The positives: bus transportation and pre-paid access into shrines and temples. The negatives: It was initially described as a Fall excursion but it was more like a highlights tour. They did not address any of the autumn trees or traditions for that time of year. Because of the Fall season is so popular, all of the places were very crowded, leading to a near race at each site just to get there and back in time for the bus. It also lead to a more than one hour delayed return, which, to be fair, they said might happen, but an update as the day progressed would have been better than announcing it at the tail end of a long day. We had plans to get back to JR station by a certain time so we had to depart the bus early and catch our own cab ride back which cost nearly $40.

It was the least visible spot, in the fourth row from the front on the second floor. I could only see the inside of the car. As for the cold, it was the place where the wind hit the least.

The cost performance was good, and I was satisfied. I did feel some overall disorganization, but that might add to the local atmosphere, which could be nice. The captain of the glass-bottom boat was very good. His entertaining stories eased my anxiety about seasickness. I was able to relax while listening to the live performance of the sanshin on the water buffalo cart. I would recommend this to my friends as well.

Our factories are located in Japan, China, and Vietnam. This time, we were planning a company event inviting participants from China and Vietnam. On the last day, we arranged for sightseeing in Japan. Although it was a rather tight schedule for their stay in Japan, I felt happy when I heard the visitors say, "It was really beautiful. I had fun. I want to come to Japan again," at the end. This was our company's first joint event. Personally, I think it's been over ten years since I last visited Kyoto. Even though there was an interpreter with the visiting members, it was my first time guiding first-time visitors in Japan, so I was filled with anxiety. However, thanks to the guide who looked out for me and offered support, we managed to complete the tour safely. Right now, I feel relieved.

We were able to go during the most beautiful season for autumn leaves, and it was truly stunning. I was moved. Next time, I want to leisurely walk around the streets of Kyoto for the sole purpose of enjoyment, not work. Thank you very much for your support.

弊社の工場は日本と中国とベトナムにあります。今回は、中国とベトナムの方を招いての会社行事を企画しておりました。最後の一日に日本観光を計画しての参加でした。かなり強行な日程での日本滞在でしたが、来日された方から最後に「本当に綺麗だった。楽しかった。また日本に来たい。等々」の言葉が聞こえてきた時は私も嬉しく感じました。会社的にも第一回目の合同行事でした。私自身も京都は十数年ぶりと思います。来日メンバーには通訳さんがいるとはいえ、初めての来日の方々を観光へ案内することは私自身初めてのことでしたので不安でいっぱいでした。しかし、ガイドの方に気にかけていただいて、声をかけていただいて何とか無事に終えることができました。今はとにかくホッとしています。
紅葉が綺麗な一番いい時期に行くことが出来て本当に綺麗でした。感動しました。
今度は、仕事絡みではなく、ただ楽しむことだけを目的にゆっくり京都の街を歩いて観光してみたいと思います。

I was a bit anxious about sightseeing with a rental car, so I joined this tour. There were some places where we didn't have enough time, but it was great to be able to see everything efficiently. During the drive, the guide provided various explanations and entertained us with songs and dances.

レンタカーで観光するのに不安があったので、こちらのツアーに参加しました。
滞在時間が足りない所もありましたが、効率よく観光出来てよかったです。
車中ではガイドさんが、いろいろ説明してくれたり、歌や踊りで楽しませてくれました。

I had experienced mangrove tours several times, so it wasn't very different for me, but I definitely recommend it for first-timers.

It was great to cross the island on a water buffalo and to have my first experience sightseeing on Taketomi Island. However, I had admired it from pictures before going, and in reality, animals do have their own nature. They frequently urinate and defecate, so it can be a bit smelly.

How about trying this experience, including all of that?

マングローブツアーは何度か経験があったので、あまり変わり映えがなかったですが、初めての方はぜひ経験していただきたいと思います。

水牛で島を渡ったり、竹富島の観光は初体験で良かったです。
ただ、写真で見てあこがれていったのですが、実際はやはり動物。
おしっこやウンチを頻繁にするのでちょっと臭いです。

こういったことも含めて一度体験してみてはいかがでしょうか？

The bus guide was absolutely the best. They were great at storytelling, sang island songs beautifully, and were knowledgeable about history—there were no flaws. They were the best guide I've ever had in my life. I would love to participate again.

I chose this tour because I wanted to visit Sefa Utaki. Being a sacred site, it was filled with a solemn atmosphere, and since it was right after the rain, the fresh air made it truly pleasant and amazing! After visiting Sefa Utaki, we headed to the Gangala Valley. With our guide, we ventured through the limestone caves and jungle-like paths. Along the way, we encountered green snails, sparkling bugs, and a large banyan tree, which kept our excitement levels high! Having a guide with us allowed us to learn about things we might have missed on our own, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're heading to the southern area, I highly recommend visiting Gangala Valley. I really want to go again myself!

斎場御嶽に行ってみたくてこのツアーを選びました。聖地といわれている場所なだけに厳かな雰囲気に満ち、さらに雨上がりだったこともあって清々しい空気に包まれて本当に気持ちよく最高でした♪また、斎場御嶽見学の後、ガンガラーの谷へ。ガイドさんの案内のもと、鍾乳洞やジャングルのような道を突き進みます。途中、緑色のカタツムリやキラキラ光るカメムシ、大きなガジュマルの木にも遭遇しテンションあがりっぱなしでした⤴⤴⤴ガイドさんが一緒だと、自分たちだけでは見落としてしまうようなことも説明してもらえるので楽しさ倍増です。南部方面に行かれるならガンガラーの谷は是非是非行ってみて欲しいですね。めっちゃオススメです。っていうか私もまた行きたいです。

The new female guide was inadequate. She was just reading from her notes without any emotion, so what she was saying didn't come across. In the end, even the driver started giving advice. Her voice was quiet and lacked clarity. You can tell when someone is trying their best, even if they aren't skilled, but this guide didn't have that. I think she is not suited for being a guide.

新人なのか女性のガイドの方がお粗末だった。
ガイドもノートに書いてるのをただ読んでるだけで感情がこもって無いので言っている事が伝わってこなかった。
しまいにはドライバーさんもがアドバイスする始末。
声は小さいしハキも無いし。
出来無くても出来ないなりに一生懸命やってる人はそれが伝わって来るが今回のガイドさんはそれが無かった。
ガイドには向いてない人だと思った。

When I called the Matsubanda transportation reservation number, the male operator always told me that it was fully booked (including the days before and after). However, I was able to make a reservation anytime through this site. Even on the days I was told it was fully booked (weekdays), there were only about eight participants on the day itself. I wonder if the phone operator just said it was full because handling reservations over the phone was a hassle? The bus also arrived 10 minutes late. Yakushima has a laid-back vibe that seems impossible in the city. It allows you to forget the rush of daily life and refresh both body and mind.

But I had a great time with the local guide, a woman who was born and raised in Yakushima, as she shared various stories about the island. The weather forecast was striking, with a 100% chance of rain on the day, but we didn’t encounter any rain. The climate (temperature, wind speed) varies greatly from east to west and north to south in Yakushima. Even when it’s sunny, an umbrella is necessary. She also explained that the underwater hot springs are used by locals as their home baths, so swimsuits are prohibited, which isn’t mentioned in guidebooks.

The bus driver was amazing. He skillfully maneuvered the large bus on the narrow roads of the Western Forest Road. When encountering a rental car, he would back the bus up or instruct the other driver to back up a bit while turning the steering wheel to fit into the gap. I thought his driving skills were incredible.

Overall, while the phone reservation process was frustrating with the constant message of being fully booked (even when other travelers said there were openings on the days before and after), I found it easy to make a reservation online, so I recommend online booking. The local bus guide was entertaining, and the driver was excellent, ensuring a safe journey. They also provided transportation to our accommodation, and I would definitely recommend this experience to my friends.

まつばんだ交通予約番号に電話掛けたら、電話応対の男性からは常に満席(前後日含め)と告げられるも、このサイトから予約するといつでも予約可能です。満席とか告げられた日(平日)も当日はガラガラで参加者は８名程。
電話応対での受付が面倒で満席って言っちゃったのかなぁ？バスの朝迎えも10分遅れ。都会ではあり得なさそうなノンビリした屋久島。時間に追われる生活忘れさせられ心身リフレッシュ出来ます。

でも生まれも育ちも屋久島のお姉さんガイドさんが屋久島の事について色々なエピソード交えながら語って戴き、楽しく過ごせました。
天気予報が印象的でして当日降水確率100％でしたが、雨に遭遇せず。屋久島は東西南北で気候(気温、風速)がまるで違う。晴れでも傘は必要なんだとか。海中温泉も地元民が家の風呂として使ってるから水着禁止とかガイドブックに書いてない説明もしてくれました。

バス運転手さんが凄い。西部林道の狭い道を大きなバスを巧みに操り、対向車のレンタカーに遭遇したら バスをバックさせたり、対向車のドライバーに少しバックしてここの隙間にハンドルを右回転させながら入れて等細かく指示。
凄い運転技術と思いました。

総体的には電話予約の際の電話応対は前述の通り常に何処も満席と告げられるも(他の旅行者に聞いても前後日どこも空きあり)、ネットでは簡単に予約出来たのでネット予約がオススメ。地元のバスガイドさんの案内で話が面白かった。凄い運転手さんで道中安心で、宿泊の宿に送迎してくれるし友達にもオススメしたい位良かったです。

I passed through the breathtaking Nirai Kanai Bridge to the World Heritage Site, Sefa Utaki. Since it was early in the morning, I was able to explore at a leisurely pace. I hiked in the Gangala Valley with a lovely guide, and cold barley tea was also provided. The bus guide shared various stories about Okinawa, and since they dropped me off at the airport, it was perfect for a tour on my departure day.

絶景のニライカナイ橋を通って、世界遺産の斎場御嶽へ。朝イチだったのでゆったりと回れました。ガンガーラの谷では可愛いガイドさんとハイキング。冷たい麦茶も用意されてました。バスガイドさんも沖縄の色んな話をしてくれて、空港まで送ってもらえたので帰る日のツアーにぴったりでした。

The tour was rich in content for the price. It turned out to be a fun day and felt like a great deal. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

This tour was incorporated into our two-night, three-day trip to Kanazawa. It started raining the night before, so I was a bit worried about the weather on the day of the tour, but by the time we departed, the rain had lightened up. Even at the destination, it only drizzled occasionally. The not-so-great weather actually made the atmosphere of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama's villages very impressive, allowing us to stroll through the villages slowly while feeling as if we had time-traveled back to the past.

The lunch was also very delicious, and experiencing hand-baked rice crackers was a first for me, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The tour guide provided clear explanations along the way, and I thought the interpreter for the foreign guests was excellent as well. They spoke in easy-to-understand English, and I was able to catch what they were saying. I even managed to study some English while on this trip! (laughs)

Going on this tour created wonderful memories for my husband and me during our trip to Kanazawa. Thank you for providing such a lovely tour.

今回のツアーは金沢の二泊三日の旅行の中日に組み入れました。
前日の夜から雨が降り出して当日の空模様が少し心配でしたが、出発の時には雨も小降りとなり、また現地でも時々小雨が降る程度で済みました。
そのあまり良いとは言えない空模様が、逆に白川郷や五箇山の集落の雰囲気をとても印象的なものにしてくれて、まるで昔にタイムスリップしたような不思議な感覚を味わいながら集落の中をゆっくりと散策することができました。
昼食もとても美味しかったし、手焼き煎餅の体験も初めてのことで、とても楽しむことができました。
添乗員の方が道中いろいろと説明してくれた内容もわかりやすく、また、外国からの方への通訳の方もとても良かったと思います。わかりやすい英語で自分でも聞き取ることができました。旅行に来て英語の勉強までできました。（笑）
このツアーに行ったことで自分たち夫婦にとって、とても素晴らしい思い出に残る金沢旅行となりました。素敵なツアーを提供していただきありがとうございました。

I would like to visit Yakusugi Land again personally.

The only disappointing thing was getting stuck in traffic due to the relay marathon.

I really wanted to stop by, so I visited before my flight home from my business trip. I had plenty of time before the flight, and I thought it was convenient to take the bus to the airport.

The entrance fee for Saijō-ō-take was separate, and I was a bit surprised because I hadn't read the course details carefully, but it was no trouble at all since I could purchase the ticket from the vending machine.

You need to make a reservation in advance to enter the Gangala Valley, but they made the reservation for me, and I was able to join the tour without waiting long after getting off the bus.

I truly think it was a valuable time to visit both Saijō-ō-take and Gangala Valley.

どうしても立ち寄りたくて出張の帰りの飛行機の前に利用しました。飛行機までも余裕でしたし、バスで空港まで行かれるので楽チンだなとも思い。。
斎場御嶽の入場料は別で、コース内容をよく読まなかったので、一瞬驚きましたが、券売機で購入するのでまったく苦になりませんでした。
ガンガラーの谷はツアーに事前予約しなくては入れないのですが、予約もしてくださりバスから降りてあまり待たずにツアーにも参加できました。
斎場御嶽もガンガラーの谷も見学して本当に良かったと思う貴重な時間でした。

Positives:
1) Comfortable access to Churaumi Aquarium without worrying about bus connections
2) Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide & bus driver (only in Japanese)
3) Sightseeing places I wouldn't otherwise visit if I were to travel on my own

Negatives:
1) Long pick up & drop offs add an extra 5 hours to my tour experience (I was first on & last off)
2) Some places feel rushed cos other travellers did not keep to the meet up times
3) Old coach so not the best ventilation

Impression: This tour does take the hassle out of using public transportation & brings you to hard to reach places but be prepared to be waiting around for other people & to be transported around in a stuffy old coach.

Advice: 1) Give yourself plenty of time - a full day for the tour. 2) Do this tour during Spring or Autumn (cooler months).

It was a fulfilling day! The guide was kind and had a great singing voice! This is my third time, and it was still enjoyable. Thank you for this experience!

The tour itself was very good, and I was satisfied with the price, but I felt it was a waste of time to buy tickets separately for the Sefa Utaki, as it was not included. The tour guide was the worst. The explanations were unclear, and they were too unfriendly, which was disappointing. Whenever something went wrong, they insisted it was the parent company's fault. They never apologized. It's a shame that such a good tour can be affected by the quality of the subcontractor.

ツアー自体はとてもよく、価格も満足なのですが、斎場御嶽の価格が含まれていないのでチケットを買う時間が勿体ないと思いました。
添乗員が最悪でした。案内はわかりにくいし不親切過ぎて残念でした。何かあれば親会社のせいと言い張ります。謝ることはありませんでした。
いいツアーなだけに請け会社のアタリによっては残念な気持ちになります。

Seifa Utaki was a solemn place and nice, but the Valley of Gangala exceeded my expectations. The limestone cave is different from Akiyoshido, and while you can't see too far inside, the contrast with the valley area was enjoyable.

セーファウタキも厳かな場所で良かったですが、ガンガラーの谷が予想以上に良かったです。
鍾乳洞は秋芳洞とも違っており、あまり内部までは見えないのですが、谷になっている部分とコントラストが楽しかったです。

Loved the tour very much. Id do it again if i could.

I participated in the morning tour. The stories from the local guide, who is quite the character, were very informative. He also showcased traditional Yaeyama folk songs played on the sanshin. It was a lot of fun since I rarely get the chance to hear sanshin folk songs. The weather was somewhat cloudy, and being winter, the blue of the sea at Tamatorizaki wasn't at its best, but the guide showed us a very vivid picture of the blue Tamatorizaki on his smartphone, which was a lovely touch.

At Kabira Park, I enjoyed the glass-bottom boat, where I could see tropical fish playing around the coral reefs, fish coming close to the boat, and large giant clams and sea anemones. I also had a delicious lunch. Thank you very much.

午前のツアーに参加しました。
名物おじさんのガイドさんの話はとてもためになりました。
三線での八重山民謡も披露してくださいました。
なかなか三線の民謡を聞く機会がないので、とても楽しかったです。
お天気はやや曇り空で、また冬の時期ということもあって、玉取崎の海の青さはいまいちだったのですが、ガイドさんがスマホでとても鮮やかな青い玉取崎の画像を見せてくださったのは、とても素敵なフォローでした。
川平公園でのグラスボートでは、サンゴ礁と戯れる熱帯魚や、グラスボートに寄って来る魚たち、そして大きなシャコガイやイソギンチャクを見ることができて楽しかったです。
お昼ご飯も美味しくいただきました。

I arrived at the bus station an hour earlier than my reserved bus, but the guide kindly let me board because there were empty seats available. From the moment we departed, the guide provided detailed information about the history of the buildings and pointed out the highlights of the illuminations, saying things like, "Turn right here!" and "Turn left here!" I was never bored at all. I'm grateful to the guide for providing such a fun experience! Of course, the ride on the bus was comfortable as well.

予約したバスより1本前のバスの時間に着いてしまったのですが、空席があるからとガイドさんが快く乗せくださいました。
出発してからずっとガイドさんが建物の歴史や、イルミネーションの見どころを「ここ右ですよ！！」「ここ左です！！」とピンポイントで教えてくださったりで全く退屈しませでした。
凄く楽しい時間を過ごさせてくださったガイドさんに感謝です！
もちろんバスの乗り心地も良かったです。

During the Obon period, I stayed in Sapporo for three nights, but I wanted to visit some different places, so I joined a bus tour around Furano. The meeting point is the bus center in front of Sapporo Station, where ESTA is located. The tour is organized by Hokkaido Chuo Bus. After receiving my ticket, I waited for a while. There were quite a number of bus tours, and a large crowd of people. Soon, we were guided to the bus and boarded. About 30% of the passengers were Japanese, with the rest being foreigners. The guide provided information in Japanese at key points, but otherwise, a system streamed explanations in four languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean through earphones. The only sightseeing in Biei was from the bus window, but for the other locations, we had time after getting off the bus, so it wasn't too rushed and was enjoyable. Additionally, the lunch at Furano Wine House consisted of cheese fondue and hamburger, which was quite delicious (the restaurant's policy is to serve it warm), so it was great that it didn't fall into the common issue of "deducting points just for lunch" in such tours.

お盆時期に札幌3泊だったのですが、少し違うところにも行きたくなって富良野巡りのバスツアーに参加しました。集合場所はESTAのある札幌駅前のバスセンターです。主催は北海道中央バスになります。チケットを受け取りしばし待ちます。かなりの数のバスツアーがあって大勢の人がいます。ほどなくしてバスに案内され乗車。日本人は3割くらいで、あとは外国の方ばかり。ガイドさんの案内は要所要所日本語で入りますが、そのほかはイヤホンからの日英中韓の4か国語の解説がシステムから流れます。美瑛の丘だけは車窓観光になりますが、他はバスを降りてから時間があり、それほどせわしないわけでもなく楽しめました。なお、ふらのワインハウスの昼食はチーズフォンデュとハンバーグでこれが結構おいしく（温かい状態で提供したいというお店の方針とのこと）、こういうツアーでよくある「昼食だけ減点」ということにならずとてもよかったです。

I arrived at Yakushima Airport just before noon and participated in a half-day plan in the afternoon.

After taking a taxi to the destination, as soon as I got out of the car, the air felt cool and refreshing.

The 50-minute walking course through the Jomon Sugi and Yakusugi Land was just the right amount of exercise for someone like me, who hardly moves my body except for commuting.

The guide accompanied us along the course, teaching us about the magnificent Yakusugi and other plants unique to Yakushima. I also had the chance to see Yakuzaru and Yakushika from the car on the way back, which made for wonderful memories.

The next day, I joined a more serious trekking tour, but I was so focused on watching my footing and it was quite physically demanding that I didn't have the energy to enjoy the scenery and plants (laughs). So, this half-day tour was just right for my physical condition!

当日の昼前に屋久島空港着で、午後半日プランに参加しました。
タクシーで目的地まで登り、車を降りたとたん、空気がひんやり、澄んだ感じでした。
紀元杉とヤクスギランド５０分散策コースは、普段、通勤以外はほとんど体を動かさない自分にはちょうどいい運動量でした。
ガイドさんがコースをいっしょに案内してくださり、立派な屋久杉をはじめ、屋久島特有の植物なども教えてくださり、行き帰りの車内からですが、ヤクザルやヤクシカを見れたので、とても良い思い出になりました。
翌日に別の本格的なトレッキングツアーにも参加したのですが、足元に注意するのに必死＆体力的にもけっこうきつく風景や植物を愛でる余裕が無かったので（笑）、この半日ツアーが自分の体力的にはちょうど良かったです!

I was worried about my elderly mother, but thanks to the consideration and care of our guide, Erika Oshima, I was able to enjoy the tour with peace of mind. The fun talks and performances made the long journey a very enjoyable time. Whenever I travel, I always rely on optional tours from Veltra, and I definitely plan to do so again next time. It's unsettling to be in an unfamiliar place, so I feel secure with trusted Veltra. Thank you to our driver, Uehara, for your safe driving.

高齢な母を心配してましたが、なんのその❣️ガイドの大城エリカさんの配慮と気遣いで安心してツアーにのぞめました。楽しいトークとパフォーマンスに長旅もとても楽しいひと時でした。いつも旅行の折はオプショナルツアーはベルトラにお願いしてますが、次回も是非、お願いしようと思います。知らない土地は不安ですからね。信頼出来るベルトラは安心です。運転手の上原さん、安全運転ご苦労様でした。

Unfortunately, the weather was not great, but on October 30th, the scenery of the Hakusan Shirakawago White Road was more wonderful than I had expected. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring Shirakawa-go and Gokayama freely. It was a tour with about 20 people, both Japanese and foreigners, but it felt very well-organized and considerate, not overwhelming at all. The guide and the interpreter were both excellent. If I have the chance, I would love to visit this course again.

あいにくの天気でしたが、
10月30日、白山白川郷ホワイトロードの景色は期待していた以上に素晴らしかったです。
白川郷も五箇山での自由散策も満喫出来ました。
日本人と外国人の20名前後のツアーでしたが、大人数を感じさせない気配りの行き届いたツアーでした。
ガイドさんと通訳の方の話がとても良かったです。
チャンスがあれば、また訪れたいコースです。

i attended this bus tour as solo traveller and i enjoyed it very much. it was very informative and the Churaumi Aquarium is breathtaking !! Yui (i think that was her name) was even singing original okinawan songs for us in the bus during the drive. a really nice daytrip worth the money it costs !!

I participated on a Saturday in November, and there were even two buses. It seems to be a popular tour. There was no guide, just a tour conductor and an audio guide. The audio guide was available in four languages, and there were many foreign participants from Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, and China.

The course that includes meals and visits both Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya is quite rare, and I think the price is reasonable. Unfortunately, the weather on the day of participation was not great, but even so, there was a rainbow over Lake Toya, and it was very beautiful.

It's much colder than Honshu, so warm clothing is essential. I wore a sweater, but it was still cold...

11月の土曜日に参加しましたが、二号車まで出ていました。人気のツアーのようです。ガイドさんはおらず、添乗員さん+音声案内です。音声案内は四か国語対応で、マレーシア、インドネシア、台湾、中国など、外国の参加者も多かったです。
ごはん付きで、支笏湖と洞爺湖をあわせて回れるコースはそうそう多くなく、お値段も手ごろだと思います。参加当日はあいにくのお天気でしたが、それでも洞爺湖では虹がかかり、とてもきれいでした。

本州よりもはるかに寒い！ので、暖かい格好必須です。
セーターを着ましたが、それでも寒かった…。

On November 8th, it was unfortunately rainy, but my two friends and I visited Hokkaido for the first time. The bus guide was very polite, and despite the rain, we were moved by the great nature. The travel time between destinations was long, about an hour and a half, but we didn't feel tired and had a fun day. I thought this course was so valuable that I would want to come back to Hokkaido on a nice day and participate again. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hokkaido for the first time. If you get a nice day, it would be the best!

11月８日、この日はあいにくの雨でしたが、友達2人で、初めての北海道、バスガイドさんも、丁寧で、雨でも、大自然さに、感動しました、目的地から目的地の、移動も、長くて１時間半くらいで、疲れも、なく、楽しく1日を過ごすことが、出来、このコースはお天気の、いい日にもう一度、北海道に来て、参加したいと思うほど価値のあるツアーだと、思いました、初めて、北海道に、来た人には、絶対におススメしたいツアーでした、
お天気の良い日に当たったら、最高です、

I think the cost performance is high for the boat, bus tour, and water buffalo cart included at this price. I would like to participate again if I have the chance.

この値段でボート、バス観光、水牛車付きはコストパフォーマンスが高いと思います。
また機会があれば参加したいと思います。
