Although our schedule didn't go as planned due to some shops being closed and having some unexpected downtime, the driver thoughtfully adjusted the itinerary and took us to various places. As a result, we were able to make new discoveries without wasting time and had a wonderful trip.
Even when we were late for our meeting time, the driver hurried to ensure we made it on time.
What stood out the most was that I didn't expect a guided tour, but the driver provided continuous information about Okinawa during our travels, which was very informative. I felt that alone made the private hire worthwhile.

The weather was rainy, and with the foggy scenery, we arrived at Fukue Port with low expectations. We utilized the regular sightseeing bus for an efficient tour around the island in the limited time we had! The guide's explanations were easy to understand, making for a comfortable journey on the bus! Each time we visited a landmark, the rain stopped, and the fog cleared, allowing us to enjoy the scenery, albeit just a little. Unfortunately, we weren't blessed with the clear weather to see the blue of Goto, which was disappointing. The transparent blue of the sea and the blue of the sky will have to wait for next time! While the scenery was disappointing, the food at the hotel where we stayed was very delicious and helped heal our travel fatigue. We also enjoyed dishes made with local ingredients. As a fan of alcohol, I savored the blissful moments with Goto sweet potato shochu and Goto grape wine (finished a whole bottle). The next morning, we returned from Fukue Port. I highly recommend the tempura from Hamaguchi Suisan as a souvenir! Enjoying the assorted five types with a beer while leisurely admiring the scenery on the boat is the best! Also, make sure not to forget the thick and plentiful Onisaba sushi; the bus guide highly recommended it, saying it was absolutely delicious, and it truly was exquisite! This time, although it was a one-night stay and a rainy trip, the high-speed boat made the journey from Nagasaki surprisingly close and comfortable! 天気は雨、靄って景色も期待できず福江港に到着。限られた時間で効率的に観光できる島内一周コースの定期観光バスを利用！ガイドさんの説明もわかりやすくバスでの快適旅行に!各名所を訪れる度、雨があがり靄も晴れて幸運にも景色もなんとか楽しめました。梅雨晴間の幸運には恵まれませんでしたので五島の青には会えず「残念」透き通る海の青や空の青、次回の楽しみに持ち越しです!景色は残念でしたが、宿泊したホテルの料理はとても美味しく旅の疲れを癒やしてくれました。地元食材の料理も美味しく頂きました。お酒好きの私には五島芋の焼酎、五島葡萄のワイン(一本完飲)で至福のひとときを堪能。翌朝、福江港で帰路。ここで絶対おすすめは浜口水産の天ぷら！是非お土産に!お試し五種盛とビールを船内でゆっくり景色を眺めながら一杯も最高です!また、肉厚たっぷりな鬼鯖鮨もお買い忘れ無いようにこれは、バスガイドさんからも絶対美味しいから是非とおすすめされていましたが、正に絶品でした!今回は一泊でかつ雨旅行でしたが高速艇での移動で思った以上に長崎から近く快適でした!次回またこの高速艇を利用してリベンジしたいと思います。〜福山雅治さんのファンより〜

We both wanted to enjoy Awamori during our distillery tour, so we requested an 8-hour course starting from our hotel in Naha City to Naha Airport.
On the way there, our driver shared local knowledge to match our energetic mood, and on the return trip, he drove quietly while we slept in the car, making for a very comfortable ride. Since I usually can't sleep in a friend's car because I feel like I have to be considerate, it was great to be able to relax and sleep in the taxi without hesitation.
When we visited tourist spots, he also shared interesting tidbits about the area, which was very enjoyable.
It was a whirlwind 2-day trip, but thanks to Mr. G, the second day was the best!
泡盛の酒造見学で2人とも泡盛を楽しみたかったので8時間コースで集合は那覇市内宿泊ホテルから到着は那覇空港までお願いしました。

On the last day of our trip to Okinawa, we checked out and chartered a taxi for 5 hours until our departure.
Unfortunately, the weather turned rainy, but the private taxi had a high ceiling and plenty of legroom, making it very luxurious and comfortable for just the two of us.
It was convenient to be able to charge our devices via USB in the car as well.
We also appreciated that umbrellas were provided.
If the weather had been nice, it would have been even better, but the convenience made us forget about that.

I thought that if the numbers of the large and small portions don’t match, it might mean someone fell into the sea.
The ship is equipped with a jet engine and moves at just under 80 km/h, so there were multiple announcements stating that "wearing a seatbelt is mandatory" during boarding. Since most of the hull is above the water, it sways less than a ferry. On the day I boarded, the wave simulator on the Weather JP site indicated that the waves were below 1 meter, with arrow sizes around 50 cm, but I didn’t feel any swaying.

During our trips to Okinawa, we usually moved around by rental car, which was fine for just the two of us. However, since we now have a small child, we planned this trip with a focus on staying at a resort hotel.
While we had the image of moving around by rental car in Okinawa, we decided to go without a rental car this time since we planned to spend more time at the hotel. On the last day, we reserved a charter taxi to take us from the hotel to the Churaumi Aquarium and two other locations before heading to the airport.
The taxi driver was kind, and we were able to enjoy our last day without any worries. The best part of using the charter taxi this time was that everything was easy. With a rental car, there’s the hassle of picking it up and returning it, searching for parking, and wanting to minimize wasted time on a trip with limited stay. However, with the charter taxi, there was no wasted time at all.
Additionally, during our taxi rides, we learned a lot of insider information about Okinawa that we wouldn’t have known while using a rental car, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We plan to go to Okinawa again next year, and it seems we will stick to staying at a resort hotel like this time, so I would like to use a charter taxi again. Thank you very much.

今回の貸切タクシーを利用して良かった点は基本的に全てが楽でした。
レンタカーの時は借りる返す際の手間、移動しても駐車場を探して停めての手間、滞在時間が限られている旅行では無駄な時間は減らしたいと思いますが、貸切タクシーでは無駄な時間はありませんでした。
また、タクシーでの移動中も沖縄のコアな話など、レンタカー利用時では知り得なかった情報を沢山教えて頂き、最高に楽しめました。
また来年も沖縄に行く予定ですが、今回と同じくリゾートホテル滞在が基本になりそうなので、また貸切タクシーを利用したいと思います。

First of all, I was glad that we could visit many places. The handling of the meeting point by the new guide was somewhat lacking. I felt a bit sad that even though I arrived early, my check-in was delayed. I hadn't particularly thought about it before, but it made me realize that veterans might be better at this kind of handling.
The course was excellent, and I received advice that it would be better to purchase lunch in advance for the Churaumi Aquarium in the afternoon, which allowed us to enjoy the experience smoothly. It was disappointing that our stay was cut from 3 hours to 2.5 hours, possibly due to traffic. It’s quite spacious, so it might be unavoidable. Everyone who heard the meeting time was disappointed.
I am always very satisfied with Veltra, no matter when or where I go. I would appreciate it if the guides could confidently entertain travelers.

I used this service for my return trip from Goto (the outbound trip was by air). The seat selection method is similar to that of an airplane, so if you have preferences, you can ask at the counter. If you want to disembark quickly, the aisle seats on the first floor are convenient. Although it's a high-speed ferry, I felt that the speed wasn't that remarkable.

I took a day trip to Fukue Island. For the outbound journey (Nagasaki to Fukue), I prioritized speed and took the jet foil, while for the return trip (Fukue to Nagasaki), I opted for the ferry to save on costs. The ferry tickets are numbered in the order of reservation, and it seems that passengers board according to their numbers, starting with the lowest.
This was my first time on a ferry without any seats; there were only a few carpeted areas. I was a bit surprised to see all the other passengers immediately lying down as soon as we set sail! I borrowed a blanket and a pillow and lay down as well. However, even though it was said to be a relatively calm day, I was still battling seasickness while lying down, which was tough for someone unaccustomed to it. Thankfully, since my boarding number was in the single digits, I was able to secure a position where I could lean against the wall, which was a relief.
For those who, like me, get seasick, I think it's better to choose the jet foil over the ferry, even if the fare is higher.

往路(長崎→福江)は早さ優先でジェットフォイル、復路(福江→長崎)はコスト優先でフェリーを利用しました。
フェリーのチケットには予約順(？)に番号が振られていて、番号が若いひとから乗船する決まりになっているようです。
椅子は設置されておらず、絨毯敷きの区画がいくつかあるだけでした。
船内に椅子が設置されていないフェリーに乗ったのはこれが初めてで、出航するなり周りの乗客が一斉に寝転び始める様子を見てちょっとビックリ！
わたしも毛布と枕を借りて横になりました。
しかし、腰が痛い上に(その日は揺れない方だったと言われても不慣れの者には)横になっていても船酔いとの闘い･･･
乗船順序が1桁だったおかげで、壁にもたれかけられる位置を確保できていたので、まだ救われました。

For the outbound trip (Nagasaki to Fukue), I took the jet foil, and for the return trip (Fukue to Nagasaki), I opted for the ferry.
The schedule stated "departure at 7:40, check-in at 7:10, 30 minutes prior," but I believe the counter opened around 7:15.
The ticket exchange went smoothly.
