Walking around the Nagoya Castle wearing the kimono was an amazing experience that we will never forget.
We love it every bit of it.
I would recommended to you to all my family and friends.

地図を見れば迷うことはありませんが、狭い道を入っていく必要があります。東福寺の境内からは外れています。一番北の端の塔頭です。きれいなトイレ有り。着替えスペース有り。座禅の前には、詳しい説明があります。警策で叩かれるのは、希望者のみです。肩では無くその下なのであまり痛くはありませんでした。５✕４＝20回叩かれました。１回に左右２回ずつ叩かれます。
季節も良くなってきましたので、きれいな庭を眺めながらの座禅とヨガは最高でした。うぐいすのさえずり、木の葉と水の音、良いお線香の香りがありました。
難点をあげると、少ないですが、一般の参拝客もたまに来るので、見られることと、近くの日赤病院のピポーピーポーがたまに聞こえることです。

舞妓の衣装を着るのはとても興味深かったです。正しく着るのは大変な作業で、特にメイクをするのは大変です！スタッフはとても親切でプロフェッショナルでした。写真も素晴らしく、京都での素晴らしい時間を思い出させてくれます！

It was very interesting to try Maiko dress on. It is a lot of work to dress properly and especially to apply make-up! The staff is very-very nice and professional. The pictures are cool and will remind us about great time in Kyoto!

ラウンジでゆるーく楽しんだ後の狂言、楽しかったです。今回の演目の梟ははじめてでしたが、随所、笑わせていただきました。
はじめてという友人を連れて行ったのですが、最初はおっかなびっくりでしたがラウンジの雰囲気を見て驚いてましたが最終的にはリラックスして楽しんでくれていました。写真タイムがあるのも面白くていいですね。舞台が終わった後に、ファンの方と写真を一緒に撮られている大藏さんも気さくな感じで素敵でした。

舞妓さんと素晴らしい時間を過ごしました！茶道や舞妓の舞を見るのはとても興味深く、富津世さんとの会話が芸妓や舞妓の芸術をより深く理解する手助けになりました！本当にありがとうございました！

We had a great time with Maiko! Watching tea ceremony and Maiko dance was very interesting and having a conversation with Tomitsuyo-san helped us to better understand the art of Geiko and Maiko! Thank you so much!

They are tucked away on a side street; look for an illuminated sign! They will offer to up sale you on backgrounds, a book with your pictures, CD, half wig vs full that will show lines in the pictures. They have soaps, sinks, and hairdryers to clean up after. The kimonos are gorgeous, and the pictures are keepsake.

私たちは二人とも大好きでした！やった！衣装を着るのは素晴らしく、ポーズをとるのも楽しかったです。とても良く扱ってもらい、すごく楽しかったです。

日本での文化活動の中で、舞妓とのお茶の時間が最も思い出に残っています。舞妓はゲストに一種類のお茶と伝統的な和菓子を提供するだけですが、その体験は依然として特別でした。ゲストはまず舞妓によってお茶がどのように作られるかを目の当たりにし、その後に伝統的な舞踊が披露されます。舞妓の優雅さと気品が完璧に表現されています。彼女の母親も舞妓や芸者の生活について基本的な事実を説明するのがとても上手です。お茶の時間の最後には舞妓とのインタビューがあり、ゲストは質問をすることができます。

Among all our cultural activities in Japan, the tea time with Maiko is the most memorable. Although they only serve the guest one type of tea and traditional Japanese sweets per guest, the experience was still memorable. Guests first witness how tea is produced from scratch by the Maiko and this is followed by any traditional dance number. The Maiko's elegance and grace is perfectly showcased. Her business mother is also very adept at explaining basic facts about the Maiko and the Geisha's way of life. The last part of the tea time is an interview with the Maiko wherein guests can ask questions.

スタッフは英語があまり得意ではありませんが、メイクオーバーセッション中に快適に過ごせるよう努力してくれます。彼らはメイクの説明や着替えの際に何をすればよいかを伝えるためのフレーズを十分に知っています。フォトグラファーは、正しいショットを得るために小さな動きを指示するのが非常に上手です。ただし、クライアントは印刷されるショットを選ぶことができず、これはフォトグラファーの裁量に委ねられています。すべてのショットは見ることができますが、クライアントは2000円＋税のCDを購入する必要があり、私はそれが少し高いと感じます。それでも、全体的にこの体験は私の日本旅行のハイライトの一つです。

Staff don't speak English well however they do make an effort to make you feel comfortable during the makeover session. They know enough phrases to explain the make-up being applied and what to do during the dressing up. The photographer is very good in instructing small movements in order to get the right shot. Clients however don't get to choose the shot to be printed as this is under the discretion of the photographer. All shots can be viewed but clients have to purchase a CD worth 2000yen + tax which I find to be on the pricey side. Overall, the experience still is one of the highlights of my Japan trip.

5年ぶりくらいに坐禅体験をしました。こちらでの体験は初めてです。
最初に丁寧に説明をいただきその後、実際に坐禅しました。

わりと無の状態になれたので、坐禅のイメージにある「バチン」とされるやつはされませんでしたが、体験という意味で行くと1度やってもらえばよかったかなと思いました。

気持ちもスッキリ、心も軽くなったのでまた体験したいです。

体験はとても素晴らしかったです。美しい桜の下で名古屋城を散策しながら着物を着ることは、日本での忘れられない瞬間の一つです。

The experience was so great. Wearing kimono while roaming around Nagoya castle under the beautiful Sakura is one of the unforgettable moments in Japan.

私たちは、茶を作り、踊り、会話をし、写真を撮るために会える舞妓を見つけるために尽力してくれたヴェルトラに感謝したいと思います。これは短期間で、他の代理店が手助けできないピークシーズンに行われました。イベント自体は非常に思い出深いものでした。茶屋で活動を監督していた方が、何が起こるのか、いつ終わるのかを説明してくれれば助かったと思います。

We want to thank Veltra for their efforts to find a Maiko available to meet with us for the making of tea, dance, chat and photo opportunity. This was done at short notice and in peak season when other agencies were not able to help. The event itself was very memorable. It would have helped if the person who oversaw activities at the tea house explained what was going to happen and when we would know it would conclude.

The ladies at the studio were lovely, they made us feel really welcome and our time at the studio had a great atmosphere. The kimonos were stunning and there was a large variety of high-quality kimono to choose from. Thank you ladies for a lovely experience, we will most definitely be back again :)

浅草での休暇を過ごすのに、着物を着て散策できる以上の素晴らしい方法はありませんでした。彼らのオフィスに入った瞬間、そこにいる女性たちにすぐに迎えられ、彼女たちが皆プロフェッショナルであることを実感しました。選べる着物や袴がたくさんあり、私を着せるのに30分もかかりませんでした。女性の場合、髪もセットしてくれます。私が写真を投稿すると、日本を訪れたことのある友人たちは、私がこの体験をしたことを羨ましがっていました。これは文化に浸るための別の方法であり、日本を訪れる際の素晴らしい過ごし方です。

女性たちに感謝します！あなたたちを友人や家族に推薦したことをお知らせできて嬉しいです。

I could not have asked for a better way to spend my vacation day in Asakusa than being able to roam around with a Kimono. The moment I entered their office, I was greeted immediately by the ladies there, and I can attest that they are all professionals. There's an array of kimonos and hakamas to choose from, and it only took less than 30 minutes for them to dress me. For women, they even fix your hair for you. When I posted up my pictures, all of my friends who visited Japan before were jealous that I got to experience this. This is definitely another way to immerse yourself in the culture, and a great way to spend your visit in Japan.

Thank you to the ladies for being so dandy! You will be pleased to know that I recommended you to all of my friends and family.

Located on a side street will need directions or map. Helpful ladies at Sakura Photo Studio quickly dress you. Selection of different colors. Memorable experience to walk around in kimono attire!

着物体験は素晴らしかったです！全体の衣装とヘアスタイルで少し日本人になった気分でした。お世話をしてくれた女性たちも素敵でした。カメラマンも素晴らしく、東京の最高のロケーションの一つで素晴らしいガイドでもありました。本当におすすめです。

The kimono experience was awesome!
The whole outfit and hair do made me feel a bit Japanese, all the ladies who took care of it were lovely.
The photographer was great too, and an amazing guide too!in on of the best locations in Tokyo.

As this is the first time i tried veltra i wasnt sure of its credibility but it turned out great had loads of fun doing the makeover.

We're three girls from Taiwan. The clerk is so nice to give us suggestion. Always smile and be patient. It's amazing that she can speak mandarin. It's my first time to wear komon and it's totally different the normal komon style. Deeply recommend this shop.

サクラスタジオが大好きです。着物選びからヘアスタイルまで、迅速で効率的なサービスを提供してくれます。ただ、店内が混雑しているときに少しイライラすることがあります。男性や女性のための個室やロッカーがないため、貴重品を置く場所がありません。他の男性が着替えているところを見るのは少し不快です。内側に透けない服を着ることをお勧めします。着物を他の人の前で着る必要があるからです。全体的には、今後改善の余地がありますが、ホストは多くの言語に堪能です！

We love sakura studio as their provide fast and efficient service from the kimono choosing process and hair do. Some how just a minor irritation when its get too crowded in the shop. There is no personal room/separate room for gents or ladies as well as locker to put your valuable stuff. Its kinda bit of discomfort when other guy looking at you dressing up. Make sure to wear not see through clothing for your inner because you need to wear your kimono in-front of others. Overall, it can be improve in future and the host is great in many languages!

沖縄滞在の最終日にお邪魔いたしました。
せっかくだから琉球舞踊が見たい！と本格的な舞踊の文句に惹かれてこのお店に決めました。
予約したタイミングなのか、最前列のお席をご用意していただき、早速料理も運ばれてきました！
早速いただくと、どれもこれも美味しい！どちらかというと薄味ですが、素材の美味しさが感じられます。もずくの酢の物は実は苦手なものなのですが、こちらのもずくの酢の物はお酢よりも柑橘系のすっぱさも交じっていて、ぺろりと食べてしまいました。
そして待っていました！琉球舞踊。３人の舞手さんによる舞踊でしたが、どれもこれも素敵でした！やはり四つ竹の紅型衣装はとても素敵で、最後に写真を撮っていただけるときにこの衣装で入っていただいてすごく良い思い出になりました。
こういったお店は他にもあると思いますが、席数もそれほど多くないためか、舞台は見やすく、食事もすべてに目が行き届いている印象があります。
とても素敵な至福の時間をありがとうございました！

私の人生の目標の一つは、京都で芸妓/舞妓と一緒に茶道を体験することでしたが、期待を超える素晴らしい体験でした。

ヴェルトラの予約システムはシンプルで簡単でしたが、会場からの予約確認には数日かかりました。

茶室への道案内は完璧でした（特に京都の祇園エリアは小さな裏道が多いため、非常に重要です）し、祇園富菊お茶屋の女将の出迎えは心地よく、情報も豊富で、訪問中ずっと良い英語でたくさんの情報を提供してくれました。

舞妓の富津由による茶道と舞は美しく、素晴らしかったです。正式な儀式が終わった後、彼女としばらくお話しする機会がありました。富津由は完璧な英語を話し、私たちがした「明らかな」質問にも非常に忍耐強く、正直に答えてくれました。彼女はおそらく何度も同じ質問を受けていることでしょう。

訪問中は写真や動画を撮る機会がたくさんあり、女将によってそれが奨励されていました。全体の体験は、顧客がイベントに満足できるように設計されていました。

富津由の献身と完璧に演じるために必要な訓練は、若い彼女にとって素晴らしいものであり、そんな人生の道を選ぶためのコミットメントには少し驚かされました。

この全体の体験は私の人生の残りの部分に生き続けるもので、待った甲斐がありました。京都を訪れる際には、これに興味がある方には優先事項にすることをお勧めします。後悔はしないでしょう。

It has been one of my life ambitions to have a Tea Ceremony with a Geiko/Maiko in Kyoto and it exceeded my expectations in every way.

The booking system with Veltra was simple and easy although it took a few days to get confirmation of the booking from the venue itself.

The directions to the Tea House were perfect (especially required with the nature of the Gion area of Kyoto with so many small back streets) and the greeting by the Okasan of the Gion Tomikiku Ochaya (Tea House) was pleasant and informative and she gave us lots of information all through the time of the visit, in good English.

The Tea Ceremony and Dance by the Maiko (Tomitsuyu) was beautiful and exquisite and we had the chance to speak to her for some time after the formalities were over. Tomitsuyu spoke perfect English and was very patient and honest with all the 'obvious' questions we asked of her, which I am sure she has been asked many times before.

There were plenty of opportunities for pictures and videos during the entire visit, which were in fact encouraged by the Okasan and the whole experience was designed to ensure the customer was happy with the event.

The dedication that Tomitsuyu has and the training required to perform so perfectly is a credit to such a young girl and we were in slight awe of the commitment is takes to take such a path in life.

The whole experience will live with me for the rest of my life and was definitely worth the wait and I would recommend anyone who is interested in this to make it a priority during your visit to Kyoto. You will not regret it.

とても素晴らしい体験でした。ホストはとても親切で、式典は素晴らしかったです。レイサンは美しい着物を着ており、この伝統的なパフォーマンスを楽しませてくれました。彼女は私たちの疑問にもためらうことなく答えてくれました。家は金閣寺から徒歩1分の場所にあり、アクセスがとても便利です。家の1階は日本の伝統的な物でよく装飾されています。おすすめです。

It has been such a nice experience. The host was super nice and the ceremony was superlative. Reisan was dressed with a beautiful kimono and make us enjoy the pleasure of this traditional performance. She also answered to all our doubts without esitate. The house a minute walking from the kinkakuji so it is really comfortable to get there. The first floor of the house is well decorated with objects of the Japanese tradition. Recommended.

札幌雪まつり時期に北海道に行くため、小樽にも寄りたい！と思い立ち、ベルトラさんを検索していたら、着物レンタルがあり、飛び付きました(笑)
結果は大正解(^o^)/
小樽運河との相性バッチリで、運河と雪と写真写りはいつもより良かったと勝手に思っています(≧◡≦)
あと、良く話し掛けられるし目立ちますねぇ～特に男性は珍しいのか、写真を撮られる確率が高く、ちょっとした有名人気取りでした(笑)着物レンタルは外人さんが多いとのことでしたが、日本人ですからね、やっぱ良いものでしたよ(≧◡≦)
お店の方も気さくで、たくさんある着物の中で悩んでいる私達に的確なアドバイスをして頂き、楽しく着付けて頂きました！
着物に帯、髪型、髪飾り。
冬なので、コートも無料で貸していただけるのですが、男性用も女性用もカッコイイし可愛い！タイムスリップした気分でした！
機会があればまた着たいです！今度は3時間コースでゆっくりですかねぇ～
