The lake kawaguchi and the visit of the sanctuary so peaceful after the crowded lake was magical.

The overall pace of the tour was too fast. Our time at the arakura sengen and oshino hakkai area was too short. We no longer had enough time to see the shops at Gotemba Outlet Store. Perhaps the tour duration should be e... morextended to at least 10 hours. The bus should depart from Tokyo earlier so the group could have a better chance to see Mount Fuji earlier in the morning.

Tina, our accommodating tour guide spoke English clearly and audibly. The bus was fairly new and very tidy.

this is a great full day tour from tokyo, but was never a dull moment on the wholw trip. guide was informed, helpful , and very fun! ever stop was full of hstory and great views. mt. fuji was everything we hoped it woulf... more be. fun boat rides and the bullet train blow us away.

This tour is hugely dependent on the weather. On the day, it was rainy and foggy. That in itself was uncontrollable by those running the tour but what was disappointing was leaving the Gotemba Outlet at 15:30 to arrive b... moreack at Shinjuku at 17:00. The schedule stated two hours at the outlet and leaving there at 16:00. If the entire tour group didn't spend all that much time outdoors because of the weather wouldn't it make sense to spend the extra time at the outlet rather than arriving back in Shinjuku an hour early?! We were told there may be traffic on the way back but that hardly justifies getting back an hour early.

I was very lucky that we had a clear day during our Mt. Fuji trip so the group I was with was able to do and visit all the attractions as stated on the description except that we were only able to visit 1st station since... more 4th and 5th station were closed due to heavy snow. It's not a big deal though as there are still lots of chances to see the magnificent Mt. Fuji on the way. If you're planning to visit Mt Fuji during winter, make sure to layer well since its colder there compared to the city. Expect as well a long travel time from Tokyo to Mt Fuji as it's roughly 139 km away. And lastly, I highly suggest to take the option with Bullet train as it will only take you 40 mins back to Tokyo compared to 2-3 hours travel back by bus.

FYI, the bus first row (left and right) are reserved for the guide and driver#2!
