Yoshi was wonderful! We can’t say enough about his hospitality, thoughtfulness, and knowledge. Not only did he take great care in making it a wonderful experience, he made sure we had outstanding pictures of our family in the best spots to remember it. We felt very safe driving in Haleakala knowing he had 20 years of experience behind him and this trip has easily taken the number one spot of our family adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the stars and constellations as well as the geography of the area. A day and evening well spent!

Very good pre-tour instructions and easy to receive the ferry tickets and tour voucher. The driver/guide was excellent, giving the small group choices on what to do. Love the places we visited and the stories told by the guide. Ample time to explore Lanai City before being driven to Hulopo'e Beach to explore - and close enough to walk back to the harbor to take the ferry back to Maui.

and crew were exceptional! They provided everything we needed for snorkeling and the how to’s, plus Island history. They provided a tasty breakfast sandwich on the way and then served us a delicious meal after snorkeling. The crew were amazing and friendly, providing exceptional service with pride and care. No exaggeration, we were treated like ROYALTY!! From the moment we arrived at check-in until we disembarked from the return ferry ride we experienced CONSTANT care and courtesy from the ferry crew and especially our trekker-drver/tour-guide Russ , who went to extraordinary lengths to ensure our comfort and enjoyment , always giving us plenty of time to explore and indulge at the many places we visited. He even surprised us by returning to the beach shortly before ferry departure time to offer us a ride over to the ferry dock, for which we gratefully accepted! To say that he went "above and beyond" would be an understatement.
And all the people we encountered in Lana'i City ( at cafe , gallery , stores ) were so friendly , kindly and hospitable towards us...we felt sincerely welcome , and thoroughly enjoyed our visit , and hope to return for a longer stay.
Our emphatic thanks to Russ ( he was there to greet us when we stepped off the ferry ) and the ferry crew , who were right on time and very professional , for helping us have a fabulous and very memorable visit to Lana'i !

Everything ran smoothly from our ferry ride to Lanai, to meeting our guide at the island harbour. We saw Shipwreck Beach and the Garden of the Gods, both worthwhile stops, and were introduced to the main beach park, some of the lovely expensive hotels, and a good look at Lanai City. We enjoyed our guide’s stories about growing up on Lanai, and we loved our free afternoon snorkelling on the excellent reef at the beach. The ride home in the ferry was pretty rough, but that’s to be expected on the afternoon rough and windy waters between Lanai and Maui. It was a very expensive day, in our opinion, and our guide sometimes repeated himself, just to keep the patter going. Nevertheless, we had a good day, and would recommend it to anyone with deep pockets, and a desire to experience Lanai.

気温29℃なのに防寒着を持っての集合だった。
さっそくハレアカラを目差して車は出発した。高地順応のために休憩を取りながらのハレアカラ行である。
1000mではスーパーマーケットに立ち寄り夕食の用意をした。
2000mではトイレタイムでアボカドのなっている木を写真に収めた
いいよ3000mの地点に到達したが空気を薄いと感じていた参加者もいた。
18時になって添乗員ヤマウチさんが薦めてくれた種々のポキの具材とご飯をポキ丼にして車内でいただいた。
暗くなったところで天体観察である。寒さの中、星や星座の説明を聞きながら天体観察させてもらった。ダウンコートを持って行ったのにも関わらず寒かった。手が悴んで感覚がなくなってきたのには驚いた。
ホテルへ帰ってきたのは22時半ころであったが、それにしても添乗員ヤマウチさんは多才で気が利いて、話が滑らかで子供を含めた観光客を半日以上もずっと飽きさせないで案内してくれたことには感謝している。

We boarded the Trilogy catamaran and saw humpback whales, ate a breakfast snack on way over to Lanai. We snorkeled and went on a nature hike. Later on we had a great lunch break at the pavilion at the small boat harbor. Our captain and crew served us very well throughout the trip. On sail back to Maui we had adult beverages and ice cream. It was first class and recommended trip for everyone

マウイ島は初めてだったのですが、いろいろな情報を教えて下さったり、マウイ島以外のお話なんかもたくさんしてくださいました。
また山頂では、沈んでいく夕日を見ながらの食事は、経験した者にしか味わえない贅沢な気分でした。
シチュエーション毎に流れる音楽の演出はヤマピーさんらしく粋なはからいに脱帽です。
特に星空を眺めている時に流れた曲は、感動して泣いちゃいました(^◇^;)
おもてなしが半端ないです。
これからの人生を自分らしく生きる勇気をいただきました♡
マウイ島に行かれたら、ぜーーーったいオススメのツアーですよ。
