Terrific experience, fantastic crew!

Captain Ryan and his first mate were awesome, and we will definitely go again and can absolutely recommend this experience to others.

Best experience of my life!
投稿者: Natasha, 2021/08/29This was an awesome experience! I saw so many turtles, which was my only goal in Hawaii. I also saw dolphins in a distance. The guys on the boat were awesome! One of the divers dove down with my camera and took pictures for me of the turtles up close with a respectful distance.
I, sadly, also got seasick on the boat. I had no idea I would get that sick. The hosts were so helpful without making me feel embarrassed. They kept checking on me, bringing me water and lavender oil which helped a lot for the sickness.
I also loved that they were respectful of the turtles as you will get fined if you touch a turtle in Hawaii. They made us keep our distance from the turtles which I really respect and love about Hawaiin culture. They actually care about the Earth and animals.

Great day on the water!
投稿者: Angela , 2021/08/22Saw lots of turtles and fish! Boat was clean, safe and well staffed. Bring a hat and lots of sunscreen. Crew of 5 and it was easy to get equipment on and ready. Our group had about 33 which was a lot - made for close quarters at times and a line at the stairs. Crew was quiet and all business … they were likely sick of tourists at this point. Beautiful pictures and scenery. Really nice catamaran.

Tour time was cancelled but they found us an even better alternative.
投稿者: Glenda , 2021/08/06I booked this snorkeling tour for our group of 21 months in advance. A couple days before our trip a representative of Hawaii Activities contacted me to let me know the time we booked was no longer an option offered by the company. They rebooked us with a different company for the same day, at an earlier time, without drinks :(, for the same price even though the Moana company charged more than the one we originally booked. I appreciate this so much because as we were boarding, we saw a disappointed family at another dock who had their trip canceled with not even a notification. The boat just never showed up and when they called the company they were told they had to cancel due to COVID. Things happen but a notice would have been nice. Luckily for us Hawaiian Activities/Veltra not only notified us, but made alternative arrangements for us. I would definitely use this company for bookings in the future.

Great Crew
投稿者: Caren Wise, 2021/07/24We really enjoyed our snorkeling trip with Holokai Catamaran. The crew was very attentive, funny and friendly. They made a point to make sure we saw turtles while we were in the water, and they periodically asked if we were doing ok or needed help with anything throughout the cruise. Any cautionary instructions that they gave us were very warm and polite, not bossy or curt which was especially nice for the kids on our trip.
The snorkeling itself was a little disappointing, but it had nothing to do with Holokai. We just happened to go at a time of year that was really busy. There were several other tour boats snorkeling in the same spot, so the water was crowded. It was a little stressful navigating around other snorkelers and trying to avoid getting a flipper in your face. But again the Holokai crew was in the water with us doing their best to make sure we were seeing turtles and fish.
After snorkeling, the crew let us jump off the boat and swim freely in the water. After that they put up the sails and took us for a super fun ride out past Diamond Head. That was definitely our kids’ favorite part of the experience.
Thank you to Holokai for making the this excursion fun and exciting for our families.

Barely saw 1 turtle
投稿者: Alex , 2021/05/12Boat was very nice, friendly staff, but we stopped at 1 site for a while and didn’t see any turtles, then when we got to the more popular spot there were already 4 more boats and we only got to see 1 turtle. The staff didn’t come in the water with us either to help spotting turtles. Other boats had at least 1 crew in the water to guide their group towards the right spot.

It was okay, the crew was great.

We have not received the refund yet but that also falls on me because I have not followed up. Our snorkeling date was March 16, I am writing this April 10th.

Up close and personal with sea turtles
投稿者: Stan Flouride , 2020/03/16This well-run tour took us to a place known as Turtle Canyon a few hundred meters off of Waikiki where sea turtles come to get cleaned by algae eating fish.
There were a couple of dozen of varying ages (judging by their sizes) and though touching is prohibited, it was easy to get close enough that you could have.
Sharp, amusing crew, well maintained and clean masks, snorkels, and fins provided, and cold local beer.
A great combination.

100%カメと出逢える！日本語OKで安心。
投稿者: kky, 2020/03/16テレビ番組（さまーずりぞーと）で紹介されており、とても楽しそうだったので申し込みました。
テレビで見た通り、とっても楽しく、本当にカメと泳げる素敵な体験ができました。
スタッフの方のノリが良く、とても楽しかったです。
日本語が上手なスタッフもおり、安心でした。
カメと泳ぐ時間は十分すぎるくらい十分！
カメと泳ぐ以外に、滑り台やトランポリンなどあり、アトラクションも沢山です。
寒くて船にあがると、暖かいお茶やココアをくれたり、本当に親切にしてくださいました。
写真も沢山撮ってくださりました。（有料40ドル）
更に、ラッキーなことにクジラも見れて良かったです。
少しだけ残念だったのは、2点。
・ライフジャケットを着用するように指示があったのに、外国人の方は着用せずに潜っていました。
ライフジャケットがあることで、カメと泳ぐショットは撮ってもらえず…
（浮いてしまうので、海のなかを泳げず…）
写真を撮ってくれる方に、カメの前で「潜って！」と何度も言われましたが、ライフジャケットがあると潜れない…
ライフジャケットの着用がないと不安ですが、カメと泳いでいるショットが撮れなかったのは残念。。
・ランチ付きとありましたが、スパムむすび１つでした。
ハワイでの食事も楽しみにしていたので、むすびはなしで、早めに帰港して
ランチの時間を確保したかった…！
また、船酔いしている人にとっては、スパムむすびは重いので、なくてもいいかな…
全体的に時間は十分あったので、30分くらい短くして12時過ぎに終わると嬉しいです。
少し辛口コメントにはなりましたが、全般的にはスタッフの方が親切で楽しい時間でした♪
またハワイに行く際には、系列のイルカ中学などで他の体験もしたいです。

目の前にカメ！カメ！カメ！
投稿者: RANDS, 2020/03/14最高の体験でした。はじめてのハワイで色々なオプショナルツアーを詰め込んでいましたが、もう一度行きたいと思ったアクティビティほなんといってもこれですね。
内容は他の方が詳しく書いていらっしゃるとおりですが、ひとつ注意しておくべきはポイントへ到着するとすぐさま海に入ることになります。若い人は大丈夫なんでしょうが、そこそこの年齢の私たちのような方はあらかじめ体をほぐしておきましょう。私は海の中で足がつりそうになりました。笑

So much fun!
投稿者: Andres, 2020/02/20It was great! Got to see 8 sea turtles and a lot of fish. After snorkeling, they did a couple of laps around which was really relaxing and even got to see a whale (although I´m sure it might not be that common to see a whale).
The only down side was that it´s in Waikiki so there were several other tours in the same area so it was a bit crowded.

Great adventure
投稿者: Laura L. , 2020/02/19It was a great day filled with great adventure. I saw a bunch of turtles and even Had a few swim a little closer than the 2 meters we were told to give them. The crew was fantastic. They were always checking on us on the boat and were always with in sight in the water.
The only thing I didn’t like was the 42 people (plus the 4 crew members) on board. It felt crowded even when were spread out on the nets and side (hard to move around to and from the bar.) capping the max to 35 guests (plus 4 crew) would have made it an outstanding day.

たくさんウミガメを見ることができました！
投稿者: 旅行大好き, 2020/02/16たくさんウミガメを見ることができました！スタッフのみなさんもとても親切で楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。スノーケリングスポットまでの往復の時間も盛り上げてくださっていました。同じツアーを利用している人の中に小さい子ども連れの方がいらっしゃっていたのですが、スノーケリング中もスタッフの方がつきっきりで見ていて素晴らしいホスピタリティだと思いました(ツアーの人数が少なめだったからかもしれませんが)。機会があればまた違うツアーを利用してみたいと思います。
ワイキキの波は意外と高いので、酔い止めは飲んでおくことをおすすめします。

初めてのスキューバダイビング！！

凄い楽しみにしていましたが、悪天候で翌日に延期に。天候に恵まれず。。残念！
翌日、イルカウミガメのツアーに参加しました。事前に酔い止めを服用しましたが、大正解！何人か酔って気持ち悪そうにしている人を横目に、最後まで楽しめました。
ガイドの方が明るくて、色々説明してくれました。イルカの大群が目の前や横や下を何回も通って、大当たりの日でした。
ウミガメも見れたし、餌をまくので、綺麗な魚の大群が目の前に。さらにクジラの赤ちゃんも見れて、本当に運の良い日でした。次もイルカウミガメツアーにします！スキューバダイビングをするなら、個人的にはイルカもある方がオススメです。
忘れられない思い出になりました！沢山ツアー会社があると思うのですが、私はまたここのツアーに参加してイルカやウミガメ達にまた会いたいと思いました。

投稿者: キムキム, 2020/01/18ワイキキから近いから、ゆっくりシュノーケルができ、亀の親子が可愛く、たのしめました。滑り台やトランポリンなど、子供も楽しめました。私、高齢者は、海に入る時は、予備水を掛けたかったのに、いきなりの飛び込みは、怖かったです。

投稿者: Sarah, 2020/01/05We have been snorkelling a couple of times but this was different. We saw so many turtles and fish. Great fun for our teenage kids. The boat team were fun, experienced and professional. The boat was spotless and well maintained. The sail after snorkelling was a bit rough going out due to the weather but that made it more fun! Coming back was smooth and relaxing. Free snacks on board and drinks reasonably priced.
