As we drove up into the mountains, it felt significantly colder when we arrived at the starting point compared to when we left the hotel. It would be good to have a neck guard and gloves. The round trip took about three and a half hours. We took a break of about 20 minutes at the final destination, the mossy forest, and the Yakushima tankan we received was sweet and very delicious. 往復3時間半くらい。最終地苔むす森では20分ほど休憩します。頂いた屋久島たんかんが甘くてとても美味しかったです。
トイレは登山口のスタート地点と帰路の途中で声かけがありました。

It was very disappointing that we couldn't land on Barasu Island due to the bad weather, but the cave exploration in such challenging conditions was thrilling, and I'm glad I participated. I also visited a tourist limestone cave in Ishigaki, but it was completely different from this experience. If you're coming to Iriomote, I highly recommend immersing yourself in nature. The guide was very kind and constantly checked on us throughout the experience. I would love to participate again when I come back to Iriomote.

On the third day of my four-day trip to Miyako Island, I signed up for a tour. Since the start of the trip, we had been experiencing cloudy weather, and our sightseeing on the island was limited to driving and visiting the underwater park. まずサップから始まりました。わかりやすいレクチャーがありはじめての海でのサップもとても楽しめました。なんと言っても海が綺麗！サップの下に見える透明な水は決して本州では見ることのできないものでした。イムギャーマリンガーデンの橋を越えていざ外の海に行くとそこでは湾の中とは違い荒々しい波が待ち受けていました。風や波に煽られながらも必死にサップを漕ぎました。外海では何枚も写真を撮ってもらいました。そんな中ふと空を見上げるとそこには久しく見ていなかった太陽がありました。この旅行始まって以来の青空と太陽。テンションの上昇は果てがありませんでした。
場所を移して今度はシュノーケリングをしました。シギラビーチについた時には今までの二日間が嘘だったかのような晴天でした。3月なのにもうそこは常夏の楽園と化していました。お姉さんの丁寧な説明の後すぐにシュノーケリングが始まりました。海に入るとすぐに魚や珊瑚が見えました。太陽の光もあり海はとても綺麗でした。まるで自分が水族館の中にいるかのように感じました。あまりの魚の多さにずっと驚きっぱなしでした。シュノーケリング程度では魚なんか見れないだろうしダイビングの方がよかったかなと思っていた自分が恥ずかしかったです。約2時間の行程でしたがあっという間に終わってしまいました。とても満足でした。
後日レジャー中の写真を送って頂きました。ロケーションもアングルも最高の写真たちでした。説明からレジャーからとても満足のツアーでした。また宮古島に旅行する時には是非リピートしたいと思いました。

About a year ago, I participated in a tour for pumpkin caves and sea turtle snorkeling. Since I enjoyed it last time, I decided to join again this time.

We gathered at Shinjo Beach at 9:00 and first did the sea turtle snorkeling. The sea was very beautiful, and I was able to see many fish. We quickly encountered sea turtles as well. Swimming alongside them and seeing them up close was a memorable experience. We finished around 11:00, had lunch, and then regrouped at another beach at 13:00 for the afternoon activities.

In the afternoon, we tried stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). At first, I was scared and worried if I could do it, but I gradually got used to it and was able to paddle while standing, which was great. Even someone like me, who doesn't have good balance, was able to stand, so I think anyone can do SUP if they get the hang of it! We enjoyed it until around 15:00.

ウミガメシュノーケリングもSUPもたくさん写真を撮って下さいました。思い出に残るツアーでした。また宮古島を訪れた際には参加させていただきます。

The course choice by our wonderful guide, Miyuki, was great! We went through a mangrove tunnel crouching down, and she guided us to places that felt like a limestone cave, with some spots where we had to lie down to pass through, haha.
Of course, she also provided explanations about Ishigaki's nature and the mangroves.
Thank you, Miyuki, for teaching us kindly and sending us so many photos.
Even though it was our first meeting, we somehow connected right away and had a very enjoyable time together.

We participated as a family of five! The weather was unfortunately drizzly, but it actually made the mangrove greenery look beautiful and very soothing. Plus, I had a bad sunburn from the previous day's water activities, so the cool weather felt nice.

Two out of the five of us were trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for the first time, but thanks to our guide, Miyuki, who was very supportive, we quickly got the hang of it. My youngest son (13) was eagerly waiting for someone to lose their balance and fall off the SUP, and sure enough, my eldest daughter (20) spectacularly lost her balance!

She did a great job (^^). We all laughed and created wonderful memories together. (I also fell off twice when I first tried it on Iriomote Island.)

午前中は青の洞窟の探検とシュノーケリングを、午後からはマングローブ林でカヤックを行いました。
晴天で気温も暖かく、全く寒さを感じることなくアクティビティを楽しむことができました！シュノーケリングでは綺麗なサンゴや熱帯魚を見ることができてとても感動しました。カヤックでも野鳥やマングローブを間近で見ることが出来て楽しかったです。
午前と午後でインストラクターさんが変わりましたが、2人とも丁寧に説明していただき、シュノーケリングもカヤックも初めてながら十分楽しむことが出来ました。また、石垣島に来た次の日だった為、石垣島についてあまり知らなかったのですが、おすすめのスポットや飲食店などを教えていただき、とても助かりました。写真もたくさん撮っていただきありがとうございました！参加してよかったです！

My first time in Miyako Island, my first time snorkeling and canoeing. First of all, I was very surprised by the clarity of the water!

The weather was clear, and it was beautiful just from above, but when I actually dove in, it was even more stunning, filled with vibrant fish and coral. The snorkeling happened to be a private experience, and our guide, Kumachan, taught us in a fun and thorough manner! He had a great vibe and took amazing photos and videos for us! Kumachan was the best ☺️. Also, I was lucky enough to see sea turtles twice and was moved by how close I could get to them.

In the afternoon, we went canoeing at Ingyamarine Garden. They also taught us carefully, and it was easy to paddle! There was even time for us to paddle freely, so I was able to leisurely go wherever I wanted and take my time taking photos, which made me very satisfied.

After the activities, I felt wonderfully tired, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much‼️ I highly recommend it, and I hope many people get to enjoy the sea of Miyako Island.

アクティビティ後は楽し疲れで終われたことが凄く良かったし、一生の思い出です。本当にありがとうございました‼️
オススメなので是非色んな人にも宮古島の海を堪能して欲しいと思いました。

It wasn't exactly easy, but it was better than I imagined. There was another group with participants in their 70s, and they reached Jomon Sugi around the same time as my group, which only had people in their 20s. They looked cheerful and were laughing on the bus ride back! For those who are going, I highly recommend wearing sturdy shoes and socks. I got blisters from my unfamiliar hiking boots, but the guide lent me long socks, which helped prevent severe pain.

別のグループでしたが70代の方も参加されており20代しかいなかった私のグループとほぼ同じタイミングで縄文杉まで辿り着いていし帰りのバスでも元気そうに笑っていました！
これから行く人はとにかく靴と靴下をしっかりした物にする事をオススメします。
私は慣れない登山靴で靴擦れしガイドさんが長い靴下を貸してくださりそれのおかげでひどい痛みにはならずに行けました。
