I was really looking forward to my first Segway experience, and it truly was a fun time.

First, we confirmed the basic operations and practiced going around in circles, turning left and right, and reversing. The guide was friendly and entertaining, and while making us laugh, they taught us step by step in a way that was easy for beginners to understand, allowing us to master it quickly. We then explored within Bunna Park for about an hour and a half. Riding the Segway for the first time was comfortable and refreshing; I felt like I could ride it forever. The guide also took the time to let us take photos along the way, which I appreciated. They even filmed a video in the square. Additionally, we took a break to enjoy some tea and rice crackers, and the guide creatively made shapes like grasshoppers, roses, and fish with grass, which was fun. The time flew by.

I have three pieces of advice for those who will participate in the future:
1. Be mindful of your hairstyle since you'll be wearing a helmet.
2. Women should avoid long skirts or gauchos, as flowing hems can be a hindrance.
3. Although you won't feel it while riding, you may experience slight muscle soreness in your legs the next day, so I recommend doing some warm-up exercises.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great this time, but I think the views would be even more amazing on a nice day. Thank you for a fun and valuable experience.

初めてのセグウェイだったのでとても楽しみにしていましたが、本当に楽しいひと時でした。

最初に基本操作を確認しながら、その場で一周したり、右左折したり後退したりなどの練習を行います。
ガイドの方が気さくで面白く、笑いを交えながらも、初心者にも分かりやすいように一から丁寧に教えてくださり、すぐに乗りこなすことができました。
そして、バンナ公園の中を1時間半程度散策しました。
初めて乗るセグウェイは乗り心地がよく爽快で、このままずっと乗っていたいくらいでした。
途中で何度かガイドの方が写真撮影の時間を設けてくださり、有り難かったです。
広場で動画も撮影してくださりました。
また、途中で休憩を挟み、お茶とお煎餅をいただき、さらにそこで草を編んでバッタや薔薇、魚などの形を創作してくださったりし、楽しかったです。
あっという間の時間でした。

これから参加される方へのアドバイスとしては３点あります。
①ヘルメットを被るので髪型に注意
②女性はロングスカートやガウチョなど、裾がひらひらしたものは邪魔になるため避ける
③乗ってる間は感じないが次の日に脚が軽い筋肉痛になったため、準備運動を推奨

今回は天気があまり思わしくなく残念でしたが、天気の良い日はより最高な景色が見られるかと思います。

I've been to Asakusa many times, but it was my first time riding in a rickshaw. The view from the rickshaw was different from usual, and I really enjoyed it. The rickshaw puller kindly stopped at various points to explain things and took pictures for us, which made me very satisfied. I would like to use this service again if I have the chance.

This was my second visit to Ishigaki Island for diving, following last year. Since I explored various tourist spots last year, I decided to dedicate the extra time to activities this year, and I found this tour! Although I had seen it on TV and at events, I had never actually experienced it, so I was really looking forward to it.

The forecast predicted rain for the day, but luckily it turned sunny and hot! I was told that if it had rained, they would have had to cancel due to slippery conditions, so I was glad it was clear!

We started with about 30 minutes of practice together. I was a bit anxious about riding the Segway for the first time, but our encouraging guide helped everyone master it quickly. Any initial worries disappeared, and we enjoyed the practice! Now, off to the Banna Forest!

Once we hit the course, we felt the refreshing wind as we zoomed along on the Segway! At various points, we listened to explanations about plants and insects, took photos at scenic spots, and had breaks to avoid fatigue. During the break, we enjoyed some tea and rice crackers, which were delicious! By the second half, everyone had gotten used to the Segway, picking up speed and maneuvering freely. At the end, we had some free time on the grass at the starting point, and everyone was having fun riding around.

Hmm, I want a Segway!!! Even if that's not possible, it would be great if we could ride them easily in more places.

The two hours flew by, and I was completely satisfied! I hope to visit again next time!

　昨年に続きダイビングの為に訪れた２度目の石垣島。昨年はいろいろと島の観光地を巡ったため今年は余った時間をアクティビティに当てようということで見つけたのがこのツアー！！テレビやイベントなどで見かけたことはあっても実際触れることはなかったので凄く楽しみでした。
　当日雨の予報でしたが、運良く晴れになり日差しが暑いぐらいに...雨だったら滑って危ないので中止にするところでしたって言われたので晴れて良かった～！
　始めの30分程度はみんなで練習。初めて乗るセグウェイに少し不安でしたが褒め上手なガイドさんにのせられてみんなどんどん運転をマスターできました。はじめの不安など無かったように楽しんで練習終了！！さあ、いよいよバンナの森に出発！
　コースに出ると風を気持ちよく感じながらセグウェイで疾走！途中いろいろなポイントで植物や昆虫の説明を聞き、景色のいいところで写真も撮ってもらい、疲れないように休憩を挟んでくれました。休憩ではお茶と煎餅をいただきましたがとてもおいしかったですよ！後半はみんなセグウェイにも慣れてきてスピードも出し自由に操れるようになってましたね。最後はスタート地点の芝生の上での自由行動みんな思い思いにセグウェイ操ってました。
　う～んセグウェイ欲しい！！！　それは無理だとしても、もっともっといろいろな場所で手軽に乗れるようになるといいですよね。
　あっという間の2時間でしたが大満足できました！！ぜひ次の機会にも訪れた時はよろしくお願いしますね。
　

On my first trip with my girlfriend, we went to Ishigaki Island. We joined this tour because we could experience the Segway, which has been a hot topic recently on TV. Since it was my first time, I struggled to get used to it, but thanks to the staff's thorough instructions, I was able to grasp the technique, and within 15 minutes, I was riding it confidently. After the basic lecture, we set off! Right after we started, I was overwhelmed by the magnificent nature of Banna Park. The moment I rode the Segway through the grand nature was an indescribable thrill. When we climbed to a high point, we could see the streets of Ishigaki Island, making it a great spot for commemorative photos. Additionally, the staff took pictures at various points, allowing us to capture memorable moments. After we finished touring around Banna Park, we had some free time on the grass. By that time, I was able to ride the Segway freely, so I enjoyed speeding up and making sharp turns. The two-hour tour went by in no time. I would definitely love to participate again!

彼女との初めての旅行で石垣島へ。テレビなどで最近話題のセグウェイが体験できるということでこのツアーに参加しました。
初めての体験だったのでなかなか慣れない中、スタッフの方の丁寧なレクチャーによりコツつかむことができ、15分も経てば乗りこなすことができました。基本的なレクチャーが終わり、いざ出発です！出発して早々、バンナ公園の壮大な自然に圧倒されました。壮大な自然の中をセグウェイで風を切る瞬間は言葉にできないほどの快感でした。高台まで登ると石垣島の街並みが一望できるので記念撮影にはオススメです。また、ポイント、ポイントでスタッフの方が写真を撮ってくださるので思い出の瞬間をしっかりと収めることもできます。
バンナ公園の中を一通り周り終えると、芝の上で自由な時間になります。その頃にはセグウェイも自由自在に乗りこなせているので、スピードを出して楽しんだり、急転回などをして楽しんだりできます。2時間のツアーでしたが本当にあっという間でした。是非ともまた参加させていただきたいです！

We participated in a Segway tour with two women!

It started to rain at the meeting time, and we were worried if the tour would go ahead, but we put on our raincoats and the briefing began (we had our own raincoats prepared, but it seems they are available on-site if you don't bring one).

After about a 30-minute briefing, we set off on the tour in light rain! At first, we were a bit nervous, but our guide, Michael (a Japanese person), kept making dad jokes from start to finish, making the tour fun and enjoyable. Before we knew it, the rain stopped, and we had a blast speeding through Bannai Park. There were about three breaks along the way, and Michael treated us to tea and salt rice crackers. There are lockers available, so you can participate with just your camera (or phone) during the tour (it might be best to have a strap to hang it around your neck). There were also restrooms available throughout the park.

Michael skillfully made various things from the different plants growing in the park, making it feel like we were watching a magic show. Unfortunately, we didn't encounter any, but if you're lucky, you might see turtles and other animals. The tour ended in no time, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable two hours! We talked about wanting to participate again with friends. I've visited Ishigaki Island many times, but this Segway experience made it the best stay I've ever had.

集合時間に雨が降り出し、ツアー催行できるか不安でしたがレインコートを着て講習が始まりました(私たちは自前のレインコートを準備していましたが、持参していなくても現地で準備されているようです)。


30分程度の講習終了後、小雨降る中ツアーへ出発！最初は恐る恐るでしたが、ガイドの自称マイケルさん(日本人)が最初から最後まで親父ギャグ連発で面白おかしく案内してくれ、気づけば雨も上がりとっても楽しくバンナ公園内を疾走しました。展望台などで途中休憩も3回ほどあり、マイケルさんからお茶と塩せんべいの差し入れがありました。ロッカーもありますのでツアー中はカメラ(携帯)だけもって参加できます(首から下げられるようにストラップをつけているとベストかもしれません)。随所にトイレもありましたよ。

公園内に生えている様々な植物でマイケルさんが器用に色々なものを作ってくれ、まるで手品を見ているような気分でした。残念ながら私たちは出会えませんでしたが、運が良ければ亀や動物たちにも出会えるそうです。
ツアー行程はあっという間に終了してしまいましたが大満喫の2時間でした！友人とまた是非とも参加したいねと話しています。石垣島は何度も訪れていますがセグウェイ体験で今までで一番最高の滞在となりました。

I finally got to try out the Segway, something I had wanted to do for a long time! Before starting, I was worried about whether I could ride it well, but thanks to the detailed explanations on how to ride and safety tips, I was able to ride it easily! Plus, our guide, Michael (who is Japanese), kept cracking dad jokes, which made the explanations fun.

Before heading out on the course, we practiced a bit, and then it was time to go! We rode around on the Segway while learning about the plants and taking commemorative photos. At first, we moved slowly until we got used to it, and then we picked up speed as we continued on the course.

Since it was in a park, there were hardly any cars, and as long as we were careful of pedestrians, there were no issues! At various photo spots and rest areas, we got off the Segway to take breaks, which helped us avoid getting tired.

I participated in the evening, so it wasn't too hot, and I enjoyed speeding along comfortably! At the end, they even filmed a video for us, and I was completely satisfied with the experience! Two hours felt too short; it was such a fun time! I definitely want to participate again.

植物の説明や記念撮影をしながら、セグウェイに乗って一周。慣れるまではゆっくりと移動して貰い、慣れてきたらスピードを出しながら、コースを移動。
公園内の為、車まほとんど走ってなく、歩行者の方に気を付ければ、問題なし！
途中、撮影ポイントや休憩場所ではセグウェイから降りて、疲れないように調整してくれます。
今回、夕方の参加だったので、暑くもなく気持ち良くスピードを出しながら、楽しませて頂きました！
最後はムービー撮影までして貰い、至れり尽くせりで大満足です！
2時間じゃ物足りないくらい楽しい時間でした！また是非参加したいです。

We participated as a family of four! I was worried that my wife might not meet the weight requirement, but after some practice, we were able to challenge ourselves and join in. On the day of the event, the weather was bad, and I was concerned, but we managed to complete about 80% of it. [It suddenly rained, and a typhoon developed.] At first, I was quite nervous, but the instructor was a lot of fun, and there was always laughter. Riding the Segway in a line behind the instructor felt just like a mother duck with her ducklings (laughs). We had a very meaningful and enjoyable experience. The instructor has left us with wonderful memories, and I would like to try again. I have enjoyed various tours so far, but this was the best Segway experience. Thank you very much!

妻が体重不足で乗れるか心配でしたが、実施練習して出来ればOKとの事でチャレンジしたら参加できる事になり*\(^o^)/*当日の天候悪く、心配しましたが、なんとか80%を消化出来ました。〔雨が突然降り、台風発生により〕最初は恐る恐るでしたが、教官が大変楽しい方で、常に笑いが絶えませんでした*\(^o^)/*、セグウェイに乗り教官を先頭に4人後ろに並んでの走行は、まさにカルガモの親子(笑)
大変有意義に楽しんできました。教官の事は、楽しい思い出となり、再挑戦をしたいと思っております。今迄いろんなツアーを楽しみましたが、【セグウェイ最高】お世話になりました。m(_ _)m

You can see from the photos that it had quite a surreal appearance, but the horseback riding lesson and the outdoor ride were very satisfying. The price is reasonable compared to others, and they give you plenty of time, so I highly recommend it.

写真でお分かりになると思いますが、なかなかシュールな外観でしたが、乗馬のレクチャーと外乗りはたいへん満足のいくものでした。値段も他と比べるとお手頃で時間もたっぷり使ってくれるので、オススメです。

I arrived at the location earlier than my reservation time, but I was able to board right away. Thanks to the careful driving of the driver, Mr. Ota, I had a safe and comfortable experience. The pleasant feeling of the wind on the vehicle and the distance to the slowly passing scenery is something you might not understand until you experience it. He also shared historical stories and took photos at key points, making it perfect for my trip with my mother.

We toured places like Hōkoku-ji on the one-hour course, and it seems they are flexible in accommodating where you want to go when you consult with them on-site. I highly recommend giving it a try!

予約時間より早く現地に着いてしまったのですが、直ぐに乗車させていただきました。車夫の太田さんの安全に配慮ある走行で、安心・快適な時間を過ごせました。車上で感じる風やゆっくりと過ぎる景色との距離感の心地よさは経験しないとわからないかもしれません。歴史のお話やポイントで写真も撮ってくれるので、母との二人旅行には最適でした。
私達は１時間コースで報国寺などを観光しましたが、現地で行きたいところを相談すると臨機応変に対応してくれるようです。是非体験してみてください。おススメです。

I've always wanted to ride a rickshaw. It's recommended to hop on as soon as you arrive since they guide you around the city. I had a wonderful time experiencing the charm of it all.

ずっと乗りたかった人力車。街を案内してくれながら回るので、着いてすぐ乗るのがオススメです。趣のある時間を過ごせました。

I was able to discuss and decide on the route, so I could go to my desired location.

At Zeniarai Benten, they accompanied me during the visit and taught me various things; it was easy to understand and enjoyable.

They took many photos, making it feel like a mini private tour.

I made a reservation for a course to explore Asakusa in a yukata. On the day of the tour, I received a call from the guide before the scheduled time, and I was able to smoothly meet up with the rickshaw at the designated time.

The person in charge was very friendly and cheerful, sharing interesting facts about Asakusa during the ride. I also appreciated the photo service at the scenic spots. Since this service is available not only in Asakusa but also at tourist destinations across the country, I definitely want to use it again.

浴衣での浅草散策にあたって、本コースを予約。当日は時間前に案内係りの方から電話が来て時間通りスムーズに乗車の人力車と合流することが出来ました。

担当の方は、とても気さくな明るい方で、乗車中も浅草の豆知識等を話してくれ、また写真ポイントでの撮影サービスも嬉しかったです。浅草だけでなく、全国の観光地にもあるということなので、また是非利用したいと思います。

This was our first time to ride a rickshaw, we joined the 12 minutes (was actually longer than 12 minutes) Kaminarimon course. The guide called us 10 minutes before our reservation time and met us in front the Kaminarimon, and then guided us to the rickshaw place. The rickshaw man was very friendly and professional, he explained every spot we passed by and also told us the stories of some famous spots. And of course we took many nice photos with the old Tokyo style background, the rickshaw men were also professional photographers! This was definitely one of our best experiences in Tokyo, and we strongly recommend it to you!

Starting from Chitose's Meisui Park, we cycled along a forest trail to Lake Shikotsu. The way there was mostly uphill, and there weren't any notable sights until we reached the lake. We had lunch near the lake and took a detour on the way back through a gravel forest path. The guide wasn't very good at explaining things, so it felt like we were just pedaling the whole time. There were some nice restaurants along the cycling route, so I think the tour could be improved by including more interesting stops, places to have lunch, or introducing beautiful spots to make it more memorable. To summarize, I believe the tour should: 1) include breaks for meals at notable restaurants along the way, 2) stop at must-see sights around Lake Shikotsu, and promote events during specific seasons, such as the salmon run or autumn foliage, which would require considerable effort from the tour organizers.

千歳の名水公園を起点に支笏湖までの林間サイクリングコースを行き来します。行きはほぼずっと登りで、支笏湖到達まで名所らしいものはありません。湖近くでランチを食べ、帰りは砂利道の林間道に寄り道します。ガイドさんが説明下手ということもあり、ひたすら自転車を漕いだという印象。サイクリング途中によさげなレストランがあったりしたので、もうちょっと寄り道するところ、ランチを食べるところなど印象に残るような、またはきれいな場所を紹介するなど、ツアーとして工夫すべき点があるように思えました。整理すると、①途中の名所やきれいなレストランでの食事休憩を入れる、②支笏湖のここは見ておくべきという名所にも立ち寄る、イベント時期、例えば鮭の途上期や紅葉の時期などアピールするなど、ツアー側の相当の努力が要ると思いました。

It would be too tough on us to walk around all the way. We had a nice breakfast at a cafe off the main road, and then took a break at nearby the main temple gate, having bought red-bean rice balls from a famous store which will usually is sold out in the morning. It was very fun. I think we covered quite a lot of ground.
By the way, more information on the bike parking lots would be appreciated.

Walking tours have their limits, so this time, cycling was comfortable. We had breakfast at a café just off the road, bought some ohagi that sells out by the morning, parked our bikes at the bike rack near the mountain gate, and took a moment to relax with the ohagi! 歩きでの観光は限界がありますので、今回の自転車での観光は快適でした。道を少し入った所の喫茶店でモーニングをしたり、午前中には売り切れてしまうというおはぎを購入して、山門の駐輪場に自転車をとめて、おはぎでほっと一息！
楽しかったです。
結構走りました。あっ！でも駐輪場の情報がもう少し欲しかったです。

Jun was a very good tour guide. I had a good time biking from Chitose to Shikotsuko and back. He gave me a choice for which off-road route to take on the way back as well. It was a very nice time. The bike was in great condition and Jun had even brought rain gear for me since it was sprinkling a bit (even though I had my own I wore this too just in case).

The entire journey took 5 hours. I thought the roads might be clear, so I used the service on a Sunday. The rental location was very close to Kyoto Station, which made me feel very secure when returning the bike. This was a big plus. Moreover, the bicycles were well-maintained, providing a sense of safety with the brakes and tires. They were completely different from the mama-chari bikes offered by hotels.

Kyoto is said to be laid out like a grid, and that was definitely true. Once I figured out the general directions, I felt I could get around much more efficiently than by train. Especially in the Higashiyama area, where there are many attractions but limited train access, I often end up walking around and getting tired, so I felt like I really got my money's worth.

The route allowed me to efficiently visit my desired spots in a clockwise direction, covering the north, south, east, and west. There were few hills, and there were also side streets with little traffic, which made for a safer ride than I expected. The only real hills were a bit around Higashiyama. Above all, I was able to enjoy the "everyday Kyoto" that isn't featured in guidebooks at a leisurely pace, making for a very meaningful experience. It was nice to see the city from a local perspective.

If it's your first time in Kyoto, renting a bike and exploring on your own might be a bit challenging. Initially, the classic bus tours or indulging a bit with a charter taxi would be more convenient and reassuring. However, for repeat visitors who might want to revisit certain places at a more leisurely pace, this bike rental is definitely worth it.

Route taken: Total of 5 hours (including 30 minutes for lunch)
1. North from Kyoto Station: Shijo (along Muromachi Street), Nijo Castle, Ichijo Modoribashi, and Kamigamo Shrine.
2. From Kamigamo Shrine southeast: Kitayama Station and Shimogamo Shrine.
3. From Shimogamo Shrine to Higashiyama: Kyoto University, Ginkaku-ji, Philosopher's Path, and Nanzen-ji.
4. From Nanzen-ji back to Kyoto Station: Heian Shrine, Chion-in, Maruyama Park, Gion (lunch), crossing the Kamo River, passing Higashi Hongan-ji, and then to Kyoto Station.

全行程５時間。道路も空いているかな、と思い日曜日に利用しました。借りる場所が京都駅からすぐ近く、ということもあり、戻ってくる際もとても安心して利用できました。これはポイント高かったです。また、なにより、かなり自転車がちゃんと整備されていて、ブレーキやタイヤから感じる安心感がありました。ホテルが貸してくれる、ママチャリとはぜんぜん違います。笑

京都は碁盤の目といわれますが、まさにその通りで、だいたいの方向がわかれば、電車よりもずっと効率よくまわることができたように思いました。特に東山地区は見所が多い割には電車の便がよくないため、結局歩き回って疲れる、というパターンなので、とても得した気分でした。

コースは、ほぼ東西南北を時計まわりに、いきたいところに効率よくいけました。坂道も少なく、また大きな通りのちょっと脇道には車通りの少ない道もあるので、思っていたよりも安全に走行できたのもよかったです。坂といえるような坂は東山あたりで少しあったぐらいでしょうか。なによりも、ガイドブックにのっていない「普段の京都」をゆっくり楽しみながらまわれて、とても有意義な時間をすごせました。ローカルの目線で街をみれたのもよかった。

はじめての京都だと、自転車を借りて自分であちこちまわるのはちょっと厳しいかもしれません。最初はやはり定番のバス観光やちょっとだけぜいたくをしてチャータータクシーがずっと便利で安心しょう。でもリピータの方なら、あそこをもう一度、もうちょっとゆっくりみたかった、という方には、この自転車レンタルはとても価値高いと思います。

まわったコース：計５時間（うち３０分ランチタイム）
１、京都駅から北上：四条（室町通り沿い）、二条城、一条戻橋、上賀茂（賀茂別雷）神社へ。
２、上賀茂神社から南東へ：北山駅、下鴨（賀茂御祖）神社へ。
３、下鴨神社から東山へ：京都大学、銀閣寺、哲学の道、南禅寺へ。
４、南禅寺から京都駅まで：平安神宮、知恩院、円山公園、祇園（ランチ）、鴨川を渡り、東本願寺を経て、京都駅へ。

前にGWに京都でサイクリングしようとしたところ、当日は予約がいっぱいで自転車を借りられなかった。今回は必ず事前に予約していこうと思ったが、当日の天気が雨なら予約しても、お金が無駄になってしまう。そこで見つけたのが、雨の場合には無料でキャンセルできるこのプランだった。実際には今年のGWは快晴でキャンセルはしなかったのだが、このシステムは優れていると思った！
