I appreciated the constant updates on the road conditions and lunch spots to ensure we had the most fulfilling time possible at the distant accommodation. Additionally, since the driver was from Okinawa, he shared some delicious local lunch spots and photo opportunities, which made the experience very enjoyable. We had a great time chatting in the car as well. I definitely want to use this service again.

Since it was a hassle to research and plan in advance, I decided to book a tour for the first time. They also helped with purchasing tickets, and since there was a lot of free time at each location, I was glad I could visit the places I was interested in. There were power outlets on the bus, so I was able to charge my phone with my own cable, which saved me from using my mobile battery.

The tour ended at 5 PM, and since lunch was from 11:30 AM, I was able to eat slowly without getting too hungry. The free time was about an hour, so the movements felt a bit rushed, but I was happy to be able to visit the classic tourist spots.

現地着くたび自由行動が多いので気になる所に行けてよかったです
バスの中にはコンセントがあったので持参のコードで携帯の充電も出来てモバイルバッテリーを使わずにすんだので助かりました

17時終了のためお昼ご飯が11時30分からだったのでお腹空かずゆっくり食べてしまったのと
自由行動が1時間前後なのでちょっと慌ただしい移動になりましたが定番観光巡りが出来てよかったです

I participated with my two children in March. The location was wonderful, but the impression of the tour guide was particularly strong. There was one foreigner in our group, and the tour guide explained in Japanese to us and then repeated it in English. I was surprised by the fluency of the English. It was humorous, and we were never bored during the bus rides.

As a result, even though my visit to Yakushima was short, I was able to spend a very fulfilling time. I would definitely like to have a guide like this in the future.

I was aiming for Myojin Pond, so I was cutting it close with the round trip time. I would have liked to walk to Tokuzawa if possible, but it was just not feasible time-wise. I would have been happy with an extra hour of stay.

Since none of my friends, including myself, had much experience with trekking or climbing, we decided to book a tour. When we arrived at the site, we noticed many people without guides, but I’m glad we had one.

★ Highlights of the tour
- You can learn about the highlights without any prior preparation or being passive.
└ The well-maintained mountain paths made it easy to reach Jomon Sugi without getting lost. It was great to learn about the points of interest and trivia along the course besides just the goal of Jomon Sugi. We also received tips on how to take great photos. Since we were a relatively young group, we made some detours on the way back, but if you’re on your own, there wouldn’t be many options other than the designated route.
- The timing of breaks was well managed.
└ This was the biggest advantage for beginners like us. We could aim for Jomon Sugi with peace of mind.
- You can arrange for trekking shoes and backpacks as well.
└ There are several rental shops in Yakushima, but being able to arrange everything in advance is convenient and reassuring. I think many accommodations in Yakushima can provide lunch boxes, but it’s nice to have that as an option. (We ate the lunch boxes from our accommodation, so we didn’t choose that option.)

Our guide was friendly and great at chatting, which made the experience enjoyable. Although we didn’t opt for a private tour due to budget concerns, we created wonderful memories with the entire group we climbed with.

友人含めて全員運動習慣のあまりないトレッキング・登山未経験ということもあり、ツアーを予約しました。実際現地にいくとガイドさんをつけていない方もたくさんいらっしゃいましたが、つけて良かったと思っています。
★ツアーの良かったところ
・予習なし・受け身でも見どころなどを教えてもらえる
└基本的に整備された山道で迷わず縄文杉にたどり着けます。ただし、ゴールの縄文杉以外のコース上の見どころ・豆知識などを教えてもらえてよかったです。映える写真の取り方も教えてもらいました。比較的若者グループだったので帰りは寄り道もしましたが、個人だけだと決まったルートで帰る以外の選択肢はなかったです。
・休憩のタイミングなど見計らってもらえる
└素人にとってはこれが一番大きかったです。安心して縄文杉目指せました
・トレッキングシューズ、ザックなどもあわせて手配できる
└屋久島にはレンタルショップが複数ありますが、事前に合わせて手配できるのは楽だし安心感もあります。お弁当は屋久島の多くの宿で手配できると思いますが、オプションとして選べるのもいいですね。（私たちは宿のお弁当を食べたのでオプションではつけていません）

ガイドさんも気さくでおしゃべり上手で楽しかったです。お財布を気にして貸切ツアーにしませんでしたが、一緒に登ったグループ全体でいい思い出が作れました。

I live in Yokohama, and this was my first factory night view cruise. Perhaps due to the aftermath of COVID or energy-saving measures, the night view was a bit lacking, but the captain's guidance was wonderful and absolutely fantastic. He provided explanations for almost all the buildings, so instead of just enjoying the cruise and thinking "it's beautiful," I gained knowledge about those buildings as well. Early in the morning, we headed from Sapporo to Asahikawa via the highway. There were 11 participants in 5 groups (3 Japanese groups and 2 foreign groups), so we used a small microbus. While I appreciated that the tour was still conducted with a small number of people, the ride was a bit uncomfortable. The driver was a pleasant person.

We spent 2 hours at Asahiyama Zoo, enjoying the underwater polar bears, penguins viewed from below, and seals swimming freely in the tanks! It was wonderful to see the lively animals in the water. On the other hand, the land animals looked pitifully exhausted from the heat, just like us humans.

The "Hokkaido local gourmet lunch" was a bit disappointing due to the overlap with other foreign groups, which made it crowded, and the limited menu. I had high expectations, so it was a letdown. I actually think it would have been better to extend our time at Asahiyama Zoo and have the freedom to eat there.

The Blue Pond was beautiful, and the sound of the Shirahige Waterfall was impressive, with a cool river breeze that made us forget the heat!

「北海道ご当地グルメランチ」は、他の外国人団体客と滞在時間が重なって混雑していたことと、メニューが少なかったことで、期待が大きかっただけにちょっとガッカリ…。むしろ旭山動物園の滞在時間を増やして、そこで自由に食事をとれた方がよかったと思いました。
青い池は美しく、白髭のたきは迫力ある水の音と涼しい川風で暑さを忘れさせてくれました！

いろんなプランがあったらいいなと！

I was very satisfied to see the beautiful starry sky for the first time in Miyako Island! On the day of the shoot, I was worried that the stars wouldn't be visible due to the clouds, but after waiting a bit as instructed by the photographer, we arrived at the shooting point and the starry sky was amazing, with the Milky Way beautifully visible, which was truly moving.

Shirakawa-go and Takayama were smaller than I had expected, and I ended up with quite a bit of free time. I think it would better match our needs to shorten the free time a bit and instead have a later departure time. The guide was a middle-aged man, and his tone and volume were very easy to hear. He spoke just the right amount—not too much and not too little.

白川郷も高山も思っていたよりその規模が小さく、自由時間がかなり余ってしまいました。もう少し自由時間を短くし、そのかわりに出発時刻を遅くした方がよりニーズにマッチすると思います。ガイドさんは中年の男性の方でしたが、声のトーンも音量も大変聞きやすく、また喋っている時間も多くもなく少なくもなく、丁度良かったです。
