This was my first time participating, and the tour guide skillfully used three languages to provide guidance, sharing recommended spots and souvenirs, which made the tour very enjoyable with a lot of information.
They also took photos for me, and even though I was alone, I had a great time.
The place called Cape Earth had sparkling waters and was very beautiful.
I would like to join a different tour again.

For our first couple's trip, we chose Kyoto. We imagined it would be about food tours and shrines, but my husband suggested, "How about river rafting?" I thought, "River rafting, huh? I can't really imagine that," but I made a reservation thinking it would be a memorable experience. To sum it up, it was amazing! I want to do it again! That said, maybe we just had a great boat. We were in a group of three, and they rowed and steered the boat for us. Their skills were impressive, and for about two hours, they entertained us with wonderful stories and also shared the history of Kyoto. Next time we visit, I definitely want to ride again. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

とはいっても私達の船が当たりだったのかもしれません。
３人1組で船を漕いで運転してくれます。
技術も素晴らしいですし、何より約この２時間。素晴らしいトークで笑かしてくれて、それに加え京都の歴史なども教えてくれます。
次も訪れた時には必ずまた搭乗したいと思います。

The bus assigned to us was a rather old microbus that could seat about 20 people. The engine noise was loud, and the vibrations resonated in my back and bottom, making for the worst ride. My spirits really dropped. There was no tour guide or attendant; just a Chinese driver who drove silently.
Even when passengers boarded the bus, there was no greeting or mention of the destination; we just departed in silence. Upon arriving at the sightseeing location, the driver simply said, "This is ○○. We will gather at ○:○○."
By contrast, the first bus was a splendid large tour bus with a guide. I think the disparity is just too great. It might be due to the number of participants, but to have such different treatment on the same tour route is quite disappointing.
The weather was nice, and the content of the course wasn't bad, which makes it all the more regrettable.
2号車です…と宛がわれた車両は20人乗りくらいの相当古いマイクロバス。エンジン音がうるさく、振動が背中やお尻に響く、最悪の乗り心地。かなりテンションが下がってしまいました。。添乗員やガイドも不在、黙々と運転するだけの中国人ドライバー。
乗客がバスに乗り込んでも、挨拶どころか行き先も言わず、黙って出発し、見学地に到着すると「○○です。集合○時○分です」と告げるだけ。
ちなみに1号車は立派な大型観光バスでガイド付きでした。あまりにも格差が大きすぎると思います。
参加人数の都合で致し方ないのかも知れませんが、同じツアーコースでありながら、ここまで待遇が違うとは…。
お天気もよく、コースの内容としては悪くなかっただけに、とても残念です。

On my fourth solo trip to Hokkaido, I participated in a bus tour for the first time. I was able to visit not only Lake Shikotsu, which I had always wanted to see, but also Lake Toya, Showa Shinzan, and Mount Usu. Despite the quick pace, I was blessed with good weather and was very satisfied.
Even though they are the same type of lake, the colors were completely different, and each offered a memorable landscape that I still can't forget, along with the tranquility of those scenes. The lunch I had while gazing at Lake Toya (was it too luxurious?) was also delicious.
During the travel, I was able to listen to interesting stories about the sights and their history through earphones, which made the long travel time enjoyable without feeling bored. A fond memory was finally seeing the summit of Mount Yotei (Ezo Fuji), which had been hidden by clouds throughout the tour, just before reaching Nakayama Pass.
4度目の北海道ひとり旅で、今回初めてバスツアーに参加しました。
ずっと行きたかった、支笏湖だけでなく洞爺湖、昭和新山&有珠山まで、駆け足ながらお天気にも恵まれ、大満足です。
同じ湖でも、湖の色がまったく違い、でもそれぞれに印象深い風景で、今でもあの光景と静けさは忘れられません。
洞爺湖を眺めながらいただいた昼食(豪華すぎる？)も、美味でした。
移動中も、イヤホンで観光案内やそこにまつわる歴史など、なかなか興味深い話が聞けて、長い移動時間も退屈する事なく過ごすことができました。
ツアー中、ずっと雲で隠れていた羊蹄山(蝦夷富士)の頂上が、中山峠の手前で最後に見れたのも良い思い出です。

In the morning, I was worried about the rain when departing from Sapporo, but at the destination, it was sunny and the scenery was absolutely beautiful.

In mid-October, we were blessed with perfect weather, making it an incredibly enjoyable experience. The two-hour course included everything from explanations and changing clothes (putting on raincoats, boots, and life jackets) to the kayaking experience and receiving photos, so the actual kayaking was probably about an hour. However, it was quite satisfying due to the physical activity involved.
We paddled through a very calm and sparkling lake with a transparent bottom, with only the wind and waves from distant sightseeing boats creating some ripples. It was impressive how quiet it was, allowing us to hear the guide's voice clearly amidst the magnificent scenery.
The soft serve ice cream we had afterward was delicious! It was such a wonderful experience that I would love to go again in a different season.
10月の半ばで、これ以上ないお天気に恵まれて、最高に楽しい体験でした。
説明、着替え（カッパと長靴、救命胴衣の装着）、カヤック体験、写真受け取りまで全部含めて2時間のコースなので、カヤック自体は1時間くらいだったのでしょうか。でも、運動量もあるのでかなり満足感があります。
風や遠くの遊覧船で起こる波があるくらいでとても穏やかでキラキラの湖面を、底が透明なカヤックで進みます。雄大な景色の中なのに、ガイドさんの声がよく聞こえるくらい静かなのが印象的でした。
終わってから食べたソフトクリームの美味しかったこと！
また違う季節にも行ってみたいと思うくらい素敵な体験でした。

I participated with my mother in her 60s. I feel that the charm of the bus tour is being able to travel comfortably without the need to rent a car and drive in the vast Hokkaido. Thanks to the favorable weather, we were able to fully enjoy the magnificent nature at both Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya, and I felt it was a great location to participate in. The tour schedule and the time allocated at each spot were just right, and the guide's instructions were smooth, which made me feel at ease. During the travel, there was an audio guide (available in multiple languages) that provided knowledge about the characteristics of the regions we passed through, local legends, and the animals that inhabit the area, allowing us to spend our time without getting bored. The bus reception, the guide, and the driver were all foreigners. However, I was able to spend my time without any issues. The time spent at each sightseeing spot was just right, and I was able to enjoy the tour without getting bored. Unlike typical budget bus tours, I was relieved that I wasn't forced to visit souvenir shops. The guide was also very considerate at each destination and was a nice person. Lake Shikotsu was very beautiful. I would like to participate in other bus tours from Veltra when I visit Hokkaido again.
バス受付、ガイドさん、運転手さん全て外国人でした。が、困る事なく過ごせました。
各観光地での時間もちょうど良く、飽きる事なく観光できました。よくある格安バスツアーのごとく、無理矢理お土産屋さんに連れて行かれる事なく安心です。

The 400 km journey was quite difficult for me to manage on my own, but since I wasn't driving, I was able to look around and even doze off a bit while visiting various places, which was great. However, the time spent at each location was a bit short. The description of Hell Valley mentioned a foot bath, but there was really no time for that. I love breathtaking views, so I was very satisfied to see beautiful scenery in various places, and the bear ranch was also interesting. If I had to say, I feel like it would have been better to skip Hell Valley and go for the Usuzan Ropeway instead. Overall, it was a very satisfying day.
1日400kmの行程は、自分ではなかなか行きにくいけど、運転しないのでキョロキョロしたり居眠りもしながら色々周れて良かった。
ただ、各場所の滞在時間は短め。
地獄谷の説明には、足湯があると書いてあったが、とてもそんな時間は無い。
絶景が好きなので、きれいな景色が色々見れたことは大満足だし、熊牧場もおもしろかった。
しいて言えば、地獄谷やめて有珠山ロープウェイとかの方が良い気がする。
トータル的には大満足の1日でした。

Most of the participants were foreign tourists. The tour guide was fluent in multiple languages and provided detailed explanations in three languages. Lunch was free, but the tour guide kindly recommended places (affordable and delicious options, and what to eat there), which I thought was truly wonderful, even though it was part of their job. The weather was also fantastic that day, and my friends who came from afar were very happy. I would like to participate again in a different season.

I had a great time visiting many places and enjoying the natural scenery! I wanted to see a little bit of various locations, so it felt a bit rushed at times, but for us, it turned out to be a very satisfying bus tour. There were also foreign travelers, but everyone was well-mannered, and I didn't have any unpleasant experiences on the bus. We left Sapporo before 8:00 and traveled quietly for about an hour and a half to see the Hell Valley in Noboribetsu. After a 40-minute drive, we enjoyed the view of the sea at Cape Chikyu, then moved on to the Bear Ranch and saw the Showa Shinzan outside. We then headed to the Toyako Onsen area for a free lunch time of 70 minutes, but since it was an unfamiliar town, I struggled to find a place to eat and ended up returning late, which was a bit of a hassle. We then took a bus for about an hour and a half towards Lake Shikotsu, but by the evening, the shops were starting to close, which was disappointing. We returned to Sapporo around 17:30. The scenery is beautiful and it's a famous tourist spot, but I think the charm of a sightseeing bus tour is listening to various explanations. I felt a bit neglected with the "Japanese can just walk around freely" treatment. I would recommend this for those who can gather information and enjoy on their own.

I had read reviews in advance mentioning the large number of Chinese participants and the unfriendliness of the guides, but I thought it would be fine as long as I could use it as a means of transportation. However, on the day of the tour, about 20-30% of the participants were Japanese, and the guide provided explanations in Japanese to Chinese very kindly.
The activity itself felt quite busy, moving from one great spot in Hokkaido to another, leaving little time to relax and take in the sights. However, it was the perfect plan for my greedy desire to visit various places little by little!
There were also Chinese and Korean participants, but their manners were good, and there was no excessive noise.
