Great Ride
投稿者: Debo, 2022/08/19Great ride. Easy and convenient. Wish I could park a car as well as the captain maneuvered the boat!! The reservation said I could show tickets on my phone but they insist you go to the ticket booth and get the paper tickets. No big deal but we wasted time in line so wish we had known. If you want to sit outside on upper deck, get there much earlier than they recommend to be in line early enough on a full boat ride.

Amazing experience!
投稿者: J Yeung, 2022/08/11I booked this tour for myself, my husband, and my six year old son. It was well worth it. Captain Travis and his crew were consistently attentive, well organized, and kind. The snorkeling spot was fantastic as well. The food was GREAT as I was expecting just a wonder bread ham sandwich, a bag of chips, and a can of soda. Highly recommend - esp. just based on the crew alone and nothing else.

Review ferry schedules before you book a tour
投稿者: Fred, 2022/07/21Our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. Problem is with the booking agency. We booked a half day tour that turned out to be a on day that the coast guard had required maneuvers that cancelled the mid afternoon ferry from lanai to Maui. Veltra knew this months in advance but didn’t bother to change our schedule. They informed us that we would be back by 5:00 but given no other information we assumed that the ferry ride took that long. They repeated that we had a half day tour. Big problem if you have nothing to do for hours on lanai and/or have reservations on Maui at 6:00.
That’s half of it. If you read Veltra’s description of the tour it sounds like you’ll tour the town, the garden of the gods, the shipwreck beach, and more. No way, as our guide pointed out when we told him what we expected based on Veltras description. It’s a big island and you can’t fit all those places in a half day tour

Lonesome Lana’i
投稿者: Scott L, 2022/07/15The ferry was just fine but once on Lana’i there is little if nothing to do. There is one restaurant “the blue ginger” with ok food but surely order takers. There is no bar to grab a much needed drink. Two laps around the park and time to get a shuttle ride back. Two couples = $240 for ferry ride $80 for shuttle up and down the mountain, $50 for lunch = $370 bucks and 7 hours I’ll never get back.

投稿者: Harold W, 2022/07/05Aloha friends, we just completed our private guided tour of Lani, and we were very fortunate to have Joshua as our guide. This gentleman makes your visit an Amazing learning tour, and lets you know your are safe and welcomed on Lani.
The Island is privately owned and maintained, but is is an great tour experience in order really understand the Ancient Hawaiian culture and Survival skills. It is a beautiful place, and offers many photo opportunities.

Easy way to Lana’i
投稿者: Sherlocks, 2022/07/02Fast and easy, comfortable seating, and on time. Ferry is large enough so the ride is smooth. Available times are convenient for an all day visit, or for a couple hours of snorkeling. Parking at Lahaina Harbor was not easy due to construction but we found a parking lot several blocks away. Our first visit to Lana’i…very laid back and pretty.
The crew on board was friendly and efficient. Safety of the passengers was a priority. Booking the ferry was fast and easy, and a change of dates was easily done by phone. Thanks for the ferry ride!

Best Day Excursion!
投稿者: Shirley , 2022/06/26My family and I had the best experience. From the moment we stepped onto the boat, the crew was very attentive, friendly, and funny. They provided a great overview of the day activities and what we needed. They checked on us frequently and even provided a little history lesson on the nearby islands. We took about 1 hr boat ride over to Lanai. Once at Lanai, it was a 7 minute walk to the beach. The beach was amazing!!! We did some snorkeling, a short nature walk, and had some time to chill at the beach. The BBQ LUNCH was delicious! The boat ride back we enjoyed 2 cocktails and ice cream. The crew exceeded our expectations. I would definitely do this again! I felt like VIP. Book it! You won’t regret it

Nothing Extraordinary Than Expected
投稿者: Daisy, 2022/06/23It was just a normal ferry ride from Maui to Lanai that took about a 45 minute ride each way. The boat was not full so it was nice that you had some room to not have to sit next to someone. Though there was a line I didn't worry because there were plenty of seats. If you prefer not to be under the sun then sit inside otherwise if you want to feel the breeze and get some sun then sit upstairs.

They take you to a "private" beach and allow you to snorkel, hike, and provide a breakfast and lunch! There were other companies snorkeling around reefs but this company actually takes you onto the island!! We HIGHLY recommend! Captain Raquel and her crew were fantastic!

Learning about Lana’i
投稿者: W Funk, 2022/06/18We were met at the harbor with plenty of aloha from our guide Joshua. He had an intimate knowledge of the island. From its long history to now, Joshua knew it all. He explained how the ecosystem has evolved through the years. We went to a great store and picked up some ono poke and a loaf of guava bread (cake) Joshua recommended. He dropped us off at an awesome snorkeling beach near the harbor. We spent the rest of our day on that beautiful beach snorkeling and enjoying our lunch. You’ve got to buy the guava bread! The ferry trip was easy and it was a perfect time to catch a nap. Well worth our time and hard earned money.

投稿者: Chin family, 2022/06/11Our family truly enjoyed this tour of Lanai’i. It was made even better as we had Josh as our tour guide and he did an amazing job as our host on this breathtaking island. He made us feel right at home and was always making sure we were fine and asked us for our input on what we wanted to do / see on the island! He drove us to some very special places and told us wonderful stories about the Hawaiian culture on Lanai’i as well as current information about the island and its current population. He also made a special stop at the cat Sanctuary and our daughters were absolutely thrilled about this! Thank you Josh for making this experience most enjoyable and memorable for our family!

Grwart tour and tour guide on an island we’ve never been to before, Lanai !!!

Josh was is an extremely passionate guide who explains current and past customs and cultures on this small but interesting island. He was very amenable to making stops in town to shop and to go to the world famous cat sanctuary for my wife! We had time to take in the beauty of the coastline as well as the mountain ranges. This guided tour is one of the best we’ve taken and Josh made all the difference. Thanks Josh!

Smooth Sailing
投稿者: Judith , 2022/05/27The ferry ride to Lanai from Maui was on time, very organized, and smooth sailing at 6:45 in the morning. We spent the day in Lanai, and definitely worth it! Lanai was beautiful, and people there were all very friendly. The ferry ride going back to Maui from Lanai again on time. We didn't have to check-in again as we already have our boarding pass when we took it in the morning. Ride was good, wth a few rough spots as it was 5:30 in the afternoon, but I felt very safe. Will definitely do it again! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We were able to see "Sweetheart's Rock" from the most immaculate viewpoint. And I booked to come back at 5:30 I had to go all the way back to the kiosk lady and tell them we want to go on the early shuttle back That’s after I was in line I wish there was clear instructions or somebody would announce that while sitting there waiting for the shuttle and standing in line

Unforgettable
投稿者: Kamille, 2022/05/08It's called a snorkel tour but that title really falls short of everything involved. We had not one but two dolphin sightings. I'm not saying we saw a couple of them in the far distance. They were swimming right beside us, and there were literally dozens upon dozens of them jumping and spinning above the water. The beach at Lanai is peaceful and exclusive. The team set up games and activities for everyone to enjoy. Yes there's snorkeling but they are not assuming that everyone is into that. You wanna chill on the beach? You wanna play giant Jenga with the fam? You wanna walk up a nature trail? All covered. The short trail up to the cliff side is indescribable. After all of that they feed you a freshly prepared bbq lunch and they make certain that you don't leave hungry. The servers came by a half dozen times to make sure that everyone had enough food. I took the 630am tour in anticipation of afternoon winds because I tend to get motion sickness. I am not a morning person at all but considering the perfect conditions I had no regrets. The crew was attentive, friendly and considerate. I don't eat meat and I avoid gluten. I stupidly forgot to mention that in my booking, but they were still able to accommodate me on the spot with no hassle or judgement. If you've read this far and you still haven't booked, you'll be missing out on one of the best tours the island offers.

Aside from the wonderfully planned experiences, such as snorkeling a hike up to see Puu Pehe and a delicious lunch, we were met with extraordinary surprises as well! We were greeted by whales and dolphins! The voyage from Maui to Lanai was very enjoyable. The scenery of the ocean and islands around us, as well as the service on board with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The snorkeling was AMAZING.
