This was by far one of the best places to go with ATVs. My husband and I have been all over the states and always ride ATVs and this was one we will always remember. Luckily we came after it rained and it was so muddy and perfect conditions for muddin!! There wasn't an inch on our bodies that wasn't covered in mud and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend this! The waterfall part was adorable and worth getting in the freezing water.

8歳の子供と一緒にこのツアーに参加しましたが、とても楽しかったです。景色は素晴らしく、スタッフも親切でした。時速8〜10マイルのカジュアルなライドだったので、ATVの興奮を求める方には向いていません。
I went along with my 8yr old and had a good time on this tour. The views were awesome and the staff was friendly. It was a casual ride at 8-10mph so not for the ATV excitement seekers.
