You can see it from the land, but going by boat to get close and experiencing the smells gave me a strange feeling as if I had entered another dimension. The captain brought us closer for a better view, and his stories were very interesting. It felt great to speed through the water and feel the wind, and I was captivated by the beautiful scenery when we returned to Minato Mirai. It's rare to see it from the sea, so I was truly impressed.

陸地でも見る事ができますが、こうしてそばまで船で行って見て、においも感じて、なんだか異次元の世界に入ったような不思議な感覚になりました。
船長さんが見やすいように寄せてくださるし、
お話もとっても面白かったです。
スピードと風をきって走るのも気持ち良いし、
最後にみなとみらいに戻ってきた時の、景色の綺麗さにもうっとり。
海から見る事は滅多にないので、感激しました。

I came from Nagasaki Prefecture and was supposed to meet my daughter, who lives in the city, but she didn't show up even before departure. Thanks to the captain's consideration, we were able to wait until the last minute and made it just in time! I truly appreciate it! Thanks to you, we enjoyed a night cruise together. The night view of the Keihin Industrial Zone and Minato Mirai seen from the sea reflected beautifully on the water.

長崎県から来たのですが、都内に住む娘と現地集合予定でしたが、娘が出発前になっても現れず。船長さんの計らいでギリギリ迄待ってもらってなんとかセーフ！

みなとみらいは水面に写り最高でした。

The departure at 7:00 PM was right at sunset. The sky, beautifully and mysteriously painted red by the setting sun, was stunning. After the sun went down, the industrial area in the darkness was enchanting, and I never expected the view from the sea to be so beautiful. The captain's stories were also interesting and enjoyable. I definitely recommend experiencing this.

19:00の出航時はちょうど夕暮れ時。
日が沈み夕焼けで赤く染まる空がとてもきれいで神秘的でした。
日が沈んだ後、暗闇の中での工場地帯は幻想的で海から見える景色がこんなに綺麗だとは思いませんでした。
船長さんのお話も興味深く楽しかったです。
是非体験してみてほしいです。

I participated in the first tour at 9:00 AM. The boat has a maximum capacity of 13 people, but there were only 10 of us when I joined. Before boarding, we sanitized our hands, and all participants, including the staff, wore masks. Since it was an outdoor tour, I felt no anxiety. I was first surprised by the fluent Japanese of the famous captain! The fun guiding (with puns) and the boat handling made it very enjoyable.

The "Blue Cave" was truly blue, which lifted my spirits—absolutely the best! There were many other highlights besides the Blue Cave, and I really think you should join the tour to experience them. Since all the participants gathered early when I joined, we set sail 15 minutes before the scheduled time, and the tour ended around 10:20, so I had a very satisfying experience with a great value of 1.5 hours.

If I come to Otaru again, I will definitely book with Kanehide Marine next time.

朝1番の9:00〜のツアーに参加しました。ボート最大乗船可能人数13名の所、私が参加した時は10名でした。乗船前に手の消毒、スタッフを始め参加者全員マスク着用し屋外ツアーと言う事もあり、不安は感じなかったです。名物船長の流暢な日本語にまずビックリ!そして楽しいガイド(ダジャレ)とボートの操縦に、やみつきになりそうでした^_^
『青の洞窟』は本当に海が青くて気分が上がり↑最高！でした。青の洞窟以外の見所も沢山あり、是非それはツアーに参加して体験して欲しいと思います。私が参加した時の参加者の集合が皆さん早かったので、9:00〜の所15分前に出航してくれて、終わり時間は10:20位だったので1.5Hのお得感満載のツアーを体験できて大満足でした。
また、小樽に来る事があったら是非次もカネヒデマリンで予約します。

良い年下大人が工場夜景にはしゃいでました。それだけ非日常的で綺麗なのかと思います。船長さんのお話、楽しいですよ。

The person who piloted the boat was very entertaining, and I was drawn into the conversation! They frequently checked if anyone was feeling cold or unwell, and they provided cushions for small children to raise their height. I appreciated their thoughtfulness, especially when they helped us move to the deck in a way that made it easier to walk.

There were many breathtaking views of the sea and rocks, and I particularly enjoyed the cave area where we could take our time exploring. The photos were beautiful, but the emotional impact of seeing it in person was incredible.

The person I went with said that even those who are not fond of attractions would get used to this boat! At first, they were gripping the handrails tightly, but by the end, they were comfortable enough to hold on with just one hand!

Sitting on the deck is fun, but standing gives you an interesting feeling as if you are piloting the boat. The wind hits directly, so it might get cold after a long time, but I enjoyed it in short sleeves.

For those who get motion sickness, it's easier to feel queasy when the speed is slow (almost stopped) while looking at the scenery, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication.

操縦してくれた方がとても面白くて、話に引き込まれました！寒くないか、体調悪くなった人がいないかを度々聞いてくれて、小さい子には高さを上げるためにクッションを用意してくれたり、デッキに座ろうと移動するときには歩きやすいように操縦してくれたりと気遣いが嬉しかったです。
海や岩など絶景がたくさんあり、洞窟エリアはとくにじっくり見ることができて楽しかったです。写真でも綺麗でしたが、やっぱり実際に見た時の感動はすごかったです。
一緒に行った人は、アトラクションが苦手な人でもこの船なら慣れる！と言っていて、最初がっちり掴んでいた手すりを最後には片手でもいけるくらいには慣れてました！
デッキの方に座るのも楽しいですが、立つと操縦してるかのような面白さがあります。風が直で当たるので長い時間は寒くなりそうですが、半袖で楽しめました。
乗り物酔いする人は、景色を見るときにスピードがゆっくり（ほぼ止まっている）ようなときに酔いやすいので、酔い止めおすすめです。

I could feel the effort to entertain us. We enjoyed ourselves without any worries in a private setting. Although the weather wasn't great with some light rain, the color of the sea inside the cave was beautiful. Thank you, captain.

The captain was very friendly and it was an amazing experience! He was also very good at Japanese, and he made us laugh a lot! He shared many stories about Otaru's history and geography, the history of fishermen, and the rocks and terrain, which was very educational. This was my first trip to Hokkaido, but if I travel to Hokkaido again, I would love to ask this captain for another cruise! Thank you for the wonderful time! ♡♡

船長さんがとても気さくな方で最高に楽しかったです！
日本語もとてもお上手で、たくさん笑わせて頂きました！
小樽の歴史や地理、漁師さんの歴史や岩や地形の話などたくさんお話して頂き、とても勉強にもなりました。
北海道旅行は初めてだったのですが、また再び北海道に旅行する事があれば、またこちらの船長さんにお願いしてクルーズしたいと思います！

It was a situation where the number of participants might not have been met, but when I emailed to say that I absolutely wanted to participate on this day, they decided to go ahead with the tour even with the low number of participants! I was so moved!
I love futuristic landscapes like those in the movie "Blade Runner," so every view was wonderful.
In the inorganic atmosphere without humans, the factory and machines moving steadily felt almost alive, and it warmed my heart. I heard that it operates mostly unmanned.
The captain chooses the best spots to stop, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. Looking up from so close was incredibly cool.
It's safe, but the boat ride is quite wild, so be careful not to lose your hat. When I got off, my hair was a mess (laughs).

催行人数に満たないかもしれない状況でしたが、絶対に見たいのにこの日しか参加できない旨をメールしたところ、人数に足りない段階で催行を決めてくださいました！　感激です！
映画『ブレードランナー』のような近未来的な景色が大好きなので、すべての景色がステキでした。
人間のいない無機的な雰囲気のなか、坦々と動き続けている工場、機械たちが生き物みたいで、胸が熱くなりました。ほとんど無人で操業しているそうです。
船長さんが、最高のスポットを選んでで止めてくれるので、じっくり楽しめました。すぐ近くから見上げると、ものすごくカッコいいです。
安全ですが、かなりワイルドな舟行きなので、帽子など飛ばないよう注意です。降りたときは、髪が爆発してました（笑）

The night view cruise I was looking forward to exceeded my expectations. The captain's guidance was enjoyable. The atmosphere with the other participants was also pleasant.

I always saw the factory scenery from the highway, but this time I got to see it from the sea, and it was such a wonderful and otherworldly experience! The powerful flames and the fantastical lighting… when viewed through the camera, it had a different charm than what I saw with my own eyes, which was great too.

What surprised me was the lack of railings on the boat. The sides of the vessel were particularly narrow and without railings, so if you're not careful, there's the thrill of potentially falling into the night sea… and then you might just take off running wildly!

It was scary, but in today's tourism world where danger and safety are constantly emphasized, it felt truly wild and enjoyable.

As advice for those going, it can be surprisingly cold, so make sure to wear a jacket before putting on the life jacket! I would love to come back on a weekday when the factory is operational! Thank you, Captain Nagai and the staff, for the fun guidance and driving!

いつも高速道路から見ていた工場の景色ですが、この度は海から拝見させてもらい、すごく異空間で素敵でした！！
迫力の炎や幻想的なライトアップ…、カメラを通すとまた肉眼とは違った良さがあり、そこも良かったです。
想定外なのは、船の柵の無さです。船体のサイドは特に足場が狭く柵もないので、うっかりしたら、夜の海に落ちるスリル…。しかもそのまま走り出しワイルド走行！！！！
こわかったけど、危険危険と安全ばかり謳われる昨今の観光としては本当にワイルドで良かったなぁ〜と。
行く方々へアドバイスとしては意外と寒くて身体が冷えるので、上着を先に着てから救命胴衣を付けて！でしょうか。
また次は工場が動いてる平日に来たいです！

I used the factory night view cruise for the first time this time.

First, after a polite explanation from the staff, the captain of the cruise was friendly, and it was the best to enjoy a fun 90-minute cruise while seeing and taking pictures of the extraordinary expressions of the factory night view.

There were many photo spots near the Asuka II and other areas visible from the Osanbashi Pier, and the waiting time didn't feel long at all.

始めに、係の方の丁寧な説明のあとクルーズの船長さんも
気さくな方で、９０分楽しいクルーズと工場夜景の非日常の様な
表情を見たり撮ったりできてサイコーでした

みなとみらいの夕暮れや夜景と大さん橋から見える
アスカ２など船上付近にもたくさんのフォトスポットもあり
待ち時間にも長くは感じませんでした

I was worried about the light rain all morning, but it stopped just before our 11 o'clock departure, and the sun even peeked out occasionally.

According to the boatman, when the weather is too clear, the reflection can make it hard to see, so having some clouds like today makes for a better view.

The coastline of Otaru was more varied than I expected, with rolling hills, cliffs, and even small waterfalls. We were able to enter the Blue Cave and see the beautiful turquoise blue waters. The boatman had been in Japan for over 20 years, and he was quite entertaining to talk to.

午前中ずっと小雨で心配していましたが、私達の乗る１１時ちょっと前に止み、時々太陽も顔を出すぐらいとなりました。
船頭さんの話では、晴天すぎると反射して見えないこともあるので、今日ぐらいに雲がある方がきれいに見えるとのことでした。

思った以上に小樽の海岸線は、起伏に富んだ山や崖があり、小さな滝もありました。
青の洞窟の中にも入れ、きれいなターコイズブルーを見ることができました。
船頭さんは、日本に来て20年以上になる方でしたが、話も面白かったです。

I previously enjoyed the duck amphibious vehicle in Hawaii. I think it's different from Tokyo, but the scenery didn't change much, so I thought, "Is this it?" It might be good for first-timers. The guide was very good at explaining and their dedication was evident.

ハワイでのダック水陸両用車を以前楽しかったので利用しました。
ハワイと東京の違いと思いますが、風景が代り映えしなかったので
こんなものかな？と思いました。
きっと初めての人にはいいかもしれません。
ガイドの方説明が上手で一生懸命さが伝わりました。

Since we chose to depart at dusk, the lights of the factories and bridges became more and more prominent, making the Yokohama Port area very beautiful. It was a valuable experience to see the flames of the flare stack roaring, hear the sound of the gas being released, and observe the intricate pipes up close. The captain's stories were also interesting, and the hour and a half flew by. I would like to participate again at a different time.

夕暮れに出発する時間を選んだので、どんどん灯りが際立っていく工場や橋て、横浜港一帯がとても綺麗でした。また、フレアスタックの炎がごうごうと燃える様や、噴出しているガスの音、入り組んだパイプたちが間近に見れて貴重な体験ですした。船長さんのお話も面白く、あっという間の1時間半でした。また違う時期に参加してみたいです。

I applied because I wanted to uplift the spirits of the children who had to graduate without being able to go on field trips, school trips, or outings with friends due to COVID-19.

The experience of going from the bus to the sea was very enjoyable, and the views from the sea and the explanations of various buildings were fascinating. The children also had a great time, and I'm glad we participated.

The storytelling was also very enjoyable and went by in no time. I definitely want to participate in a different course next time! Thank you very much.

コロナで移動教室や修学旅行、学校行事も友だちと出かけるのも、出来ないまま卒業になってしまった子どもたちの気持ちを盛り上げたいな、と申し込みました。
バスから海へ、という体験がとても楽しく、海からの景色や様々な建物の説明も興味深かったです。子どもたちも楽しんでいて、参加して良かったです。
語りもとっても楽しくて、あっという間でした。
今度はまた違うコースもぜひ参加したいなと思います！

Although it was drizzling and I felt a bit anxious, the captain's fun and informative stories really refreshed me with exclamations of "Wow!" and "Haha!" I was particularly moved by the captain's connection to the blue light... How wonderful it was. There were so many things to see, like the sound of flames, the smell of iron, numerous export vehicles, and the state of LNG and oil storage. My daughter had just learned about the Keihin Industrial Zone, so I think it was great for her to experience it firsthand.

小雨が降る中やや不安でしたが、船長さんの楽しいそしてためになるお話で、へぇ〜！あはは！ととてもリフレッシュ出来ました。そして船長さんとブルーライトの関係にはぐっときました…
何て素敵なんでしょう。炎の音、鉄の匂い、沢山の輸出車、LNGや石油備蓄の様子など見る所も盛り沢山でした。娘はちょうど京浜工業地帯のことを習った所でしたので、体験できて良かったと思います。

The hotel we stayed at was Naha West Inn, so it was convenient to reach the point in about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The price was also reasonable, and the timing was just right. I tend to get motion sickness, so I took some medicine before going. I didn't experience any seasickness.

Once we reached the boat, everyone spent their time as they liked, but we were at the front. The boat moved quickly, splashing water, and the kids were thrilled. The visibility was level 2, but it was clearer than I expected. I wonder if they were throwing bait to attract the fish? There were lots of fish swarming around the bait.

宿泊ホテルが那覇ウエストインだったのでホテルからまっすぐ徒歩5分ほどで着き便利でした。
お値段も安かったし、時間もほどよかったです。
私は乗り物酔いが重度な方なので酔い止めを飲んで行きました。
船酔いは無かったです。
ポイントに着くまでは船の上でおのおの好きに過ごすのですが、私たちは先頭に立ってました。スピード早く船が進み、水しぶきがかかり、子供が大喜びしていました。
透明度はレベル２でしたが思ってたより見えました。
餌をまいて魚を呼び寄せてるのでしょうか？餌にむらがる魚がいっぱい見えました。

The drift ice and Abashiri Prison were impressive. The view from the Drift Ice Museum was also nice. However, the lunch portion was small. You can choose between a seafood bowl or a hokke set meal, but I chose the seafood bowl, which came with just the bowl, pickles, and miso soup. We were taken to the second floor of the dining area, and after the food was served, that was it. The staff did not come up to the second floor, and there was no warm tea after the meal, nor any way to call the staff. The rice portion was large, but the seafood was minimal. If lunch is simple, the satisfaction level might be low.

We disbanded at Abashiri Station at 16:00, but I immediately went into a hamburger restaurant nearby and had a salad buffet and a hamburger. It might be good for older people, but others might have felt hungry.

流氷と網走監獄は見ごたえがありました。流氷館からの展望景色も良かったです。ただお昼ごはんが少ない。。海鮮丼かホッケ定食が選べますが、海鮮丼を選んで、提供は丼とおしんこと味噌汁。食事どころの2階に通され、料理が出てきてそれっきり。店員さんは2階には上がってこず、食後に温かいお茶もなく、店員さんを呼ぶ手段もなく、、ご飯の量は多かったけど、海鮮の量が少なく。。お昼ご飯が質素だと満足度は低いかも。。

網走駅で16:00解散でしたが、駅近くにあるハンバーグレストランにすぐに入り、サラダビュッフェとハンバーグを食べました。年配の方は良いかもですが、それ以外の方はひもじかったのではないでしょうか。

I took the train from Kitahama Station, and I thought it was short. Abashiri Prison and lunch were also great! It was nice that Notoro Cape was sunny.

I couldn't see the drift ice.
Lunch was disappointing. Previously, there was a large souvenir facility that served salmon chan-chan-yaki.

流氷が見れなかった。
昼飯がしょぼかった。以前は、大きな土産物施設でシャケのちゃんちゃん焼きだった。

The weather forecast for the day showed a southwest wind. My worries were confirmed! Still, once we headed out to sea, we were able to see everything clearly. Thank you so much, it was really great!

当日の天気予報を見たら南西の風になっていました。私の不安が的中！それでも沖に出ると、まとまって見ることが出来ました。本当にありがとう良かったです

I felt that the world around me was small.
The Keihin Industrial Zone at night operates 24 hours and is connected to the world.
The captain's explanations were easy to understand, and it was an enjoyable cruise.
If I have the chance, I would like to board this ship again.

自分のいる世界を小さく感じました。
夜の京浜工業地帯は24時間稼働して世界とつながっていました。
船長さんの説明も解り易いし、楽しいクルーズでした。
機会があればまた、この船に乗船したいと思っています。

We were blessed with clear weather, and we could see Mount Fuji. The captain was entertaining and kept us amused throughout the trip. Normally, I just glance at it from the road, but I was able to enjoy a different experience this time. It was cold outside the boat, but I appreciated that they lent us blankets. The inside of the boat was warm. The time flew by. I would love to participate again.

晴天に恵まれ、富士山まで見えました。船長さんが面白くて、終始楽しませてもらえました。
普段は何気なく道路から眺めてましたが、また違ったひとときを堪能できました。
船外は寒かったけど、ブランケットを貸して貰えたのが良かったです。
船内は暖かかったです。
あっという間の時間でした。

The weather was bad, and I couldn't see the sunset; I just got on the boat. It was cold, so I stayed inside the cabin. It was disappointing.

天候もわるく、サンセットみれず、船に乗ってきただけでした。寒くて船室内に入っていました。残念でした。

I participated on December 25th for Christmas! While waiting at the meeting point, the captain appeared dressed as Santa ❤ He carried a bag of presents and gave each of us a treat. During the cruise, he entertained everyone with fun stories. Additionally, he let the children sit in the driver's seat before we got off, which made them very happy and provided a great experience.

It was an amazing experience that I can't usually have. The scenery was, of course, beautiful, and the knowledge about the boat and the captain's humor were all top-notch. I definitely want to experience it again.

普段味わえない体験をさせていただき最高でした。景色はもちろん、船に関しての知識、船長さんの面白さが全て最高でした。また是非体験したいです。
