Great day trip!!
投稿者: Great day trip!!, 2022/04/14My family and I went to Lanai for a day trip. The beach was maybe a 10 minute walk from the harbor. Make sure to pack a cooler with drinks and snacks. The general store at the harbor has limited things. The Four Seasons is close by but the restaurant isn’t open to public like we thought. There are cabanas on the beach, but they are only reserved for hotel guests. If you have small children there is a lagoon on the opposite side of the beach that is calmer and cooler for children to play!! The boat ride was great. It was a little choppy coming back, but overall a great experience!!

Snorkel and Beach Day trip to Lanai
投稿者: Jerry, 2022/04/10The day with the Trilogy people was amazing. We had great weather with little wind for the trip over to the island. We were able to pick a pod of dolphins along the south shore of Lanai. Captain Raquel and her crew on April 8 onboard Trilogy IV took care of everything. They were active to check on everyone to be sure that all were doing well. Beach time on Lanai was incredible. Snorkel time over the reef in the middle of the bay allowed lots of fish viewing time. Crew was active to assist everyone into the water and was watchful as we were in the water to stay safe. Plantation lunch was excellent and was served comfortably in the Pavilion. Our return trip was comfortable in spite of the waves being more vigorous.
We have been to Lanai with other companies. Captain Raquel and her crew delivered incredible service and made the day very enjoyable.
Leave early to avoid traffic issues even if arriving for the 6:00AM check in. We parked in the Republic lot on Dickenson and had a short walk to the check in area.

Amazing day.
投稿者: Mike, 2022/04/03A great day of fun in the sun. The captain and crew were great, The captain stopped for whale watching on the cruise to the island. The snorkeling was awesome and the crew went over the equipment thourghly. I would recommend this trip to anyone headed to Maui.

One day trip to lanai
投稿者: Yari , 2022/04/01I booked a day trip to lanai with my family. I issued on doing a bit or research before hand as to what to expect once I landed in lanai. As I get to the booth to get my tickets for the ferry the lady who attended us was amazing at answering my questions. She told me I should of before hand rented a vehicle as where you dock is a little out of the way where you rent vehicle in order to enjoy the island. You also most reserve a spot to ride from the dock to the car rentals. She gave me contact numbers for me to call in order to see if there were any more available. Talk about stressful moments. While inside the ferry most of the vehicles were reserved and fortunately my last attempt was a success I was able to reserve a spot for transportation and rent a keep. Do your research before hand.
The group was amazing and very informative

Trip to Lana’i
投稿者: Jana, 2022/03/23Die Fähre nach Lana’i war pünktlich und gut. Jedoch war es unpraktisch, dass die gekauften Tickets zuerst gezeigt werden mussten und dann neue Tickets verteilt wurden anstatt, dass diese Online gezeigt werden konnten. Etwas flexiblere Rückreise wäre Praktisch, anstatt nur genau zu der Ausgewählten Zeit. Sonst war der Ausflug gut und hat sich gelohnt.

Lana Trekked Tour
投稿者: Pat, 2022/02/21My husband, daughter and myself went on the 3 1/2 hour tour. Bruce was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, not only showing us places on Lanai, but also giving us the history, customs, and pointing out the different trees, plants, and animals. We were also fortunate to see deer and whales. After the tour, we spent a couple of hours in Lanai City, having lunch and visiting the art galleries and stores. The half day tour was perfect, allowing us to go back to Maui on the 2:30 ferry. The only thing we wished we had more time on the island so we could have hiked some of the trails.

Definitely recommend!
投稿者: Lynn W., 2022/02/19Having been on snorkel tours to Molokini previously, we were happy to find this tour to Lanai for something different.
From the minute we stepped on the boat, we had a great time - the crew was great, the food was great, and we really liked being able to dock on Lanai and snorkel from the beach. We took part in the SNUBA activity and then hiked afterwards. It was great to have the lawn chairs, sun mats, sunscreen, and snorkel gear readily available as well.
The lunch provided at Trilogy's dock-side pavilion was fresh-cooked and delicious.
Our trip back to Maui was great with lots of whales sightings and we were able to stop periodically to watch them. We bought the photo package offered and whale photos were part of the package.
We would definitely recommend this snorkel tour!

Day trip to Lanai
投稿者: M Miller, 2022/02/19Our motivation to go to Lanai was to visit the cat sanctuary but it was so much more. We had a great view of whales breaching on the 45 minute ride to Lanai. Along with the other passengers, we pointed out where we saw whales. Reservation tickets were purchased online and boarding passes at the dock where we checked in. Everything went smoothly, the ferry left on schedule and brought us back on time. The trip to Lanai was one of the highlights of our stay on Maui and the ferry made it happen for us.

If you want to see Lanai, take this tour!
投稿者: KEA, 2022/02/19The tour of Lanai was amazing. Our guide, Clyde, customizes the tour based on his clients wishes, capabilities, etc. He was knowledgeable and shared the island’s stories. The island of Lanai is beautiful and has many distinct things to see (petroglyphs, Shipwreck Beach, native vegetation, Garden of the Gods and much more). We would not have had the same experience if we toured on our own. Take the tour with Clyde!

Great sailing trip to Lanai!
投稿者: Richard Howard, 2022/02/09Really enjoyed the day sailing to Lanai from Maui with Captain Turtle! The captain and his crew made it fun and a day of adventure. We did the Snuba when we got to Lanai and Shamus did a great job working with everyone and keeping things safe. Courtney, Shamus and Clay were great on the boat keeping us entertained and personally served everyone.
We saw whales, flying fish and some whitecaps which made for an adventurous trip back.

A hidden gem!
投稿者: Joe, 2022/01/20This tour is one of the most interesting and enjoyable activity one can take while on the island of Maui. The tour includes the Ferry from Lahaina Harbor to the Island of Lana’i. Once there we were greeted by our tour guide Bruce and off we went in a Chevrolet Suburban. Bruce was so knowledgeable and shared his experiences living on the island.
He shared the history of the island as well as the myths of the gods in the valley of the gods. We were able to see the entire island which has so many different highlights.
This was our second time we have taken this tour and I would highly recommend it for everyone. There is so much to see. A real gem. .

Super easy and fun way to get to a different island

Crew was friendly, ferry was clean, and it was just a fun way to see the whales---I suggest doing this than paying for a whale watching experience because we saw more whales here on our way to Lanai. Highly recommend.

A great day trip to a wonderful island paradise
投稿者: Scott H., 2022/01/08After years of annual vacations on Maui we finally planned a day-trip to Lanai. Out of respect for the native culture and not wanting to violate any sacred areas we decided to hire a local guide to show/drive us around. That was a great decision and great fun. We went all over the island hearing stories of the olden days and current events. If you are at all curious about how Maui (and other Hawaiian islands) looked and felt decades ago, than a trip to Lanai should be on your next itinerary. Like many other Maui adventures, you have get an early start as the first 45 minute Ferry run to the island leaves Lahaina at 6:30am. Enjoying sunrise on a boat in paradise can't be beat. We were greeted at the harbor by our tour guide, who has lived on the island for 20 years. He knew every inch, nook and cranny of the island. He told us about his growing up on the island, and stories old and new of life there.
After lunch in Lanai City we had time to shop in the few local shops and boutiques. Life is a much slower pace there, with way fewer cars and less people. We continued on our tour with a few more afternoon stops, ending at a beautiful beach a short walk to the harbor. We caught the last ferry back to Maui and enjoyed an evening ocean cruise back to Lahaina.
I would highly recommend a day trip and guided tour of Lanai. It's great fun and you never know who you might bump into on this unpretentious paradise island!
