Since it was my second time in Shirakawa-go, I felt like I was reconfirming it as a tourist spot, but Gokayama was quiet and still had some snow, allowing me to enjoy a more enriching experience.

白川郷は2回目だったので、観光地として再確認した感でしたが五箇山は静かで雪も残っていましたのでより味わい深い時間を過ごせました。

It was during a time when heavy snow was falling, so I was worried about going by my car and decided to join a tour. Most of the participants were from overseas.

The guide provided information in both Japanese and English, which helped us understand the key points to see and the best photo spots, allowing us to tour efficiently. The bus stop for Shirakawa-go at the station had a long line, so it was great to have made a reservation in advance and be able to board right away. The tour that allowed us to visit two locations was excellent. Additionally, since we stayed on the same bus, we could leave our luggage on the bus and enjoy sightseeing without being weighed down, which I thought was another advantage of the tour.

I had always wanted to see Shirakawa-go in the snow at least once in my life, and I was very satisfied.

大雪が降った時期だったので、マイカーで行くのが心配でツアーに参加しました。
参加者は海外の方がほとんどでした。

ガイドさんは日本語と英語、両方で案内してくださり、見るべきポイントや写真スポットなどが分かり効率的に周ることができました。
駅の白川郷行きのバス停は長く列ができていたので、事前に予約してすぐに乗れ、二箇所まわれるツアーは良かったです。
また、同じバスに乗り続けるのでバスに荷物を置いて身軽に観光できるのもツアーのメリットだと思いました。

人生一度は雪の中の白川郷を見てみたかったので、大満足でした。

The reservation made the day before was fine. Shirakawa-go and Ainokura had different atmospheres, which was nice. The guide explained the highlights, so we were able to tour efficiently. I think the time from 8:30 to 15:50 was just right.

Shirakawa-go, where snow still remains, had beautiful scenery. The guide was fluent in English and impressive. Since all the restaurants were crowded, I think a meal plan is reassuring. I am very satisfied.

I participated in a day trip tour from Nagoya for the first time, and I really enjoyed it as we efficiently visited the somewhat difficult-to-reach places of Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go. The tour was aimed at inbound travelers, and there were many foreign participants, but the guide explained everything in Japanese, English, and Chinese, which was great. The driver also efficiently handled the long-distance driving, and despite some traffic, we arrived at Nagoya Station earlier than expected, allowing us to comfortably catch the Shinkansen to Tokyo. Thank you very much. I look forward to participating in other tours as well.

今回初めて名古屋からの日帰りツアーに参加しましたが、飛騨高山と白川郷と行きづらい場所を効率よく回ってくれてとても楽しめました。ツアーはインバウンド向けで外国の方が多かったのですが、ガイドさんが、日本語、英語、中国語とそれぞれの言葉で説明してくれたので良かったです。ドライバーさんも長距離を効率よく運転していただき渋滞があったにもかかわらず時間よりも早く名古屋駅に到着することができたのでお陰様で東京までの新幹線にも余裕で間に合いました。ありがとうございました。また、他のツアーにも参加させていただきたく思います。

We had a perfectly timed free time of two hours in Takayama and two hours in Shirakawa-go. Most of the participants were from abroad, especially of Chinese descent. The guide provided a brief introduction on the bus, but was kind, and considering the price, the content was quite satisfactory.

高山で２時間、白川郷で２時間とちょうど良い長さの自由時間でした。大半が外国からの方（特に中華系）でした。ガイドはバスの車内での簡単なものではありましたが親切で、値段を考えれば十分に満足できる内容でした。

It was a comfortable Shirakawa-go tour. They also prepared lunch for us, allowing me to enjoy my own time. I was very satisfied with the one-person day tour. It was a memorable experience.

I wanted to see the view from the observation deck, so I finally joined this tour in my third year. Since it was snowing, I couldn't take great photos with my phone, but the scenery I saw with my own eyes was enchanting and beautiful. I'm really glad I was able to make a reservation since the event only takes place four days a year. Although the night viewing is completely reservation-based, it felt like there were quite a few buses and people entering Shirakawa-go. Since we arrived in the evening, some shops might be sold out or closed. If you plan to eat something on-site, please be careful.

せっかくなら展望台からも見たいと思い、3年目にやっとこちらのツアーに参加することができました。
雪が降っていたこともあり私の携帯ではあまり上手く写真には収められませんでしたが、裸眼で見る景色は幻想的で美しかったです。
開催日が年に4日しかないこともあり、予約が取れて本当に嬉しかったです。
夜間は完全予約制とはいえ、それなりのバスと人数が白川郷に入っている印象でした。
到着は夕方になるので、お店によっては売り切れや入れないこともあります。現地で何か召し上がる予定でいらっしゃる方はお気をつけください。

Recently, it was rare to have snow, and I was able to see the snowy scenery of Shirakawa-go. Since I had plenty of time, I was able to fully enjoy the highlights. The lunch was delicious, and Gokayama was also great.

What made this bus tour so good was definitely thanks to the tour guide.

Thanks to their precise recommendations and efficient advice on how to get around, I was able to manage my time well and enjoy all the sightseeing without missing anything. The explanations on the bus, which included some English, were witty and everyone was able to listen to them with enjoyment.

I would definitely like to request this again on my next opportunity. Thank you very much.

最近では珍しく雪が降って、雪景色の白川郷を見る事が出来ました。
時間もゆとりがあったので、見どころを満喫できました。
昼食も美味しく、五箇山も良かったです。

今回のバスツアーが良かったのは、なんと言っても添乗員さんのおかげです。

おすすめポイントや効率よくまわるアドバイスが的確だったおかげで、うまく時間配分も出来て漏れなく観光出来ました。
英語を交えたバス内の説明もウィットにとんでいて、全員楽しく話を聞けました。

The male tour guide's explanations were thorough and enjoyable, and his advice on souvenirs was spot on, making the experience very enjoyable! We visited two places, and returning to Kanazawa was quick, giving us extra time, which was also very nice.

男性の添乗員さんの説明が丁寧で楽しく、お土産などのアドバイスも的確で大変楽しめました！
2箇所も周り金沢に帰着も早く時間に余裕ができその点もとても良かったです。

It's a great deal to be able to visit both the old town of Takayama and Shirakawa-go in one day. Since I've been to Takayama several times, I treated myself to some luxurious Hida beef yakiniku for lunch. As expected, the Hida beef was delicious.

In Shirakawa-go, I visited the Wada House, which is a must-see. There is a shuttle bus to the observation deck, but it was crowded due to the holiday and there are limited buses, so I walked up. The steep slope was tough, but the breathtaking view at the top made it worth the climb (it takes about 5 to 10 minutes from the base).

I thoroughly enjoyed my day!

高山市の古い町並みと白川郷が1日で両方回れるのはお得。高山は何度も行っているのでお昼は少し贅沢に飛騨牛の焼肉を食べた。やっぱり飛騨牛はうまかった。
白川郷は、お決まりだが和田家見学した。展望台まではシャトルバスが出ているが休日のため混んでいるのと本数がすくないため、徒歩で登った。急坂でしんどいが上った後は絶景が広がるので登る価値あり。(ふもとからは5~10分程度)
十分に一日楽しめました。

As expected, there were mostly foreign visitors, and it was really crowded when we got there‼️ Since we had plenty of time to explore, we were able to take our time sightseeing, shopping, and dining. The Hida beef mixed bowl I had in Hida Takayama was incredibly delicious. The tour guide was also very polite and provided thorough explanations, which was great.

現地に行ってもすごい人でした‼️
散策時間がたっぷりあったのでゆっくりと見学、買い物、食事が出来ました。

I was able to explore to my heart's content. I think the volume of the tour was just right. The lunch was also delicious.

心ゆくまで散策できました。ツアーとしてのボリューム感は大変ちょうど良かったと思います。お昼ご飯もおいしかったです。

It was an alarm-level heavy snowfall for several consecutive days, but there was also a certain warmth to the dazzling snow. The scenery was truly wonderful. I was able to enjoy a delicious local lunch and was very satisfied. However, waiting for the bus to the observation deck took some time. There were many shops in Takayama, and I was able to enjoy myself without any prior research.

その景観はとても素晴らしかったです。
ご当地昼食も美味しく満足に頂けました。
あと、展望台へのバス待ちがロス時間でした。

I was taken to a place that is quite difficult to go to alone, and I had a valuable experience. However, the guide's rapid-fire talking was exhausting. There were many inbound foreign tourists on the tour, and the guide spoke a lot in English, but the pronunciation wasn't very clear, which was a bit concerning. Overall, the tour itself was good.

なかなか１人では行けない場所に連れて行ってもらい、貴重な体験が出来ました。
ただ、ガイドの人が弾丸トークで疲れました。ツアー客がインバウンドの外国人が多くて、英語でたくさん話していたのですが、発音がきれいでなくて、それも気になりました。
ツアー自体は良かったです。

On the second day of my first solo trip, I had reserved this bus, and the seats were fairly spacious and comfortable. The bus guide was cheerful and spoke clearly, which made the experience very pleasant. The driver also greeted us every time, which was really nice!

初めての一人旅で2日目にこのバスを予約していたのですが、席もある程度広く居心地がよかったです。バスガイドさんも明るくハキハキとお話される方でとても心地よかったです。運転手さんも毎回声をかけてくれてとても良かったです！

Comments from a foreign traveler on a solo trip.
This was my first time participating in a day tour within Japan.

Since most of the participants were foreigners, the guide provided clear explanations in both Japanese and English without any breaks, covering everything from highlights to food, as well as important notes. There were also some interesting stories sprinkled in, making the otherwise dull travel time enjoyable. Thank you very much.

The female driver was also extremely safe, which was a relief. Those prone to motion sickness will be just fine.

Winter is certainly beautiful, but I believe summer will be lovely as well. I hope to come back someday.

人生初めて日本国内で日帰りツアーに参加。

外国人は殆どのため、ガイドの方は休みなくずっと日本語と英語両方わかりやすく説明してくれました、見どころから食べものまで、注意事項などなど、ちょこちょこと面白い話も出てくる、つまらない移動時間は楽しく過ごしました、誠にありがとうございました。

女性の運転手さんも、超安全運転で助かります。車酔い人も全然ok。

冬はもちろん綺麗ですが、夏場もきっと綺麗だと思います。いつか、また来たいです。

At first, I was very anxious about not being able to participate in the tour due to an unexpected incident, but I headed to the departure location. When I consulted with the tour guide, they kindly listened to my concerns, and my child and I were able to participate comfortably. Thanks to that, we were able to see the winter scenery of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, which we had been looking forward to, and it turned out to be a wonderful trip. I was a bit worried about my first solo bus tour. When I arrived at the meeting place, there was already a line forming even though it was 10 minutes before the scheduled time, and the check-in had already started. The boarding position on the bus was determined by the order of check-in, so the seats were filling up quickly from the front. When I expressed my hope to sit as close to the front as possible and alone, they happily accommodated my request with a smile, which I felt was lucky!

Both Takayama and Shirakawa-go were crowded with tourists, and if you wanted to eat something delicious, you had to wait in line. As someone who is greedy about wanting to see and eat as much as possible, I didn't have enough time to fully satisfy my desires, but I still enjoyed my first visit to Takayama and Shirakawa-go quite a bit. 初めての一人バスツアーで少し心配もありました。
集合場所に行くと、10分前にもかかわらずすでに列ができていて、受付が始まっていました。受付順にバスを乗る位置が決まっていくので、どんどん前から埋まっていきました。なるべく前で、一人が良いと希望を伝えると、笑顔でリクエストに応じてもらえて、ラッキーでした！
高山も白川郷も観光客が多く、美味しいものを食べようとすると並ばないといけないので、見たい、食べたいの欲張りな私には時間が足りず、満足まではいかないものの、初めての高山・白川郷に十分楽しめました。

The participants were 90% foreigners and 10% Japanese. The tour guide was fluent in both English and Japanese and provided a thorough explanation. In Shirakawa-go, not much snow removal is done for tourists, and the sidewalks are covered in snow. The paths to the Deai Bridge and the observation deck had some icy spots, and I saw many people falling. Non-slip footwear is essential. It was a very good tour that was efficient in terms of time and reasonably priced.

参加者は、9割外国人、1割日本人でした。添乗員さんは、英語日本語堪能で、丁寧に案内してくださいました。白川郷では、観光客の為の除雪はあまりされていなく、歩道には雪が積もっています。出会い橋、展望台に行く道は凍っている箇所もあり、転んでいる人をたくさん見ました。滑り止めは必須です。時間効率よく回れ、リーズナブルでとても良いツアーでした。

The tour guide was very good at talking and made the travel time enjoyable by sharing interesting sights. Thanks to their recommendations, I was able to enjoy visiting both Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, and I was very satisfied.

The bus was clean, had WiFi, and was comfortable. They provided a bag for trash collection. There was also a small refrigerator on the bus where they offered to keep items purchased as souvenirs.

This was my first time using this site, and I'm glad I chose it.

This was my second time experiencing the light-up event, but last year I couldn't book the tour with the observation deck from Takayama, so I had to give up. This time, I was able to make a reservation from Kanazawa, and I was thrilled.

As the sun set, the snow-covered gassho-zukuri village was enveloped in warm lights, creating a beautiful scene. When I climbed up to the observation deck, I was greeted with an even more stunning and fantastical view below...

ライトアップは二度目でしたが、昨年は高山発の展望台付きツアーが取れず、断念。今回は金沢発で予約でき、感激でした。

The weather was nice on the day of the visit, and I was able to enjoy the winter scenery of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. The guide provided detailed explanations, and the bus during the trip had Wi-Fi, making it comfortable.

Since they only light it up four times a year, I thought it was a valuable opportunity and participated. The view was wonderful, the food was good, and the timing was well managed, so I was able to enjoy it thoroughly.

I couldn't get a tour with a viewpoint for the night illumination of Shirakawa-go, so I only have photos from below, but it looked beautiful like a scene from a foreign fairy tale. It was great to see it from the viewpoint during the day. The cold wasn't too severe, and I warmed up during dinner along the way. The guide was also very kind and provided excellent guidance.

白川郷の夜のライトアップの展望台付きツアーはとれなくて、下からの写真のみですが外国の昔話の風景みたいで綺麗でした。日中は展望台から見れて良かったです。寒さもひどくなく、途中の夕食で温まりました。ガイドさんもとても親切で、良く案内してくれました。

Unexpectedly, Gokayama was wonderful. I had visited Shirakawa-go several times in the summer, and thanks to the guide's thorough explanations (about souvenirs and attractions), I was able to enjoy it thoroughly. While Shirakawa-go had a completely touristy atmosphere, Gokayama was truly quiet. There are fewer attractions, but the road to the snowy observation deck winds through the terraced rice fields, making it fun to play with my middle school son, creating great memories. Although there are few residents, it seemed to be well-managed and maintained. The calm Japanese and English simultaneous guidance from the male guide was excellent and also helped me with my English studies.

思いがけず五箇山がよかったです。
白川郷は夏に何度か訪れていたのと、ガイドさんのご丁寧な説明（お土産や見どころなど）のおかげでしっかり楽しめました。
白川郷が完全に観光地ムードだったのに対し、五箇山は本当に静か。見どころは少ないですが、雪深い展望台への道は棚田の間を縫って上がる形で、中学生の息子と遊ぶのも楽しく、いい思い出になりました。住む人は少ないものの、しっかりと管理され維持されているようでした。
ガイドの男性の穏やかな日本語と英語の同時ガイドは素晴らしく、英語の勉強にもなりました。

We participated as a family! We arrived at the site in the evening, toured the Wada family house, and then went for a stroll. When the lights came on, the magical scenery had my elementary school son super excited! It started snowing partway through, but we warmed up in the hot springs at the end, making it an amazing experience. Thanks to the kind advice from the staff, we were able to explore efficiently.

家族で参加しました！夕方現地に着き和田家を見学してから散策。ライトアップが始まると幻想的な景色に小学生の息子も大興奮！途中から雪も降り始めましたが、最後に温泉で身体も温まり最高な体験でした。スタッフの方の親切なアドバイスもあり効率よく散策することができました。
