Tokyo
Even on a rainy day it was a good trip, as nobody is responsible for the weather! The guide (Yoko) was very optimistic and managed to keep us hopeful all along the journey. She accompanied us everywhere and gave good advice and explanations.
Unfortunately the meal was very basic and a disappointment for me. I had made the same trip some years ago and the choice of the restaurant and the lunch had been much better.
Convenient bus and Shinkansen tour to visit both Mt Fuji and Hakone in a day from Tokyo. Many people but worth it. Convenient pick up from hotel.
Excellent tour to visit both Mt Fuji and Hakone in the day from Tokyo. Convenient and fun. Easy pick up from hotel. Highly recommended!
Mike Otani, the tour guide, was warm, friendly and attentive. His personality added a unique flavor to the tour. That's for sure! The tour bus was comfortable, and you can safely leave your things on the bus as you explore the different sights. Regardless of the clouds covering Mt Fuji during our stop at Lake Kawaguchi, a variety of beautiful flowers and a taste of the delicious, locally made blueberry ice cream made up for the obscured view. We also enjoyed the little fruits and veggie store there and bought fresh plums and tomatoes. Oshino village was charming but very much crowded that it felt like a busy market. Lunch at the ninja-themed village was delicious and filling. The place would probably be more enjoyable for families with young kids that need to get their wiggles out after having to sit still on the bus for some time. Mt Fuji 5th station was amazing! The clouds parted just as we got there and granted a view of the summit. You can get away from the crowds by avoiding the shops and hiking some distance up the Yoshida Trail and taking in the breathtaking views. The 4D experience was awesome and exciting! You really feel as though you are flying over Fuji-san and will appreciate the scenery even more. Disappointing that the schedule was too tight to allow a visit to the “La ville de Gaspard et Lisa” in the adjoining section of the park. Wouldn’t have minded paying extra and going home a little late for that. We do feel the various stops were a bit rushed and would've enjoyed a more leisurely pace to allow us to linger a bit longer at certain places. There is just enough time to take pictures and buy food, produce or souvenirs. Perhaps if the tour were to start earlier, then we would be able to unhurriedly digest the activities. Overall, the tour was excellent and well worth it! Would recommend it again, especially to families with kids. Quality of service is great and we are thankful for the experience. Would easily book another tour with Japan Panoramic.

Enjoyed a delightful journey with our guide Marchiko. The itinerary, arrangements and transportation were just right. Marchiko gave us insights into the physical wonders of Japan, history lessons, and the beauty of Japanese culture. Would recommend it to all.
It was raining and traffic was bad during our visit. We did not see Mt. Fuji and we had to skip the cable car ride. I think we should have skipped the 5th station so we could've taken the cable instead. Although the food was delicious, I had hoped the food they prepared for us was Japanese and not Western food. Make sure to check the weather before booking this trip.
The tour was awesome. It was very well organized and we manage to see and do many things within a day. I would say that the cost of the tour is very cheap considering that there are alot of activities within it. The food was splendid and the tour guide was very helpful. Just love it !
Very much on time and tour guide was nice. Great experience and good experience
If you are a gambler go in summer as you have to be very lucky to see Mt Fuji because of mist and clouds. Our would not tell us how many days you could see Mt Fugi in summer she would not say but when one goes up the cable car the recorded message says you cannot see the mountain due to cloud! We were very lucky to see the peak for a few minutes from station 5. Our daughter went the week before and saw nothing. Best to go other times of year. Cable car ride was not very good as no view because of the cloud and the temple at the top was closed. Boat trip and lunch were both good. Advise catching train home as only 30-40 minutes compared to several hours that our daughter suffered on the coach because of bad traffic. Catching the bullet train was an experience in itself. Shima, our guide was good.
It was a great day's tour. Everyone was nice and friendly. It was an exciting adventure through the forest and cave.
I was so excited to visit the Mount Fuji, finally we arrived at the 5th station and the journey even if it is long it is quite enjoyable and worth it. The guide is well informed and organised, I have learned quite a lot of information about old japan and their history, and than when you see the Mount you really think is great you did it! And I was also lucky that there was not fog and the sky was clear, but the journey continued we had a very nice lake cruise and reached the Mt. Komagatake by riding an aerial cableway to view the Hakone National Park. To return back to Tokyo I have choosen the Shinkansen high-speed bullet train, which was fast and perfect to get back in not time.
Convenient 1 day trip to Hakone and Mt. Fuji. A lot of bus drive, but a lot of experiences.
It was our first trip to japan and I was traveling with my husband. We chose the mt fuji tour with lunch. The tour was excellent and enjoyable. Our tour guide Nana was friendly and helpful and she provided us with some interesting information about fuji.
Our meeting place was at the love statue at shinjuku in the early morning. We departed about 15 to 20minutes later than scheduled time as there were a few groups who were late. The journey to mt fuji took more than 2 hours as there were a bit of heavy jam along the highway and this was expected as it was a weekend. The scenic view was really beautiful during the journey.
We passed by lake kawaguchi first bfore stopping at Oshino Hakkai, the Oshino Eight Seas, our first stop. The lakes were beautiful and the water was clear with nice reflective images of its surroundings. We grabbed some small local bites which were delicious and we also bought their local corns which was sweet and juicy. After that, we proceeded to our next destination at the ninja village.
We had our ordered japanese local lunch which was delicious. After that we had a relaxing foot onsen before we ended up at the gift shop to buy some nice souvenirs.
After lunch we proceeded to mt fuji 5th station. It was a foggy day and we could only see fujisan on and off at times. Nevertheless the view of mt fuji was beautiful. We managed to get some really nice shots of mt fuji and also with our tour group.
The last stop was the Fuji Airways 4D attraction. It was a unique and memorable experience. We got to see mt fuji all four seasons and the views were breathtaking. This was the highlight of the whole tour. The feeling was surreal and experience was really awesome. It lasted for about 15mins. After that it was bus back to shinjuku. As the night was still early, our guide shared with us some interesting tips on nearby shops we can visit and what we can buy. Overall it was a really enjoyable trip.
I highly recommend this tour!

This day tour to Mt. Fuji and Hakone was quite an adventure as it
allowed us to see a different side of Japan. We were saddened that we
didn't get to see Mt. Fuji due to poor weather conditions. However, the
Shinkansen ride at the end of the day made up for it. Also, our tour
guide Mayumi made our long bus ride very fun and educational by bringing
along props to show us. We would recommend this tour to all our friends
and family.
Thank you for your warm message. We will share your message with the guide and our team members. We look forward to meeting you again in the near future. Best regards, JTB Sunrise tours (IZUMI)
We were able to see Mt Fugi and travel up to station 5! There was a stop along the way to use the restroom. Dinner was yummy at a beautiful hotel. We just wish it had been Japanese style food- not western- that is why we are IN Japan! We also wish there had been more time devoted at being at the mountain. It was very rushed and so very crowded. SO much time was spent waiting in lines.
Very nice tour , but its too short time in Mt Fuji ,, only 30 menit we can not do anything the guide always push us to be quick ...
The tour was well organized and on schedule. The tour guide was very pleasant and informative. The total experience was excellent.
Was a good trip although the overcast skies prohibited seeing the mountain. The caving portion was the highlight for us and we had a great guide for it. Definitely a full day as traffic coming back into Tokyo was heavy.
The tour was so organized from the hotel pick up and back. We enjoyed the buffet lunch (grill your own style) and the Gotemba outlet. The Mt. FUJI view was so spectacular during that day from the Mt. Hakone and the cruise along the lake asahi!
The whole experience was wonderful, we were staying at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel so it was easy as the main lobby was the pick up point for us, after the pick up we were taken in the coach to the main station where the bUs took us to the ride, although being a weekend the drive was slow due to traffic, we enjoyed with the guide Ann, who spoke excellent English, had a great sense of humour and kept the whole list interesting with insights about the places we would see along the way.
Each and every sight was worth it, a great way to see the place and enjoy the ride back on the bullet train which dropped as back to Shinagawa station straight away.
Highly recommended for any tourist to take this trip with them.
We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our tour and thank you for taking the time to write us a review.

Nice trip with very good guides. Got exactly what was promised with a wonderful view of mount Fugi .only thing is maybe a choice of 5th station instead of the rope way would be nicer. Shopping was good as was the lunch.unlike in most other countries it was so relaxing that the guides are not hinting about their tips, when we gave them. A little present not cash they were so surprised .
Great tour! Great tour guide and very happy that requested return by train! Saved about three hour of bus ride
The tour guide is very cheerful. She's got a lot of inputs about mt. Fuji and the towns we passed by. She taught us numbers from one to ten in japanese where you can get and absorb right away because of the way she presented it. she also taught us how to make mt fuji art made out of origami paper during the bus ride. The drivers were very good and very efficient even with the long and winding road. It doesn't make my kids dizzy. It was a great and fun experience.
It was very well organized tour, thanking to the guide Mrs. Hitomi.
We wish we could see the Fuji yama but it was so foggy, even though we enjoyed all activities.
My husband and I attended the Day tour to Mt. Fuji on Saturday. We were picked up near the LOVE statue in Shinjuku which is very convenient to everyone. Also audio was given to us which is on different languages through out the tour. Free wifi was on board and the tour guide were awesome including the driver. They were very helpful in everything. I will recommend this tour to my friends and I believed that it's worth the money.
Good job!

The tour guide (kamiko) took care of the whole tour bus group from the hotel to the bullet train. Pickup was right outside of our hotel and straight to mt. Fuji which was very clear that day! Then to hakone for a cruise on the lake and a cable car up to the too of that mountain to see mt fuji across the lake. Then we were dropped off at the bullet train station with ticket included. The whole day was carefree!
The tour package is ok and well organized. We enjoyed the pirate ship ride specially the Gotemba Outlet shopping. It is amazing to see the Mt. Fuji with its perfect shape.
We ordered the chicken set and i just wished they served it warm or at least the rice should be warm. Otherwise everything was wonderful. The facilitators were nice and friendly and really helpful.

Enjoyable tour, very helpful tour guide who did her best to make sure we got to every place! It was a clear day so we managed to see Mt Fuji (I understand this doesn't always happen). We couldn't go to eat the egg at the volcano because of the earthquake situation. But Hakone was beautiful! Definitely the highlight of my trip to Japan, and my parents enjoyed it too. I would highly recommend this day trip :)
