Overall the sunset cruise was a good experience. Really awesome staff. Open bar was pretty fun and they always try to keep your drink full. Food was average and was still a little hungry after. Breath taking sunset though. It was also a sand dock so we had to walk through the water to get on the boat. That was not advertised. Wading in water up to knees. Older folks might struggle. My client was also in slacks which was not ideal if we knew that going in but I as ok.
Walking through the water wasn’t bad if you knew that it was coming It would have been great to be advised to dress in shorts and flip-flops.

A super fun carefree way to enjoy some drinks on a boat in Hawaii with friends and family! We travel to Kona every other year. We discovered the dinner cruise the last time we went and loved it so we definitely booked it again last week. This year was even better. The crew were ready to help anyone needing help. We were waited on and spoiled. The food was tasty. The historian did a great job as did the music entertainment. We took the cruise at the end of March which should have been too late to view a whale. One popped up right beside the boat. The captain steered the boat to try to follow the whale so we could get another view. It started raining later and once again the captain did what he could to take us out away from the rain. We will definitely do this the next time we return to Hawaii.

Had such a great time on this cruise! It was such a good deal for the price. The boat isn’t huge, but once you get out on the water, you’re standing around the edge looking out at the gorgeous views anyways. Staff was very accommodating and funny, made the experience so much better. The drinks were great and we even got a 4th one as well as a little longer of a cruise as we took our time to head back to shore to see the sun set. Would recommend for anyone looking for a fun little booze cruise!

Ocean and views of the island are great but that is not Manu Kai’s contribution.
We’ve done 10 sail trips in various Hawaiian islands- this was the worst of all.
It is cheap compared to others so if you’re after outstanding views for least money this trip will do the job.

Just did the Snorkel and Sunset dinner cruise. I would definitely do this again. The. Staff was absolutely awesome and very very patient. I sometime feel very constrained with all the rules but the staff did a very good job explaining why they have to do what they do to keep all of us safe and still have the best time. The music was great, the food was wonderful. And everybody on the boat seemed to have a good time. Oh and the sunset on the water was epic. I highly recommend this to all!

Super nice guys who manned this sunset sail. The price to do this was very reasonable and the VIEWS of Diamond Head and the Waikiki skyline at sunset were priceless. We even had a whale sighting-SO COOL!!! Would do this again a million times.
