Tokyo
Tour Guide is great
Tour was well organised but our stop points could have been much longer. The stop at Mt Hakone was very short especially for those who took the later gondola. By the time we reached the top, we had only barely 10 minutes to explore before the next scheduled gondola, as the bus will be leaving by then. It will also be good to cater halal lunch instead of vegetarian lunch for Muslim tourists. Thanks!
We had a fabulous time with our guide Taiji. Not only did we luck out in mid December with nearly perfect weather that afforded us with gorgeous views everywhere of Mt. Fuji, but Taiji was able to recommend some great sightseeing as well as shopping spots to us. The highlights included an amazing visit to the kimono museum that Taiji recommended to us that included a magnificent tea room, as well as a fantastic local lunch spot that also included an amazing photo gallery upstairs with one-of-a-kind shots of Mt. Fuji. What an utterly memorable and unforgettable experience! Thank you for all of your hard work and wonderful guidance, Taiji!
Thank you so much Derek for your kind comment.
It was a great pleasure to receive and attend your dads anniversary trip. The tea room was awesome and did not expect that all of you will love the museum so much.
It was also nice to discover the grape jelly that I'm now recommending to my new guest when I take them there.
We were lucky to have had such nice weather for 2 days and were able to take some beautiful pictures of Mt. Fuji.
Thank you for the dinner at the end of the day at Ginza.
p.s.
And thank you for the happy news about the wallet that came back, trust us lol.
The Ninja Village is a boring place with no activity. First thought of the place is a Theme Park exploring attraction. Nothing to experience with, just a young girl with Facebook frame posing as Ninja. The lunch is interesting though, but many tourists wasted food.
The trip ends after a brief site visit of Mount Fuji and a food street village. Tour guides rest and everything quiet inside the bus on return trip. No interaction among participants and no group photography session. Everyone minding their own business.
Thank you for joining our tour and your review.
We apologize that we made you disappoint on the tour.
We will improve our tour.
We hope you enjoyed in Japan

Tour guide was really animated and helpful.
Awesome experience and what an awesome guide we had (Mayumi). The tour was smooth from bus transfer to Mt Fuji etc till we rode back to our hotel via Shinkansen. Won't hesitate to book any tour someday with City Discovery.
Mt. Fuji and Hakone tour is great experience in Japan. Super enjoy. The tour guide is knowledgeable to her job interesting no dull moment when we're the way to mt. fuji. The food is too simple but its ok, but the nature that you see can full your eyes wow!!! superb!!!!. Make it sure you bring along your powerbank so you will not miss all the pictures and videos that you want. The only think that we do not want in all our tour is the service way back to our hotel... We are all tired for the whole day tour but we have to go back on our own to our hotel... Should you have a pick up and transfer back to hotel for the comfort of the guest? its a suggestion. The food and transpo is much expensive than other countries. Tokyo Station is much complicated thou there are signages...But overall thanks to City Discovery..we really enjoy the tour...
Loved the tour and the way it was organized. The guide was wonderful and kept us entertained all through out. The lunch was great, and finally the breathtaking views of Mt fuji. We couldnt make it to the 5th station because of the snowfall a few days back, but it didnt dampen the tour at all.
One of our most memorable trip in Japan is at Mt. Fuji. No hassle, great views our tour guide even helped us with our lost phone at mt. fuji. Thanks again!
We were lucky on the day we visited. Sky was clear and we were able to see Mount Fuji and also visited the Owakudani Valley (and eat the Black Egg!). Our tour guide, Kana-san speaks good English and clear. She also gave us alot of visitor information on Japan. We did not make any lunch reservation therefore we ordered food from the hotel on that day itself - not too pricey, for about 1300yen and you will get a quite decent bowl of Hot Udon with tempura.
Worth going for this tour!
Unfortunately with the traffic, touring by Coach was not a good idea as we spent most our time travelling. May be going by bullet train and meet at the station would have been better, Drivers and guide were very nice.
Our trip started with going to Gotemba outlet first due to a change in the schedule. It was a blessing in disguise as we got to view and appreciate a "very shy" but beautiful Mt Fuji for about 1hr at Gotemba before clouds & visibility obscured her from being viewed. Also, we got to see the sulphur vents blowing steam at Hakone which was also special as it doesn't always happen. The all you can eat yakiniku lunch was a real treat too. So a very fun daytrip out of the city
The tour was great. The guide had a lot of knowledge of the areas and even sang songs for us on the way.
Would recommend this tour to anyone travelling in japan.
We went on the private Mt. Fuji pilgrimage tour. Our tour guide was Taiji Endo. We all had a good time and our our guide was great! Very informative and a safe driver. He also gave us a good restaurant recommendation for lunch. We would definitely recomment the tour and our tour guide as well.
Thank you very much for your comment. It was also great for me to attend your family. We've had a very nice day and I'm so happy that you enjoyed my plan. I hope you enjoyed the rest for your days in Japan. I wish I had more time to talk with you all and I really hope to see you again.
The tour is good. We have Aikko as our tour guide, and she was very pleasant and informative. The total experience was excellent. But the time to do things is limited. We had only 45 minutes to explore Mt. Fuji & less than an hour for lunch.
Overall the tour is good, the weather is good, the variety of traditional Japanese lunch is good. I will be going to Mount Fuji again in winter, hope we can spent more time there.
We were lucky to have seen Mt. Fuji without the clouds blocking it. It was gorgeous. We had Tomoko-san as our English speaking guide. She was very nice and accommodating. She even escorted us to the train station going back to the hotel. Overall the tour was really worth it.
The tour was great and Japanese lunch provided was yummy too! Special commendation to our guide, Nana-san! She was well-prepared and detailed. She brought samples of local produce to show us, and all her instructions for meeting locations were illustrated with drawings! She was very professional and made sure we know her guests knew their way back to their hotels after her tour. She came to each of us personally with handwritten instructions which JR line and train to board. We completely enjoyed ourselves!
Since we only had 5 days to explore Japan, we needed to plan our itinerary well. Thankfully, this tour brought us to many amazing places in just one day.
Although mostly cloudy during fall, we were able to sneak a great view of Mt. Fuji at the 5th station. The bus ride was also very smooth, and our tour guide Hiro was very helpful and informative. The tour is also great for elderly since not much walking/trekking is involved.
The only downside is the limited time to do things. We had only 30 minutes to explore Mt. Fuji & less than an hour for lunch.
But considering the locations we were able to visit in a day, I would say it was worth it. We arrived back in Tokyo around past 6 pm giving us enough time to enjoy dinner.f
Tour worth doing. The guide was very friendly and informative. The bullet train ride was a great way to finish the tour.
Great day. Had a great guide who gave us lots of interesting info on Japan and it's people on the way. Kept with us right to theto the end
We loved the tour. It was designed well and really enjoyed the view from 5th station. It was foggy but cleared up for a while to enjoy the view. I would definitely recommend the tour while in Tokyo. The pick up and drop off was great and lunch was great as well. Enjoyed !
It was great - the food, the guide, the trip, everything was really good.
So why not 5 stars you might ask? - well, there has to be room for improvement, the bus could be nicer (thats a queation of price i understand that), but why do i still need to print my confirmation, and why do i have to call to confirm when i have paid in full and so on. It's actually quite difficult to call, the number dont work from a mobile phone - du you think a tourist travel with a printer and land line....... off course most hotels offer that, but it's a hassle you can't do everything online, or through the app. But please understand that it is a very very small complaint - the trip was really really good, and the price was low.
Taiji is a great guide. He arrived on time and took us to Mt Fuji. He has the 'Mt Fuji luck' where every tour group he brings, the mountain view is clear. He speaks very good english and french too! My children loved him. This itinerary was fun and relaxing just the way we wanted.
The pleasure was all mine with such lovely kids on my van. I'm also glad that you parents did enjoy the meal. Thank god for this "Goen" that we had and hope to see you again, maybe in your country next time.
The meal was nice and a good variety of Japanese foods.
Great tour! Fuji was viewable and we were very lucky. Our 2 guides Michael and Xavier were knowledgeable, helpful, very positive people and we would definitely recommend them as our guides.
I suggest if you ask people to meet at the love statue, you should have one of the guides there, as it was a rainy day in the morning and we were standing there not clear if it was the meeting point. We saw a green bus nearby and went to investigate, and that was the actual meeting point, but if we would have continued being passive, we might have missed the bus.

Convenient and well organized tour to Mt. Fuji and Hakone from Tokyo.
Recommended for first timers!
all places and activities were interesting especially the ninja village. tour guide was nice and warm.
Thank you for joining our tour,
We are happy to hear that! We hope you have a lot of memories in Japan
Our guide's name is Tomoko who speaks perfect English. She educated us on Japanese culture, how to count in Japanese, and much, much more. You need to have more guides like her, as she is absolutely WONDERFUL.
We enjoyed the tour, flight simulator was very exciting and we managed to get a clear view of the mountain when the clouds cleared for a short time. Tour guides were very helpful and knowledgeable

Definitely go to this tour when it is a nice sunny day! We went when it was foggy and cloudy so we did not see Mount Fuji at all. The lunch menu isnt that great as the tour brings you to one hotel restaurant. Average price per meal was at least 12,000 YEN. I would suggest to eat at the first pit stop restaurant that is attached to the convenient store. Me and my BF had a ramen bowl that was pretty good for only 500 YEN! We also ate at another restaurant at the Mount Fuji pit stop. That ramen bowl was pretty descent as well! About 700 YEN. Also when the tour is over, I would highly suggest riding the bullet train back since it only takes about 30-40 minutes to get back to Tokyo compared to the bus ride that takes about 2 and half hours. Overall, the tour was okay and I was disappointed that we did not see Mount Fuji and this tour lasted 8+ hours.
