The mangrove cruise had a guide whose explanations were very easy to understand, allowing us to truly appreciate the beauty of nature. The water buffalo cart ride to Yubu Island was charming, and the water buffalo were very cute. In particular, the water buffalo named Rui was gentle and soothing to be around. We also got to meet a baby water buffalo, which made for a precious experience. The lunch featured local specialties, and it was delicious. It became a wonderful memory.

In my case, I've seen the mangroves on Iriomote Island several times, so I only wanted to go to Yubu Island, but all the tours, including this one, also include the mangroves (laughs). So, once again, I ended up seeing the mangroves for about an hour, but this time there were flowers blooming and many new shoots, which made it a different experience from the usual cruise, and I really enjoyed it. The journey to Yubu Island was also fun as we rode a water buffalo cart while listening to the sound of the sanshin. The lunch was delicious, and the staff treated us very well. It was a tour I would definitely want to take again when I visit Ishigaki Island.
西表島はタクシーが２台しか無いそうでバスもほぼ無いので由布島に行きたい場合はツアーしかありません。私の場合西表島のマングローブは何度か見てるので由布島にだけ行きたかったのですが、こちらのツアーや他のツアーも全てマングローブが入って来ます（笑）なので、今回もまたマングローブを1時間ほど見る羽目になったのですが今回はマングローブにお花が咲いていたり新芽が沢山あったりいつものクルーズとはまた違う表情が見れて楽しかったです。由布島までの道のりも水牛車で三線の音色を聴きながら楽しく過ごしました。お弁当も美味しかったしスタッフの皆さんにも良くして頂きました。また石垣島に来た時は是非お願いしたいツアーでした。

We requested a private taxi for the last day of our trip. The driver shared stories about the island's flowers and humorously explained the sights along the way to our desired locations, which made it enjoyable. The roads were safe, and he took shortcuts, efficiently taking us to all the places we wanted to visit. We were even able to see sea turtles twice. Above all, the driving was gentle. I chose this tour because I wanted to go to Mount Aso and Takachiho from Kumamoto. It was disappointing that I couldn't see anything at Mount Aso due to the fog, but Takachiho Gorge was very beautiful. We also stopped by Amano Iwato Shrine, and the lunch had a variety of dishes and was fairly tasty.

Experiencing three islands in one day, including a mangrove tour, was wonderful. Yufu Island is definitely a must-visit, and the island itself was very nice. However, there were some people who weren't very skilled with the sanshin, which was a bit disappointing, and the different sounds coming from several carts created a chaotic atmosphere, so that service might not be necessary. Also, the shop on Iriomote Island was closed when we wanted to go back, and there wasn't enough time on the way there, so I would like them to consider the timing better.
As for the main attraction, Taketomi Island, the explanation from the young male guide on the cart was very monotonous and lacked enthusiasm. It felt like he was just reciting a script without engaging, which I thought was a waste of time. I would have liked some guidance on renting bicycles and other activities once we arrived on the island. Overall, while it is more efficient than exploring everything on your own, there are some tight time constraints if you want to relax. Additionally, since there are beaches, it would be nice to have a suggestion to bring swimwear.

I arrived at Kyoto Station by Shinkansen and headed to the taxi stand at Hachijo Exit. There was a separate waiting line for reserved taxis, and the taxi arrived right on time.
Having a chartered taxi for sightseeing with my elderly mother was the best choice; even in May, the summer heat was intense, and it was a relief for me too!
I had planned a course with four temples that had fewer stone steps, making it easier for the elderly to walk. However, on the day, the driver suggested some changes, and we visited Chishaku-in → Sennyu-ji → Shogunzuka → Eikando → back to the hotel, arriving exactly four hours later. We had plenty of time to explore each temple.
Normally, I would use buses or the subway, but when traveling with the elderly, a sightseeing taxi is truly convenient. Plus, they can take pictures for you, so depending on your needs, I think you can enjoy a more fulfilling sightseeing experience.
I heard that it's also recommended for cherry blossom and autumn foliage illuminations, so I would like to try it next time.

一般客の行列とは別レーンに予約者専用の待ち列があり、お約束の時間にタクシーが到着
高齢の母を連れての観光に、貸切タクシー最高、5月なのに真夏の暑さで私も救われました！
さて、コースは石段が少なくてお年寄りにも歩きやすいお寺を４つ考えていましたが、当日運転手さんのご提案で変更も加え、智積院→泉涌寺→将軍塚→永観堂→宿泊ホテルへというコースで、ぴったり4時間後にホテルに到着。それぞれのお寺で観光時間も十分でした。
普段はバスや地下鉄で回りますが、お年寄りと一緒の場合は観光タクシーは本当に楽ちんで、お写真も撮っていただるので、目的に応じて利用すると、より充実した観光が楽しめると思いました。
桜や紅葉のライトアップのはしごなどにも、おススメとお聞きしたので、次回、利用してみたいと思いました。

At the Okurayama Jump Stadium, we had an hour, and since the lift wasn't crowded, we bought a lift ticket along with a ticket for the Olympic Museum. However, we hardly had any time to see the museum and rushed out in about 2-3 minutes to catch the bus. I thought it might have been better to choose just one of the two. 😅 At the outer market, I enjoyed a delicious seafood bowl. 😊 The Shiroi Koibito Park had beautiful flowers, and I was able to buy some souvenirs. 🙌 Thank you for a wonderful time! 🙇♀️

I used this service for a family trip. When I communicated the places I wanted to visit in advance, they thoughtfully considered the travel time and planned accordingly.
