Since there were no other participants besides us, we had a trekking experience where adjustments were made to the meeting place and walking pace. While walking, we enjoyed explanations about Yakushima's history and nature, as well as time for taking photos and having our pictures taken. Thank you very much for the wonderful time.

We visited Higashi Chaya District, Kenrokuen, Kanazawa Castle, Oyama Shrine, and Nagamachi Samurai District (the last one was viewed from the car).
It was a typical rainy day in Kanazawa, and the group mainly consisted of alumni from the Kanto region.

Although it was a short five-hour trip, we enjoyed a smooth round trip drive to the Churaumi Aquarium. It might have been just luck that we had a great staff member, but I recommend this for those who want to take a nap while traveling, enjoy sightseeing, or drink while sightseeing without worrying about the people they're with! I definitely recommend it to family and friends!

I was very satisfied with both the guide and the tour content! It was my first solo trip and my first trekking experience, but I was able to return safely⭐︎

I'll leave some notes for reference.
【My Information】
* 26 years old
* I haven't exercised at all since starting work
* I was involved in sports clubs until high school and I love sports

【Reference Information】
- Breakfast and lunch were provided by the accommodation.
- I borrowed three pieces of climbing gear (shoes, rainwear top and bottom, and a backpack).
- I also added the following after confirming by phone:
→ A light (I had a handheld light, but I think a headlamp would be better for climbing as it keeps your hands free. The usage time isn't long, but since it's a mountain path, I thought it would be better for beginners to have both hands available♪)
→ A trekking pole (I hardly used this. It depends on personal preference, but I found it easier to maintain balance and move by using my hands to climb and descend. I think it's better for those who are concerned about their knees.)
- I climbed on a sunny day in November, and since it got hot and cold, I wore clothes that allowed for temperature regulation (a thin down jacket under the rainwear, a long-sleeve T-shirt, and Montbell's medium-thick Geoline underneath). For the bottom, I wore long tights that I used in sports clubs under the rainwear.

・トイレは登山口に1箇所、登ってる途中に2箇所ありました。携帯用トイレは使わなかったですが、お守りとして持って行ってました。

Even though I had been to Kyoto before, I hadn't done any sightseeing with a guide, so it was great to have the driver as a guide. It was also helpful to have someone take photos for me.

I thought it would be difficult to find a place for lunch during my trip to Kyoto in November, so I brought a bento with me and got into the taxi. The driver took me to a park where I could eat my bento, which saved me unnecessary time.

Since it was my first time in Kyushu, I really enjoyed the driver's guidance, conversations about history, and explanations about the area on the way to our destination. In today's world, we can get a lot of information online, but the stories from a local driver truly captured the essence of the place and added a live feel to the experience, which was very enjoyable. My mother and I were very satisfied. The driver also responded to our requests to see Kumamoto Castle from the car and suggested a great sightseeing route to Kurokawa Onsen, providing detailed guidance. On the first day, we trekked to Jomon Sugi, and on the second day, we explored Shiratani Unsuikyo. I had very little mountain climbing experience, so I was quite anxious about my physical stamina, but my excitement outweighed my worries, and I had an incredible experience without any hardships.

The journey to Jomon Sugi started in complete darkness, but as the sky gradually brightened, the sight of the majestic Yakusugi and the sense of achievement upon reaching Jomon Sugi made me truly feel that it was worth coming here!

Shiratani Unsuikyo had many rocky areas and steep inclines, but the greenery of the moss and the beautiful streams were stunning, and the view from Taiko Rock was breathtaking. I would love to visit again in a different season.

Both days, our guide was very kind, and we had a great time.

1日目は縄文杉、2日目は白谷雲水峡の連日のトレッキング。
ほとんど登山経験がなかったため、体力的にもかなり不安でしたが、楽しみの方が勝り、辛い思いなどなく、とても素晴らしい体験ができました。
縄文杉は、出発は真っ暗な時間からですが、だんだん空が明るくなってくる景色や、迫力のある屋久杉、縄文杉に到着したときの達成感、本当に来て良かった〜！と思いました。

また違う季節にも来てみたいですね。

Since I was staying in the Miyanoura area, I had a pickup at 4 AM and arrived at the Arakawa Trailhead at 5:40 AM. After having breakfast, we departed at 6:15 AM. We did some warm-up exercises as instructed by our guide. There were some tours that started trekking without warm-up exercises, but thanks to these warm-ups, we finished without any injuries. The Jomon Sugi trekking included several breaks along the way, and we returned to the Arakawa Trailhead at 3:45 PM. I was also happy that the guide took photos along the way and shared them with us via LINE at the end. It was tough due to the heavy rain, but it became a great memory!

１０日から全国的に気温が下がり白川郷はあいにくの雨模様でした。新幹線で降り立った金沢は雨の日が比較的多いとのことですね。今回、２泊３日の予定で初日に白川郷,２日目に金沢観光で計画。事前に天候が悪い様なので白川郷を２日目に変更しようかと・・・。でも金沢観光の方が歩く距離が長いので予定通りで決断、決行しました。タクシーの車内では会話が弾み途中渋滞もありましたが、Ｊさんのおかげで楽しい初日となりました。紅葉も進み小雨でしたが全く苦にならず、気温が最適だったので前日の夏日よりは歩きやすかったのではないかと想像します。この時期にしては白川郷も若干空いていたようですし。予定を変更しなかったおかげで２日目の金沢名所巡りも曇りやや晴れで丁度良かったですし、観光案内が上手な運転手にも恵まれ快適なツアーとなりました。ありがとうございました。
