It was a cold day, but thanks to the guide's thoughtfulness and attention, we had a wonderful time and created great memories! Also, since there is quite a bit of walking involved, having something like a backpack might make it easier to carry souvenirs without having to hold them in your hands.

I was able to visit Hōryū-ji, Tōshōdai-ji, Yakushi-ji, Kasuga-taisha, Tōdai-ji, and Kōfuku-ji all in one day. Additionally, we enjoyed a rich sightseeing experience of temples and shrines, including views of Heijō Palace, the bell of Tōdai-ji, Nigatsu-dō, and Sangatsu-dō from the car window. Since we had elderly people and young children with us, traveling by car was not only convenient but also allowed for breaks during the journey, which was very nice. Furthermore, our driver, Mr. Yamamoto, not only provided guidance about the temples and shrines but also answered any questions we had about Nara, allowing us to learn more about its culture. I would like to use this service again when I visit Nara, and I would also recommend it to my acquaintances.

The weather was great and perfect. The guides were professionals, so their explanations were excellent, and they added some funny stories here and there, which was nice. The highlights of Iriomote Island depend on luck, as you might see some rare animals. The water buffalo cart ride was truly a great experience. Yubu Island felt a bit lacking, though. The streets of Taketomi Island felt like a different world. This tour was really good.

You can efficiently visit Iriomote Island, Yufu Island, and Taketomi Island. It was my first time in the Yaeyama Islands, and I think I was taken around efficiently. When I went sightseeing in Kyoto with four friends, we requested a sightseeing taxi since we were starting our tour in the afternoon. The driver was very gentle and kind, and all four of us were extremely satisfied. We were pleasantly surprised that the driver also guided us at the sightseeing spots, which was a nice bonus. If we have the opportunity again, I would definitely want to request this driver. I wonder if I can specifically ask for him next time?
友人4人と京都観光に行った際、昼からの観光と言う事もあり観光タクシーをお願いしました。運転手さんは物腰も柔らかく優しい感じの方で4人とも大満足でした。しかも観光地で運転手さんが案内してくれると思っていなかったので案内してくれて良かったです。

My wife and I participated in a tour together. We decided to join because it was possible to participate until the age of 70, but I have some mountain climbing experience while my wife is almost a beginner. From the start of the trek on the trolley path, she was a bit slow, and once we finished the trolley path and began the actual climb, it became quite challenging to keep up.
The guide informed us that at this pace, we wouldn't make it back to the bus on time, and that beginners should sign up for a private tour. I managed to carry my wife's backpack, and we somehow made it to Jomon Sugi.

70歳迄ツアー参加可能ということで参加を決めたのですが、私は登山経験有りで妻は殆ど初心者。行きのトロッコ道を歩く時から少し遅れ気味だったのですが、トロッコ道を終え、本格的に登り始めるところからついていくのがかなり厳しかったです
ガイドからこのペースだと帰りのバスに間にあわない、初心者は個別ツアーに申し込むべきだと告げられました
妻のザックを私が担いであがる事でなんとか縄文杉までは到着しました
また、他にも登山初心者の方が参加されていたの雪道でアイゼンを付けなければならない状態だったのですが、ガイドはアイゼンを渡すだけで付け方を手伝うことはありませんでした
登山アプリでの行動ペースは一般の110〜120%となっており、普段実施されている観光説明を参加者のスキルにあわせて短くし、ゆっくり目に歩いてあげる様な配慮もあってよかったと思います
申し込みの事前告知に求める登山スキルを記載して、参加者がこれなら参加できる、できないの判断ができる様にしてくれる事を望みます
苦しくても見ることの出来た縄文杉には感動しました。

As expected from a large tour company, it was great that reservations and cancellations were possible even the day before, providing a high level of flexibility, which made it reassuring to book considering the weather and other factors. Additionally, I took advantage of a campaign from VELTRA that offered one person free, making it more affordable.
The communication felt quite business-like, and it seemed they were following a manual diligently. I participated in a half-day kayak tour, and the hotel pick-up was smooth. There were five participants kayaking on the calm waters of the Urauchi River.
There seemed to be many guides available, and our guide was knowledgeable, explaining the names of various plants and allowing us to fully enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island. While I think kayaking and SUP tours in Ishigaki Island might be slightly cheaper, I believe that if you're going to do it, the more majestic nature of Iriomote Island is the better choice.
I deducted one star because, despite it being an unusually sunny day in winter on Iriomote Island with no strong winds, we were switched from the desired SUP to kayaking due to weather reasons. I could only think it was because we were the only participants for the SUP, and they wanted to consolidate us into one tour. This assumption was reinforced when I happened to meet local tour operators at an izakaya that night, who mentioned that it was a nice day and that they could have easily done the SUP.

星を一つ減らしたのは、風が全然強くなく、冬の西表島では珍しく晴天の日だったにもかかわらず、天候を理由に希望していたsupではなくカヤックにされてしまった事です。
sup参加者が私達だけで、一つのツアーにまとめて集約したいからなんだろうなとしか思えませんでした。というのも、この日の夜以前supツアーでお世話になった地元のツアー業者の方々に居酒屋で偶々お会いし、今日どこに行ったという話になったのですが、今日はいい天気で全然supできたよと皆さん言われていました。
また、個人写真をあまり撮って下さらず、1人が目を瞑っていたり、使える写真が1、2枚程度で非常に少なかったのでがっかりしました。
是非次回はsupができたらなと思います。

The tour had about 90% foreign participants, but everyone showed great respect for Japanese culture and had good manners, so I had no concerns. (Participants were from Australia, Italy, the United States, Singapore, etc.) For children, this environment provided a valuable experience.
The guide explained in Japanese first, followed by English, and I was amazed by the variety of topics covered, from geography and history I studied in school to interesting trivia.
Winter in Shirakawa-go can be tricky with the weather, so I think it's best to have an umbrella and snow boots (rubber boots) regardless of the forecast. Children will also have fun playing in the snow if they have ski gloves!
Additionally, the viewpoint in Shirakawa-go can be accessed by walking or by bus, but the buses only come every 20 minutes and are small, so if other tours overlap, you might have to wait for the next bus due to congestion. I think it's better to go early once you arrive.
On the bus, we received a sightseeing map of Shirakawa-go and Takayama (in Japanese or English), which allowed us to explore efficiently in a short amount of time.

ガイドさんが日本語→英語の順に説明をしてくれて、内容も学生時代に勉強した地理や歴史から雑学的なものまでトピックの引き出しの多さに驚きました。
冬の白川郷は天気が難しく、予報にかかわらず、傘とスノーブーツ（長靴）はあった方がいいと思いました。お子様はスキー用の手袋があると雪遊びもできて楽しいです！
また、白川郷の展望台は徒歩かバスで行くのですが、バスは20分おきでしかも小さいバスなので、他のツアーの方などが重なると混雑で次のバスを見送らなくてはならない状況になりました。到着したら早めに行くのがいいと思いました。
バスの中では、白川郷と高山の観光マップ（日本語or英語）がもらえて、短時間で効率よく散策できました。
白川郷に興味がある方がいたら、おすすめしたいですし、また別のシーズンに再訪できたらいいなと思います。お世話になりありがとうございました。

At first, I felt that an 8 AM meeting time was a bit early, but we arrived just around 9 AM when the museum opened, so it was great to be able to enter right at opening time and make the most of our time there.
Since it was December and the fog was quite thick, making visibility nearly zero, I felt much more at ease being driven by a professional driver rather than driving myself. During the trip, our guide provided information about the characteristics of the Fukui region and pointed out buildings and scenery from the bus.
At the dinosaur museum we visited on the tour, the guide highlighted specific dinosaurs and key points about the Great Buddha, which helped me understand what to look for, making the experience much more enjoyable than if I had gone alone. During our free time, I was able to enjoy the places I recognized from the guide's explanations even more.
Although the dinosaur museum usually requires a reservation, it was convenient to participate since the ticket price and arrangements were included. I think the time allotted for exploring the museum and the Great Buddha is sufficient for a quick overview, but it may not be enough if you want to read all the explanations and take your time to appreciate everything.
Since we disbanded at Fukui Station around lunchtime, I had lunch in the area. The tour was so fulfilling that I felt like it was still early afternoon when I returned, allowing me to make good use of the rest of the day.
In winter, especially with the potential for snow, being driven directly by bus saves time, and I highly recommend it! Considering that the round-trip bus fare, ticket price, arrangement fees, and guide fees are all included, I think it’s very convenient and offers great value for money!

恐竜博物館は通常予約が必要ですが、チケット代や手配も込みなので気軽に参加できて良かったです。
博物館と大仏の自由時間は軽く一周して見る分には足りると思いますが、解説等一つ一つじっくり読んでゆったり鑑賞向けではありません。
お昼頃に福井駅解散だった為お昼は福井駅周辺で食べました。
午前でとても充実したツアーに参加して帰ってきてもまだ午後過ぎかと思ったほどで、午後も時間を有効に使えます。
冬の時期は特に雪の影響もあるのでバスで一直線で連れて行ってもらえて時間も節約でき、おすすめです！
往復のバス代、チケット代、手配代、ガイド代全部込みと考えると参加する側としてはとても楽でコスパが良いと思います！

Since my flight was in the afternoon, I participated on the last day of my trip. This time, I didn't rent a car and stayed near the remote island terminal to go on an island tour, so I was left with some regrets about not being able to see much of the island. However, thanks to this tour, I was able to efficiently visit spots like Kabira Bay and other attractions in Ishigaki. The wind was strong, and the glass-bottom boat service was canceled, but it was the only sunny day, so I was glad to see the beautiful sea and sky before heading home.
