Tokyo
Guides were excellent... if you are on short trip this is excellent tour to get acquainted with the main attractions in Tokyo.
It was great to have a tour and not try to figure out the trip to mt Fuji ourselves. Breath taking views! Tour guide spoke English well just hard to understand at times due to accent. Wish we had a little more time to explore at ropeway stop. Overall great tour!
This was one of the better hop on/off bus tours I did in Japan. The timetables were fairly good and there was a good number of stops. Staff were all very friendly and well informed about the bus routes. I recommend doing both blue and purple routes.
On the blue route most people only get off at Tokyo Skytree and it is worth it. However, the next bus is in an hour and then 1.5hrs (2.5hrs from when I got off). I just about managed to get back down within an hour because I bought a fast lane ticket at double the price, because I didn't want to spend 2.5hrs at the one spot.
As they only accepted a printed ticket from their office it meant finding Veltra office. However, I wasted a bit of time in the morning finding Veltra. I eventually found it when I asked Sky Bus Tours office where Veltra was and they said "that's us" - don't know how I was suppose to know that. So you should google map search Sky tours not Veltra.
The most annoying thing about the tour was the timing of the guide audio; it was either interrupted by the next location fact or it'd say "look to your left and you'll see..." and it was nowhere in site. I think this could be resolved if the driver went slower. Alternatively, investment in a better audio system would be ideal judging from other people's reviews.
The weather was perfect, it was very clear to see the top of Mt Fuji. The guide was very talkative and informative. We really enjoyed our trip. Ninja village was very attractive.
Thank you for joining tour and review.
We are happy to hear that.
We hope you have a lot of memories.

We love all the places we went to! Our kind of tour because we love nature. It is highly recommended for families.
Nice trip , wonderful memory and nice trip group. The guide was very helpful and always try her best to provide help and support fir the group. But schedule was rushed and we always felt we out of time. Overall it was a good trip.
This tour was one of the best we’ve had. We got to see so many sites in one day. Tour was on time and the journey in the bus was made interesting and fun thanks to our knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide Levin! Oh we also got to see the magnificence of Mt Fuji because it was a clear day! What a treat!!
Thank you for joining our tour.
We are happy to get 5 stars.

We could only go to the first station because of the weather. We made an extra stop at a lake since we had extra time. It was a mostly sunny day, the views of Mt Fuji were pretty good. The lunch was buffet style with plenty to chose from. The tram ride was the best part. The views from the top were fantastic. The bus ride back is boring so bring something to do.
Our tour guide was very knowledgable and had a great sense of humour. Everything was very organized and the bus trip was very comfortable.
Nikko and Kegon falls was just beautiful even in the cold. I would definitely do this tour again at a different time of year as i imagine it to be stunning and lush in Spring, Summer and Autumn. It was a day well spent.
The bus and the route were good but the commentary was poor. There could have been so much more information provided, about the history of the city, interesting characters that have lived in Tokyo, about the design of the city, about the evolution of architectural styles, about how people lived 100, 200 years ago. I stead the commentary was dull. A pity.
This was my first time in Tokyo with my wife, and It was a perfect day for city tour with clear sunny day and little bit of cold .Ar the imperial palace we took lot of pictures and the guide also assisted us in taking our couples pictures , we had ample time to see around the imperial palace .at akasuka temple area, we got ample time to go around and explore the area on our own and we really enjoyed the place.thwn we had a nice lunch in a nice restaurant, specially the guide told us that sumo wrestlers take this lunch and the sumo stadium was right across the restaurant.
Then we also enjoyed the fish market and particularly my wife enjoyed the cruise part which was thirty minutes in which you again go through all the important bridges of the city and gives you a nice view of the city .it was really nice tour which we enjoyed a lot and we had time for shopping at some places which was very cheap. And the guide was very helpful and and he gave us tip all the time during the tour like where we can shop and eat if we like , and those tips were very helpful. I really liked the guide , he was very helpful.
Thank you for joining our tour and review.
We are happy to get a great review.
Please visit Japan again.

The tour was good. Ability to see mount fuji really depends on the weather. The guide tried her best. English was good. Cost can be cheaper
We hada gret time for this trip. Especially my boy was very happy because it was the first time of seeing snow. The lunch also very nice. Too bad we only can go to2nd station due to the snow and weather. Highly recommend to return Tokyo by Shinkansen because it save much more time.
We booked this tour for our first day in Japan.
It was a great introduction to Japanese culture and history.
The pickup and timing was all very efficient. The two tour guides where friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining.
The tour was really enjoyable and educative. The sceneries were amazing. The tour guide was very kind and accommodating to assist us and extend extra services to his customers.
It was only frustrating that we did not reach the 5th station since the access was closed due to the climate condition. However, the overall experience was great
Everything was perfect. Guide speaks well English and also very helpful.
The day tour from Tokyo was as promised.
The guide assigned to us, Ms. Rayko, was informative and very professional yet warm. She was well versed with the history and shared pertinent facts about the places we visited.
The food served during lunch was simple but well prepared.
Would I recommend this tour to friends? Yes!!!
Fun tour! The no lunch options are slim but still delicious. Mario was very helpful and nice. Definitely worth going to see Mt Fuji.
Thank you for your message.
We are happy to hear that !!
We hope you have a lot of memories in Japan.
We were not able to see the whole of Tokyo. Since they hardly speak english, we missed our bus. And the next bus we had to take was on its way back to our pick up point. If we take another color coded bus, it would be too late for us to go back to Shinjuku where we are staying.
Everything was great. The tour guide was pretty good. Bus and the drivers were pretty good. Overall everything was good. Nothing to complain.
Depending on where you are picked up, the pick up can take some time before the tour starts. In my case, it was more than an hour. Just be prepared for this.
While in Japan I saw some of the most breathtaking places I have ever visited, including Mt. Fuji. We were going to attempt a trip on our own, but were so very glad we signed up for this tour!
The day trip to Mt. Fuji and Hakone was great. The early am hours were foggy to really enjoy the mountain. The guide was excellent and had great time in the afternoon. I would recommend this tour !
I booked a 12 hour private tour for a group of 8 with transportation - October,2017.
Our quide (Taiji) met us at the Yokohama port (we arrived via cruise ship) at the designated time. We visited Rikugien Japanese Gardens, Imperial Palace-East Garden, National Museum of Tokyo, Senso-ji temple & Nakamise St.
We had an amazing lunch and traditional Japanese dinner. The only thing would have been to have some time for shopping. We also went to Shibuya Crossing before returning to Yokohoma. The weather was rainy so that contributed to a long day!
Guide needs a microphone in van so all can hear him.
Our group was VERY pleased with the service and sites!
Do Not hesitate to use Veltra!
Dear Julie
Thank you very much for choosing my service and booked for a whole day tour.
It's been a while and I hope you had some more good times on your cruiser ship discovering different countries and cities around the world.
I'm very happy to have received such nice feedback with 2 very nice pictures.
It was also a good experience for me to have organised a long day tour and have contributed to make you know little better than before.
Please feel free for any assistance in Japan if you or your friend will ever have the chance to come.
I myself enjoyed the dinner in that authentic restaurant.
Thank you for everything.

The places we visited were all great with magnificent views! But we wish we could’ve stayed longer per area. We wanted to try out more activities at the ninja village and also stroll around a bit more ti check out stalls and souvenirs at Oshino village. Our tour guide Kim was helpful and accomidating as well!
Lunch was great! It was a buffet and everything was delicious. Blueberry Ice cream at Kawaguchiko lake was phenomenal. Even though it’s in the middle of winter, it’s highly recommended!
Overall, it was an amazing trip. We were able to go to all places since it was a sunny day.
Thank you for your message.
We will improve the time management.
We hope you have great days in Japan.

Mary the tour guide is very good on her job. I like the lunch and we are on time of the schedule.
Very professional tour leader on this trip.
Definitely will book another tour when I'm back to Tokyo.
It was a good trip in Hakone, good organize and good staff.
My husband and I took this tour as part of our first full day in Tokyo. We didn't really know what to expect. We are normally brave travelers who use public transit to see metropolitan cities. However, the more I researched more about Tokyo's attractions the more I began to feel overwhelmed. Enter Veltra and the Grand Tour Highlights with English Guide and Lunch Included!!! It was everything we could've hoped for. A great mix of traditional Japanese shrines and temples with a touch of modern tour attractions. The tour guides were so informative and friendly. Our bus driver was skilled and friendly, too. We actually missed our meeting time by 7min (because we exited the wrong exit in the Tokyo train station - we should've given ourselves more time to navigate that train station...read it'll take you 15 minutes - no joke- to go from one end to the other). Even though we missed our scheduled pick-up time, because we had pre-paid they left someone behind to wait for us and take us by cab (we paid $11 for the cab ride) to where the bus was making it's final pick up of people. The lunch that was included was delicious! We felt like we had enough time at each stop to explore on our own and make it back to the bus. Our guides were always very clear about what time and where exactly to find the bus. They counted us each time to make sure we didn't get lost - we felt very safe and well taken care of.
I was so impressed with the booking process on Veltra that I did not hesitate to book a similar tour to this in Kyoto. The instant confirmation and voucher system on the app makes it easy to use on the go!
The tour was great despite the fact that we were not able to do the ropeway because of the volcanic activity. They refunded the payment for the ropeway though and it was already stated in the voucher that this may happen so we were fine with it. Mt. Fuji was not be visible on the day of the tour as well due to the weather (there is also a disclaimer in the voucher that this might happen) but, we were happy it snowed. It made the trip more fun. Later in the afternoon though, we were luckily enough to be able to view mt fuji from the gotemba outlet. We couldn't see the peak because of the clouds but we were still happy to be able to get a glimpse. The food was great as well. The tour guide spoke in english which was a plus because it made communication easier. So happy we booked this!
