On June 26, 2024, I took a boat ride down the Hozu River. It was the rainy season, and the previous day had been canceled, but today we were blessed with wonderfully refreshing weather that was neither too hot nor humid. From the moment I boarded, I was filled with excitement. The veteran boatman, perhaps? He skillfully guided us while facing backward and entertained the foreign guests in English. I had a great time and definitely want to go again. The boatman's biceps were impressive!

保津川下り遊船しました。梅雨の時期で前日は中止でしたが本日は見事に爽やかなな風に蒸し暑くもなく天候に恵まれました。乗った瞬間からワクワクどきどきでしたベテランの船頭さんでしょうか?随所で後ろ向きなのに案内され外国の方には英語で楽しませておられ、とても楽しく過ごせ、また必ず行きたい気持ちになりましたね

We were the only Japanese people on our first bus tour. Thanks to our charming guide who spoke Japanese and was very attentive, we were able to enjoy the tour, and I would love to participate again if the opportunity arises.

初めてのバスツアーで日本人は私達だけでした。日本語の出来る可愛らしいガイドさんの気配りで楽しくツアーを巡ることが出来て機会があればまた参加したいと思います。

Thank you for taking care of us over two days with the Takachiho tour, Dazaifu, and Oita hot springs. We were the only Japanese participants, but thanks to our guide who spoke Japanese, we were able to enjoy the tour without any difficulties. I would love to take part again if the opportunity arises.

高千穂ツアーに続き太宰府大&大分温泉と2日に渡りお世話になりました。日本人は私達だけでしたが日本語の出来るガイドさんの気配りで不自由なくツアーを楽しむ事が出来ました。また機会があればお世話になりたい思います。

Could see many places around Tokyo. Only thing is they don't allow to get off the bus.

It seems to be a tour starting in Osaka, and the bus arrived in Kyoto 20 minutes late, which delayed the start. However, the stays at the subsequent sightseeing spots were just the right length, allowing me to show my friend the things I wanted them to see. I was really satisfied to show them Fushimi Inari and Kinkaku-ji, which I really wanted them to see. The lunch with hot pot was delicious too!

At the end in Nara, we were told that we might not have time to see the Great Buddha at Todai-ji because we were running late, and I was disappointed. However, the guide quickly took all the participants to the front of Todai-ji, so we were able to see the Great Buddha safely.

Thank you very much. If you want to take your time to look around, you might feel a bit rushed, but I think it's a good tour for those who want to cover the main sightseeing spots in a short amount of time.

大阪スタートのツアーのようで、京都には20分遅れでバスが来たので、スタートが遅れましたが、その後の観光地でもちょうどいい長さの滞在で、友人に見せたかったものを見せることができました。伏見稲荷と金閣寺は、本当に見せたかったので大満足でした。お昼の鍋も美味しかったです♪
そして最後の奈良では時間が押して東大寺の大仏を見る時間がないかもと言われたのですが、がっかりしていたら、ガイドさんが、東大寺の前まで参加者全員を連れて早歩きで連れていってくださったので、無事大仏さんも見れました。
ありがとうございました。
ゆっくり見たいなら少し時間が足りないと感じるかもしれませんが、メインの観光地を短い時間で抑えたい方には良いツアーだと思います。

The train trip was really romantic with some imagination. It passed through various gorges ,bridges and rivers in a small scale open red train roared with non stop wow and laughter. The river boat trip was another realm , you got so excited all along down the rapid that you heard the tour guides shouting in Japanese that imprinted in your mind some daily words. The boatmen
were magnificent and friendly.

I was worried because I unknowingly signed up for a tour aimed at Chinese people, but the tour guide spoke Japanese fluently, so there were no issues at all. Thank you for the enjoyable trip to Kumamoto!

中国人対象ツアーに知らずに申し込んで心配でしたが添乗員の方もしっかり日本語を話せ全く問題ありませんでした。楽しい熊本の旅、ありがとうございました‼️

Train was cool, was nice to let someone else handle the details for the day. River was gorgeous, wear Sun protective clothing and you are sitting on a wooden bench with no back for 2 hours. And finishing with the bamboo Lane (not really a forest) and shops were great. Highly recommend.

The meeting place (somewhere in the building?) was hard to find. If it was this confusing, I would have liked to see a staff member arrive at least 30 minutes before the meeting time to help organize things. In fact, other tour staff members were already there.

The tour guide seemed to be Chinese and wasn't very proficient in languages other than Chinese. The English was also hard to understand (my daughter-in-law speaks English). What I found most disappointing was the lack of knowledge about Japan and the Japanese language. I participated with my daughter-in-law, who only speaks English and is from Canada, while I am a Japanese person who is okay with English.

The most unpleasant part was that the guide couldn't pronounce difficult words like Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji. They also couldn't explain Irohazaka (not understanding the meaning of "Iroha"). It was unfortunate that lunch was a vegetarian meal, but there was no explanation, so some participants were confused about whether there was meat in the meal (they didn't know what yuba was).

It's such a good tour, but as a Japanese person, I felt disappointed.

集合場所（ビルのどこか？）がわかりにくかった。
これだけわかりにくいのなら、少なくとも集合時間の30分前には係の人がきて整理してもらいたかった。実際にほかのツアーの係の人は、来ていました

ツアーの添乗員が中国人（？）らしい方で、中国語以外が上手でない。英語もわかりにくかった（義娘は英語）
一番だめだと思ったのが、日本や日本語の知識がない。
私はカナダから来た英語のみの義娘と参加した、英語は大丈夫な日本人です

最も不愉快だったのは、華厳の滝や中禅寺湖など難しい単語が発音できないこと。いろは坂の説明ができないこと（イロハの意味がわかっていない）
気の毒だったのは昼食が精進料理だったのですが、全く説明がなかったため、この食事の中に肉があるのかどうかわからず食べれず（ユバがなんだかわからないですよ）困っていた参加者がいました

せっかくこのような良いツアーなのに、日本人として残念でした

On a Friday morning just before the rainy season, with low water levels, I participated in this activity. It was relaxing, with occasional swift currents. The sky was blue, and I could feel the wind. I saw herons, ducks, turtles, and soft-shelled turtles, making it a pleasant experience. The boatmen worked hard, rowing with great effort, and they were also good at storytelling. When the water level is low, moving stones from the riverbed is part of their job.

They also let us experience rowing from the bow, which was very enjoyable. This traditional activity, which has been continued for over 400 years, is a part of the culture. I felt that it is something one should experience while living in Japan.

水量の少ない、梅雨直前の平日金曜日の朝、参加。ゆったりと、そしてたまに急な流れのところあり、空は青く、風が感じられ、サギ、鴨、亀、スッポンなど見られ、気持ちの良いアクティビティでした。船頭さんは３人ですごく頑張って漕いでくれて、お話も上手、水かさが少ないと川底の石をどかすことも仕事の内だとか。
舳先で漕ぐ体験もさせてくれてとても楽しかったです。400年も前から続く伝統のアクティビティは文化です。日本に住み、経験しておくべき、と思いました

As mentioned in the reviews, it was a tour mainly focused on Chinese participants, but we signed up with three Japanese people. It was a satisfying tour to Yufuin and Beppu at this price.

Even though it's a city, the bus passes through refreshing greenery.

With the guide's instructions, we were able to enjoy the scenery by turning right and left.

It was truly a delightful moment.

I participated with my daughter and son-in-law who live in America. On the day of the tour, a guide explained various things in English and Chinese. (The explanations were only during the drive; at the sightseeing spots, we had complete freedom to explore.)

We had plenty of time at each sightseeing location, so we could enjoy the sights at a leisurely pace. We arrived a bit late at the last sightseeing spot, Nara, and almost missed the visiting hours for Todai-ji, but the guide kindly led us partway in the rain to ensure we wouldn't get lost, and we made it just in time. I truly appreciate the help. My daughter and son-in-law were also very happy.

アメリカに住む娘夫婦と参加。当日は、お一人のガイドさんが英語と中国語で色々と説明してくださいました。（説明は車中のみ、観光地は全て自由行動）
各観光地では充分時間があったので、ゆっくり観光することができました。
最後の観光地奈良に到着したのが少し遅くなり、東大寺への拝観時間ギリギリになってしまいましたが、ガイドさんが道に迷わないようにと雨の中途中まで連れて行ってくださり間に合いました。本当にお世話になりました。娘夫婦も大喜びでした。

We participated as a group of two Japanese people. Aside from us and one family from Europe, everyone else was from China. The tour guide was also from China, and at first, I was unsure about how it would go, but they provided guidance in Japanese and were very considerate, which was nice. It was a hot day, so it was a test of endurance.

当方、日本人二人組で参加。欧米人ひと家族と私たち以外は全て中国の方でした。添乗員さんも中国の方で、最初はどうしようかと思いましたが、日本語でも案内をしてもらえて、お気遣いもして頂いて良い方でした。暑い日だったので体力勝負の1日でした。

I give five stars to the driver and the guide, but none for the tour! Why???? There were 38 people, with only 3 Japanese. If this is a tour for foreigners, I would like it to be clearly stated in advance. If this kind of ratio happens by chance, I would like to be notified. I wanted to cancel. I will never apply again.

ドライバーさんとガイドさんにはホシ５つですが、ツアーには星なし！なぜ？？？？38人で日本人3人
外国の方のためのツアーなら事前に明記欲しい。たまたまこの様な割合になったら通知欲しいです。キャンセルしたかった。もう2度と申し込みません

I visited both Takayama and Shirakawa-go in about two hours. I thought that might be a bit short on time, but once I participated, I was satisfied with the delicious meals and sightseeing.

The observation deck in Shirakawa-go is especially recommended.

The guide was also a nice person, and I had a fun trip. I would like to participate again.

飛騨高山と白川郷をどちらも２時間くらいの時間でまわりました。
時間的に少ないかなと思っていましたが、実際参加してみると
おいしい食事と観光もできて満足できました。

特に白川郷の展望台はおすすめです。

ガイドのお姉さんもいい方で楽しい旅ができました。
また参加させていただきたいです。

During our trip to Kanazawa, my elderly mother expressed a desire to visit Shirakawa-go, so we researched online and decided to join this tour.

Since my mother has difficulty walking and can't walk for long, I was initially worried about whether she could participate in such a tour. However, I inquired when making the reservation to see if accommodations could be made.

The response was very polite, explaining in detail that there are wheelchairs available on-site, they would provide a route that allows for breaks, and they would change the lunch seating from tatami to chairs. They also reassured me that they would address any other concerns as much as possible, which eased my worries.

During the tour, not only did the tour guide share enjoyable stories on the bus, but I was also impressed by the thoughtful considerations once we arrived at the location.

While being attentive to others, they also checked in with us individually. When there were many people waiting for the shuttle bus to the observation deck, they ran ahead to line up for us. It may be due to the personality of the tour guide, but this level of service on a free tour was a first for me. I am truly grateful.

Thanks to this experience, my mother had a wonderful time and we created great memories.

By the way, most of the participants were from abroad! It was quite a unique experience to have people from seven different countries gathered on the bus (laughs).

金沢旅行の折、高齢の母が白川郷に行ってみたいとの事で、ネットで調べこちらに参加しました。

母は足が悪く長くは歩けないので、そもそもこの様なツアーに参加出来るのかも不安でしたが、申し込みの時に配慮していただけるか問い合わせをしてみました。

返信はとても丁寧で、現地では車椅子もある事、休みながら回れるルートを教えてくださる事、昼食では畳から椅子席に変更してくださる事、など詳細に説明があり、その他心配事がありましたら可能な限り対応いたします、と心強い言葉も添えてありました。心配事が減って安心出来ました。

ツアーでは、バスの中での添乗員さんの楽しいお話もさることながら、現地についてからの細かいご配慮に頭が下がりました。

他の方々にも気を配られながら、こちらにも個別であれこれとお声がけ、お世話いただきました。展望台へのシャトルバス待ちの人数が多いと先に走って並んで下さったり、担当の添乗員さんのお人柄もあるのでしょうが、フリーツアーでここまでして貰えたのは初めてです。本当に感謝いたします。

おかげさまで母もとても楽しかったとご満悦で、良い思い出を作れました。

ちなみに、参加されていた方々の殆どが外国からの方でした！バスの中に7カ国の人達が集まっている感じは、なかなか体験できませんね(笑)

I considered renting a car.
However, the rental car costs 6,000 yen.
Toll fees are 8,000 yen,
lunch costs 2,000 yen,
and gasoline is 4,000 yen.
So, it would be at least 9,000 yen more than this tour.
Moreover, since I wouldn't be driving, I could also enjoy "kappo sake" during lunch.
I was able to fully enjoy Takachiho.

I was the only Japanese person there. However, as long as you properly understand the meeting and departure times, there are no issues.
If you think of it as joining a tour abroad, it’s not a big deal.

Lunch was something authentic that you couldn't get for 2,000 yen.
It was probably much more expensive.

レンタカーで行ってみようか、とも考えました。
でも、レンタカー６０００円。
高速料金　８０００円
昼食代　２０００円
ガソリン代　４０００円
と最低でもこのツアーよりは９０００円オーバー。
しかも、自分で運転しないので、昼食に『カッポ酒』も
楽しめます。
初高千穂を十分楽しむことができました。

日本人は自分だけでした。が、集合時間、
出発時間をちゃんと把握すれば問題なし。
海外でツアーに入ったと思えばどうって
ことありません。

昼食は2000円では食べることができない
ような本格的なものでした。
たぶんもっと高額なのでしょう。

I had always wanted to visit Takachiho Gorge. I had heard that the tour was primarily in Chinese, so I made sure to confirm the meeting time and place, thinking I would manage on my own afterward, but the guide spoke Japanese very well, so there were no issues at all.

We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Takachiho. I think the lunch provided on the tour was fairly decent! During lunch, I was able to have a little conversation in English with a couple from Hong Kong who sat next to me.

It was a fun trip. Thank you very much!

ずっと行ってみたかった高千穂峡。中国語主体のツアーと聞いていたので、集合時間と場所だけしっかり確認してあとは自分で頑張ろうと思っていたのですがガイドさんが日本語がお上手で全く問題なかったです。
お天気にも恵まれ高千穂の美しい景色も堪能しました。
昼食もツアーの食事としてはまあまあなのでは？！と思います
昼食時お隣に座った香港からのご夫婦とは英語で少しお話出来たりもしました。

Good trip if no raining. But with rain it's not good. That's all. The recording should be synchronised. The descriptions in English should be more discriptive.

The mixed ride was as described, but there was absolutely no Japanese announcements on board; it was just endless Chinese jokes for the entire day. Even if I could manage 90% of that, if it’s going to be the routine, I wish they would just tell me that the entire schedule, local explanations, and announcements at the time of disbanding would be all in Chinese, so I wouldn't have boarded! I was also seated right in the middle of a Chinese family, with Chinese food passing in front of me, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

混乗は説明通りだが全く日本語の車内アナウンスはゼロひたすら1日中国語のジョークだけで90％はやり過ごせても、それがルーティンならぱタイムスケジュールから現地説明、解散時アナウンスまでallChineseと言ってくれれば乗らなかった！座席も中国人家族の真ん中に置かれ目の前を中国食が行き交いとてもイヤな気分だった。

Check-in took a little time, but after that, the bus ride was smooth, and we were able to go to Shirakawa-go. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I was able to unwind for the first time in a while, which was refreshing.

チェックインに少し時間がかかりましたが、その後はバスもスムーズで白川郷に行けました。ゆっくりとした時間が流れていて、久しぶりにのんびりすることができ、リフレッシュしました。

When I arrived at the meeting place for the tour with 16.7 people, there was a Japanese tour guide holding up a sign, but there were many Easy Go flags, and most of the people were Taiwanese or Chinese, so I didn't know who to ask. As time was running out, I asked a man, but he didn't know. Then a female tour guide next to him approached me, and she turned out to be the person in charge—she was Chinese. Most of the tour participants were also Chinese, with one Filipino and just the two of us, a Japanese couple. The explanation was mainly in Chinese, lasting about five minutes, while the Japanese explanation was only about one minute, which was a bit disappointing. There was a ropeway, but due to bad weather, we couldn't see anything at the top. However, I am grateful that we were able to see three hell hot springs instead.

16,7人のツアー集合場所に行くと日本人の添乗員だったら行き先を掲げてるのですがイージーゴーの旗がいくつもあり台湾人やら中国人の方ばかりで誰に聞いたらいいか❓時間がせまり思わず男の人に聞いたらわからずその隣に女の添乗員が話掛けてきてやっと担当の方でした～中国人の人でした。ツアーの参加者も中国人が多くフィリピン人が1人で我々夫婦日本人が2人でした説明も中国語が主に５分説明してたら日本語の説明は１分ぐらいでなんだかね～ただロープウェイがありましたが天気が悪いので上に行っても何も見えないという事で機転をきかして地獄温泉を３つ見れた事は、感謝してます

It was more fun than I expected. I think it would be better to extend the time for the fifth word a little more and shorten the time at Gotemba Outlet a bit. I'm glad the guide was a kind person.

During my trip to Kanazawa, I joined a tour with a friend who lives there. Since it would have been a big burden for my friend to drive, we opted for a bus tour. Thanks to that, we were able to relax and chat comfortably on the bus, and take naps when we got tired. The guide shared local information, recommended sightseeing spots, and souvenirs, allowing us to enjoy a picnic-like experience that we wouldn't have had with a rental car. We were blessed with good weather, and my friend was happy, making it a wonderful travel memory.

金沢旅行中に、金沢在住の友人と参加しました。友人が車を出して運転も、となると負担が大きいのでバスツアーを利用しましたが、おかげで車中では安心しておしゃべりしたり、疲れたら仮眠タイムにしたりとゆったり過ごすことができました。ガイドさんが地域の情報やおすすめの観光スポット、お土産などを教えてくださり、レンタカーにはない遠足気分も味わえました。天気にも恵まれ、友人にも喜んでもらえて最高の旅の思い出となりました。

We had an amazing time with Mina and Testu!! Ellos son muy simpáticos y punctuales. The van was very wheelchair accessible and all the places visit were accessible also! Gracias para las memorias buenas!! Matane!! :)

I participated in this tour recommended by a friend.
First of all, I was impressed that the seats on the bus were properly assigned.
The time management was just right, and the departure and arrival times were very accurate. The guide and the driver had a great atmosphere, and I highly recommend this experience in Takayama and Shirakawa-go.

Even after arriving at the meeting point for the tour I signed up for, there was no one with a tour flag, and when the meeting time came, ultimately no one showed up. The other people who had signed up for the same tour were also worried and troubled as time passed without anyone arriving. When I called, it went to voicemail and I couldn't get through, and even though I wanted a refund, I couldn't reach anyone despite trying multiple times. This was my first experience with such a company, and it completely disrupted my travel plans, leading to a very difficult situation.

当日ツアーに申し込んで待ち合わせの集合場所に着いても、ツアーの旗らしき方もいなく集合時間になっても結局誰も来なかったです。
同じツアーを申し込みしてた方たちも時間が過ぎても来なく不安になって困ってました。
電話をしても留守電になって繋がらないし、返金してもらいたくても電話も留守電だから何度かけてもだめでした。
こんな会社は初めてでせっかくの旅行も予定が狂って大変な思いになりました。

Shirakawa-go in the rain
On the bus ride there, the guide provided helpful advice, allowing us to explore Shirakawa-go efficiently.
Even before arriving at Shirakawa-go, we enjoyed hearing stories about the areas we passed through.
Both the guide and the driver were very pleasant.
There were many participants from Europe and America, and the explanations were given in Japanese and then in English, which was enjoyable as well.

The time allocation between Shirakawa-go and Takayama was also well managed.

It was a tour with many Chinese tourists, but I was glad to have a kind guide. I thought it would have been nice to have a bit more explanation for the Japanese participants. For example, it would be helpful if they could just hand out printed materials. However, I appreciated being taken to places that are far and inconvenient to reach.

中国の観光客の方々が多いツアーでしたが、親切なガイドさんで良かったです。もう少し日本人にも説明があってもいいかなと思いましたが。例えば印刷したものを配ってくれるだけでもあればいいかなと思います。でも遠くて不便なところに連れて行っていただけるのは助かりました。
