I used the service on a Saturday in April, and it was almost full. I thought it might be noisy since there were people from various countries, but surprisingly, the interior was quite quiet. You can choose your favorite seat in the order of pickup, so if you have more than three people, you might end up sitting apart, which is something to consider. I think it's a nice service that the guide asked for requests regarding drop-off locations. Overall, I believe it's a good course that allows you to visit the famous spots in Okinawa.

I participated in a tour that included a rental bicycle. It was prohibited to rent near the Taketomi Island port, so after arriving at Taketomi, we took a shuttle bus to the central area, about a 5-minute drive, to rent bicycles at a designated shop and start our sightseeing.

Unfortunately, it rained continuously on the day of the tour. The weather conditions were not suitable for cycling. (There's nothing we can do about the weather, though.)

The townscape was very beautiful, typical of Okinawa. The sea was also clear and filled with many fish. We couldn't climb Nagomi Tower due to its deterioration. I thought that for strolling around the central area, walking would be sufficient. In fact, on the way back, I walked from the central area to Taketomi Island port, which took about 15 minutes.

During busy seasons, the lunch spots on the island can get crowded, so it might be better to go a bit earlier.

I hope for sunny weather next time, and I want to try sightseeing again.

竹富島港付近でのレンタルは禁止されているとのことで、竹富到着後、

町並みは、沖縄らしくとても綺麗でよかったです。海も魚が多く綺麗だったです。
なごみの塔は老朽化で登れませんでした。
中心部付近の散策であれば、徒歩でも十分散策できる範疇と思いました。
実際、帰りは中心部から竹富島港まで歩きましたが15min程度だったかな。

繁忙期は、島内の昼食所は込み合いますので、少し早めに行った方が
良いかもしれません。

次の機会は晴れを祈って、また観光リベンジしたいです。

Traveling as a couple. This time, we booked a tour to leisurely visit two islands without being too greedy. Iriomote Island is rich in nature and perfect for relaxation, but if you're not an active person or nature enthusiast, you might find it a bit boring to stay for long periods since there are relatively few tourist spots for the size of the island. *However, it's a fantastic place for active people or nature lovers who want to stay longer.*

Yubu Island, on the other hand, has adorable cows. You can spend a decent amount of time there, so it's worth a visit.

Overall, the people in the Yaeyama Islands are laid-back, and there's less of the typical touristy pressure to buy things. However, Yubu Island did have a bit of a push for photos, which was a little disappointing.

All in all, we had a great time, so I give it four stars!

The lunch on Yubu Island was a bento, but it was very delicious. My mother was also very satisfied.

I was really looking forward to it after reading other people's comments, but it was just average, for better or worse. I was seated with someone else, and there was an uncomfortable vibe between us, which made it a bit tough for a long time. The tour had a tight schedule, so we skipped some places we wanted to see and returned to the bus early. Other guests were also punctual, so we were able to stick to the schedule. It was a wonderful experience. I'm glad I participated in this tour with my 76-year-old mother. Thanks to the staff's attentive service and good teamwork in communication, we were able to enjoy the tour smoothly without any worries. The lunch bento was made with local specialties and was very delicious. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained. The water buffalo moved slowly and leisurely, sometimes stopping for no reason or resting in the shade, which was very endearing and cute. I don't think such a flow of time exists in the city. The sound of the sanshin and gentle singing, the waves created by the water buffalo's movement, and the pleasant, clear breeze made for a lovely atmosphere. During the tour, my mother said she didn't feel any shoulder stiffness. The explanation from the glass-bottom boat guide was easy to understand and informative, making it enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very good on the day, but since we only stayed in Kouri Island for about 20 minutes on this course, it actually turned out to be a good thing! The Churaumi Aquarium had more attractions than I expected, and I strongly want to come back. The Eisa show and the Shisa performance at Ryukyu Village were also wonderful, and the audience was able to participate, which made it very fulfilling. However, I felt quite rushed during our stay at Ryukyu Village. After watching the show, we had to return to the bus immediately, so it's a bit disappointing that we couldn't experience more of the village we came to visit. Overall, it was a very fulfilling day.

We were also blessed with good weather, making it a valuable experience.

Although I was tired from my first trekking experience, it was so enjoyable that I want to visit Mount Miyanoura and Shiratani Unsuikyo as well. I definitely want to do this again!

I was a bit nervous on my first solo trip and was flustered, forgetting my umbrella at the hotel, but their gentle response made me feel very reassured. In the end, the umbrella was tucked away in the back of my luggage, originally in my carry-on bag, but I ended up wasting energy going back and forth to the hotel. However, I was able to enjoy the sightseeing thanks to the guide's excellent commentary and the driver's safe driving. The weather was such that I didn't need to use the umbrella at all, but I look forward to participating again on a sunny day when I can enjoy the views of Kabira Bay and Tamatorizaki without worrying about an umbrella. The option to stop at the airport was also very convenient and meaningful for first-timers or those who do not rent a car, making it a great way to make the most of the last day.

While I didn't know what to expect on the bus ride to the trailhead, I realized at the starting point that I would be climbing with a group of four. Since we were a smaller group compared to others, I could hear the guide's voice clearly. The guide led us with various legends, stories, trivia, and some silly jokes. His tales were very interesting, and the four of us were captivated by that world, making the long hiking trail enjoyable. I would love to travel with that guide again and would recommend him to my friends.

Although the course was quite challenging, the magnificent views afterward made me forget everything else. I would love to request this guide again when I visit Yakushima next time. I thought we could make it to Jomon Sugi on our own, but since it's a long way, I'm glad we joined a tour. However, the guide made a lot of negative comments like, "I’d rather be soaking in a hot spring than doing this," and there were many inappropriate remarks such as, "This group has the highest average age..." which felt out of place in a group mostly composed of women. I don't think there was any ill intent, but it was disappointing.

I went at the end of February. It was cold and the weather was a bit rough, but I had a great time.

I was able to efficiently visit Iriomote, Yufu, and Taketomi, which was nice.

Overall, it was a good tour, but if I had to mention something, it was a bit confusing when we arrived at Iriomote Island because there were other tour groups at the same time, and it was hard to tell which boat to get on.

We were very lucky because we actually got to see the mountain. Best viewing is in the winter because there is no fog. We had a stroke of luck (in April) and got to see the mountain from the bus. By lunch time the entire mountain was obscured by fog. This is normal, be prepared not to see it. We got to the 4th station (5th was closed due to dangerous weather). The only opportunity to see it is from the bus. The lunch was lovely and tasty and a good sized portion. If people on your tour are late you might miss out on some things because everything is timed to the minute. Be on time. Lake Ashi was pretty. The cable car ride was neat too. You're supposed to have a great view at the peak but as I said the fog obscured everything. It was still cool to go up, there's shrine at the peak and the view if nearby nature and the lake is great. You couldn't see Fuji. Our guide was incredible and offered a lot of information about the Japanese culture, the people and customs. It was a nice tour. We would have had a hard time seeing what we did in our own. It's not very accessible without a rental car.

The weather on the day was wonderful, and I was very satisfied! I started with a feeling of anxiety in the dark before dawn, but the guide's humorous stories helped make the trekking while enjoying the scenery a pleasant experience. I was glad to have a guide who took great photos as well.

We just arrived from a fun filled experience tour in Tokyo. Our pickup transfer driver/guide arrived on time but unfortunately we got lost in locating the exact meeting area because of the wrong map that was given by the agency. Through the help of a Filipina working at Narita airport we were able to contact our guide. Inspite of the rain, our guide Taji still managed to bring us to Meguro River with full bloom cherry blossom trees and to the (secret) as described by our guide long stretch of cherry blossom trèes not popular to tourists.He also recommended an authentic and tasty ramen for our group to try. Thank you Taji for the wonderful experience!

The day before going to Yakushima, I was anxious because the flight was canceled due to strong winds, but the weather improved, and on the day of the hike, we had clear skies, which happen only once or twice a month. The charter bus with no transfers to the trailhead was indeed convenient, allowing us to secure a place for breakfast and use the restroom without any issues, enabling a smooth start to our hike.

The hiking trail itself is well-maintained with trolley paths, wooden paths, and stairs, so I felt there was no worry of getting lost, making it a mountain that one could tackle alone. However, the trolley path is quite long, and there are hardly any signboards, so if I, a beginner with no exercise habits and a woman in my 50s, had gone alone, I think I would have gotten tired of walking and missed out on enjoying the beauty of the mountain. Especially if the weather had been bad... just thinking about it sends shivers down my spine.

While nodding and laughing at the guide's stories, we maintained a perfect pace, and honestly, I thought, "Did we already arrive?" It was such a fun experience meeting Jomon Sugi. The guide said, "You all were invited by Jomon Sugi on such a nice day," and I truly felt like I was "well taken care of," enjoying the mountain to the fullest.

If you want to see Jomon Sugi but are not familiar with the mountains, I absolutely recommend a guided tour! I think it provides peace of mind in case the weather is bad or if any troubles arise.

　屋久島に行く前日は飛行機が欠航になるほどの暴風で不安になっていましたが、天気も回復、登山当日は月に１，２回くらいという快晴になりました。
登山口まで乗り換えなしのチャーターバスはやはり便利で、朝食を食べる場所の確保やトイレ使用も問題なく、スムーズに登山開始できました。
　登山道自体はトロッコ道と木道、階段などで整備された道なので、迷う心配もなく一人でも行ける山だと思いました。でもトロッコ道がとにかく長く、案内板などがほとんどないので、初心者×運動習慣なし×５０代女の私が一人で行ったら、歩き飽きてしまって山の良さを感じることができずに帰ってきただろうなと思います。ましてやもし天気が悪かったら・・・考えただけでゾッとします。
　ガイドさんのお話にうなずいたり笑ったりしながら、ちょうどよいペースで、正直「もう着いちゃったの？」と思うくらい楽しく縄文杉に会ってくることができました。「こんないい日に来た皆さんは、縄文杉から招待されたんですね」と言われましたが、まさに「十分にもてなしてもらった」そんな気分になるくらい気持ちよく山を満喫することができました。
　縄文杉は見たいけど山に不慣れな一人旅にはガイドツアー絶対おススメです！天気が悪かったり、何かトラブルがあったりしたときも安心だと思います。

Although we could only stay one night in Ishigaki Island, I wanted to visit other nearby islands as well. I particularly wanted to go to Taketomi Island and ride the water buffalo cart, and I was pleased that there was enough time to enjoy both the water buffalo cart ride and the glass-bottom boat. I went expecting only the Churaumi Aquarium, but I really enjoyed interacting with the butterflies at Ryukyu Castle. The lunch here is Okinawa soba, which is very simple. It's really great for tourists without a car to be able to explore various places.
