However, exploring on our own versus with someone knowledgeable about Shiretoko is definitely a different experience. Thanks to Ayano, who is calm, humorous, and knowledgeable, our walk was meaningful. I had some concerns about bears, so having someone with us was reassuring. I'm glad we asked for this. Thank you very much.

I stayed at a hotel close to the meeting point, but I was a little late due to traffic. However, the staff was very polite from the time I called. Although they were foreign, their Japanese was very polite, and the jokes on board were funny! It felt much better to ride outside while enjoying the breeze. The weather was nice, so I thought the reservation line must be very popular!

集合場所まで近いホテルに泊まったにも関わらず、道が混んでいたので少し遅刻しましたが、電話の時から丁寧な対応でした。
外人さんでしたが、日本語はとても丁寧で船内のジョークも面白かったです！
船内より外で風を浴びながら乗る方が気持ちよかったです。

I participated while a typhoon was approaching. A couple of days before, I called with some concerns, and they informed me that whether we could enter the Blue Cave would depend on the wave and wind conditions on the day itself, but if the Blue Cave was difficult to access, they would guide us to another safe location. This reassured me as we approached the day.

On the day itself, the Blue Cave was indeed closed, which was a bit disappointing, but it was short-lived as we were taken to a wonderful spot. Many people canceled due to fears of the typhoon, so there were fewer visitors, and the early morning plan at 9:30 also worked in our favor, allowing us to enjoy the clear waters thoroughly.

The guide was very kind and friendly, and he was also handsome! He was great at teaching, so my son, who is not very good at swimming, quickly got used to it and became engrossed in the experience. My son respected the guide throughout and seemed to look up to him.

I think it's a shame to cancel outright due to bad weather. I really hope everyone gets to experience snorkeling here at least once. The data from the GoPro footage was transferred to my smartphone for free right away, so it was fun to watch during our return trip.

2日ほど前に不安なり電話連絡すると、青の洞窟に入れるかは当日の波や風の状態で変わるので分からないけれど、青の洞窟が難しい場合は他の安全な場所にご案内しますと言われ、安心して当日を迎えることができました。
迎えた当日、やはり青の洞窟は閉鎖されており、少し残念に思ったのも束の間、素晴らしいスポットに連れて行ってもらうことができました。台風を恐れてキャンセルが多く発生し、人が少なかったことや、朝早い9:30のプランだったことも幸いだったようで、透明度が高い海で十分楽しむことができました。
お兄さんがとても優しく親切で、しかもイケメン！教え方も上手なので、泳ぎが不得意な息子もすぐに慣れて夢中になって楽しんでいました。息子は終始お兄さんをリスペクトし、憧れの存在になったようです。
天候不良でズバッとキャンセルはもったいないと思います。ぜひ一度、ここのシュノーケリングは体験してほしいと思います。
GoProで撮影してもらったデータは無料ですぐにスマホに移してもらえたので、帰りの移動中に見るのも楽しかったです。

We requested the Jomon Sugi course for just the two of us. Our guide was a veteran who provided very thorough explanations about the Yakusugi from start to finish. They also pointed out great spots for taking photos, managed the timing perfectly, and even treated us to warm miso soup for lunch, which was a delightful surprise. Due to the typhoon's impact, it was uncertain if we could complete the course, but their prior assistance was very kind! We are very grateful.

I enjoyed the little advice and discussions about wildlife during the car ride to the site from the meeting point. Once we arrived, we ventured into some thrilling spots that made me wonder, "Are we really going this way?" and I got to see many creatures that I normally wouldn't encounter. After passing through the jungle, we reached a nameless beach. It was cloudy, so we couldn't see the stars, but I think it would have been very mystical if it had been clear. I had an experience that I could never have on my own, and even without seeing the stars, it was a very fulfilling tour. Thank you!

現地に着いてからは、ここを進むの？というドキドキする場所を進み、普段見ることができないたくさんの生き物に会えました。

The guide was a really bright and pleasant person, which was great. I wasn't very good at swimming, but they helped me by holding onto a float. The Blue Cave was sunny, but it was dark inside and the surface of the water wasn't that blue. The underwater was blue. The distance from the office to the sea was quite steep and challenging. It became a fun memory.

I immediately made a reservation. There were five participants on the day of the tour, but we enjoyed a spacious and comfortable sightseeing experience on a large bus. I was worried because it was typhoon season, but the weather was good, and I was satisfied with the beautiful scenery of the Yanbaru region and the enjoyable trip. The hiking at Daichi Forest was easy to walk, making it accessible even for older individuals. I was very satisfied with this trip, as it allowed me to visit places that are not easily accessible on my own.

The day before, the tour was canceled due to high tide preventing entry into the cave, but I received a full refund for that day. Since I had come all the way to Miyako Island, I decided to try again today. The weather was nice, and it was fun to paddle through the sea while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Above all, exploring the mystical Pumpkin Cave became a wonderful memory.

I participated with a friend! The guide was very kind and shared various stories, allowing us to have an enjoyable 10 hours! Since it was 10 hours long, there were moments on the way back that felt a bit tiring, but it was such a great experience that it didn't really matter. I would love to visit again in 10 years when I'm feeling worn out by society and seek some healing.

My first time on Iriomote Island was a wonderful night tour! The guide, Hayata, had an astonishing amount of knowledge and didn't miss any small creatures while guiding us. We participated with two adults and three children. We wanted to try stand-up paddleboarding, but since we had three small children, we were recommended to go canoeing instead, which we did on short notice. As we paddled through the mangroves, we were deeply healed by the beautiful scenery and nature that we don't usually see. The guide was very kind to the children, had a wealth of knowledge, and we all had a fun and meaningful time together.

For lunch, we ate Yaeyama soba at Hirara Shoten, which the guide recommended. It had a rich flavor and was very delicious.

In the afternoon, we went snorkeling, and since we were the last group, there were only scattered seats left for us with the kids, which was a bit challenging. I would appreciate it if that could be improved. Due to the typhoon, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave, but we were taken to an alternative snorkeling spot where we were lucky enough to see sea turtles in the beautiful sea. 子どもたちへの対応、ご機嫌をとるのもとても上手なガイドさんで、長男が少し疲れただのグズグズ言ってましたが、たくさん助けていただき、感謝しかないです。

It was a peaceful place where we could enjoy canoeing leisurely, and the color of the sea was truly beautiful and moving! It was also lucky that we saw a rainbow. My son was a bit down due to the heat, but he cheered up during the snorkeling tour and was fascinated by the underwater world while holding onto a float with me, who can't swim. ①3ダイブのエントリーポイントについて
・1ダイブ目:知志
　最初にシュノーケリングをやり、慣れたところでダイビングに移る。ここで若干ダイビングの感を取り戻す。耳抜きは問題なし。ゴーグルの位置がやや上だったので耐えず水との戦いになる。
・2ダイブ目:野崎
　同じく最初にシュノーケリングをして、次にダイビング。ゴーグルの位置をインストラクターさんのアドバイスでやや上に修正。浸水がかなり減った。しかしゴーグルが曇ってしまい今度は視界との戦いに。耳抜きは問題なし。10m位まで潜ることができました。呼吸も意識的にゆっくりするように心がけることに余裕ができました。
・サンドトライアングル:2匹の亀に遭遇
　当初は予定していない3ダイブ目に挑戦。目的は亀遭遇狙い。運が良く2匹の亀と遭遇できました。耳抜き問題なし。ゴーグル浸水曇り問題なし。インストラクターさんの手を離れる時間も多く少し自力で潜れる自信がついた勘違いをする。途中でインストラクターさんがレギュレーターを口から外し、お掃除するお魚に口のなかを掃除させるパフォーマンスを実演。めっちゃ凄いなぁと思ったのと同時に笑えた。
②透明度について
ガイドに伺ったところおおよそ20m以上とのことでした。悪天候にも関わらずケラマブルー健在です！

We participated with my spouse and two others who were experiencing Miyako Island and SUP for the first time. We had hoped to join the Pumpkin Cave tour, but due to weather and sea conditions, it was canceled, and we were quickly switched to SUP instead.

The person in charge was Yuuri-kun, who was fluent in English and had a bit of a Kansai dialect. He provided thorough instruction for those new to SUP, and my two friends said they had a great time.

Although the weather wasn't ideal, it was a very enjoyable tour. Thank you! ♬

私たち夫婦と、宮古島&SUP初体験の2人と参加させていただきました。
パンプキン鍾乳洞のツアーを希望していたのですが…天候や海の状況で催行できなくなり、急遽SUPに変更していただきました。

担当してくださったのは、英語が堪能で少し関西弁のゆうりくんでした。
初SUPの方にも丁寧に指導してくださり、友人2人もとても楽しめたと話してました。

天候がいまいちでしたが、とても楽しいツアーでした。

We were able to enjoy stand-up paddleboarding in a calm strait with almost no wind, surrounded by beautiful nature, which was very relaxing. Everyone looked like they were having a great time, and that was the most important thing! I would be happy if we could do a snorkeling tour together next time.

It was a great decision to change the reservation to the next day since it rained and was canceled on the original day. The staff were friendly, and I made some wonderful memories. I might come back next year!

予約当日は雨で中止となり、翌日に変更して大正解でした
