I was scheduled to return home on a flight at 3:25 PM, and I was wondering what to do in the morning. Since I returned the rental car the day before, I had to use the monorail anyway, so it worked out really well.

I arrived at the airport just after 1 PM, and I was able to enjoy a leisurely lunch and buy some souvenirs. The guide's stories were really fun, and the driver was very safe.

If possible, I would have liked an additional 30 minutes after Okinawa World. I would like to use this service again.

I was easily taken to these two places by bus.
I recommend that those participating in this tour wear comfortable shoes because you'll be walking in nature! It's not paved, and you'll be walking quite a bit.

I hesitated about whether to go to the mossy forest, but I’m glad I pushed on to Taiko Rock. The mossy forest has its own charm as well. 何を選んだらいいのか分からない上、何度使うかわからないものであり、収納場所も考えなくてよかったからです。

前日のガイドさんの話の通り朝から雨で、レンタルしたレインコートは初めから着て来るようにとのことでした。
私服はトレッキング用ではなかったこともあり、寒さもしのげて大活躍でした。
リュックカバーはなかったので、リュックに入れるものはビニル袋に入れてからリュックに入れました。

現地に到着までの間もガイドしてくださり、ガイドブックにはない屋久島を知ることができました。
私と息子以外にもうお一方とご一緒でしたが、満遍なく心配りをしてくださったおかげで、最後に4人で写真を撮るまでになりました。
それだけ頼りになり心開けるガイドさんでした。
経験に勝るものはないと改めて実感しました。

ガイドさんの傘を差しながら登っていく姿は、気持ちだけでも見習いたいなと思いました。
また、パノラマ写真の使い方も教えていただき、撮ってくださる体の柔らかさも見習いたいと痛感しました。
トレッキングの目的はさることながら、人生の学びにもなりました。

また地元の方はハイキングレベルらしいですが、平野で育った私にとっては山登りでした。
雨は降ったりやんだり程よく、暑くて汗だくになることもなかったので、視界が遮られることはなかったです。
むしろ何も気にせず水溜りを歩くのは童心に帰ったようになり、雨で濡れた苔や木々の中を歩くのは神秘的でした。
ガイドさんが噛みしめて話してくれるように、昔の方が造って歩いたところと思うと、不思議な感覚でした。

個人でのトレッキングも検討しましたが、どの道を歩いていいのか迷いそうな所もあったり、時間配分等、初心者はツアーにして良かったです。
苔むす森までにしようか迷いましたが、太鼓岩まで頑張ってよかったです。
苔むす森までも、それはそれで趣があっていいものです。
太鼓岩はトレッキングにしては短いのかもしれませんが、そこに立ったとき、感慨深く感じられました。

I participated in the Ganga-ranger Valley tour, and the local guide's explanations were interesting and engaging, allowing me to learn a lot! On the last day of sightseeing, I had planned to explore the southern area by transferring between local buses and shared transport. However, I realized that if I made even one mistake, I might not make it to my flight, so I decided to join a tour at the last minute. On the way back, I was taken to the airport and made it to my flight with plenty of time to spare.

The Sata Andagi recommended by the guide at the ticket booth in front of the Sefa Utaki was delicious!

I was impressed by how enjoyable the bus guide's stories were! Visiting the Sefa Utaki and the Gyokusendo Cave was both fascinating and worthwhile. I joined the tour because I wanted to see the giant banyan tree in the Valley of Gangala. The banyan tree was as impressive as I expected, but I was overwhelmed by the sheer size of all the plants in the forest and the richness of nature. In my case, after returning to Kokusai Street, I had lunch at Makishi Public Market while it was still bright out, and then I just wandered around that area. I think it worked out perfectly.
