On a clear day from Cape Hedo, you can see Yoron Island, and during the journey to Cape Hedo, you can enjoy a leisurely bus ride with the sea on your left and mountains on your right.

Although the travel time to the northernmost point of Okinawa Island is a bit long, resulting in shorter stays at each sightseeing spot, we have ensured that the interior of the bus is spacious and comfortable so you can fully enjoy that limited time at each location.

The lunch buffet at JAL Private Resort Okuma has received high praise from many customers. The beach features beautiful white sand, and the clear sea is stunning, so I recommend taking a little stroll after lunch and then enjoying a nap on the bus until you arrive at the Churaumi Aquarium.

The day trip bus tour to Cape Hedo and the Oishi Forest Mountain at the northernmost tip of Okinawa Island is unique, and I believe you were able to fully enjoy the nature of the Yanbaru region, which aims to be registered as a World Natural Heritage site. While it can be a bit challenging to reach these places on your own, the bus tour allows you to relax during the journey, giving you plenty of time to enjoy each sightseeing spot! The sea at the northernmost tip has a deep blue color that is different from the blue of resort areas, and I hope you were able to see the waters where the East China Sea meets the Pacific Ocean. Since the weather was good, you might have also caught a glimpse of Yoronjima in Kagoshima Prefecture.

Okinawa Ocean Expo Park has many attractions, including the Churaumi Aquarium, so two hours might have felt a bit rushed.

The "Yanbaru" area, designated as Yanbaru National Park and aiming for registration as a World Natural Heritage site, offers a different experience from the beach resort's sea. At Cape Hedo, you can see the deep blue sea and, on clear days, even Yoron Island in Kagoshima Prefecture. At Daishirinsan, a power spot, you can witness a different aspect of Okinawa, which is often associated with the "sea." Although it's about 120 km from Naha, making it quite tiring to drive one way, the charm of the bus tour is that you can relax, enjoy the scenery from the window, recharge your energy with some sleep, and spend your time leisurely without worrying about fatigue.

The lunch buffet at JAL Private Okuma has received positive feedback. The menu changes according to the season and events, featuring Okinawan cuisine, the hotel's special curry, and desserts. We appreciate your feedback regarding the insufficient time spent at Daichi Forest, and I would like to provide an explanation on that point. The calculation is based on our bus arriving at the parking lot with the ticket office, allowing for one hour. However, after disembarking from our bus, you will need to take a shuttle bus to the entrance of Daichi Forest, which takes about 10 minutes one way, so we estimate a total travel time of about 20 minutes round trip. This leaves approximately 40 minutes from the entrance.

Since the estimated time for each route in Daichi Forest is about 30 to 35 minutes, we believed that this would allow enough time to complete one route. However, if you wish to take photos or enjoy the scenery more leisurely, it may not be sufficient. We will consider making improvements, such as adjusting the stay duration to better match the time spent on the shuttle bus, so that you can enjoy your visit more comfortably.

Did you get a chance to see the chapel by the beach?

Many guests tend to take a nap on the bus during the approximately one-hour ride from Okuma to the Churaumi Aquarium, and once you arrive, you can enjoy two full hours there.

However, on the day of your tour, due to a malfunction with the audio guide device, you and the other participants were unable to hear the guidance. We sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience this caused you and all the participants.

Additionally, although the tour conductor was inexperienced, it is unacceptable that they departed without counting the number of customers, given that they hold the necessary qualifications. We also acknowledge your feedback regarding the unclear explanations provided by the tour conductor, which caused confusion among customers. Driving from Naha to Cape Hedo, the northernmost point of Okinawa Island, or to the Daichi Forest Park can be very tiring, even if you rent a car. The Yanbaru area, designated as "Yanbaru National Park" in September, aims to be registered as a World Natural Heritage site. As you headed towards Cape Hedo while enjoying the beautiful sea on your left, I hope you felt a lot of energy at the power spot, Daichi Forest Park. After being rejuvenated at the popular Churaumi Aquarium, everyone must have been sound asleep on the way back from the tour.

Did the trekking at Daichi Forest Park leave you wanting a bit more? Depending on the season, the lunch buffet featured some vegetables and ingredients that may not be familiar to those from the mainland, along with Okinawan dishes (such as champuru, rafute, and jushi), hotel-special curry, fruits, and desserts.
