Great trip! Shame about weather but what can you do?
Reviewed by: Ah , 2020/03/04It was a great trip. Hiro was a lovely guide, very helpful and friendly. Sadly the weather was very poor due to bad luck and we couldn’t see Mt Fuji but she bought us all a lovely postcard instead which was really sweet of her. The locations were still beautiful, the small villages were so peaceful and relaxing compared to the madness of Tokyo and the trip well organised.
We took the options to not include the meal and trips and just paid upfront for the cablecar which is all we wanted to do. We also bought our own lunch instead of having the western style meal as it didn’t appeal as much. The fact that this trip has options is one of the main reasons we chose it and I’m very glad we did so!
I would highly recommend this company for any tours!

Very nice day!

The best way to see Fuji San!

Memorable Day Trip

The fifth station was closed due to snowy conditions so we were brought to a village instead where we could still see Mount Fuji. We wished we had the chance to taste the spring water there but we were lagging behind everyone because we had kids with us and needed more time getting around. The tour covered sufficient places which gave us many opportunities to view Mount Fuji. We had lunch in a lovely restaurant with a full view of the mountain. The food was ok. The area around restaurant was really cute and it would be good if we could have additional time there. I understand though as that it was not the focus of the tour. Most of the time was allocated for the ropeway up to view the mountain and the lake cruise which was a very wise decision. We totally ourselves there. Overall, the tour felt rushed especially so if you have kids with you but understandable due to time constraints.

Great tour at a good price
Reviewed by: Katie H., 2019/12/03This was a great tour, unfortunately Mt. Fuji was hidden with fog but I still had a great time.
The tour guide, Terri, was so sweet and her English was quite good, she was very clear on where we were going, how long we had there and when we needed to be back on the bus. She had plenty of information about building and sites we saw or were going to along the way.
We stopped at a rest station for a bathroom break along the way, there is a Starbucks in there in case anyone needed some extra caffeine.
I do really wish we have more time at 5th station, 30 minutes just doesn't seem like a lot of time. I never did find the Fuji shaped bread I think it was in a shop I didn't get too nor did I make it to the shrine.
The lunch at Fuji Q Highlands was delicious, it came out quick so if you are a fast eater like I am you can get done in about 30 minutes and have time to do a little exploring before you leave.
The Lake cruise was a bit cramped, my friends and I managed to get seats inside which is good because it was really cold outside. On a nice day I'm sure sitting out on the deck of the ship would be lovely. On the ship we got fortunes, which our guide happily read and explained to us what they meant.
The Kachi Kachi Ropeway cable car was very crowded (the ropeway crams so many people in the car on the way up). Once up top it wasn't bad, I bet the views are spectacular when its not cloudly/foggy. There's not much to do up top in bad weather but it was nice to check out.
There is a couple of shops at the base of the ropeway that are cool, we were given a coupon for a free ice cream or 300 yen off of a purchase which was an unexpected surprise.
The ride back to Shinjuku was fairly quiet, but our tour guide had some more cool information to impart to us about buildings that were lit up at night. She even handed out some origami cranes to all the attendees.
All in all it was a great experience and I would happily go again.

Great lunch and scenery but limited time at spot

The booking details did mentioned the waiting location was at Shinjuku Center Building with a person holding sign board, however, the building area is quite big with few entrances, unluckily, Google brought us to incorrect entrance and we spent some time to find the correct entrance. After boarded bus, the lady tour guide provided each family a handout and started to introduce Japan and Tokyo. She seems just read some script for the whole introduction. We hardly can understand what was she talking due to different slang. It took us about 3 hours to reach 5th station. Before alight, the lady tour guide just informed us need to be back to the bus in 45 mins. No further information was provided. We did not know what to expect and what to do after alighted bus. The handout that she provided earlier was for the 2nd itinerary, cruise and ropeway and nothing about 5th station. It was a rainy day and was very cold. End up we spent the 45 mins to search and queuing up for toilet. 1 of the family didn't get back to the bus on time. We being 'punished' to have shorter lunch later. The ambience of the lunch venue as well as their meal was great. We enjoyed very much for the lunch. After lunch, while we getting up to the bus, the lady tour guide distributed each of us 2 vouchers, one for cruise and another one for free ice-cream. Unfortunately, we were being distributed with the wrong numbers of voucher. We got 1 more free ice-cream voucher but 1 less cruise voucher. While we noticed this mistake, it was too late to clarify with the lady tour guide as she was left with the bus. We were being arranged to get back to Tokyo with different tour guide and different bus. Overall, we did not have good experience with the services that this tour provided, but we would like to praise for the great lunch, clean bus and beautiful scenery. We hope we can have more time at 5th station.

Great day Trip tour to Mt Fuji

We booked for a Sunday and traffic to Fuji was thick and delayed which shortened time at the portion of tour visit to station of Mt Fuji. Also very crowded on Sundays. Tour guide was very pleasant and spoke very good English. Ropeway ride and lake cruise were a good combination. Tour Bus was clean and comfortable. Lunch stop and restaurant was great. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking to book a tour for Mt Fuji.

Limited time at the fifth station

During the 45min, we were only able go to restroom as the restroom were so crowded, and took a few pictures around the shops..no time to walk around the fifth station at all..after that we head for lunch. The ambience of the restaurant was nice but we were only given 45min to finish our lunch..Lastly we went to cruise and ropeway before we headed back to shinjuku at 5pm. The overall experience was not very good as we spent most of the time traveling and limited time at the spot, the lady guide was not very friendly and instruction given was not clear.

My mt mufi experience

Perfect Trip

The activities are given enough time to enjoy and appreciate Mt Fuji from the 5th Station to the Ropeway and the Cruise. Lunch buffet was at a hotel near Fuji Q with a wide variety of food.
I read a lot of reviews complaining about not seeing Mt Fuji - it’s not the tour agency’s fault. Luckily it was very sunny and we saw Mt Fuji in all its glory.

Tour guide was great!

Restaurant food was really good, again we wished we had about 15 minutes longer to enjoy our meal and view. If the bus left an hour or two earlier from the starting point we would have had more time to enjoy the sites and not be so rushed.

Amazing day trip!

First off the bus that is provided is very comfortable. It is very clean and a smooth ride.
Our guide, Yusuke, was very kind and informative. Constantly pointing out landmarks and giving tidbits as we were riding towards Mount Fuji. His English is good, so feel free to ask questions!
The first part of the trip, they took us very close to the summit of the mountain. It was an amazing view. The day we went, it was very clear to see Fuji. Gorgeous!
Afterwards we were brought to a French restaurant. The food was good. I'm personally not big on French cuisine, but both of us enjoyed it.
The ropeway is probably my favorite part of the trip. The view that it brings you was absolutely mind blowing. The mountain was full view along with the city.
The cruise was fun. We timed the cruise to coincide with the sunset. The sunset along with a clear view of the mountain is fantastic. It was about a 15 minute ride so theres plenty of opportunities to get some good pictures.
Finally, you are given a voucher for some soft serve ice cream. We both chose the lavender flavour, surprisingly delicious :)
We highly recommend this day trip, especially if you just want to see the mountain and don't plan on staying in the area longer than a day.

well organised tour

Staff Akito was friendly, though her English was not easy to understand but she was helpful. We had a short toilet break halfway. Weather was great that day, we got lucky. Stopped at the 5th Station for around 40 mins. Very cold, beware. 3 course lunch was nice. Cruise was short but nice. Same area was the ropeway ride which we spent an hour at the top waiting for the foggy weather to clear but it didn't. We got the ¥300 worth voucher, u can redeem either an ice cream or a souvenir. Left at 4.30pm and got to Shinjuku around 6.15pm.

Great tour with friendly guides
Reviewed by: Selena, 2019/10/24I went on the tour with my sister two days after the October typhoon. Due to a landslide caused by the typhoon, we had to take a detour, which resulted in additional travel time. Unfortunately, we were not able to travel up to the 5th station due to the change in schedule/timing. We were also not able to see Fuji-san due to the cloudy weather. But we understand that this is beyond the tour company's control. On the flip side, the tour guides were extremely friendly and tried to make up for cancelling the 5th station trip by providing some snacks, which were quite thoughtful. Overall, I like how the tour guides were organized and upfront about the change in schedule. They also incorporated some humour when interacting with us, which made us feel welcomed. The ice cream at the end of the tour was a nice touch to complete the experience (we recommend having the peach flavour!). I can imagine that the itinerary would be perfect if the weather was accommodating. We will definitely come back again, perhaps during spring time when Mt. Fuji is more visible.

Outstanding 1-day Mt. Fuji trip for foreigners
Reviewed by: Tuan, 2019/10/03The overall experience was outstanding. Both the tour leader and bus driver were very friendly and offer assistant in any way they can. At every stop the tour leader explained very carefully what to do and when we need to get back to the bus. The 5th Station was cloudy and we did not get the chance to see Mt. Fuji. Same for Lake Kawaguchi. However after riding the ropeway to the top of the mountain and wait for a while, we could finally see the peak of Mt. Fuji. Such an amazing experience. The best part of the tour is the western-style lunch at a very cozy restaurant, and the $3 coupon. We did not use the coupon to buy ice cream but to buy souvenir because there are many selections.

Awesome Full Day Experience!

Incredible day exploring Mount Fuji and lake kawaguchi!

Our tour leader was extremely informative, happy and spoke great English. The 5th station was cloudy but it was a lovely area to walk around and the views were still incredible. The boat journey on Lake kawaguchi was stunning and peaceful. What made the whole trip was when we went up the ropeway the cloudy had moved and we could see Mount Fuji clearly. A lovely touch at the end was a voucher for ice cream. I would recommend this trip to everyone who want to see Mount Fuji or just wants a trip outside busy Tokyo.

The highlight of our trip!
Reviewed by: Crystal Robens, 2019/06/19The guided tour picks up at Ikebukuro or Shinjuku station. Our tour guide was Nobu and he was quite wonderful! The bus ran right on time. It wasn't full for the day we chose because it was an overcast day. Mount Fuji peeked out of the clouds for just a moment while we were at the top so we got to see it!! It was awesome!! The tour hits up the Mt Fuji 5th station shop, includes a lunch at a French restaurant (with special accomodations for the vegetarian in our group). You get a $3 souvenir or ice cream voucher too. The cruise on the lake was the best part! If I was making a suggestion, the top of Mt Fuji and the amusement park could be 15 minutes longer and the lake area could be 30 minutes less in exchange. Other than that it was the absolute best and I would recommend to anyone!

Mt. Fuji Fifth Station – It was cold with heavy rain in the trip to Mount Fuji. The tour guide was nice and caring. She was a Japanese with good spoken in English.
Lunch at Fuji-Q Highland was very great and the food was delicious. The environment in the restaurant in Fuji-Q Highland was nice and grand.
Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi & Fuji Panoramic Ropeway
- We spent enough time in a boat at Lake Kawaguchi and Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. I enjoyed the trip and eating delicious soft serve ice cream.
Again, it was a Great tour! it was very convenient.
I really enjoy the trip in Mt.Fuji 5th Station and Lake Kawaguchi Panoramic Tour and I will recommend to my friends to join this tour.

Wonderful Trip
Reviewed by: Syella Sinsilia , 2019/06/14I highly recommended this tour if you want to go to Mount Fuji. The bus was cleaned and the tour guide gave tour description for every accurately. Lunch at Fuji Q highland park was delicious and served very well. Although it was raining all day during the trip but we can enjoy it. We have enough time for cursing at Kawaguchiko lake and enjoy fantastic view during the ropeways. My children loves the free ice cream voucher.
I gave 5 stars for veltra and thank you for given us a memorable and wonderful journey in Mount Fuji.
