The spacious van was perfect for our group of four, providing a smooth transfer from Cancun Airport to our hotel in Playa del Carmen, which was very helpful. I quickly found the representative waiting just outside the exit of Cancun Airport. As I had been informed beforehand, they were wearing a distinctive yellow and white vertically striped outfit, making them easy to spot. They held a list of multiple groups, and once I provided my name, they promptly matched it and instructed me to wait for the driver. It seems the meeting representative and the driver are separate.

I waited about 5 to 10 minutes for the driver to arrive. The representative informed me that there was traffic on the road, so I didn't feel anxious at all. I think it would have been best if the driver had a bit more time to avoid any waiting, but this is a cheerful Latin country, so it's best not to worry about the little things.

Both the representative and the driver were fluent in English, making communication very smooth as long as you can speak English. The driver was very cheerful and friendly, embodying the spirit of a Latin country, which was amusing. When he approached, he had a rhythmic sway to his body as if he were dancing, which I personally found endearing. Some people from Japan might think, "Uh-oh, a suspicious guy is coming closer..." but again, this is a lively Latin country. If you can enjoy that, then it's all good.

ドライバーがお迎えに来るまで、5～10分程度待ちました。道路が渋滞しているようで、その旨、待ち合わせ担当者が教えてくれたので、不安は特になかったです。ドライバーがもう少し時間に余裕を持っていただいて待ち時間なくドライバーとコンタクト出来ればベストだったとは思いますが、そこは陽気なラテンの国、（日本人的な？）細かなことは気にしないことです。
待ち合わせ担当者も、ドライバーも英語が堪能で、英語さえ使えればコミュニケーションは非常にスムーズです。また、ドライバーが、ラテン国家のメキシコらしく、非常に陽気でフレンドリーな方で面白かったです。コンタクトした際も、何かこう、体を左右にリズミカルに揺らしながら踊るような風体で近づいてきたのが、個人的に微笑ましかったですね。日本の人によっては、「うっ、何か怪しいお兄さんが近づいてくるよ・・」と警戒するかも知れませんが、再度、ここはラテンのノリの陽気な国ですからね。それも含めて、楽しめるならグッドだと思います。

For the departure, I was able to smoothly find the staff at the airport and got on the shuttle bus in about five minutes, making for a comfortable trip to the hotel.

However, for the return, I waited for an hour, but the shuttle bus did not arrive. I asked the hotel staff to call all the contact numbers listed on the voucher multiple times, but no one answered. The hotel staff also sighed in frustration. With my flight time approaching, I ultimately had to ask the hotel to call a taxi to get to the airport.

Later, when I contacted Veltra, they responded politely and issued a refund, but there was no explanation from the shuttle bus company as to why they did not come. I have no complaints about Veltra's service, but the shuttle bus company left an impression of being untrustworthy.

The hotel picked us up right on time, and after picking up another group, we were smoothly taken to the airport. It was stress-free and very comfortable. The driver also wore a mask the entire time, which made us feel safe.

After arriving at the airport, it was quite a challenge to find my guide among the many guides, but I managed to meet up with them. We were able to move smoothly to the hotel without having to wait for a private van. On the return trip, the pick-up from the hotel was on time, and there were no particular issues.

First of all, when you exit the airport, there are many shuttle service staff from various taxi and tour companies, making it quite challenging to find the right one. The T-shirt that was supposed to be a landmark was different from what I expected, and I couldn't find it on my own. I ended up being taken by an official airport taxi staff member who called out to me. I wouldn't recommend just following anyone, but this time I followed cautiously, and I did arrive at the right place. It's always better to be cautious, so keep your guard up.

Once I reached the staff, I had to wait at least 20 minutes for other passengers to join. When taking a local taxi, I recommend paying in local currency to avoid being overcharged. (This isn't directly related to the service, but please consider it as helpful information for your trip.)

However, the pickup time had changed at the last minute from what I had confirmed before the trip, so I think it would be wise to double-check the time again the day before departure, just in case. Even though they said there was a change, it was only about a 10-minute difference.

Since my flight was at 8:30 AM, I booked a private hotel-to-airport transfer. The pickup was at 5:20 AM, so I checked out at 5:10 AM, and the driver was already waiting in the hotel lobby. Thanks to that, I was able to arrive at the airport earlier than I had expected. (It's recommended to arrive early at the airport as the security check can get crowded.)

Since everyone on the bus was heading to catch a flight, it was relatively reassuring to be with others on a similar schedule. When asked about the terminal, I couldn't remember, but I was told that international flights only operate from Terminal 4, and when we arrived, it turned out to be true. I think it's a good idea for those who are worried to check in advance, but since the driver is familiar with the route, I don't think there will be any particular issues.

As soon as I stepped outside the airport, I felt relieved to see someone waiting with a sign that had my name on it. From there, we walked to the bus stop, but it wasn't a very large airport, so it wasn't a problem. We waited a little for the charter bus to arrive (I remember it being about 15 minutes), but since we also had to deal with a crowded immigration process and couldn't get outside right away, it was within an acceptable range.

I'm grateful to the staff who assisted us in English, despite it not being their first language. The driver was speeding a bit, but he was skilled at driving, so I didn't feel particularly anxious. I'm not sure if it was because I had seen negative reviews beforehand or if we just happened to receive good service, but everything was perfectly fine! Thank you very much!

第一言語が英語ではないにも関わらず、英語で対応してくださるスタッフの方々に、感謝です。
運転手さんは、スピードを出されていましたが、運転が上手だったので、特に不安を感じませんでした。
先にネガティブな意見を見ていたおかげか、たまたま私たちが対応を良くしてもらったのか分かりませんが、全く問題ないサービスでした！！

I used a shuttle service from Cancun Airport to my hotel. After arriving at the designated parking area at the airport, I waited for about 30 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. It was very difficult to wait that long with a 2-year-old and a 0-year-old. I didn't expect to wait so long, especially since I requested a private vehicle. Honestly, I think it would have been better to take a taxi if I had to wait that long. I will probably use a taxi next time.

The driver did a good job of introducing various landmarks along the way from the airport to the hotel, including downtown, shopping malls, and the Cancun monument. I appreciated that aspect.

運転手の方は空港出てから宿泊ホテルまでの間、ダウンタウンやショッピングモール、CANCUNのモニュメント等いろいろな名所を紹介してくれました。その点は良かったと思います。

I think it's a sufficient plan as long as you don't expect too much from the pick-up service. There was a person holding a sign right outside the airport. They will explain where to find the shuttle, but they won't accompany you. Be careful not to miss anything as they speak in English with a Spanish accent.
