The contents were almost the same for both meals. In addition to the bento, I brought two pieces of bite-sized yokan, received some salt candies and gummies from other participants, and had oral rehydration gel to prevent muscle cramps, which may have been more than I needed.
For those who have cycled for ten hours in a day, I think less food than that would be sufficient. As for drinks, I brought two 600 ml bottles of barley tea, but I ended up only needing one and refilled with spring water along the way, making one bottle completely unnecessary.

Depending on the season, hydration needs can vary greatly, so if you find that spring water is sufficient, you might consider refilling along the way to reduce your load.
Regarding restroom facilities, I took care of my needs before departure and sipped water every few minutes, which was enough to make it to the toilets set up along the route. Just in case, I brought one portable toilet for emergencies and five portable urinals I bought at a 100 yen shop, but I brought too many urinals.

ガイドさんによる適度な休憩、道中の見所の説明等があるので、１００km程度で、それなりの獲得標高になる〇〇ロングライドと名前の付く自転車イベントと同等程度と考えていいでしょう。
ただ普段の運動がロードバイクのみという方は、縄文杉からの帰りには気を付けて下さい。
ロードバイクだと基本舗装路の為、下りは跨がって、適切にブレーキをかけていれば何とかなりますが、縄文杉ツアーの場合、岩場や階段を自分の足で降りるという行為が発生します。
どういう事かというと、ロードバイクの下りではほとんど問題無い足首、膝、股関節に非常に負荷がかかる状況が約４時間続く事となります。(自分は膝の外側に痛みが出てしまいました。おそらくランナー膝と呼ばれるものだと思います)
対策としては、体幹を鍛える、トレッキングポールを使用する等、体に負担のかからない自分に合った段差の下り方を、ツアー参加前に試して見たほうがいいかと思います。
トレッキングポールを当日初めて自分は使いましたが、使い慣れていないせいで、かえって負担になる場面もあったように思います。
あと食事についてですが、自分はツアーのオプションで朝昼のお弁当(おにぎり２個、からあげ、ウインナー、魚、漬物)２食分をお願いしました。(朝昼共内容はほぼ同じ)
お弁当プラス持参した一口羊羹２個、他の参加者の方から頂いた塩飴、グミと、筋肉の攣り対策の為持っていった経口補水ゼリーで自分は少し補給が多かったかもという感じでした。
自転車で一日十時間走った事がある方は、その時より少な目の補給食で十分かと思います。
また飲み物ですが、600mlのペットボトルの麦茶を二本持って行きましたが、結局一本と道中で湧き水を一本分補給した程度で十分間に合い、一本は完全にデッドウェイトとなってしまいました。
3月上旬、縄文杉あたりの気温推定一桁前半、曇時々雨、途中あられという天候でしたが、季節によって水分補給の状況は大きく変わるかと思いますが、湧き水で十分な方は道中で給水し、荷物の負荷を少しでも減らす事を検討してもいいかもしれません。
その他トイレ事情ですが、出発前に大を済ませ、道中の給水を一口ずつ、数十分おきでしていましたが、それで道中に設置されているトイレで十分間に合いました。
季節や個人差が大きいものなので参考程度にして下さい。
念の為、簡易トイレ用の携帯トイレ一つ、１００円ショップで買った小便用の携帯トイレ五つ持って行きましたが、小便用は持っていき過ぎでした。
長々と書かせて頂きましたが、参加しようと思っている方の参考になれば幸いかと思います。

The three-day weekend coincided with the Sapporo Snow Festival, making everywhere bustling with activity. Foreign languages were flying around, and it felt like being in another country. 十数羽のペンギンの御一行はあっと言う間に通り過ぎましたが、とても愛らしかった。
ポーラーベアは雪の中で、ひと時もじっとしていなくてアクティブでした。
その後の観光地でも雪景色を存分に楽しみよい旅になりました。

結果、ガイドの方に臨機応変に対応していただき、縄文杉には到着できませんでしたが大満足のトレッキングとなりました。
また末っ子が大きくなったら、屋久島に再訪して色々歩きたいと家族全員の感想です。ガイドさんには大感謝です！！

もともとはマングローブSUPとバラス島シュノーケリングの予定でしたが、風が強くシュノーケリングもSUPも危険ということで、午前中はキャニオニング、午後はマングローブカヌーに変更になりました。
体験前はシュノーケリングとSUPを楽しみにしていたので、とってもガッカリしていましたが、いざ体験してみるとカヌーもキャニオニングもとっても楽しかったです。
2人乗りのカヌーで幅の広い川を漕いでいくのでとても気持ち良かったです。
ただカヌーに関しては下は水着着用が良いかと思います。
私はジーパンで挑んでしまったのですが、パンツまで濡れるほどお尻が濡れましたw

お天気に恵まれ暑かったです。一日で効率良く3島の島巡りが出来るのはとても良いかと思います。レンタサイクル付きプランが申し込めず現地で予約出来るのか心配でしたが無事電動サイクルをお借りする事が出来ました。やはり坂があったりするので電動は最高です！時間を気にしながら最終時間の水牛にも乗れて良かったです。ただ私達が乗った水牛さんはのんびりでサービス旺盛なのか中々進んでくれず電動サイクル返却時間に間に合わないような進み方でハラハラドキドキしながら乗っていました。水牛舎に入るなり慌てて降りて無事返却が出来てこれも楽しい思い出の一つですね。
