It was still quite hot at the end of September, but it was a bit cloudy, making it a perfect day for sightseeing.

I participated alone, but I quickly became friends with the person sitting next to me on the bus.

We chatted while exploring, which doubled the fun.

At Kinkaku-ji, I also enjoyed matcha with that person. It was delicious and had a lovely atmosphere.

私は一人参加でしたがすぐにバスの隣の席の方と仲良しになりました。

その方といろいろと話をしながら回りました。楽しさが倍増しました。

そして、金閣寺ではその方とお抹茶も楽しめました。おいしかったです。風流な感じで良かったです。

I recently participated in the Japan Holiday Tour to Sapporo, which included Noboribetsu, Lake Toya, and Lake Shikotsu. I was so moved by the driver, the guide, and the tour content that I wanted to express my gratitude through this message.

First of all, regarding the tour content, it was designed to fully enjoy the great nature of Hokkaido. Every place we visited was breathtaking.

Particularly, Lake Shikotsu before sunset was quiet, and its beauty was even more pronounced. I was touched by the thoughtfulness behind planning our arrival at this time to showcase this scenery.

Additionally, the bus driver’s consideration was outstanding. The itinerary was quite packed in terms of distance and time.

Moreover, I had a schedule at Sapporo Station at 6 PM. When I informed the guide and driver Ito about this, they made sure to drive safely while also ensuring we arrived on time. I was truly moved by their efforts.

I believe there are no other drivers as wonderful as him, and I was deeply touched by his thoughtfulness.

The guide was also fantastic. He paid attention to the participants to ensure the bus could depart on time. He provided detailed explanations about our destinations so that participants wouldn’t get bored, and he genuinely cared for each individual, which was impressive.

Honestly, participating in this tour and meeting the driver and guide made me love Hokkaido even more.

I would definitely like to join again if there’s another opportunity. I was so impressed by the tour content and the thoughtfulness of the driver and guide.

運転手さん、ガイドさん、そしてツアー内容に

まずはツアー内容に関してですが
北海道の大自然を全て満喫できるような内容で

どの地に行っても感動ばかり

特に日の落ちる前の支笏湖は
静かで、その美しさをより
際立たせていました

この景色を見せるために
この時間に到着させようと企画した
その気持ちに感動しました

また、バスの運転手さんの
心遣いが素晴らしかったです

距離的にも時間的にも
かなり盛りだくさんの
行程でした

その上、私がは18時に
札幌駅で予定を入れていて

その旨をガイドさん
運転手の伊藤さんに伝えたら

安全運転をしながら
私たちの予定の時間に
間に合うように

心を使ってくださったことに
本当に感動しました

あんなに素晴らしい方は
他にいないのではないかと
思うくらい運転者さんの心遣いに
感動しました

また、ガイドさんも素晴らしかったです

While participating in other events in Sapporo, I joined a one-day bus tour. There were also foreign guests among us, and I was really impressed by the Chinese guide who explained various things fluently in Japanese, Chinese, and English!

First, we headed to Hokkaido Shrine. After our visit, the freshly made Fukure Mochi we had at the shrine's tea house was delicious! The time spent there was just right.

After that, we went to Shiroi Koibito Park. We had about 45 minutes there, which was enough time to see the gardens and do some souvenir shopping, but for those wanting to visit the paid area, it might feel a bit short. According to the guide, it's cheaper to buy Shiroi Koibito in the shopping streets of Sapporo rather than here, but there are park-exclusive products, so if you want those, it's good to buy them here!

Then, we headed to Otaru Canal, which I was most looking forward to on this tour. The weather was nice that day, and I was grateful that the guide took wonderful photos with the Otaru Canal in the background (the stay was just enough for photo opportunities). After the canal, we moved a little by bus to Sakaimachi Street for about an hour and a half of free time. However, a little incident occurred afterward... We decided to eat seafood donburi at Sankaku Market, which was about a 7-minute taxi ride away, so we moved right after the tour ended. Unfortunately, since it was lunchtime, there was quite a wait at the restaurant. I thought we would be fine with over an hour to spare, but we ended up running out of time... (By the way, we did get seated, but food took a long time to arrive, so we had to leave midway.) We hurried back to Sakaimachi Street on an empty stomach, quickly had lunch, and returned to the bus. You can also eat seafood donburi on Sakaimachi Street, and there are many souvenir shops, so I regretted how I spent my time. If you're considering lunch at Sankaku Market, I definitely recommend not going there! (Especially on weekends)

After that, we were on the bus for over an hour to our final destination, Cape Kamui. The weather was clear with beautiful blue skies up to this point, but it started to get cloudy as we approached the cape. Fortunately, we didn't get caught in the rain, and we made our way to the tip of the cape. I was shocked to hear it would take about 40 minutes to walk there and back, but since we had come this far, we decided to walk. Please make sure to wear sneakers. The path was steep, and I think it would have been quite tough in the blazing summer sun. It's a cliffside path by the sea, and depending on the terrain, there were places with strong winds and others that were calm, so the cloudy weather was a relief. By the time we reached the tip, we were sweating, so drinks are a must. There’s a vending machine at the entrance. The view from the tip was fantastic, and you can see the rugged path you walked, giving a sense of accomplishment (though you have to walk back afterward, haha).

Then, it took about two hours to return to Sapporo city. There were various drop-off points, so I got off around Susukino to match my evening plans.

Overall, it’s quite challenging to visit multiple places in one day on your own, so a bus tour is definitely convenient. However, since there are set meeting times at each location, it can be difficult to stay longer if you want to. The guide was very friendly, and the other guests were well-mannered, making for a pleasant experience. I would like to try a different tour next time I visit Hokkaido.

札幌での他のイベント参加のついでに、1日バスツアーへ参加しました。
お客さんの中には外国の方もいらっしゃって、中国人ガイドさんは流暢な日本語、中国語、英語で色々説明されててすごい感心しました！

まずは北海道神宮に向かいました。
参拝の後、神宮茶屋で食べた焼きたて福レ餅が美味しかったです！
滞在時間もちょうど良かったです。

その後、白い恋人パークへ行きました。
滞在時間は45分程度で、パーク内の庭園を見たりお土産購入くらいにはちょうど良かったですが、有料エリアの方に行きたい方には、ちょっと短いと思います。
ガイドさん曰く、白い恋人はここで買うより札幌市内の商店街?の方が安いらしいですが、パーク限定商品もあるのでそれが買いたい方はここで購入するといいです！

そして、このツアーで1番楽しみにしていた小樽運河と小樽観光へ向かいました。
この日は天気が良く、小樽運河をバックに素敵な写真をガイドさんが撮ってくれて有り難かったです。(写真撮影程度の滞在時間です)
運河の後にバスで堺町通りまでちょっとだけ移動して1時間30分くらいの自由行動でした。
ただ、この後ちょっとした事件が…
私たちはタクシーで7分ほど行ったところの三角市場で海鮮丼を食べようと決めていたので、解散してすぐ移動したのですが、ちょうどお昼時ということでお店はかなりの待ち時間でした。
とはいえ、1時間以上時間があるので大丈夫だと思っていたらまさかの時間切れ…
(ちなみに席に着くまではいきましたが、座ってから全然食事が運ばれて来なくて途中退出することに)
空腹のまま慌てて堺町通りまで戻り、パパッとお昼を済ませてバスに戻りました。
堺町通りでも海鮮丼は食べられるし、色んなお土産屋さんが建ち並んでるので本当に勿体無い時間の使い方をしたと反省。。
もし三角市場でお昼を、、と考えている方は絶対行かない方が良いです！(特に土日は)

そんなこんなで、バスに1時間以上揺られて最終目的地の神威岬へ行きました。
ここまでは綺麗な青空の快晴でしたが、岬に近づくにつれて曇り空になっていきました。
幸い雨に降られることなく、いざ岬の先端まで。
行って帰ってくるのに40分くらいかかると説明されて衝撃的でしたが、ここまで来たので歩くことにしました。絶対スニーカーで行ってください。
アップダウンの激しい道のりで、真夏の快晴だったらかなりキツかったと思います。
海沿いの断崖絶壁のような所ですが、地形の影響なのか風が強く吹くところもあれば全然というところもあり、曇り空で助かりました。
先端に到着する頃には汗もかいているので飲み物は必須です。入り口には自販機があります。
先端の眺めはとても良く、自分達が歩いて来た険しい道のりも見られるのでちょっとした達成感を味わえます。(その後また歩かないと行けないですが。笑)

そして2時間ほどかけて札幌市内へ。
色々な場所が解散場所になっているので、夜の予定に合わせてススキノ周辺で降車しました。

総評として、自分たちだけでは1日で何箇所も回るのはなかなか大変なので、やっぱりバスツアーは便利です。
ただ、各場所での集合時間があるのでもっと滞在したいと思っても途中で諦めないといけないのが難しいですね。
ガイドさんはとても気さくで、他のお客さんもマナーが良く気持ち良く参加できました。
今度北海道へ行ったら違うツアーにも参加してみたいと思いました。

I have visited Sapporo several times, but this time, I went to the Shakotan Peninsula for the first time on a bus tour departing from Sapporo. It was pouring rain while we were heading to the Shakotan Peninsula, but it stopped when we arrived. It was lucky that the rain stopped, but it was a shame that it was cloudy. I would like to try again next time when it's sunny.

何度か札幌を訪問したことがありますが、今回、札幌発のバスツアーで初めて積丹半島に行きました。　バスで積丹半島に向かっていた時は雨がザーザー降っていましたが、私達が到着した時は雨が止んでいました。　雨が止んだのはラッキーでしたが、曇っていたのは残念です。
次回、晴れた時に再チャレンジしたいと思います。

In a small tour group of 11 people, I was the only Japanese participant, while the others were from Taiwan and Hong Kong. The guide spoke Japanese, Chinese, and English, so I was able to enjoy the experience without any difficulties.

Thanks to all the participants voluntarily gathering five to ten minutes early, we were able to move smoothly, which allowed us to return earlier than scheduled, for which I was grateful.

During the break, the guide and the driver showed us highlights and photos from tours during the winter season, making me want to visit again in winter. Additionally, the guide provided detailed information about the restroom situations at each sightseeing spot, which was very helpful.

Although I participated alone, it was truly a delightful time.

総勢11人のこぢんまりしたツアーの中、日本人は私1人で、後は台湾と香港の方でしたが、ガイドさんが日本語、中国語、英語の3カ国語を話せる方で、何不自由なく楽しめました。
参加者の皆さん全員が自主的に5分前集合、10分前集合をしてくれたおかげで、スムーズに行動出来、それにより、帰りの時間も予定より早めに帰れてありがたかったです。
休憩時間中にガイドさんや運転手さんから、冬の季節にツアー参加した時の見どころやお写真を見せていただきだき、冬もまた行ってみたくなりました。
そして、ガイドさんには各見学場所のトイレ事情を細かく教えていただきとても助かりました。
1人参加でしたが、本当に楽しいひとときでした。

I participated in the ANA Blue Base Tour for the first time. I was curious about what happens at ANA's employee training facility, but during my visit, I was guided by an active flight attendant. I had never considered how many people are involved in operating a single airplane, but I was deeply moved to learn that these individuals are trained in this wonderful facility and are active in the field.

初めてANA blue Baseツアーに参加しました。
ANAの社員教育施設て、誰が何している所？？でしたが、私の参加した回は現役のCAさんの案内で、飛行機1台を飛ばすのに何人の方が関わっているいるのか？今まで考えても見ませんでしたが、その方達がこの素晴らしい施設で研修され現場で活躍されている事が分かり大変感動致しました。

Adult Social Studies Tour
I was able to glimpse how daily training is essential for the safe operation of aircraft. People of all ages, from small children to the elderly, can visit with their own thoughts and feelings. Although it was a short time, I enjoyed the extraordinary experience.

　［航空機の安全な運航の為に日々訓練が欠かせない］…垣間見る事ができました。小さなお子さんから年配の方まで、それぞれの思いを持って見学する事ができます。短時間でしたが、非日常の世界で楽しめました。

It would have been great to see the actual aircraft up close and observe various types of training, such as evacuation drills. However, the person who guided us was very pleasant.

航空機の実機を間近で見るとか、いろいろな業種の訓練を見れればよかった
例えば、避難訓練等。
ただ案内して頂いた方は大変好感が持てました。

We had a safe and timely bus tour, blessed with good weather, and it was a lot of fun. It was great to efficiently and enjoyably visit the famous spots.

安全にかつ予定通りの運行で、天気にも恵まれ、楽しいバス観光を過ごせました。
有名どころに効率よくかつ楽しんで巡れてよかったです。

There were about 25 participants, and I was the only Japanese person. The driver was the only Japanese person, which somehow made me feel reassured. (laughs) I think the tour guide was probably Chinese.

Since there were participants from various countries, there were no greetings on the bus and no local guidance. It’s necessary to accept that the tour guide is not a guide in the traditional sense. (laughs) However, they clearly communicated the meeting times, distributed brochures tailored to each country before arriving at each location, and provided simple explanations in broken language.

This may not be suitable for those expecting the services of a large Japanese travel company’s bus tour, but it was absolutely fine for me. I was able to visit places that are difficult to reach individually, enjoy sightseeing comfortably by bus, and had a wonderful day.

That said, there were indeed participants from various countries this time, but everyone adhered to the meeting times, there were no loud talkers, and everyone was quite reasonable, which might have been lucky. It might be better for those participating in this tour to not expect too much of a Japanese-style experience.

In any case, I had a great time sightseeing without any issues. Thank you for a fun day!

約25名の参加者で日本人は私だけでした。
運転手さんは唯一日本の方で何となく心強かったです。笑
添乗員さんは多分中国の方だと思います。
色々な国の参加者の方が居られましたのでバス内で挨拶もないし現地の案内もありません。ガイドさんではなく添乗員さん、と割り切るのが必要です。　笑
でも集合時間を分かりやすく伝えてくれたり、各地到着前に各国に合わせたパンフレットを配ってくれたり、片言で簡単な説明してくれたり、と、
日本の大型旅行会社のバスツアーサービスを期待してる方には向かないかもですが、私には全く問題ありませんでした。
個人では行きにくい場所にゆったりとバスで連れて行って貰えて観光も満喫でき、楽しい1日となりました。

ただ、今回は本当に様々な国の方が居られましたが、皆様しっかりと集合時間を守り、大声で喋る方も居ないし、常識ある方ばかりだったのがラッキーだったのかも知れません。
そこは参加者の方で差があるかもなのでこのツアーはあまり日本式を求めないで参加する方がいいかもです。

とにもかくにも私は何も問題なく楽しく観光させていただきました。

During my trip to Hokkaido for a live concert, I thought it would be a waste to only stay in Sapporo, and since I love animals, I decided to visit Asahiyama Zoo! So, I joined this tour. Unlike other zoos, you can search for animals hidden in the bushes or see them actively moving around in their enclosures, which made this tour a great success with a longer stay at the zoo! Even though we rushed a bit towards the end, my satisfaction level was high.

On the way back, there was an accident on the highway that caused a road closure, so we had to take a detour, which made us arrive later than planned. However, the experienced bus guide kept us informed about the situation and even added an unplanned bathroom break, which made me feel very reassured.

If I had one complaint, it would be that the location of the ticket center to show the voucher and receive the bus ticket was hard to find. There were several people from the same tour wandering around in a similar way. I think it would be the best tour ever if we could just clear up the bus ticket situation!

ライブ参戦のための北海道旅行で札幌だけだと勿体ないし、動物が大好きなので旭山動物園に行こう！ということでこちらのツアーに参加させていただきました☺️
他の動物園とは違い動物たちが茂みの中にいるのを探したり檻の中を活発に動いている姿が見れるので動物園の滞在時間が長いこちらのツアーにして大成功でした！
それでも最後の方は駆け足で回ったりしたのですが、満足度は高いです。
帰りの高速でアクシデントのため途中通行止めになっており一旦下道に降りたりして予定よりも到着が遅くなってしまったのですが、ベテランのバスガイドさんが状況が分かり次第都度報告してくれたり予定にはなかったトイレ休憩を入れてくれたりしてとても安心できました
ひとつだけ不満があったとすればバウチャーを見せてバスチケットを貰うチケットセンターの場所が分かりづらく、同じツアーで同じようにウロウロしている人が何人かいましたバスチケットのことさえクリア出来れば最高のツアーだと思います！！

I had a great time on the bus tour that effectively took us to all the places we wanted to visit. Unfortunately, the tour guide spoke continuously in Chinese. There were only a few minutes in Japanese and an hour in Chinese. I couldn't understand what was being said since it was in Chinese, but it was great that the driver pointed out to the tour guide, "There are Japanese people on board." Good job to the driver!

回りたいところを効果的に回れるバスツアーで楽しかった。残念なのは添乗員さんがずっと中国語で喋り続けていた事。日本語は数分、中国語は1時間。何を喋っていたのかは中国語だったのでわかりませんが、運転手さんに添乗員さんが「日本人も乗っているんだぞ」と注意してくれたのは、運転手さんグッジョブでした。

Churaumi Aquarium, Kouri Island, and Manzamo were all places I wanted to visit, so I was satisfied to see them all! I would have liked to take my time at a few more places, but I enjoyed the key spots! Okinawa is beautiful everywhere, the weather was great, and it was wonderful. The staff were polite, refreshing, and lovely. I would like to use this service again!

美ら海水族館、古宇利島、万座毛、どこも行きたかったところなので、全部開けて満足です！
もう少しどこもゆっくりじっくり回りたいところもありましたが、要所要所は楽しめました！
沖縄はどこも美しく、お天気も良く、最高でした。
スタッフの方も丁寧で爽やかで素敵でした。
また利用させていただきたいです！

On September 5th, at 08:50, a large bus carrying 38 passengers departed for Hokkaido Jingu. This shrine is dedicated to Emperor Meiji, who contributed to the development of Hokkaido, and is famous as a power spot where many blessings can be received, attracting numerous foreign tourists for worship. We arrived at Shiroi Koibito Park around 10:00. The 45 minutes spent there flew by as we strolled through the beautiful rose garden, perfect for photos, and searched for souvenirs. The soft serve ice cream here was particularly delicious. If time permits, there are paid experiences available for making sweets and original desserts.

After that, we arrived at Otaru Canal at 11:15. The canal is a relaxing spot where gas lamps light up at night, surrounded by nostalgic stone warehouses from a bygone era. We stayed for about 20 minutes before moving to the center of Otaru, Sakai-machi shopping street, where we explored shops like "Kamaei," which has developed here for a long time, the Western confectionery store "LeTAO," and the glass shop "Kitaichi Glass." We enjoyed a seafood bowl for lunch. Although we had a stay of 1 hour and 50 minutes, it was an unusually hot day exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, making us sweat just from walking, so we couldn't extend our visit to Sankaku Market.

Departing from Otaru, we arrived at our final destination, Cape Kamui on the Shakotan Peninsula, at 15:00. I was looking forward to the deep blue Shakotan Blue sea, but it was cloudy, and we couldn't see it. The wind was a bit strong, but it wasn't closed off, so we aimed for the tip of the cape. However, the distance felt longer than expected, and the walking path had ups and downs, so we decided to turn back midway. For those with mobility issues, the magnificent natural scenery typical of Hokkaido can still be viewed from the lookout point, so it's best not to push yourself. Nonetheless, it was a spot that made me want to challenge myself again. We left Cape Kamui at 16:00 and safely arrived at JR Sapporo Station's North Exit around 18:00. I was tired from the bus tour after a long time, but it was a fun day.

There were many Chinese tourists participating in this tour, so the tour guide was bilingual and provided very clear explanations. If I were to be a little greedy, I felt that the time spent in Otaru could have been reduced a bit more and redistributed to other locations. If I have the chance again, I would definitely like to participate in another tour organized by Veltra.

9/5日当日、定刻の08:50に38名を乗せた大型バスは北海道神宮に向けて出発、同神宮は北海道の開拓史に貢献された明治天皇が祀られ、多くのご利益が得られるパワースポットとしても有名で、多くの外国からの観光客が参拝されていました。その後、10:00頃に白い恋人パークに到着。写真映えする美しいローズガーデンの中庭を散歩したり、お土産を捜していたら、45分の滞在時間はあっという間でした。特にここでのソフトクリームの味は最高でした。時間があれば、有料ですがお菓子作りやオリジナルスイーツ等の体験が出来るそうです。

その後、小樽運河に11:15到着。同運河は夜にはガス灯が灯り、古き良き時代のノスタルジックな石造り倉庫が立ち並ぶ憩いの場所です。20分ほど滞在して、小樽市の中心、堺町通り商店街に移動、この地で古くから発展した「かま栄」、洋菓子舗「ルタオ」、ガラスの「北一硝子」等の店舗を見て歩き、昼食は海鮮丼を堪能しました。1時間50分の滞在でしたが、この日はとても北海道とは思えない30度越えの真夏日で、歩くだけで汗だくで、三角市場まで足を延ばすことはできませんでした。

小樽を出発、最終目的地である積丹半島神威岬に15:00に到着。真っ青なシャコタンブルーの海を期待していましたが、曇空で見られませんでした。風もやや強めでしたが、閉門にはならず、岬先端を目指しましたが、思った以上に距離を感じ、遊歩道はアップダウンもあり、途中で断念し引き返しました。特に足腰に問題がある方は、途中の展望台からでもこの北海道らしい雄大な大自然が見渡せますので、無理は禁物です。されど、もう一度チャレンジしたいと思わせるスポットでした。16:00には神威岬を後にし、ＪＲ札幌北口に18:00頃無事到着しました。久しぶりのバスツアーで疲れましたが、楽しい一日でした。

このツアーには中国系の観光客も多く参加されていましたので、ツアーガイドさんもバイリンガルで、とても分かりやす説明でした。ほんの少し欲張りなことを言うなら、小樽の滞在時間をもう少し減らし、他に振り分けても良かったのではと感じました。またチャンスがあれば次回もベルトラさんが企画するツアーにぜひ参加したいと思っています。　　

Furano and Biei, which my beloved wife hoped to visit, were wonderful! I had heard that they were truly amazing, but I was also moved. I want to come back together again, healthy and happy.

I signed up for the longest tour at Asahiyama Zoo. It lasted just over three hours, which was the perfect amount of time to leisurely explore the park while having lunch. I thought that if the stay had been any shorter, it might not have been enough.

The highlight of this tour was the wonderful stories and explanations from the bus guide, who was very considerate. They were easy to understand and pleasant to listen to, making the experience truly enjoyable. Additionally, the driver's careful driving made me feel safe throughout the ride. At certain spots on the highway with unique local traffic signs, the driver even changed lanes to make it easier for us to take photos. I would love to join this tour again when I visit Hokkaido next time. Thank you!

旭山動物園での滞在時間が一番長いツアーだったので申し込みました。
３時間ちょっとありましたが、昼食をとったりしながらゆっくり園内を回るにはちょうど良い時間で、逆にこれ以上短い滞在時間だと、足りなかったかもしれないと思いました。
そして、このツアーの一番の魅力は、バスガイドさんの気遣い溢れる素晴らしいお話と説明です。とてもわかりやすく、かつ、聞きやすくて、本当に楽しかったです。また、運転手の方の運転もとても丁寧で、安心して乗っていられました。高速道路でのご当地ならではの交通標識のある場所では、わざわざ、写真を撮りやすいように車線変更をするなどの気遣いもあり、また北海道に来たときはこのツアーに参加したいと思いました。

I participated in a sightseeing tour in Kyoto. I was thinking of exploring on my own by car, bus, or train, but I'm glad I chose this option. I was satisfied with the sightseeing, the guide's explanations, and I could take a nap during the transfers, which made for a fulfilling day.

個人で自家用車かバスまたは、電車で観光しようと思ったけど、これにして良かったです。
満足の観光、ガイドさんの説明、疲れたら移動中に寝られて一日中満足できました。

It was great to be able to efficiently visit all the places I wanted to go! Our guide, Mr. Zhou, spoke English and Chinese and was very cheerful, making him a great guide. Hokkaido Shrine and Shiroi Koibito Park were even better than I expected. The free time in Otaru started around 11:50, but I think if you want to make a lunch reservation, it could have been done after around 12:00. At Cape Kamui, the wind wasn't strong, so we were able to go all the way to the lighthouse. The scenery was truly wonderful. There was also a red fox in the parking lot, which made me feel like I got lucky.

小樽の自由散策は11:50くらいからでしたが、ランチの予約を取りたければ12:00過ぎくらいからなら予約できたかなと思います
神威岬は風も強くなかったので灯台まで行ってこれました。景色もホントに素晴らしかったです。キタキツネも駐車場にいたのでなんか得した気分でした。

At the end, I wanted a bit more time at American Village, so I asked to be dropped off there!

However, since we were trying to visit many places in one day, it inevitably felt rushed, so it might feel a bit hurried for those who prefer to take their time...

免許がないので今回頼みまたしたが、効率的に色々回れてよかったです！

最後アメリカンビレッジはもう少し時間が欲しかったので、そこで降ろしてもらいました！

ただ、1日でいろんな箇所行く都合上どうしても駆け足になってしまうので、じっくり周り方には急足に感じてしまうかもです。。。

Overall, I felt the quality of the guide was low.

- Communication
The guide was more like a pace-setter walking ahead rather than a true guide. They provided explanations at key points, but the content was very superficial. It would have been better to walk alone and read the informational signs. I asked the guide several times about plants and nature, but they mumbled and evaded my questions. They were probably not a professional guide, but rather a seasonal worker for the summer.

- Photography
At the photo spots, the guide took commemorative photos with their smartphone. As a result, there was no time to take pictures with my own camera. This was likely to save time. At first, I thought it was convenient, but I was surprised when I received the photos on the way back. They were taken with an iPhone's portrait mode, and the important Yakusugi and Jomon Sugi were out of focus (laughs). I couldn't help but laugh. While it makes for a funny story, as mentioned earlier, I couldn't take any photos with my own smartphone. I should have at least taken pictures of my companions. The memories consist of countless blurry photos of Yakusugi (laughs). By the way, the composition of the photos was also disastrous. If you're mainly going for photography, I wouldn't recommend this tour.

- Overall Tour Guide Experience
It’s not that the guide I had was particularly bad. I encountered about ten guides, and all of them had strong personalities. There were various types, including an aggressive older man who pressured the tour participants and another older man who only spoke to young women. To be honest, considering personality, our guide who didn’t talk much seemed better. I want you to understand that it was that bad.

- Issues with the Tour
The tour participants all took the same bus to the trailhead, which had nearly 60 people on board. It’s easy to imagine what happens when they all start at the same time. Most guides maintain the same pace, so it becomes crowded no matter where you go. You can’t relax at the photo spots, and despite being in Yakushima, the situation is perpetually crowded. If that’s the case, it would be better to go alone to enjoy the true essence of Yakushima.

- In Summary
Be cautious when booking a guide. The website states "guide required," but that’s to be expected since the site is run by those involved in guiding. If you have about six hours of hiking experience, I think it’s fine to go alone. The trails are well-maintained and quite easy to navigate. I believe beginners should hire a guide. They did a great job managing the pace and successfully took all participants to Jomon Sugi. However, you shouldn’t expect more than that.

I don’t understand why this tour has such high ratings.

総じてガイドの質が低く感じた。
・コミュニケーション面
ガイドというよりは、先頭を歩いてくれるペースメーカー。要所要所で説明を挟んでくれるが内容があまりにも薄い。これなら1人で歩いて説明の看板を見た方がいい。植物や自然についてガイドに何度か質問したが、ごにょごにょ話して濁された。おそらく専門のガイドではなく夏だけのバイトなのだろ。

・写真撮影
撮影ポイントでは、ガイドさんのスマホで記念撮影をしてくれる。それゆえに自分のカメラで撮影する時間は無い。おそらく時間短縮なのだろう。最初は便利だと思ったが、撮影された写真を帰り際もらって驚いた。iPhoneのポートレートで写真撮影されていた。肝心の屋久杉や縄文杉がぼけているのである(笑)。さすがに笑ってしまった。笑い話にはなるが、先述したとおり自分のスマホでは撮れていない。これなら同行者の写真だけでも撮っておけばよかった。思い出の写真は、無数のボケた屋久杉の写真だった(笑)
ちなみに写真の構図も致命的だった。写真撮影メインで行くのならツアーはおすすめしない。

・ツアーガイド全体
私のあたったガイドがとくにハズレだったかというとそうでは無い。ガイド10人くらいと遭遇したが、全員癖が強い。オラオラ系でツアー客に圧をかけるおじさんや、若い女性にだけ話しかけるおじさんなど様々だった。正直なところ、性格面で見ればとくに話さない我々のガイドの方がマシに思えた。それくらい酷いということは承知して欲しい。

・ツアーによる弊害
ツアー参加者は同じバスで登山口まで行くわけだか、このバスには60人近くが登場している。これが同時にスタートするとどうなるかは容易に想像がつく。だいたいどのガイドも同じペースなのでどこに行っても人だらけになるのだ。撮影ポイントでもゆっくりできず、せっかくの屋久島なのに人だらけな状況が永遠に続く。これだったら単独で行った方が屋久島らしさを楽しめる。

・総じて
ガイドの申し込みは慎重に。サイトを見ると「ガイド必須」と書いてあるが、そのサイトの運営はだいたいガイド関係者なのだから当たり前だ。往復6時間程度の登山経験者だったら単独でいっても構わないと思う。登山道も整備されており相当登りやすかった。登山未経験者はガイドをつけるべきだと思う。ペース配分はさすがで、参加者全員を縄文杉まで連れて行っていたのは流石と言える。ただ、それ以上を期待してはいけない。

I was finally able to do something I had been thinking about for a long time! This tour, which allows plenty of time at Asahiyama Zoo, was even more wonderful than I had imagined! Asahiyama Zoo is truly an amazing place! Thank you to everyone involved! After many years, this bus trip turned out to be a fun experience thanks to the driver and guide. I felt the driver's gentle driving that didn't tire me out and the guide's thoughtfulness. As expected from Chuo Bus! If I have the chance again, I would definitely like to request it! Thank you very much!

ずっーと思ってた事ができました！
旭山動物園にたっぷりいれるこのツァーは私が思ってた以上に素敵なツァーでした！旭山動物園はやはり素晴らしい場所です！関わっている皆さんありがとうございます！何十年ぶりのバスの旅も運転手さん、ガイドさんに恵まれた楽しい時間になりました。運転手さんの乗って居て疲れない優しい運転やガイドさんの思いやりを感じました。
さすが、中央バスさんです！
また、機会があればぜひまたお願いしたいです！ありがとうございました！

I traveled from Osaka to Hokkaido to participate in the dental conference held in Sapporo. I had one free day, so I joined this tour by myself.

Although I departed as scheduled on the morning of the tour, I found it strange that we weren't arriving at the first destination. The guide announced that due to an accident on the highway, we were running two hours behind schedule. My initial excitement turned to concern, but the tour company and the driver quickly adjusted the itinerary, omitting some stops and reorganizing the route to ensure that participants could enjoy the experience as much as possible.

In the end, we couldn't visit Cape Earth and Lake Shikotsu as planned, but the scenery at the places we did visit was truly wonderful. I was very satisfied to see the beautiful view of Mount Yotei, which I had wanted to see. I created unforgettable memories on my first visit to Hokkaido.

I believe everyone who participated was very happy with how the unexpected situation was handled. I am grateful to the driver, the guide, and the fellow participants who were with me that day. If I have the opportunity to visit Hokkaido again, I would definitely like to join a different tour.

札幌で行われた歯科学会に参加する為に、大阪から北海道に行っていました。
１日フリーの日があったので、こちらのツアーに1人で参加させて頂きました。

当日の朝予定通りに出発したものの、最初の目的地になかなか到着せず不思議に思っていると、ガイドさんから高速で事故があった為予定時間を2時間押しているとの放送がありました。
どうなるのかな？と一瞬にしてワクワクしていた気持ちが沈みましたが、その後ツアー会社さんとドライバーさんが色々考えて、省く場所とコースを組み直して参加者さんが出来るだけ楽しめるようにして
下さいました。
結果的に予定していた地球岬と支笏湖には行けませんでしたが、その日巡った場所での景色は本当に素晴らしく見たかった羊蹄山の姿もとても綺麗に見えて大満足の一日になりました！
初めて訪れた北海道で忘れられない素晴らしい思い出ができました。
想定外の出来事に臨機応変に対応して頂き、参加された方は皆さんとても喜んでいらっしゃったと思います。
当日お世話になったドライバーさん、ガイドさん、ご一緒させて頂いた方々に感謝致します。
またいつか北海道を訪れる機会があれば、ぜひ違うツアーにも参加させていただこうと思っています。

A plan that we could never have done on our own! There were moments when I wished we had a little more time, but I was really happy that we were able to visit all the famous spots within the limited time of our trip. It was truly fulfilling! And this level of satisfaction at this price is highly recommended! Thank you for a fun day! I would like to join another tour on my next trip!

On September 22, 2023, I visited Iriomote Island and Yufu Island. The itinerary and time allocation were just right, making it a very satisfying tour.

First, we boarded the ship and set sail smoothly without any delays. The weather was nice, so we could see the remote islands from the boat, and since there was a commentary on board, we arrived at Iriomote Island in no time while enjoying the view outside. After arriving, we smoothly transitioned from the Nakama River cruise boat to a bus, then to Yufu Island by water buffalo, followed by lunch, and finally back to Iriomote Island by water buffalo before returning to port.

Overall, the tour allowed us to act with ease and enjoy sightseeing without feeling rushed. The guides at each location provided clear and slow explanations, so I have nothing to complain about. It was a perfect score. It became a wonderful memory, and I will use this service again on my next trip.

2023年９月22日に西表島、由布島へ行ってきました。行程、時間配分ともにちょうど良く、大変満足出来るツアーになりました。

まず乗船から出港ですが、待たされる事もなくスムーズな出だし。天気が良かった為、船の中から離島が見え、説明も船内放送されていたので、外を眺めていたらあっという間に西表島に到着。
到着後は流れるように仲間川クルーズ船→バス移動→水牛で由布島→昼食→水牛で西表島→帰港となりました。

全体を通して、せかせかせずに余裕を持ちながら行動ができ、観光を十分に楽しめるツアーでした。
各所案内していた頂いた方々も、分かりやすくゆっくりと案内や説明をして下さったので、何も言う事はありません。100点です。
最高の思い出になりました。次回観光の際も利用します。

I am a local, but I participated with a friend who came from Osaka. I was looking forward to sightseeing in various places, but it felt a bit greedy, as there seemed to be little time at each location. Especially at Lake Toya, we had free time for lunch, but the restaurant we happened to choose was crowded, and we ended up just eating without even seeing the lake. There were many foreigners among the participants, as mentioned by those who had joined before, but thanks to the guide's excellent language skills in Japanese, English, and Chinese, everything went smoothly without any issues. I think it's great for those visiting Hokkaido for the first time, as they can visit popular tourist spots.

私は地元ですが、大阪から来たお友達と一緒に参加しました。
あちこち観光出j来るので楽しみにしていましたが、やはり少し欲張りのようで、見学場所の時間が少ないように感じました。
特に洞爺湖では自由昼食時間でしたが、たまたま選んだレストランが混んでいて、食べるだけで湖も見ずに終わりました。
参加者は以前参加した方の書き込み通り外国人が多く、しかしガイドさんの日本語英語中国語と素晴らしい語学力でトラブルも無く終わりました。
北海道が初めての人には人気観光地が回れ、良いかなと思います。

It was amazing!
My group consisted of six people in their 20s and 30s, plus our guide.
The guide was friendly and checked in on our condition regularly.
Since it was a younger group, the walking pace was fast and it was tough, but it felt like they adjusted appropriately for each group.
In exchange, they allowed us some time at the end to dip our feet in the river as a form of icing! I really felt the difference in my legs afterward. (I wished I could have soaked up to my thighs... Walking dries you out, so I thought it might have been better to wet my sports tights by going into the river...)
The return bus time was fixed, so if we missed it, we would be left behind, but the guide planned everything well, and we made it back just in time at 16:45.
On this day (September 19), there were fewer people, which allowed us to spend more time at key spots and take fun photos!
Snacks are essential (I mostly ate on the way there. I didn't take much on the way back since I had a bento in my stomach!). Even if it's sunny, the area around Jomon Sugi can be windy and cold, which feels refreshing for a hot body, but it gets really cold during lunch, so rain gear is a must!
Quick-drying T-shirts are essential! The 6:00 departure this time was fine without a headlamp as it got bright enough. According to the guide, it's right on the edge of needing one or not.
You can fill your water bottle at more than five places (including the river), so if you bring a 500ml bottle of water and a 500ml sports drink, you can keep refilling as long as you don't mind the river water!
I drank over 2 liters during this hike (in September). There were only two proper toilets, but it was fine since I was sweating it out. There is also a portable toilet near Jomon Sugi, so having one portable toilet is a good idea.
The two toilets had toilet paper.
I thought about bringing work gloves, but there weren't many trees or rocks that would hurt my hands, so I managed without them (as long as you don't slip!).
There were wooden benches and stones at key rest spots where we could take a break. Unless it rains heavily, you might not need an umbrella or leisure sheet since you'll be covered by trees and leaves, but a folding umbrella is essential! Mountain weather can change suddenly!
Trekking poles are a must for those who aren't confident in their stamina! I borrowed one from the guide.

There might be a lot I haven't written about...
Let's try to keep our backpacks light and avoid bringing unnecessary items!

私のグループは20代から30代の6人+ガイドさん
ガイドさんがフレンドリーで体調も都度確認してくれました。
若めなグループだったせいか、歩くスピードが早くて大変でしたが、多分グループ毎に適切な対応を取ってくれている感じでした。
そのかわりアイシングがわりに川に足を入る時間を最後取ってくれたりしてくれました！後日、足の具合が全然違うのを実感してます。(太腿まで浸かりたかった...歩いていると乾燥するからスポーツタイツ濡らしても川にはいれば良かったかも...と後日)
帰りのバスの時間が決定しているので乗れなければ置いて行かれるので時間厳守ガイドさんがちゃんと予定を組んでいただき16:45ギリギリで帰って来れました。
今回(9/19)は人が少なかったお陰で要所滞在時間が取れて楽しく写真を撮れました！
行動食(私はほとんど行きで食べました。帰りはお弁当がお腹にあるのであまり取らなかった！)必須、晴れててもこの日の縄文杉付近は風が寒く熱った体には涼しいですが、お弁当中はすごく寒くなってしまうのでレインウェア必須！
速乾性のTシャツ必須！今回の6:00出発はヘッドライトなしで明るくなり大丈夫でした！ガイドさんが言うには丁度いるかいらないかの境目らしい。
水は五箇所以上(川を含め)でペットボトルに入れれるので、水ペット500㎖以上、スポーツドリンク500㎖合計2本ほど持っていけば川の水が気にならなければ、ずっと足して行けます！
私はこの登山中2ℓ以上は飲みました(9月で)。トイレは2ヶ所(ちゃんとした)しかなかったですが、汗で出て行って大丈夫でしたが、縄文杉付近で携帯用トイレを使えるトイレもあります。なので携帯用トイレ1つはあると良いです。
トイレ2ヶ所はトイレットペーパーあります。
軍手もと思ってましたが手を傷つけるような木や岩はあまりなく、素手で行けました(足を滑らせないことが前提で！)
要所で休憩スポット木のベンチや石があり休めました。大雨が降らない限り木と葉っぱで覆われて傘やレジャーシートはいらないかも、でも折りたたみ傘は必須！山の天気は急変します！
トレッキングポール、体力に自信がない人必須ですよー！私はガイドさんの借りていまいました。

書けてないことが色々ありそうですが...
なるべくいらない物は持って行かないようにリュックは軽く行きましょう！

I had a memorable encounter with two Arctic foxes at Kamoi Cape. The tour guide was friendly and provided explanations in Japanese, English, and Chinese, which were appropriate.

神威岬で２匹のキタキツネに遭遇したことが印象的でした。
添乗員さんも気さくで、日本語、英語、中国語で説明も適切でした。

This was my first bus tour with my 6-year-old child, and we are both in our 30s.

**Important Note:** We gathered at the regular bus stop inside the North Exit concourse, but first, we needed to complete the ticketing process at the sightseeing bus reception inside the station. After checking in, we were guided to the boarding bus stop, which was reassuring. However, the initial check-in was a bit confusing, and I was anxious right before it, so I advise those who are not familiar to be cautious!

**During the Trip:** After that, traveling with my 6-year-old was smooth, and we had no issues with the timing or breaks. We successfully made the round trip to the zoo. The gelato from Iwase Farm on the way back had a wonderful milk aroma, and it was refreshingly delicious, no coffee needed!

**At the Zoo:** We spent about 3 hours exploring the zoo with my child, enjoying the sights and purchasing souvenirs without feeling rushed. The weather was cloudy with a temperature of 15.3°C, and the animals from the northern regions were relatively lively! The penguins didn't fly, but the wolves were quite active.

バスツアーに慣れていない30代&6歳の子供との2人参加です。
【注意事項】北口コンコース内定期バス停留所に集合ですが、まずは駅構内の観光バス受付で発券手続きが必要です。受付後は乗車バス停まで案内してもらえるので安心ですが、最初の受付がわかりにくく直前がヒヤヒヤでしたので、慣れていらっしゃらない方ご注意ください！
【移動中】その後は、6歳の子供と一緒でしたが途中休憩のタイミング、時間とも問題なく無事に動物園往復できました。帰りの岩瀬牧場さんのジェラートはミルクの香りがとてもよく、後味さっぱり美味で、コーヒーいらずでした。
【動物園】動物園では3時間子供と8割程度の散策とお土産購入を行いましたがゆったり時間に追われることなく見たいもの、体験したいもの制覇可能でした。当日は曇りで気温15.3℃で北国の動物は比較的元気でした！ペンギンは空を飛んでしませんでしたが、オオカミは活発でした。

I was moved by the sight of the female driver and tour guide, as well as the captain skillfully navigating the sightseeing boat.

The exploration tour that took us to three islands was wonderful. The sea and sky were simply beautiful.

ツアーを運行する女性ドライバー兼添乗員さん、遊覧船を自在に操船する船長さん、女性が活躍する姿に感動しました。

3島いいとこ取りの探検ツアー素晴らしかったです。うみと空がとにかく美しい。
