Reviewed by: ゆーたろ, 2015/05/034月11日、本日はタイ人の彼女と一緒に着物体験です。外は残念ながら小雨でしたが、着物体験会場はデパート内部。高級感ただよう店舗です。着物を着せてくれる先生は、英語も出来るため、外国人のお客様も多く見かけましたよ。僕の彼女も一切日本語が話せませんので、大変助かりました。
今回は、2人で着物体験をさせて頂きましたが、男性の僕でもすごく楽しめました。それ以上に、タイ人の彼女が喜んでくれたので最高です。外国人は、やっぱり日本の着物文化に興味があるようですね。ぜひ、海外からの友だちを連れていってあげて下さい。
着物は1日中（18時まで）借りることが出来るため、僕らは電車に乗って浅草へ。旅行者が僕らをずっと見ていて可笑しかったです。外国人からは、何度も「写真を一緒に撮らせて！」とお願いされました。何だか有名人になった気分。
その後は、東京スカイツリーや銀座、皇居などをぶらりと周って、思う存分着物を体験できた1日でした。特に外国人には絶対にオススメしたい大満足なツアーでした♪

Elegant Kimono Photo Shoot Experience in Tokyo
Professional Kimono Pictures and Experience
Reviewed by: Sharon, 2015/04/29I have always wanted to try a Kimono but never had a chance to, so definitely wanted to try this photo shoot when I came to Japan. The whole experience was so amazingly wonderful. The girls spoke English well and we were able to communicate. There were so many different gorgeous Kimonos to choose from. They help to make my hair and had an abundance of hair pins to choose from (There were so many different ones that I couldn't make my choice but was glad that I had their guidance.) The photo shoot was very friendly and fun. I definitely enjoyed my pictures afterwards and wanted all of them. Best of all, you finished your experience with sweets and macha tea in the end. What girl doesn't like ending with sweets right? This was definitely a fun experience and would recommend to anyone!

Elegant Kimono Photo Shoot Experience in Tokyo
Beautiful Kimonos and Incredible welcome
Reviewed by: Ffion, 2015/04/26As there were no reviews of this experience, I was not sure what to expect but as soon as our taxi pulled up at the address and there was a clear sign directing to us to the right floor, I was reassured!
We were greeted by two incredibly hospitable and welcoming Japanese ladies who were incredibly passionate about their business. It was honestly a priviledge to visit them in their studio. First there was the opportunity to choose a Kimono to my tastes and then they did my hair in a style fitting for the Kimono (you also get to choose matching hair accessories too) which was great. After this I touched up my make up and they began to put the Kimono on.
The main experience is then having your photos taken in the studio part along with some fun Japanese accessories. For this experience you have one printed photo included from the photo shoot and you can pay extra to take the digital prints away - which I did as it wasn't too expensive.
I can honestly say that the whole experience was fun and professional with the Japanese ladies making you feel totally at ease the whole time. My husband came along (but he didn't fancy dressing up!) and they made him feel very welcome too and let him take photos of me for free in the kimono outside of the studio too (which I thought was very generous).
After the photo shoot we were both served some delicious green tea and Japanese sweets which ended off the experience brilliantly. This was a totally worthwhile experience and in my opinion much better than walking around outside in a Kimono which I saw lots of tourists do! The quality of their kimonos is so much better and as they are more princess style, it feels incredibly luxurious to wear them. As the lift doors closed at the end of this experience we were left with the image of the two ladies bowing to us on our way out - I cannot rate them highly enough.
Overall a fantastic experience and I'm so glad I chose to do it!

Elegant Kimono Photo Shoot Experience in Tokyo
Wonderful Japanese Shoot
Reviewed by: Andy, 2015/04/26We signed up for the kimono experience plan because my wife loves Japan and has always wanted to try on a Kimono. The whole experience turned amazing. Despite being unfamiliar with the area, the studio was very, very easy to find located in the NW corner of JR Meguro. The studio itself was very inviting and personal. We were greeted by the girls who spoke English and were super friendly. They informed us on the schedule and details of our plan, so there were no surprises later. Once done, she provided me with a catalog with all the different traditional Japanese men’s wear to choose from. As I have never worn this before, I definitely needed the ladies to help me so that I didn’t wear the pants on backwards! We then proceeded to the studio where they took probably 15-20 photos. They had all sort of different props from me ranging from samurai swords to Japanese umbrellas which was fun. The shoot throughout was very engaging, where the photographer is constantly interacting with you. As I never have modeled for anything, she was very helpful in terms of telling me how to pose, where to put my arm, and where to look. At no point during the shoot did I feel uncomfortable or unnatural. Once done, they allowed you back to the dressing room, where you were actually allowed to use your own phone or camera to take a few pictures for yourself! Since I only purchased the basic package, I was able to choose only 1 pic. However, many of the photos really turned out well and getting extras weren’t so expensive so I picked up more. Even if I selected the whole package of the shoot, the cost was still fairly reasonable (5000 yen). Best of all, the girls are never pushy for you to buy any photos. All in all, this turned out to be a wonderful experience and probably was the highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend this for anyone coming to Japan and hoping for a Japanese experience with pictures to remember.

Wonderful Sumo Experience

We were lucky because it wasn't only a sumo practice that we experienced but also a tournament. Prior to that, we had a beautiful walking tour of the cherry blossoms along Chidorigafuchi park, a glimpse of the North Entrance of the Imperial Palace, and the Yasukuni shrine.
Also included in the sumo tournament experience was the bowl of soup/Chanko nabe which was delicious.

Elegant Kimono Photo Shoot Experience in Tokyo
Friendly ladies who will not only dress you up as a princess but also make you feel like a one!
Reviewed by: Nikki, 2015/04/15When I first booked this experience, I expected that (because kimono is quite an expensive thing) I will feel uncomfortable wearing it and taking pictures. As I come from the country where people providing services are not really that friendly I also expected formal atmosphere. But the reality was complete opposite! The three ladies working at the studio Wa were soooo friendly and created such a atmosphere, that I couldn´t help but laugh during the whole photoshooting. When we entered the studio, they already expected me and my friend and we received very warm welcome. Then they arranged our hairstyle very pretty so it will match with kimono and we got to choose the hair accessory on our own. Also we chose the kimono we wanted to take pictures in. Even though it took us quite a lot of time they waited patiently for us to decide. Then one of the ladies helped us with wearing kimono and the others prepared for the photoshooting. They took around 20 pictures of each of us (also with some props like a sword, flowers, an umbrella) . Then we took off the kimono and got to choose one picture to be printed out. Me and my friend were so satisfied with the pictures that we decided to pay for all of them to get them on CD. While we waited for the CDs, the ladies served us with original japanese matcha - green tea and sweets. For the whole time we were there, they were really friendly. The best hospitality! Even when we returned home and I had a problem displaying pictures on my computer, so I wrote to the studio and they replied within few hours and sent me pictures again.
Honestly, I can´t find anything to complain about. The whole studio is really cozy and close to the Meguro Station, and one lady can speak English very well. I will definitely recommend this place not only here but also to my friends. And I really wouldn´t mind taking my pictures in kimono there again :) They also have a facebook page so you can check some of the photos there.

Elegant Kimono Photo Shoot Experience in Tokyo
Very enjoyable experience
Reviewed by: Andy, 2015/04/11I participated in this activity in the beginning of April with my friend and it was a very enjoyable experience. The Kimono studio is a quite small business with a family atmosphere. There were no other customers at the time, which seemed to be the standard circumstances. The two of us had 3 women staff at our disposal, who took very good care of us. They brushed our hair, provided basic make-up products and dressed us in the kimono of our choosing, which would have been very complicated otherwise. There were about 7 types of kimono in different colours to choose from. If you want your choice to match you perfectly, ask them to show you the real kimono, because the photograph in the catalogue is quite misleading. The shooting itself took about fifteen minutes. You can tell it is not a professional shooting session, but the staff is very pleasant and they try hard to make it work. They also have some additional accessories such as umbrellas, flowers, fans and katanas. Every one of us got 20 photos and we could choose one to be printed out free of charge. If you want the digital version of the whole collection, you need to pay extra money and they burn it out for you on a cd. After the shooting we received a real matcha tea and some sweats. To sum up, this activity is definitely worth the money. It is a great experience!

着物の種類はとても豊富で、その場にいた他のお客さんとも和気あいあいと相談しながら決めました。着付けとヘアセットはひとり30分程度でとても手際よく着付けてくださいました。
着物を着てからは、浅草寺、スカイツリー、すみだ水族館、アンヂェラスでお茶と、浅草をたーくさん堪能してきました！
新鮮な気持ちで浅草を散歩できて楽しかったです。
英語、韓国語も対応可能だそうなので、外国のお友達を連れていっておもてなししてもいいかもしれません！
またお友達を誘って夏には浴衣で利用したいです！！

楽しませていただきました
Reviewed by: 会津娘, 2015/01/25お茶会は、もう何年振りだったでしょうか、学生時代の部活動以来でしたが、今回、お友達に誘われ参加しました。
渋谷から井の頭線で2つめ、駒場東大前の閑静な住宅地に和楽庵はありました。
綺麗に掃き清められ打ち水された広い玄関には、大きな花器に季節のお花が品よくいけられ、これから始まるお茶会へのドキドキと期待感をかきたててくれました。
玄関脇の木戸をすすむと、つくばいがあり手と口を清め、にじり口から、茶室に入り、いよいよお茶会です。
程よい緊張感の中、お作法を教わりながら上品な主菓子とお濃茶をいただき、中立ちの後、お干菓子と薄茶をいただきました。
皆でその空間を共有し、和敬静寂の世界を堪能しました。
日本の文化に触れたいなあと思う時、その一室の中で、お華も、書もお道具も、立ち居振舞いまでも体験できるのは素晴らしく思います。
ご亭主ご夫婦のお人柄でしょうか、気構えることなく、小堀遠州流の綺麗さびのお茶を楽しませていただきました。
学生時代にはわからなかった、おとなの遊びを体験した素敵な時間でした。

美術館級の茶碗でお茶をいただけました。
Reviewed by: Fancha, 2015/01/21 お茶席は初めてという友人と二人で伺いました。大寄せのお茶会には何回か行ったことがありますが、二人だけの席は初めて、若干緊張して席に臨みました。
お掃除の行き届いた露地を通って席に入るとお香の良い香り、床、炉、釜、棚、水指などを拝見して席に着くと、お点前が始まりました。甘いお菓子をいただいたあとの高麗のたっぷりとしたお茶碗でいただくお濃茶のおいしさは格別。床にかけられたお軸は先代の小堀宗通お家元の「本来無一物」。釜は遠州好みの糸目釜。棚は真塗りの袋棚、と説明を聞きながら、ゆっくりとお茶をいただき、お道具を拝見することができました。
いったん席を出て、薄茶になると、床には一輪の水仙。風炉先屏風、棚、水指もあらたまり、障子のすだれをはずして明るくなった席は、まるで雰囲気が変わっていました。いろいろなお道具や、お茶の歴史の話などをしているうちに時間も過ぎ、2時間を越えてしまいました。
お茶を二服いただく間に、すごく贅沢な楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。着物を着て伺ったのですが、お茶の席の雰囲気を一緒につくりあげて楽しむためには、とても良かったと思いました。
お茶会というと、開かれる日時が限られていますが、この企画では参加者の都合に合わせて時間が決められるので、とてもよいとおもいました。お祝いや法事などの席も用意していただけるとのことでしたので、自分なりの席をお願いできるかなと楽しみに思いました。
帰りにはお近くの日本民藝館によったのですが、何とそこに展示されている朝鮮の茶碗が、つい先ほどお濃茶をいただいたお茶碗とそっくり。なんだかうれしくなりました。この次には、お食事のついたコースを頼みましょうねと、お友達と話しながら帰り道をたどりました。

Elegant Tea Ceremony at Warakuan Teahouse in Tokyo
I enjoyed delightful tea
Reviewed by: Nyasha, 2015/01/16Though both of us were completely new to the tea ceremony, we decided to participate to learn the basics, just in case we are asked to join a formal event. This ceremony was held a 5 minute walk from Komabatodaimae Station. There was very much an “at-home style”, with that impression strengthened by the renovations that were ongoing.
After a short explanation of the activities, we were then taught the proper usage of the 'tsukubai', a stone wash basin, and the manner of entry into the tea house itself.
No matter the questions we asked, detailed and informative answers were very forthcoming. The differences between the 'koicha' and 'usucha', the tools of the tea ceremony, sweets, etiquette... After learning all of this, I feel that I'll never be embarrassed at a lack of knowledge at any other tea ceremony I join.
Both the tea and the sweets were delicious! From start to finish, we sat in a calm and dignified atmosphere.
That said, I can not recommend this tour if you want a very formal experience. Instead, this felt like a wonderful visit to the house of a friend. If are looking for a chance to learn about the basics of tea, this is highly recommended.
We were given a paper with tea ceremony terminology. If there was one thing more I could want from this, it would be a guide to the basics of the tea ceremony, including specialized vocabulary, that I could take home with me and read.
Also, the expected tour time was much shorter than what we spent there, as we enjoyed a fantastic conversation with the teacher and his wife. I was also able to take a commemorative photo, for which I'm grateful.
The decor of the tea house, draped in seasonal flowers and the tools of the ceremony, was a sign of high quality, I felt. If you think of this as just a chance to eat sweets and drink tea, the price seems quite high, but as a chance to study traditional culture, it is very reasonable.

Reviewed by: Fijikaru Mama, 2015/01/16While during my trips I had often tried simple 'matcha and a sweet'-types of tea ceremony, it never really gave me great satisfaction. When I found this activity (with Review Rebates too!) I booked it immediately.
The Warakuan tea house is on the Inokashira line, a 5~6 minute walk from Komabatodaimae Station, in a quiet residential area.
When they opened the door there was a wonderful smell of flowers, coming from a large vase. The tea master, his wife and daughter welcomed me with a cup of cherry blossom tea. We chatted, and I relaxed immediately.
At the sound of the bell I was led to the tea room, stopping at a little stone fountain to wash my hands (they even left a towel there for me). The garden is covered in beautiful moss, and the sound of water flowing takes you a world away from the residential area it is actually located in.
After entering the tea room, perfumed with incense, I got to see all the beautiful tea ceremony utensils. While explaining the utensils and ceremony, I was served a sweet and then the thick tea. The contrast of sweet and bitter was perfect. A true moment of bliss!
Next was the 'thin' tea. Since it was close to Christmas, the tea master selected cute snowman and snow inspired decor and sweets,which I thought was a nice touch. We chatted for a while, and it was a a truly a refined experience. The art of tea actually touches on ikebana, calligraphy, art and proper manners, I feel like I learned so much.
I am so glad to have taken part in this experience, thank you so much and please continue promoting this part of Japanese culture!
Just one thing: while I had a really wonderful experience, the price may be a bit scary for people less familiar with tea ceremony?

A trip into a different world
Reviewed by: TakeTake, 2015/01/16Less than 10 minutes from Shibuya station, we entered a totally different world.
The garden was more compact than I expected, but the lovely moss made for a perfectly Japanese atmosphere. The tea master, who likes to collect antiques, kindly explained about all the various tools used in the tea ceremony. Although I was unfamiliar with them, it was really interesting. A lot of my preconceptions about the specifics of the tea ceremony, like using monotone utensils or the degree of the strict manners, proved to be wrong. It was cool to learn more about this world.
I took part in the Review Rebate campaign, and was a little worried about what exactly what the 'thin' tea would be. Once there, the master explained the difference, and I excited to try them both.
The 'thick' tea took me aback at first, because it looked like the deep green of a still pond! I was a bit hesitant, but after the first sip was pleasantly surprised. The tea was not at all overly strong or bitter, in fact it has a sweet aftertaste.
While it may be a bit pricey, this kind of experience was truly authentic and one of a kind.

旅先でちょっと飲み”お菓子とお茶”には日頃より満足感なく、東京観光オプショナルツアーサイトを見つけ おやっ？コレだーすぐ飛びつき予約を、しかも割引き即参加！
和楽庵は井の頭線 駒場駅から歩いて5〜6分 都心と思えない閑静な住宅の中にありました。
ドアを開けると気持ちよい香りがし 大きな花器に生けられた花々が”ようこそ”と歓迎、そこへ ご主人、奥様、お嬢さまが優しくお出迎え、お部屋へ案内され、さくら茶を頂きながら、和やかに談笑(緊張がほぐれ) やがて 鐘の鳴る音に導かれ 枝折り戸を抜けると水打ちされた飛び石を踏みながら、丹精込めて育てたのでしょう、青々とした苔が生き生きと 路地を曲がるとつくばいの筧の水音が聞こえそこにはタオルが用意され(気遣いが嬉しい) 茶室に入ると気分も高まり 床の間のお軸、香合さらに進みお水指、茶入れ、湯のたぎった釜…拝見して席に着く 主菓子が運ばれ お手前が始まり ご主人の丁寧で分かり易い茶道具の説明を受けながら お手前は進みます 眺めて美しい 食べて美味しい主菓子を頂いた後の濃茶は格別にほろ苦く、甘くのどごしに優しく…本当に至福の一時！
離席して 再び茶席へ 薄茶です！可愛らしいクリスマスにちなんだ雪だるま、雪の結晶、雪のコンペイトウ達が 黒塗の盆にちりばめたお菓子が運ばれ、ご主人のユニークな計らいに拍手！お話も弾み和み ほんのり泡の立ったお茶(まろやかで甘く飲みやすい)を頂き素敵で優雅な空間を満喫しました。
岡倉天心の”茶の本”によると日本の文化の源はお茶にありと聞きましたが この体験によって茶道、華道、書道、絵画、礼儀作法 などなど全てがここから が少し分かった様な気がしました。
この様な企画に参加出来てよかったです！ ありがとう！日本の文化向上に乾杯！！

今回のプランは今までにない大変良い企画だと思います。が 体験としてはちょっと高額かな？参加に勇気がいります。若い人達や外国の人達にも参加が受け入れられて頂くには考え直した方が良いかと思われます。例えば、高級中級低級コースをなるべく低い価格に抑え、トッピングコースを作り選んでもらう様にしたら如何でしょうか？ 非常に良い企画なので応援しています。頑張ってくださいネ！！ごきげんよう・・・！
本当にお忙しい中、丁寧な体験談をお寄せいただきありがとうございます。「日本文化の源はお茶にあり」ということが、和楽庵の席で感じていただけたなら、これに越す喜びはありません。道具を準備するときにも、そのことは常に念頭にあります。信長、秀吉、利休といった人々が活躍した戦国の世に作り上げられてきたお茶が、今ほど必要なときは無いと痛感しています。つい先日も、フランスでテロがあり、多くの人が亡くなりました。人々が争うことが多く報じられる今日この頃、「和敬清寂」を理想とするお茶が多くの人々の心の中に広がれば、もっとすみよい世界になるのではないでしょうか？なんだか勝手なことを申し上げましたが、そんな気持ちで、席をつくっております。ところで、お値段のことにつき、皆さんからちょっと高いのでは？とのご指摘をいただいております。お茶とお菓子で5千円は高すぎると言われると、確かに高いなと思います。でも、和楽庵の席は、ただ飲んで食べるだけの席にはしたくないと考え、作りました。席に入ってからお茶を飲み、出るまでの時間。この時間を十分にお楽しみいただきたいと念願しております。そのために、道具も、できる限りよいものを選び、お茶、お菓子もおいしいものを用意いたします。点前もおもてなしのこころをこめて、しっかりとさせていただきます。お茶席の用意は、数日前から取り掛かります。そんなこんなで、いわば席主の時給も含まれていると言いましょうか、・・・とはいいながら、やはり少し検討はしたいと思います。とりあえず、5名様以上お出でいただける方は20％Offとさせていただきます。値段に負けない席をつくりあげていくつもりでおりますので、今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。入学祝や、成人式などのお祝いの席、法事、記念日など、いろいろな形でご利用いただけるようにいたしますので、ぜひまたお出でください。

Reviewed by: くもじい, 2015/01/04江戸が舞台の小説を読んでいたらどうしても着物を着て下町の街を歩いてみたくなりこちらを予約してみました。
スタジオには海外のお客さんも沢山来ており、台湾とタイの方もいました。
そこまで広くないスタジオですが、十分に選べるだけの着物があり、逆に迷って決められないくらい。髪飾りも帯も、ぱぱっと決められるようスタジオの方がいい具合にアドバイスをくれます。
着付けはスピーディですがしっかりとしてました。歩いていても苦しくないほどよい締め具合、ヘアセットも簡単ですがかわいく編み込んでくれました。
今回は思い切って写真撮影のオプションを付けました。スタジオから浅草寺へ歩いて撮影開始。カメラマンさんだけど、浅草について沢山お話をしてくれてまるでガイドさんみたいな方でした。袴姿にやや緊張気味の夫と、着物でちょっと恥ずかしい私でしたが、お陰で楽しいおしゃべりに和んだ雰囲気で撮影できましたよ。
ちょうどお正月の飾りがあり年末年始の独特な雰囲気の浅草。江戸の時代にもこんな夫婦がいたのかな、なんて思いにふけりながら、1時間ほどの撮影を楽しみました。
写真撮影なしでも、着物レンタルにヘアセットもついて、夕方まで着て過ごせてこの値段はお得だと思います。男性の着物ももっと種類があると嬉しいですね。

Dynamic Traditional Taiko Japanese Drumming Lesson in Tokyo
An awesome 'non-tourist' thing to do in Tokyo
Reviewed by: zyzzyfix, 2015/01/03I was determined not to do typical 'touristy' things on our first family visit to Tokyo and this was perfect. Our instructor was great! despite our being a half hour late because we got lost and couldn't work out the directions. (Tip: leave plenty of time to get here. And the building the studio is in does show up on Apple maps but it is down a flight of steps in the basement.) The two hours were well spent and we all really, really enjoyed it. It was a music lesson and a work out. We gained a better appreciation for how difficult Japanese drumming is but it was an absolute blast doing it. Definitely recommended. A highlight for us.

本格お茶体験 格式高い武家茶道でお茶をいただく ＜目黒区／駒場東大前駅から徒歩4分＞
至近距離の異空間
Reviewed by: たけたけ, 2015/01/01渋谷駅から電車と歩きを入れても10分と掛からない距離に、日常とは全く違う世界がありました。
庭は想像していたよりずっとこじんまりしていましたが、苔が美しく和の雰囲気をとても強く感じる事ができました。茶室では骨董品収集が趣味だというご主人が道具について丁寧に説明してくれたため、知識がなくても興味を持って時間を過ごせました。特に小堀遠州好みと言われる道具類は、“モノトーンで渋い”と言う私のお茶に対する先入観を覆すもので、とても新鮮でした。また、茶道には多くの流儀がある事にも驚きました。
今回モニター募集があったのは「濃茶＋薄茶」だったので、濃茶って？？と心配しながら参加しました。現地で茶道では元来濃茶と薄茶がありメインは濃茶だとの説明を受け、心配は期待に変わりました。ところが出てきたお茶は溜池を想わせるような濃い緑色でドロッとしたもの。ちょっと躊躇したものの、覚悟を決めてえいっと飲んでみるとびっくり。渋いとか苦いとかほとんど感じず、むしろ後味に甘みを感じるほどでした。
ちょっと値段が高いと思いましたが、なかなか経験できない“本格的”な体験ができたと思っています。
さっそくのモニター投稿ありがとうございます。まだまだいたらないことも多く、季節ごとの道具など、いざ席をと思うと、あれも足りない、これもほしいということも多くあります。様々な季節をお楽しみいただくため、これからも充実させていきたいと思っております。釣釜や風炉釜の季節など、まったく雰囲気が変わりますので、ぜひまたお出でください。お待ちしております。後、値段につきましては、いろいろと検討いたしました。お茶、お菓子、花、炭など、グレードを下げてとも考えましたがやはり良いものをと思い、この値段にいたしました。そのさい、大寄せのお茶会とほぼ同じくらいになれば、とも考えました。値段に負けない充実した席を心がけますので、なにとぞよろしくお願いいたします。

本格お茶体験 格式高い武家茶道でお茶をいただく ＜目黒区／駒場東大前駅から徒歩4分＞
美味しいお茶をいただきました
Reviewed by: ニャッシャー, 2014/12/28参加者２人ともお茶席に関しては素人ですので、万が一突然茶会にお呼ばれしてもあわてないようにとの心がけて参加しました。場所は、駒場東大前駅から徒歩５分もあれば到着します。ご自宅の一部を改築したお茶室で、アットホームな雰囲気でのお茶体験です。
事前に別室で簡単な説明を受けた後、つくばいの使用法や茶室へのあがり方から学習します。本来であれば懐紙や袱紗などを持っていくのがお茶席のマナーでしょうが、これらの道具は用意していただいたので、手ぶらで大丈夫でした。
何しろ分からないことだらけでしたが、いろいろな質問をしても、そのつど丁寧に答えていただき、非常に勉強になりました。濃茶と薄茶の違い、茶道具、お菓子、マナーなど・・・
実は過去に旅行先でお茶席に参加して自身の無知を恥じたのですが、これからは突然のお茶席でも慌てずに参加できそうです。
お茶もお菓子もとても美味しかった！終始和やかな雰囲気でした。
知人のお宅を訪問したような雰囲気の茶室ですので、緊張感漂うかしこまった席を期待する方にはおすすめできません。しかし、私のように「とりあえずお茶席の基本的なことを知っておきたい」という人にはおすすめできます。
お茶の心得として、小堀遠州のお言葉を書いた用紙をいただきました。欲を言えばお茶の基本的な言葉（「正客」という言葉は初めて聞きました）などを解説した用紙を一緒にいただけると、家に帰ってから復習することも出来るので、より良いかと思います。
予定時間を超えて、先生と奥様とたくさんのお話をし、楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。茶室で記念写真まで撮っていただき、どうもありがとうございました。
床の間に飾ってある季節感あふれるお花から道具にいたるまで、上質のものを使用されているように思いました。「お菓子を食べてお茶を飲む」という一面で捉えると正直割高な印象ですが、「文化を学ばせていただく」という点では正規価格でも妥当だと言えます。
さっそくの投稿ありがとうございます。長い時間、お疲れになったのではと心配いたしました。私どもも、お二人との時間を楽しく過ごさせていただきました。お茶席は、季節によってまったく表情の違う席になります。四月は吊り釜、五月からは風炉釜となり炉とはまったく雰囲気が変わります。ぜひ季節ごとの変化をお楽しみください。またのお出でをお待ちしております。

恒例！年末の着物Day 浅草満喫しました。
Reviewed by: ライチョウ, 2014/12/22毎年、12月末に着物を着て楽しんでいます。今年も金さんのサクラフォトスタジオを利用しました。相変わらずの迅速な着付けタイム！2人参加でしたが、着付けの所要時間はあわせて約30分程、2名で対応していただけるのであっという間です。着物の種類も色、柄ともに品揃えが多く、昨年よりも充実していました。ちょっと地味目の色の着物に、派手めの帯、アクセントにはピンクであわせていただきました。10:30にスタジオに入り、11:00から自由行動スタートです。
まずは、まぐろが安くて美味しいお鮨やさんで腹ごしらえ、その後、昭和21年開業の老舗喫茶店アンヂェラスでレトロな雰囲気とダッチコーヒー(水出しアイスコーヒー)を味わい最後は、浅草演芸ホールで寄席を楽しみました。浅草演芸ホールの昼の部は終了が午後4時10分、最後まで聞いてからスタジオに戻れば着物の返却時間の17時には余裕で間に合います。
着物を着る機会が普段ではめったにありませんが、気分転換にもなってなかなかいいものです。このサービスなら自分で着物を買う必要もなく、色々なパターンのものが楽しめるので仲良しの友達を誘って、着物浅草女子会なんてやってみてもいいなと思います。

There was a giant variety in kimonos, especially considering my friend was 5'5" and I'm 5'11. The service was prompt and excellent, and we had a lot of fun and lovely reactions when we walked around the Asakusa Shrine nearby. I'd definitely recommend this experience to anyone, it was the best thing I did in my time in Japan and well worth the money.

We arrived at our scheduled appointment and was immediately greeted by a very friendly staff and they showed us a few choices of kimonos to choose from. Once we chose our kimonos my girlfriend and I were greeted down stairs by a rickshaw that gave us a very nice tour and dropped us off close to Seisouji where we walked around and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon receiving many random compliments from strangers. It was a very fun experience and I highly suggest it to anyone looking for a fun afternoon in Asakusa. The staff spoke and understood very good English so communicating was never a problem. :)

First of all, the studio is conveniently located, only 1-3 minutes from Kaminari-mon on foot. As it’s a rented room in a building, it was hard to find it. When we went inside, Kyonming spoke to use politely. The studio is small, but Kyongming made us really cute. We wore elegant kimonos with Nagoya obis. I recommend the Nagoya obi highly.
They arranged my hair simply and put 3 hair accessories on my hair! After putting Kimono on, it's time for a photo shoot! I was so excited about getting photographed and making many poses in Asakusa! Please have a look at pictures I attached! We had free time until 5 so had a stroll in Asakusa. However, tourists looked at us, they wanted take our pictures like paparazzi, so we were in many pictures with people from many countries for their souvenirs.
It was the best experience ever. I would love to do it with my friends again! You should try it at least once, as it is a rare opportunity to take pictures of you wearing Kimono at this price!

Nice experienced and enjoyable
Reviewed by: Oradee, 2014/09/21My husband and I arrived an hour late due to our mistake with trains. Despite this we received a warm welcome from Sakura-san. She was welcoming to both of us. She let me choose the Kimono and dressed me. She chose the flowers and shoes to match with the Kimono. I brought a paper fan but rented an umbrella as it was a hot day. Sakura San also gave me a 5% off voucher for rickshaw but I did not use it. I received compliments from many Japanese woman and also a lot of attention from tourists. I was asked by a western tourist if he could take my photo. I was very pleased with her service as I would recommend it to any lady to when in Tokyo. Asakusa is an appropriate location.
