I participated with my elderly mother. I think the itinerary was well thought out, as it included many major tourist spots in just one day. Despite visiting so many places, it didn't feel rushed, and we were able to have a fulfilling day. I'm glad we chose this tour. It might be the last time my mother gets to go to Okinawa, so it was enjoyable to visit many attractions together. Thank you very much!

It was great that the guide changed into a costume and danced on the bus. I had a lot of fun taking pictures with the 99-year-old grandmother from Ryukyu Village.

バスの中で、ガイドさんが衣装に着替えて、踊ってくれたのがとても良かったです。琉球村の99歳のお婆さんと一緒に写真を撮れてとても楽しかったです。

We participated with my sister for the first time in Miyako Island! It seems that the previous day was a new moon, and we were able to see incredibly beautiful stars! We had a great time talking with a fun guy while taking pictures, and the photos turned out really beautiful, so we were very satisfied✨

On our way back, he recommended some restaurants and places to see for us since we had no plans for the next day. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy delicious food and had a wonderful trip.

I wore a long-sleeve shirt, fleece, and rain jacket, but it was quite cold. The Jomon Sugi deck was also open, so I was able to take my time taking photos and resting. I usually don't walk for long periods, but there were many other attractions besides Jomon Sugi, and I was able to enjoy walking.

長袖シャツ・フリース・レインジャケットだったのですがかなり寒かったです。縄文杉のデッキも空いていたのでゆっくり写真を撮ったり、休憩できました。普段は長時間歩くことも無いのですが、縄文杉以外の見どころも多く楽しく歩くことができました。

The tour was delayed by heavy traffic which as the tours are run almost daily should have been anticipated with an earlier start.
The tour arrived at the Mt Fuji 4th station car park where we waited one hour for a parking space for our coach. The time then available was very limited but sufficient as there was little to see or do. The flank of Mt Fuji shielded by trees is uninspiring, although it was sunny and clear.
We then went for lunch at a lakeside restaurant. The food had been laid out on individual trays and was a very good selection of traditional food.
Immediately after lunch we were back on the coach for a drive to lake Ashi where we disembarked for 20 minutes before the "Cruise". It was a ferry service between stops on the lake and we boarded at one stop and disembarked 15 minutes later at the next.
We went from the landing dock up to the cable car lower station at 16.20 and ascended via the cable car cabin to the top. There was a shrine and viewing points over the lake below.
As we had arrived late at the 4th Station, the clouds had since gathered and there was little to see. Mt Fuji that was fully visible earlier was now covered. at 17.10 the last car descended and we were back on the coach at 17.30. The coach faced 2 hours stuck in traffic back to Tokyo or there was an option to self-fund a bullet train back from Odawara station. I could not leave the tour fast enough and went by train.
For the price I paid of $134 I feel this tour is best avoided.

Booking with Veltra was easy and convenient. They promtly responded to my queries, which were minimal anyway because their instructions and notices were clear in the first place. We rode a Nissan van (probably an Urvan), which seated us comfortably (we were 7 adults and 1 child). Our driver, Mr. Nakamura Yasuo, spoke minimal English and we spoke minimal Japanese, but it felt like there was no language barrier at all! He showed us around Hakone very professionally and courteously. And even though it was snowing and quite dangerous to travel, he did his best to comply with our requests. Indeed, the springtime-snow surprise that day was very memorable to our family because of Veltra!

Pity we could only go to stage 1 on Mount Fuji but only the weather is to blame and not the company.
The lake cruise was very short and perhaps not as interesting as may have been expected? Thew bullet train ride back to Tokyo was great.
Overall well worth the effort and well organised.

It was a bus tour blessed with great weather and a sense of liberation. The highway on the way back felt like a roller coaster, an experience you can't have on your own. The guide's commentary had a local touch, making it very enjoyable.

Difficult to hear what the guides were saying.
Very busy between the different sights. When we finally found cherry blossoms there was no time to take photos.
Not too interesting to see the gardens and the shrine that was under reconstruction.

We started in the rain and had some worries, but thanks to our guide, both my child and I were able to walk comfortably and safely, making it a really enjoyable 22 km. Along the way, we heard many interesting stories about Yakushima's nature, the evolution of life, history, and valuable experiences that both adults and children could enjoy. My 10-year-old son was able to walk the long distance without getting bored. The rain stopped partway through, and it was great to experience both types of weather. In the second half, the guide was especially attentive to help us maintain our focus. We were truly healed by the abundant nature, felt the presence of the giant Jomon cedar, and enjoyed interacting with others while completing the hike, making for a very happy time. In the end, my son, who had become a bit tired from the bus ride, was able to savor the joy again later. Thank you so much!!

雨の中スタートし不安もありましたが、ガイドの方のおかげで親子共々無理なく安心して歩くことができ、すごく楽しい22㎞でした。道中、屋久島の自然をはじめ、生命の進化や歴史、貴重な体験談などなど、大人も子供も楽しめる興味深い話をたくさん聞くことができ、10歳の息子も長い道のりを飽きることなく歩けました。途中から雨もあがり、両方の天気を体験できたこともすごくよかったです。後半は集中力が切れないようにとくに注意しながらガイドしてくださいました。たくさんの自然にとにかく癒され、巨大な縄文杉を実感し、人ともふれあい楽しみながら完歩でき、とても幸せな時間を過ごすことができました。最後に登山バスに酔って元気のなくなった息子もあとからまた喜びをかみしめていました。本当にありがとうございました！！

It's a half-day tour. At Sefa Utaki, I could see Kudaka Island, and it felt like I was adventuring in a cave at the Gangala Valley, holding a lantern.

半日ツアーです。斎場御嶽では、久高島が見られました、ガンガラーの谷は、洞窟を冒険しているようでした。ランタン持って。

I have been to an aquarium, so this was a tour that allowed me to visit other attractions. I traveled alone and didn't have a license, but it was sunny, and I was able to enjoy Okinawa at a leisurely pace. Thank you very much.
The photo is of the stairs at the Tropical Dream Center's observation deck. It felt like something out of a Studio Ghibli film.
I passed through Chatan for the first time, and it felt like being in America.
I also got to hear stories about the military base. The guide was very good at singing.

水族館には行ったことがあるので、他の名所を廻れるツアーです。一人旅で免許もないけど、晴れていたし、ゆっくり沖縄を過ごせました。ありがとうございました。

I had a great experience before, so I participated with my brother's family as well. The freshness of being able to view various buildings and landscapes from the high position of the bus is truly wonderful. Since it was a nice spring season, we were able to see the cherry blossoms, which made it even more enjoyable. The guide's performance really enhances the tour. Everyone, both children and adults, gets very excited when passing under the bridge. I think it would be great if there were a tour that also includes Tokyo Tower and other places for about an additional 30 minutes.

前に利用して良かったので兄弟の家族も一緒に参加しました。
色んな建物や景色がバスの高い位置から眺められるという新鮮さは本当に良いです。
春の良い季節だったので桜も見れてより楽しめました。
ガイドさんの演出がよりツアーを盛り上げてくれます。橋の下をくぐる時は子供も大人も大興奮です。
プラス30分くらいで東京タワーや他の場所も一緒にまわれるツアーもあったらいいなと思います。

Our group of four paid USD134/person, poor value for what was provided.
Departure from Asakusa was 20mins late for no apparent reason.We made 2 stops to pick up more passengers, made the tour group of 40 people - what happened to the max group of 20 that was indicated?
After approx. 2.5 hours we arrived at the Mt Fuji tourist office for a restroom stop then proceeded to the Mt Fuji 4th station, instead of the 5th station, no problem as it was beyond the control of the tour operator. The trip to the 4th station took almost 1.5 hours, instead of 15 mins. due to the large number of buses on route. The operator should have been aware of this delay and made arrangements for this stop to happen later in the day when not so busy. The 4th station stop was very disappointing as all could be seen was the side of the mountain and some slushy snow on the ground. The local authorities could also have better managed the flow and access of buses by limiting each stop to 15mins rather than leaving it to the discretion of each tour operator. From there we were bused to lunch which was probably the only worthwhile inclusion of the entire day. After lunch we bused to the lakeside to catch a 15 min ferry ride to the Komagatake Ropeway - hardly something one would call a cruise. At the Ropeway we were shuffled into a cable car and once at the top of the mountain told to come straight back down as the Ropeway was about to close down - why bother taking us up in the first place? Back on the bus we were dropped off at Odawara station to catch the Shinkansen back to Tokyo, our choice rather than enduring a 3 hour ride back during peak hour. No compensation/discount was allowed for us making our own way back to Tokyo. Overall this was a complete disappointment and poor value for what was paid. If Sunrise Tours has any conscience it would consider refunding the majority cost of this tour as it did not deliver what was paid for and expected. Voucher No. 5201641 - 4th April 2019.

When I first came to Japan, the first place I’ve always wanted to visit was Mt.Fuji and see the beautiful scenary of the mountain!~ It was breathtaking moment to see the mountain in person and get a clear view of it. It was an unforgettable day for me that I’ll cherish!~

Had a great tour with a private chartered taxi. Our driver-guide Taka was very helpful, friendly, accommodating, and funny. We are very happy to be with his company and we hope to meet him again in the future of our Japan trips.

I was guided by a young and cute guide with a group of five mountain girls from Kansai.
Not only did we get explanations, but we also had a lot of fun taking photos together.
At lunch, we were served warm miso soup, which helped us power up.
On the way back, I might have walked harder than ever to catch the 5:30 bus.
Everyone was able to board the bus safely.
It's a pity that I wanted to get a little closer to Jomon Sugi...
However, safety first for both Jomon Sugi and humans.

This tour was exhausting, but it was really enjoyable!♪♪

残念なのは、縄文杉にもう少し近くまで行きたかったなぁと…
しかし、縄文杉にも、人間にも安全第一ですね

Such a wonderful mix of awe, serenity, and adventure. Tour guide was extremely competent and accommodating. Worth every yen! I would recommend this to everyone who loves nature and outdoor adventure.

Tour guide Jim was excellent and he made the tour interesting and fun. The locations selected were just right and what we wished to see.

We had a fun time. The clouds cleared and we had a beautiful view of the mountain. Food was great, and our guide Nori is awesome :). The only down sides were the long lines at Mt. Fuji station and for the ropeway. We had the Japan Rail pass, so I scheduled a bus return with drop-off at Odawara and we just used our passes to take the bullet train back to Tokyo. Easy and comfortable.

I participated with friends from China in Singapore. I decided to join a day trip from Kanazawa the day before the tour, and the reservation process was easy and straightforward. I initially planned to go by bus on my own, but the morning and evening reservations were already full. The tour had 40% Japanese and 60% foreigners, with both Japanese and English guides, and it was extremely enjoyable. The small group created a friendly atmosphere that was fantastic. The guidance on how to explore Shirakawa-go and Gokayama was clear and easy to understand!!! The guide and driver from Kanazawa created a great atmosphere, and their desire to make sure everyone had a good time was evident. I made wonderful memories with my friends. Thank you very much!!!

ツアー前日に金沢発の一日旅行を思い立って申し込みましたが、予約は簡単で、わかりやすかったです。個人でバスでいくつもりでしたが、既に朝、夕方の予約はいっぱいでしたが、ツアーは日本人4割、外国人6割、日英ガイドがつきで、非常に楽しかったです。グループは少人数でフレンドリーな雰囲気が最高でした。
白川郷、五箇山での回り方もガイダンスがありわかりやすかったです！！！
金沢出身のガイドさん、ドライバーさんがいい雰囲気づくりをされていて、楽しんでもらおうという気持ちがつたわりました。

I participated in a half-day tour that allowed for airport drop-off, and both Sefa Utaki and the Gyangala Valley were fascinating, making it a satisfying tour. The Gyangala Valley, especially with the guidance of the tour guide, was impressive.

空港下車可の半日ツアーだったので参加しましたが、斎場御嶽とガンガラーの谷どちらも興味深く、満足のいくツアーでした。
特にガイドの方の案内でまわるガンガラーの谷が印象的でした。

Although I usually don't exercise much, I signed up casually, but the 22 kilometers and 10 hours and 15 minutes of perfect climbing were so hard that I almost had to retire midway. Thanks to everyone's encouragement and our local main guide, Taniyama, who carried my luggage, I was able to complete it safely! I'm just so grateful! ♪( ´▽｀)

Yakushima has rain two-thirds of the year, and the mountain weather reportedly has a low rate of clear skies, but fortunately, it was a beautiful sunny day! ♪ I canceled the half-day trip to Shiratani Unsuikyo the next day due to a sore throat and heavy rain in the morning, but it was still a satisfying experience. Thank you very much.

普段、ほとんど運動をしていないのに、氣軽に申し込んでしまいましたが、22キロ、10時間15分の完璧なる登山で、あまりにハードだった為、途中でリタイアしそうに。皆さんの励ましと、地元出身のメインガイドのタニヤマさんがわたしの荷物を背負って下さったお陰で、無事にコンプリートできました！もう感謝でしかありません♪( ´▽｀)

屋久島は年間2/3が雨で、しかも山の天候は晴天率が低いらしいのですが、その日は快晴だったのもさいわいでした♪
翌日の白谷雲水峡半日の方は喉の痛みに加え、朝方豪雨だったこともありキャンセルしましたが、充分満足できる体験となりました。ありがとうございました。

The guide was a great person, and I was able to walk comfortably. Even though I usually lack exercise and had surgery and hospitalization a month ago, the course was manageable for me. Next time, I would like to try going to Taiko Rock.

This tour was exceptional in that it was possible to select and change the itinerary as the day progressed. The tour guide spoke good English, was knowledgeable about the places we visited, and was happy and adept at discovering additional places to visit to fit our interests. In addition, the driver also spoke good English, drove well and safely, and also was helpful in support of the guide. We also had a very nice lunch in a beautiful and peaceful restaurant. All in all, this was without doubt the best tour we had in Japan.
The tour comprised a married couple and a friend - all fairly elderly, but the guide made sure we were able to see all the important sight seeing aspects of the tour.

We were picked up from a nearby hotel to our own hotel. we were picked up with a bus which goes to our actual transport bus. There were around 3 or four busses which were to same direction to mount FUJI all together 100 people only from the same company which is GRAY LINE.
First stop was mount Fuji 4th station. (We were told that 5th station was closed due to weather conditions, which is OK) however the problem was to enter 4th station it took 40 minutes, as I believe there were many other tours.
Super crowded, people were on top of each other to take pictures of Fuji view. The queue in front of the toilet was long impossible to use.
Indeed we were only given 20 minutes in the area.
By the time you get off and on the bus is already a lot of time passed.
After that next station was lunch break, it was given only 30 minutes, which I am glad we requested no lunch as well.
When we goy on the boat on lake Ashi, there was no place to sit down, boat was overcrowded obviously we stood indoors.
Overall I wanted to see mount FUJI close by which was done.
But it was rushed and very crowded. Tour guide was robotic overall no enthusiasm.
If you are OK with such tight schedule and dont mind being rushed everywhere it is alright.
I believe these kind of tours have a limited quota and not oversold just for money.
End of the day it was over 100 dollars per person still with no lunch.
You might better do the tour by yourself or pay more and find a private kinda tour.

I participated with my middle and high school children. While enjoying the scenery along the way, the guide kindly shared stories about the area, highlights of the spots we were heading to, and how to get around. We were able to enjoy our free time at a leisurely pace. The guide's interesting stories kept the children engaged and listening seriously.

The lunch was plentiful and very delicious. Despite having eaten pork buns, croquettes, and dumplings, the children finished everything. The hands-on experience of making senbei was also well-received.

I usually travel by car, and this was my first bus tour, but I felt like I could experience the land more leisurely than on my usual trips. I was delighted by the scenery of Shirakawa-go, which I had wanted to visit for many years.

The guide, interpreter, and driver were all warm and friendly, which made for a very pleasant experience. Although the weather was unfortunately rainy at times, thanks to the staff, I was able to enjoy myself thoroughly. Bus tours are great! I would like to use them again.

中高生の子供と参加しました。道中景色を見ながら、この地方の話、これから向かうスポットの見所、回り方をガイドさんが丁寧に話して下さり、自由行動もゆっくり楽しむことができました。ガイドさんが興味深いお話を上手にして下さるので、子供達も真剣に聞いていました。
お昼ご飯は量も多く、とても美味しかったです。子供達は豚まんやコロッケ、団子、、食べていたにも関わらず完食でした。せんべい手焼き体験も好評でした。
普段車での旅行で、バスツアーは初めてだったのですが、いつもの旅行より、ゆったりと土地を感じられた気がします。長年訪ねたかった白川郷、景色にほっこりとしました。
ガイドさん、通訳さん、運転手さん、温かく声をかけて下さり、とても気持ちが良かったです。あいにくの雨が降ったり止んだりの天気でしたが、スタッフの方々のおかげで、十分楽しめました。バスツアーいいですね。また利用したいと思いました。

He is exceptional person and made ride our fun, informative about japan.
I would go anytime with him being our guide.

I wanted to sit in a seat with a good view, so I opted for the ticket that includes admission to the Gunkanjima Digital Museum, which comes with a priority boarding pass. However, if you're lucky, you might still get a good seat without it. The Gunkanjima Digital Museum was great, so I recommend the ticket that includes admission, even though it's more expensive. As long as it's during the museum's operating hours on the day of your visit, you can re-enter with the re-entry ticket you received.

First, I watched a video at the Digital Museum while listening to a guide who actually lived there. I heard some quite realistic stories. Then, like a field trip, we were guided in order of our numbers to the port for boarding. The outside seats have a great view, but they can be a bit cold and you might get splashed. They provide raincoats specifically for those seats, so I recommend wearing one for warmth; in fact, almost everyone was wearing one.

If you don't mind sacrificing photo opportunities for comfort, I think the inside seats are a good choice. Once we landed, we had a tour of the island led by a veteran guide who is around 80 years old and actually lived there. I heard interesting and engaging stories. The ruins are breathtaking, and it's no wonder they became a World Heritage site. Although we only had about an hour on the island, it was still enough time. I'm really glad I was able to land on Gunkanjima. The boat didn't sway as much as I expected.

Don't underestimate the Gunkanjima Digital Museum. There are some quite interesting exhibits and videos. I especially recommend the 360° VR experience in the restricted area on the third floor. Gunkanjima is definitely a place you should see. I highly recommend this tour.

見晴らしのいい席に座りたかったので、優先乗車券がもらえる
軍艦島デジタルミュージアム入館チケット付きのにしました。
でも運がよければ、それじゃなくてもいい席に座れるかもですが、
軍艦島デジタルミュージアムもよかったので
入館付きチケットの方が高いけどオススメです。
参加日の営業時間までなら、もらった再入場チケットで入れます。
まずはデジタルミュージアムで映像を見ながら
実際に住んでいたガイドさんの話を聞きました。
けっこうリアルな話が聞けました。
そして遠足のように整理番号順に並んで港まで案内され、乗船。
外の席は見晴らしがいいけど、少し寒くてしぶきがかかりますが、
その席専用のレインコートがあるので、防寒の意味も含めて
着ることをすすめます。ていうかほとんど全員着てました。
写真を撮ることにこだわらず、快適さを選ぶなら船内の席でよいと思います。
そして上陸。実際に住んでいたという80歳くらいのベテランガイドさんの
案内で島内見学。興味深くて面白い話が聞けました。
廃墟の風景は世界遺産になっただけあって、圧巻です。
１時間弱くらいしか上陸時間がありませんが、それでも十分です。
軍艦島に上陸できて本当によかったです。船も思ったより揺れません。
軍艦島デジタルミュージアムも侮るなかれ。
なかなか面白い展示や映像があります。
特に3階にある立入禁止区域内を見られる360°のVRが特にオススメです。
軍艦島は絶対に見た方がいいです。
このツアーはオススメです。
