Going to the luau was a great way to kick off our trip to Hawaii learning about the history and culture, traditions and customs. Staff were attentive, meal was varied to allow for local cuisine and picky eaters in the group ( who knew Chick nuggets and Mac was customary but a fan fav for the kids!). Banana bread delicious. The show entertaining and ambiance pretty overlooking the water.

From our check in contact with Jeremy, our driver, to our trail guides, the guys were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The UTVs and all other equipment are top rate and inspire confidence. I have off road experience but we got my wife experienced and she did the initial 4 wheelin. She was thrillin and grinning. I have the video to prove it. We took in a lot of spectacular views and scenery. Cruising through the different climate zones was interesting and fun. There were a few, almost “oh shhhh” moments, that made the trip thrilling.
Our guys went out of their way to find us fresh tree ripened fruit. We sampled and took home some Strawberry Guavas and Pineapple Guavas. So delicious.
We were a family group of 5. The oldest is 72 and the youngest is 10 years old.
We agreed, we would all do this tour again. Thanks again Kohala UTV.

Fantastic tour for folks looking for an easy-paced ATV tour with insights into a working Hawaiian ranch. We had a great time as a family with elementary and high school aged kids and really enjoyed our first ATV adventure. Hosts are really welcoming and very knowledgeable of the local Hawaiian farming, trees, fruits and the Hamakua coast. This is not a thrill ride, and yet you come away with the experience of a lifetime. They really go over and beyond to accommodate the tour to your pace, preference and highlight the best of Mauka to Makai (Mountain to Sea), not to forget the breathtaking views of the coastline! We would highly recommend the tour for families and special kudos to our hosts - this tour would not be half as fun without them!

They were all so much fun.
We had a blast from the very start. Our tour was a small one with us and one other couple. We went on the first tour of the morning and it was beautiful. This isn’t a quick ride, you actually get a lot of time and amazing views to see.
Your not moving slow and are allowed to put some pressure on the gas. Make sure you follow their instructions and stay with the group and you will have the best time. We stopped at a waterfall and had some water and snack, our grandkids pulled out their lunchables and had the best picnic. I can’t thank our guides enough for the most amazing experience and for finding us some sugarcane to show our grandkids and let them try it.
We rode all over, learned some awesome history and played with sleeping grass. ( I can’t remember the actual name) the kids were shown a game where they throw this little fuzzy thing and play tag. We laughed so hard and got muddy.
Best time ever. This is a must do! Please make sure you show your appreciation at the end. They don’t ask for tips but they sure deserve them.
Mahalo for giving our grandkids and us the best experience and memories.

This was our first luau experience and it did not disappoint! We were all very pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful location, the delicious food, and the spectacular show. It was really entertaining!
Just one thing I found odd was that the Mai Tais felt "virgin". I am a very light drinker, and I get tipsy with 2 glasses of wine, but I had 5 Mai Tais and I was completely sober... weird. They were delicious though! That's why I had 5 :)

Good venue and parking was easy to find. Plentiful food with a lot of variety and a beautiful view with the water. The islander Breeze Luau was everything we expected and more. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that Covid restrictions were in place and the experience was not compromised. Each party had their own table that was 6 feet apart. The food was fantastic and fresh! The drinks were good as well! And the star of the show was the music, dancers and the master of ceremonies! They all really put their aloha into the show! Thank you for a great experience.

We decided on this luau -from many- because they were family friendly and the other reviews. They were right, we had a blast. The staff were so accommodating to my daughter (1.5yo). She loved the show and even tried to Hula. We were also celebrating my moms 77th birthday and she loved it too. The best buffet of hawaii's essential plates and desserts too. I would definitely would go back.

A lot of people will complain about this tour if they don’t see lava and that’s on them. If you need to see lava, do your research and book appropriately. I would have booked a waterfalls or other tour but it was a great family experience and the pilot Wesley was great.

The experience at the ATV on the Hamakua Coast was well worth it. The ATV’s were well taken care of, safe, and fun to ride in. The views around the ranch were a mix of everything from ponds, to cattle, to the beautiful Hamakua coast. The best part about the experience was the tour guides. They kept the experience fun, treated us like family, and shared a wealth of Hawaiian knowledge. The 750 acre farm is beautiful, with spectacular ocean views. However the real highlight are the hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the land and Hawaii culture and history so you learn while enjoying the scenery. Cherry on top is supporting a local business that is truly part of the island. My entire family from ages 11-77 loved it. Highly recommend.

ATVツアーはとても楽しかったです！ツアーはワイピオ・オン・ホースバック農場から始まりました。最初は丘を登り、池を通り過ぎて水を見渡せる美しい場所まで行きました。息子は敷地内の馬や牛を通り過ぎるのが大好きでした。その後、水辺の崖に向かい、そこも美しかったです！ガイドの方々はとても親切で、ハワイの生活について興味深いことを教えてくれました。このツアーを強くお勧めします！ちょっとしたアドバイスですが、最後にはかなり汚れるので、他の予定がある場合は予備の服を持っていくと良いでしょう。
We had a blast on the ATV tour! The tour started at the Waipi'o on Horseback farm. We started off going uphill, past a fish pond and up to a beautiful spot overlooking the water. My son loved passing all of the horses and cows on the property. Then we headed down to the cliffs by the water which was beautiful! The guides were so nice and told us some interesting things about life on Hawaii. I highly recommend this tour! Quick tip- You will get quite dirty by the end, so bring some extra clothes if you have other plans after.
