Wonderful staff created a hospitable, welcoming experience. The entertainment was interactive and enjoyable. The food was good, especially the tempura. All you can drink was a huge plus. All around great, memorable experience. If you have the money to spare, you’ll probably have a great time too.

It was my first time going to Asakusa, and since I was traveling alone, I was unsure of what to do, so I decided to ask for help at this shop. The staff were very friendly, and their kimono dressing skills were excellent. I wore a kimono that I usually don't wear and went to Asakusa with the photographer. I had requested a photo shoot as an option, and I thought it would just be taking pictures, but they also provided very detailed sightseeing guidance, which was really helpful. The photo shoot was professional, and I was surprised by how much attention they paid to my gaze and poses. I am filled with gratitude for the staff who made this a wonderfully memorable time. I would like to use their services again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

浅草へ行くのは初めてで、一人旅だったのでどうしようかと考え、こちらのお店へお願いする事に。スタッフさんはとても感じ良いし、着付けの手際も良かったです。普段は着ない着物を着て、カメラマンさんと一緒に浅草へ。オプションでお願いしていた写真撮影も、写真を撮るだけだと思っていたら、とっても丁寧に観光案内までして下さって本当に助かりました。写真撮影も本格的で、目線やポーズにまで気を遣っての撮影にびっくりしました。大変思い出に残る素敵な時間にして下さったスタッフの方々に感謝でいっぱいです。また機会があったら利用したいと思っております。ありがとうございました。

Since it was my first time in Nara, I used a sightseeing bus. I was amazed by the size of Hōryū-ji. There were many highlights within the temple grounds, and I walked so much that my feet got tired, visiting various places including the Bodai-ji. The guide also provided detailed explanations, which was very good.

奈良は、初めてなので、観光バスを利用しました。法隆寺の大きさに驚きました。境内の中に見どころが沢山有り、菩提寺までいろんな処を廻り、足が疲れるほど歩きました。ガイドさんも、詳しく説明していただき、大変良かったです。

First of all, the staff's service is outstanding. There were five staff members on board, and they responded quickly to everything from serving food to providing additional drinks. Celebrations for birthdays and other occasions were lively, and the lion dance performance was also enjoyable.

The boat stops at the Tokyo Skytree and Odaiba, allowing you to go up to the deck during that time. I was able to take photos while feeling the pleasant breeze. They were also very accommodating when it came to taking pictures with the boat in the background and with a staff member who resembled Kei Nishikori. I would love to bring my family again.

まず一番はスタッフの対応が素晴らしいです。五名のスタッフが乗船してましたが、配膳から追加の飲み物まで素早く対応してくれます。誕生日などのお祝いも盛り上がりましたし、獅子舞などのパフォーマンスも楽しかったです。
スカイツリーやお台場では停船し、その間デッキに上がる事ができます。心地よい風を感じながら写真撮影ができました。帰り際の船をバックにした写真撮影や、錦織そっくりのスタッフとの記念撮影も気持ちよく応じてくれました。また家族をつれて行きたいです。

I took a yakatabune (houseboat) for the first time, and it was amazing! Since we had a meal at a table on the boat, my legs didn't hurt at all, which was great. We boarded in the evening, so the sunset was beautiful, creating a lovely atmosphere. The food was just as shown in the promotional photos and was very delicious. Above all, I was very satisfied with the attentive service from the staff.

初めて屋形船に乗ったのですが、最高でした！
屋形船でテーブルでの食事だったので、全然足が痛くなくて良かったです。夕方からの乗船だったので、夕日が綺麗で雰囲気がよく、料理も紹介の写真通りで、とても美味しく、なによりスタッフさんのきめ細かなサービスがとても満足しました。

Since experiencing this, I've been really curious about the cut part of the cup (laughs). My family and I have started discussing how difficult it is. I'm grateful to the very kind and encouraging lady. I think it became a wonderful memory at the end of the Heisei era. If I have the chance again, I would definitely like to participate.

This workshop was easy to find, using google maps. It is a small, family-run business. We were welcomed warmly and given excellent instructions on how to put together our sample foods. My husband created sushi, my daughter (8) and I made sundaes.

We all had a great time, love our unique souvenirs, and would recommend this experience to others. It takes about a day to dry/set, but is well packaged for flying home.

The sample industry is 90+ years old, so taking part in this is trying a piece of Japanese culture.

Don't drink or like raw food while sitting on floor. Waste of money.

The explanations were easy to understand, and I was very satisfied with the attentive instruction given to each individual. The results exceeded my expectations. Since returning home, I've been enjoying drinks on the rocks in the glass I made. It was truly a wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone at Soukichi.

It was very nice! Lovely, kind people looking after us and showing the children patiently what to do. We made ice cream, Sushi candles and Ramen. These can also be made by younger children - we think. It s a fun experience for the entire family. Our children found it one of the best things of all in Tokyo :)

I can’t say enough on how great this dinner was. Staff were excited, friendly, and perfectly bilingual. If you’re having any doubts, cast them aside. This dinner cruise is most certainly worth it. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, would do again.

This is a wonderful plan that allows you to enjoy a valuable cultural experience with a maiko, including traditional games, dinner, and photography all at once. It was also very well received by foreign guests.

The owner and staff were extremely nice and helpful during our time creating fake desserts. We got to make our own designs and the instructor explained the whole process and helped guide my kids in creating their own Ice cream sundaes. The owner also showed us different foods and types of samples and their history. Going from wax to now PVC and plastics. We enjoyed their hospitality and the experience overall was awesome. Kids couldn’t wait until there samples were dry which took only 24 hours. They packaged it up in protective boxes for us for the train ride back to our hotel. Definitely recommend!

The crew at the workshop were super enthusiastic. We had a blast and actually stayed for the next session -- ramen -- based on my 10-year old's pleas to do more. Definitely going back next time we are in Tokyo. Lot of fun and went home with great souvenirs and memories.

Very friendly, kind staff. First class service, and tasty traditional japanese foods and drinks. Amazing view from the Tokyo bay to the city.

I made two separate reservations, as my group was split between wanting to make different things. The instructor was friendly and could give instructions in English. He was very encouraging and made our experience stress-free.

The location was much smaller than I expected, about the size of a studio apartment. There are "blanks" you can use to help you plan the layout of your sample. There's some room for error, so it's ok if you don't get everything how you want it the first time.

It took about 45 min for us to finish our samples. Bigger samples, like ramen and tempura looked like they'd take closer to 90 mins. This activity would be perfect between major plans, like killing time in the afternoon before dinner plans, or as a detour from Ikebukuro.

Advice: tie back long hair and wear short sleeves.

This activity was easily booked on line and adequate instructions and vouchers were received. The food was excellent and full bar service was a good feature. It caters for tradition Japanese nationals and visitors seeking such an experience. No allowance was made in the commentary or instructions for non Japanese passengers of which there were a few and seating was on floor cushions without any leg space under the table.

I was drawn to the phrase "Edo Kiriko original glass-making experience" and participated with my sister. There were additional fees for glasses depending on their size and color, but there were various beautiful colors available, not just transparent ones. Before we started carving, there was an explanation of the carving techniques, and of course, we were able to practice by actually carving the glass. The staff provided advice on how to make my carving look even better, which was very helpful. Since it was my first time, I can't say my results were particularly good, but there were a few patterns that I felt I did quite well, so I was pleased.

グラスも、大きさや色等によって別途料金がかかるものもありましたが、透明な物だけでなく、色々な色があってどれも綺麗でした。
彫る前には、彫り方等の説明があり、勿論ガラスを実際に練習で削ってみることも出来ました。
スタッフの方が自分が彫ったものに対して、こうするともっと綺麗に出来ますよ、等アドバイスをくださるので、とてもわかりやすかったです。
さすがに初めてだったので、出来はあまり良いものとは言えない見た目になってしまいましたが、何ヵ所か、まだ上手く出来た気がする柄もあるので、良かったです。

My 11yo son made the curry...and it looked so real! The steps were easy enough for him to do on his own. The couple doing the lessons were so nice and patient. We don't speak Japanese, so he tried his best to explain what he could in English. He also used a Pocket Talk to translate. We wish we could have gone back another day to do it again!

Great food,excellent staff, & awesome endless drinks.

We participated as a group of five, including my 10-year-old daughter and my 79-year-old grandfather, and everyone said they wanted to come back. We took a lot of photos, had conversations, and played games. While watching the dance, I truly felt it was a luxurious time. Considering all the experiences we had, the price felt very reasonable. We are extremely satisfied!

79歳のおじいちゃんから、10歳の娘を含む5人で参加しましたが、全員また来たいと言っていました。写真もたくさん撮ってもらったし、お話しも出来たし、ゲームもやりました。踊りを見ている時はとても贅沢な時間だなと、しみじみ感じました。これだけ体験できてのお値段にしては安く感じました。大満足です‼︎

After an half hour bus ride to the venue, dinner was served following by a show with single maiko. It's a decent performance lasting 15 minutes. The photo taking session with maiko by individual guests took the longest time for the night's activities.

I came across this tour while looking for something to participate in during the New Year holidays. You can choose your favorite shape from various glasses and engrave your desired pattern. The instructor teaches you carefully, so even as a beginner, I was able to engrave my desired dolphin and oarfish (it might be good to have a specific image of your work in mind when participating). It was a great experience to engage with traditional culture, and it became a wonderful memory.

年末年始で参加できるツアーを探していたところこのツアーに出会いました。
様々なグラスから好きな形を選び、希望の柄を彫ることができます。
先生が丁寧に教えてくれる為、初めてでも希望のイルカやリュウグウノツカイを彫ることができました（参加するときには作品の具体的イメージがあるといいかも知れません）。
伝統文化を体験でき、非常にいい思い出になりました。

Our seats were pre-assigned, and since we were guided to a window seat, we were able to enjoy the view outside while dining. We first ordered drinks and then enjoyed the buffet-style offerings of salads and fried foods. There were also unlimited servings of soup and Okinawa soba (in bowl size). The main dishes, including the red sea bream and Agu pork shabu-shabu, were delicious, which was great. During the meal, there was live music, and a singer from Okinawa performed popular songs like "Shimabito no Takara" and "Nadasou Sou," which was very enjoyable. As we finished our meal, the sunset was approaching, so we tried to go out to the deck to see it, but unfortunately, clouds covered the sky, and we couldn't tell when the sun had set. Since we had been drinking, it was just right to be on the deck, feeling the sea breeze to help sober up.

The third-floor deck was lively with customers enjoying a barbecue. Once we disembarked from the ship, we dispersed right there. Although I felt a bit stuffed from eating so much, I took a walk along Kokusai Street on my way back to the hotel.

お席は予め決まっており、窓際の席を案内されたため、食事をしながら外の景色も楽しむことが出来ました。始めに飲物をオーダーし、続いてブッフェスタイルになっているサラダや揚げ物などを楽しみました。他にはスープや沖縄そば（お椀サイズ）も食べ放題でした。メインの姫鯛、あぐー豚のしゃぶしゃぶは美味しかったので、良かったです。食事中にはライブミュージックもあり、沖縄出身の歌手の方の歌（島人の宝、涙そうそうなどの代表曲）を披露してくださり、大変楽しかったです。食事が終わる頃サンセットが近づいてきたので、外のデッキに出てサンセットを見ようとしましたが、生憎雲がかかっており、いつ陽が沈んだのか分かりませんでした。お酒も飲んでいましたのでデッキで海風にあたり酔い覚ましにはちょうど良かったです。
3階デッキではバーベキューをして楽しむお客さんで賑わっていました。
船から降りるとその場で解散となり、たらふく食べたもので苦しかったですが散歩を兼ね国際通りを見ながら歩いてホテルまで帰りました。

The pace of the bus guide was very slow. I had a muscle ache from a cramp the day before, so it was a relief. Some people might have wanted to walk a bit faster to the main sightseeing spots and take their time exploring.

バスガイドの方の歩く速さがとてもゆっくりでした。前日にこむら返りをして筋肉痛が残っていたので助かりました。もう少し観光場所のメインまで早めに歩いてゆっくり見学したいと思った方がいたかもしれません・・・・・

The sample workshop is tucked away in a residential neighborhood, but it was easy enough to find. We were a little worried whether the trip would be worth it as we made our way to the studio, but our fears were laid to rest when we were greeted enthusiastically by the owner who really made the experience priceless. My kids loved learning about how the samples are made and making their own. We had a blast!

For us as a couple without a car, the regular sightseeing bus, which allows us to listen to the guide's explanations and visit efficiently, is very convenient. We were especially healed by the scenery of Jiko-in and the matcha.

車でない私たち夫婦にとっては、ガイドさんの説明が聞け、効率よく回れる定期観光バスは便利です。特に慈光院の景色と抹茶に癒やされました。

It had been since my middle school field trip that I visited Nara, and I was able to efficiently tour the famous sites. Although it was a cold February, there weren't too many tourists, allowing me to take my time exploring each location. The guide's explanations were thorough, detailed, and entertaining, which was fantastic. I ordered lunch for an additional fee, and the set included udon and persimmon leaf sushi, which was delicious, so I was glad I ordered it.

中学生の時の修学旅行以来の奈良でしたが、効率的に名所を観光することができました。2月の寒い時期でしたが、観光客がそれほど多くなくて、各所をゆっくりと見て回ることができました。ガイドさんの話が丁寧で詳しく、そして面白くて最高でした。別料金で昼食を注文しましたが、うどんや柿の葉寿司のついたセットで、美味しくて注文して良かったです。

If you are looking to do Kimono wear this is the place you should go, they gave us an amazing experience. My husband and I had a great time doing the kimono experience through Wa kimono rental. They have a great selection of kimonos. The staff is super helpful and speak fluent English, so foreign travellers don't have to worry about communication problems. They also make you feel very comfortable as you're getting dressed.Thank you to all the Wa kimono staff. We really enjoyed this unique experience and so happy that we found your company to make our experience better.
