Lanai half day trek with ferry ride.
投稿者: Mike and Damaris , 2024/09/08Lanai and Lanai City remind me of a Hawaiian version of Mayberry. Everyone knows one another and the slower pace and smaller scale was refreshing and brought back memories of my own childhood. Our guide, Joshua was a native and we enjoyed talking about the island, the State of Hawaii, and the state of the current political situation.
The wife and I enjoyed ourselves as we trekked across old pineapple fields seeing quail, turkeys, pheasant and deer. Their "Garden of the Gods" was a trip to a Martian landscape and afforded us a great view of Molokai. My only gripe is that we ran out of time and I wanted to see more.

Day trip to Lanai
投稿者: Bob, 2024/08/31Can't say enough good things about the day with captain Turtle and crew. The crew was so attentive and fun. The breakfast and coffee that was served on way out to island was delicious. What really impressed me was that the crew remembered everyone by name thru out trip. The island of Lanai was as beautiful as the pictures. On a personal note I'd want to thank the crew especially Steve. I had an accident in the water and had to be taken to hospital. Steve went with my family and never left. Fortunately I was able to travel back and take boat home with captain Turtle. The boat and crew were amazing. If you want to book a trip to Lanai I strongly recommend Trilogy with captain Turtle.

Day Trip to Lana’i

Our awesome tour guide, Clive regaled us with stories of his life there on Lana’i and took us to the Garden of the Gods (looks like Mars landscape), then checked out Shipwreck Beach, visited the Cat Sanctuary and then spent the rest of the afternoon in Hulopo’e Beach.Thank you to Clive for bring friendly, knowledgeable and making us feel like ohana!

ラナイ島行きフェリーチケット 古代ハワイアンの伝説が残る島へ＜片道／マアラエア港発着＞
ハプニングも込みで最高の想い出です
投稿者: タンタン, 2024/06/05ラナイ・キャット・サンクチュアリ目当ての日帰り旅で、朝6時30分マウイ島発、夕方17時半ラナイ島発の便を利用しました。
行きも帰りも乗り場で予約時のメールを見せるか、名前を名乗るとすぐにスタッフがタブレットで確認して発券してくれます。船内は客席も十分にあり、ハワイのローカル局と思われるTVを放送しています。
行きはあまり感じなかったのですが、帰りは夕方で波が高くなるため大きく船が揺れ、ひどい船酔いを経験しました。家族いわく一瞬外洋に出る部分があるので潮の流れが一瞬で変わってしまうそうです。
すぐに「気分が悪い」とスタッフに伝えると、袋を渡され「デッキに出るといい」と指示されました。私の後にも続々と乗客が出てきたので、かなりの確率で船酔いが起こると思われます。酔い止めを事前に飲んでおくのをお勧めします。
いざデッキに出るとトイレにまでたどり着くことも困難で、ずっと袋に顔を突っ込んだまま30分ほどうずくまっていましたが、船長と思しきクルーの方が「これを首の後ろにつけると気持ちがいいよ」とペットボトルの水をくださいました。あいにくずっと気分は悪いままでしたが、船酔いする乗客にクルーも完全に慣れっこな様子で、皆落ち着いて優しく対応してくれたことにホッとしました。
壮絶な体験ではありましたが、ハプニングも込みでラナイ島行きは最高の想い出で必ず再訪したい場所になりました。飛行機でのアクセスも可能なようですが、船酔い覚悟でまた絶対フェリーで臨みたいです。

Great day trip to another island!
投稿者: Jessie, 2024/06/04Michael (Mike) was our tour guide and created an exceptional experience for us. He was very welcoming, building rapport almost seemed second nature for him. He knew how to keep the audience engaged during the entire experience. The ride to pick up and start the event was just about the right length of time. I especially liked the fact that he could use a microphone while driving and that everyone in the vehicle could hear him. My family had our eyes opened on the lush landscape, history, and culture that Hawaii has to offer. Mike ensured that every angle was covered, and I honestly wish we could have strapped an audio recorder to him so we could capture all that he had to share. We all had ample time at the stops for swimming and pics. Mike was even nice enough to make an additional jump off the waterfall cliff with my go pro as I wasn’t brave enough to take that plunge. Our only constructive feedback on this event would be to tighten up the “meet up” process at the local shops. We were unsure where or how we needed to check in. Once we saw the white van arrive with the logo we understood.

Great Time!

He also helped us out with shuttles to the cat farm and back to the beach. We visited shipwreck beach and garden of the gods as well as being told a lot about other places we saw, the history and current events.

Our guide actually extended our tour and took us to the cat sanctuary and made sure that we all had a great time. I fully enjoyed and recommend this tour. Lanai is very beautiful and I could not imagine seeing it with anyone other than our guide.

In the future tell your clients to get the ParkWhiz app on their phone You can pay for close up parking on this app. The code reader at the dock is crappy. Our Lanai on site guide, Russ was a wealth of information and had as much fun with us and the other couple as we did with him and the tour. A nice day was had by all.

Loved the tour, well planned and executed

This is also an excellent opportunity for whale spotting, I did a whale spotting tour as well and this one was better.
The slide is awesome and everything is very family friendly.

投稿者: Denise and Melanie, 2024/01/31This day trip to Lanai’i was an experience my wife and I will never forget! Captain Joe and his crew are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and attentive! On the way we were able to spot a manta ray just as we left the dock and several whales on the way to Lanai’i where we got off the boat and snorkeled. We were also served a delicious lunch! Check out the photos the photographer takes too. She is awesome!
We’d like to send a special shout-out to Coby aka “Utah” who wins the Kindest Crew-member award for ensuring I was safe and still able to participate so my wife could fully enjoy snorkeling! We can’t tell you how much that meant to us, thanks again!

Great crew!!
投稿者: Amanda, 2024/01/06The experience was amazing! We were super well fed, the crew was so knowledgeable, we saw so many whales along the way, and had a great time!
The captain was super friendly and was great at keeping everyone on track for time. Chad really went the extra mile by learning all of the passenger’s names. Mark gave lovely whale knowledge and some history of the Trilogy. Justin made sure we were always with a drink and was extremely polite!
Will definitely be doing this experience again!

Easy way to see Lana'i
投稿者: Beth H, 2023/11/28The early morning ferry was a smooth ride to the island. We were met by our guide, Russ, for the half day tour and along with another couple made our way into town to pick up a light breakfast at the local coffee spot. We stopped at Garden of the Gods which is like being on a whole different planet. The views were outstanding! The red dirt road out the GoG is rough and we were glad to have someone who was familiar with the area driving. We went on to see Shipwreck Beach. Again the dirt roads out to the beach were rough and even the Jeep tours from the Four Seasons were going at a snails pace while we manuvered our way around then. We parked in an area just shy of Shipwreck Beach where our guide's family had once had land, where some of the buildings still stand and walked the quiet beach strewn with old lava flows and had a good view of the wreck. Russ showed us how to tell if a coconut washed up on the beach was still good or waterlogged and even opened one up for us...it was a little old but still delicious. The drive through town was short and sweet...there's not a lot of town to see...and he dropped us off to explore the area. We, unfortunately didn't make it up to the Cat Sanctuary but we did hire a shuttle (he called and made the arrangements for pick up, $10/person) and went to Hulopoe Beach for the rest of the day. While at the beach I recommend following the beach to the east and checking out the many tidepools then walk just a short distance to see Sweetheart Rock. The walk back to the harbor is only about 10-15 minutes but get there early to get a good seat on the top deck. The ferry ride back was a little rougher compared to the morning. It was a great day and Lana'i, at least to me, is a must do because of the super chill vibe and aloha compared to any of the other islands.

Great Excursion
投稿者: Andrew, 2023/10/19The highlight of our trip. The ride over, while lengthy due to the fires in Lahaina, was great. The captain was funny, his name was Turtle. We saw dolphins and the snorkeling on Lanai was awesome. The trip was worth the cost, without even taking in to consideration the great lunch we were served. That chicken is amazing. You also get to visit a pretty exclusive beach, it’s shared with the Four Seasons Lanai, that is nice because your group is almost all the only people out there. Next trip we will definitely do this, or a trip to Molokini Crater. Either way, we will definitely use Trilogy again. They are fantastic.

More than Hoped For!

It was an early morning to catch the first ferry of the day. Plenty of seating, plenty of room for our bags. We were off to Lana’i.
Greeted at the docks by our guide, Russ. He went above and beyond. We had bottled water and pastries waiting for us.
We hit shipwreck beach, Garden if the gods, and the Cat Sanctuary. Which is what I expected, but we also had great photo spots, local history and stories. Got to see the beautiful Lanai City. Tour even allowed us time to walk the city, have lunch, do a little shopping. Lastly we got dropped off at the beach, which was the icing on the cake. Beautiful, quiet, safe beach. Great snorkeling. Great tide pool to relax in.
I hate leaving a great review because the whole experience was so wonderful, I don’t want to spoil it. But, because of days like this one, I have so much love and respect for this island and its people. This day was my dream come true. I look forward to returning to the island of Lana’i.

Russ was a great tour guide, went above & beyond for us.
投稿者: Vicki M., 2023/10/12The ferry ride from Maui to Lanai was great. Our tour guide, Russ, met us as we disembarked from the ferry. He provided a great deal of information as he drove us to the different sights on Lanai. After lunch, he dropped us off at the Lanai Cat Sanctuary. We spent a full two hours at the sanctuary interacting with all of the different felines. As a cat lover, I was in heaven. It's very heart-warming to see people making a difference in the lives of the feline and bird populations of Lanai. Russ, then picked us up and returned us to the ferry for our return trip back to Maui. It was a long day (saw the sunrise & sunset) but worth it.
