I booked an 8-hour taxi tour in Okinawa. The main destination was the Churaumi Aquarium, and while I conveyed my general preferences, I left the rest to the driver since I had no familiarity with the area. The departure point was close to Naha, so even though we spent a lot of time traveling, the driver created a relaxed atmosphere in the car, making it feel like a private vehicle. Overall, it was a very satisfying taxi tour. We visited the Churaumi Aquarium, Kouri Beach, American Beverage, and then International Street (where we got off), and the driver really went above and beyond. After sightseeing, we rented a car, but since the price wasn't much different, we should have just had them take us to the hotel and arranged for a ride back as well. It was very comfortable.
