I participated in a tour that covered Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo in one day. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining, always attentive to the participants. Even though I joined the tour alone, I felt safe and was able to trek without getting bored during the long journey.

Along the way, the guide pointed out many photo spots and provided support for taking pictures at perfect angles, so I was able to capture a lot of wonderful photos. The follow-up after the trekking was also excellent, making it a very satisfying tour.

I was worried about the weather, but somehow there were some clear skies, and I was able to see a bit of Shakotan Blue. I thought it would just be about seeing the blue sea, but the towering cliffs were magnificent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the scenery that is characteristic of Hokkaido. The seafood bowl for lunch was delicious, and the extra order of sea urchin was truly exquisite. Both the driver and the guide were friendly, making for a pleasant experience. Thank you very much!

There was no tour guide; the driver handled the minimum explanations and roll calls on his own.

The plan suited us very well, but I think those participating for sightseeing or tour purposes might feel a bit unsatisfied.

On Iriomote Island, we experienced one of the few days of high tide that occur about eight times a year, and the water level was so high that we couldn't see the roots of the mangroves during the mangrove tour. However, we were guided through a route that can only be accessed during high tide. On Yubu Island, we enjoyed a round trip on a water buffalo cart and a lunch while exploring the island. On Taketomi Island, there were cycling courses available, and I was glad to ride the water buffalo cart again as I learned a lot about the islands. Since it's a small island, this tour, which can be completed in a day, was very enjoyable.

☆ Although you participated alone, there were no shared seats.
→ Our regular sightseeing bus does not have shared seating with other groups, so if you participate alone, two seats will be used.

☆ The course was not feasible to complete alone, but the stay time at each location was tight.
We do not recommend going down to the Shimamui Coast as it involves steep stairs, and returning can be difficult without sufficient stamina.

Regarding Cape Kamoi, if you wish to go to the tip, the time is a bit tight, so we will consider this for next year.

However, on the day of the tour I participated in, the bus was slightly delayed from the meeting time. Although we were told to contact them in case of delays, the contact number provided in the printed itinerary was unreachable before the boarding time, which raised some concerns. I suggest that the planning company confirm this with the local company, including whether my observation was correct.

I was worried about the weather, but at Lake Shikotsu, it was sunny and the blue, clear lake was incredibly beautiful. The sightseeing boat was very pleasant.
The meals at Lake Toya were even more delicious than I expected.
On the bus tour, I was able to enjoy sightseeing while thinking, "Wow, that's interesting!" thanks to the explanations provided.

I finally got to visit Yakushima, a place I've wanted to go for a long time. Since it's far away and I can't come frequently, and my stay was short, I wanted to see Jomon Sugi and also go to Shiratani Unsuikyo, so I decided to participate in this tour.

I thought it would be nice to have a trekking guide, but I truly felt the greatness of a professional guide during the 11.5-hour journey. They provided guidance, took photos and videos, and facilitated communication, which made the experience even better!

I booked with rental equipment included, and the rental staff were very accommodating, allowing me to participate in the trekking with peace of mind, thank you!

Thanks to the favorable weather, my body definitely felt the long hours of walking up and down (I'm not someone who exercises regularly, so gradually, some parts of my body started to hurt), but it turned into an incredible experience that I could only have here! The tour of Ishigaki Island is perfect for those without a car, allowing you to efficiently visit the highlights of the island in about half a day. At Kabira Bay, you can choose to ride a glass-bottom boat or go for a walk. The glass-bottom boat was available at a special tour price, making it a great deal. We even saw turtles!

The guide continuously shared various stories about Ishigaki Island without a break, which was very enjoyable. For lunch, there were plenty of local dishes, and I left feeling full. The view from there was also very beautiful.

In the latter part of the tour on Taketomi Island, there was no guide, but we showed our tickets to board the boat, and upon arrival, we were quickly picked up by a car, which then took us to ride a water buffalo cart. The flow of the tour was very smooth, which was great.

During the photo session with the water buffalo, we received a free commemorative photo, which was a wonderful keepsake. After that, we explored on our own, but due to the busy season in July, all the rental bicycles were fully booked, so I couldn't rent one. If you want to rent a bicycle, it might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance.

I explored on foot and enjoyed a leisurely time for about an hour and a half. For the return boat, you can choose between 4 PM or 5 PM. The shuttle bus to the boat was also smoothly arranged, which was very good.

その後は各自散策しますが、７月の繁忙期のため着いてからレンタサイクルは予約がいっぱいで借りられませんでした。もしレンタサイクル希望なら事前に予約がいいかもしれません。
私は徒歩で散策しましたが、約１時間半のんびりできました。
帰りの船は、16時か17時で選べます。船までの送迎バスも予約がスムーズでとても良かったです。

I thought it was a great tour that allowed us to efficiently visit sightseeing spots at an affordable price, offering excellent value for money! I was glad not to have to use a rental car. The vehicle was thoroughly sanitized for COVID-19 precautions, and we were required to disinfect when boarding the bus.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious sandwich that was served as a light lunch! We also enjoyed some chin-suko as a snack along the way!

The bus guide provided detailed explanations, which was great! I had a wonderful bus tour experience and would love to participate again on a different route!

The day before, I went to Taiko Rock in Shiratani Unsuikyo, so I was still feeling sore from muscle pain when I joined the Jomon Sugi tour. Since I was the only man besides the guide and the rest were women, the pace on the trolley path was manageable despite the soreness, but it got tough once we started climbing. Still, the guide took breaks at good intervals and was particular about the photo angles, taking many pictures, which made the climb enjoyable.

When I finally reached Jomon Sugi, I felt a sense of accomplishment and was glad to have participated, especially given the overwhelming presence of Jomon Sugi. On the way back… my knees were shaking. The descent was tougher than the ascent. Since we were ahead of other groups, we ended up descending to the banks of the Arakawa River for a cool down. I was fortunate to have a great guide.

前日に白谷雲水峡の太鼓岩まで行ったため筋肉痛の残る中、縄文杉ツアーに参加しました。私とガイドさん以外、女性ということもありトロッコ道は筋肉痛が気にならないペースでしたが、登り始めたらキツい。それでもガイドさんがいい間隔で休憩を取ってくれるし、写真のアングルにもこだわってくれてたくさん撮っていただき、楽しく登って行けました。
やはり、縄文杉にたどり着いたときは達成感と縄文杉の圧倒的な存在感に参加して良かったと感じました。
帰りは…膝がガクガク。下りは登りよりキツかったです。ほかのグループより早めだったため、ラストは荒川の川辺まで下りてクールダウンも。いいガイドさんに当たって良かったです。
