If you are looking to do Kimono wear this is the place you should go, they gave us an amazing experience. My husband and I had a great time doing the kimono experience through Wa kimono rental. They have a great selection of kimonos. The staff is super helpful and speak fluent English, so foreign travellers don't have to worry about communication problems. They also make you feel very comfortable as you're getting dressed.Thank you to all the Wa kimono staff. We really enjoyed this unique experience and so happy that we found your company to make our experience better

I was able to participate more casually than I expected, and the inclusion of one drink made it a great value! The behind-the-scenes tour was also a very valuable experience, allowing me to catch a glimpse of 650 years of history and tradition. The plans for future events are filled with various creative ideas, and I definitely want to participate again.

I invited my parents to celebrate my father's birthday. Unfortunately, the weather was not great that day, but they were delighted with the unique experience of being on a yakatabune (a traditional Japanese houseboat). The boat stopped at a viewpoint, and we enjoyed the night view. Additionally, the interaction with the people at the neighboring seats was wonderful, making it the best birthday celebration.

父の誕生日のお祝いに両親を招待しました。当日はあいにくの天気でしたが、屋形船という非日常を喜んでくれました。ビューポイントでは船が泊り、夜景を堪能しました。また、隣席の方々との交流も素敵で、最高の誕生祝いとなりました。

It was a tour that efficiently covered famous spots outside of Nara Park. The temples we visited on this tour were places I had been to before, but the guide's extensive knowledge made every explanation very detailed and educational, which I really enjoyed. The additional information during the transfers was also excellent. The driver was safe, which was great.

The talk by the head priest while we enjoyed a cup of tea at Jiko-in was very interesting. The head priest's father also joined us, and we had the unique experience of the "Naruryu" that we wouldn't normally get to do.

I added the lunch option for 1,000 yen, and it was the right choice since we only had about 40 minutes for lunch. (The meal felt a bit on the bland side, so it might not be suitable for small children…)

奈良公園周辺以外の有名所を効率よく周ってくれるツアーでした。
このツアーで周る寺院は、以前に行ったことはあったのですが、ガイドさんの知識が豊富で、どの解説もとても詳しく勉強になり、楽しめました。
移動中の補足情報なども素晴らしかったです。
運転手の方も安全運転で良かったです。

慈光院での一服しながらの住職のお話はとてもおもしろかったです。
住職のお父様が出てきて下さり、普段はできない鳴龍体験もさせていただきました。

お昼はオプション1000円で付けましたが、昼食時間は40分程度しかなかったので、付けておいて正解でした。
(内容は少し渋めな気がしたので、小さいお子様などには向かない昼食かもしれません…)

We had a wonderful experience at this glass cutting class. It is not as easy as it looks. We now have a greater appreciation for beautiful glasses or plates that have been cut by masters. I would recommend this class. It was a great cultural experience.

The weather was cold but the experience was fun and nice.

The host was patient and attentive to details.

Maiko was very beautiful and graceful . Her performance was great. I enjoyed it very much. The tour was a little rush. After we finished dinner we only had 15 mins left to shop and walk around the garden. The staff in the restaurant was polite and nice. I only wish they could introduce in both Japanese and English (They only speak Japanese so we had no idea what was going on)

Since it was a weekday after the holiday, we had a small group of 13 people on a large bus, which made for a comfortable ride and a relaxed visit to the sites. It was the best tour. In Nara, moving around alone can be inefficient and difficult, so it was a good decision to use the tour.

The guide's explanations were clear, and their attention to detail made me feel at ease.

However, I must mention that although I had reserved lunch, I was unsure where to sit as I was alone, and when I chose a corner seat, I was pushed aside by a group of customers without even a word of apology, which was unpleasant. I believe that the group was at fault, but if seats had been assigned in advance, this situation could have been avoided, so it's disappointing.

連休明けのウィークディだったので、大型パスに13人という少人数で、パスもゆったり、訪れる場所もゆったりで、最高のツアーでした。奈良は場所の移動がひとりでは非効率的で難しいため、ツアーを利用して正解でした。
ガイドさんの説明はわかりやすく、気配りもきちんとされていて安心できました。
あえて申しますと、昼食を予約いたしましたが、当方ひとりのため どの席につけばよいか迷い、隅の席に座りましたところ、グループ客に追い立てられ、申し訳ないの一言もなく嫌なおもいをしました。これはそのグループ客が悪いとおもいますが、あらかじめ席を指定していただければ、そのようなことはなかったはずですので残念です。

I had a wonderful time at the lunch with the geisha, where I was able to see the real performance of the geisha twice, and there was also a Q&A session.

お座敷舞妓さんランチで本物の舞妓さんの舞も2度も見れ更には質疑応答もありで楽しい時間を過ごせました。

I arrived at the store about 15 minutes early for my reservation, but they kindly guided me in. First, there was a thorough explanation of the types of glasses, their characteristics (such as ease of processing), and the pricing. After that, I was able to practice quite a bit. Considering my own skill level (laughs), I think it's good to decide on the type and design of the glass. My husband and I had completely different tastes in design, which was interesting. Since there is a set production time, if you choose a design that is too intricate or detailed, you might feel rushed towards the end. Fortunately, we were able to start the production early by chance, so we managed to finish everything, including photographing the work, within the time limit. Naturally, there are many parts that aren't perfect, but the instructor will make some adjustments, which is reassuring (laughs). I'm looking forward to drinking cold beverages from this glass in the summer. It was a really great experience!＾＾

予約時間より15分ぐらい早くお店に着いてしまったのですが、快く案内して頂きました。最初にグラスの種類、その特性（加工しやすさなど）、料金について丁寧な説明があり、そのあと割としっかり練習させてもらえます。その時の自分の力量をふまえて（笑）、グラスの種類とデザインを決めるといいと思います。夫と自分ではデザイン性が全く違っていてその点も面白かったです。制作時間は決まっているので、あまりに細かかったり手の込んだデザインにすると、最後の方は焦ってしまうかもしれません。その点、私たちは偶然ですが早めに制作を始めさせてもらえたので、作品の撮影も含めて時間内に終えることができました。当然ですが、不出来な部分も多々ありますが、先生がある程度は手直ししてくれるので安心です（笑）夏に冷たい飲み物をこのグラスで飲むのが楽しみです。とてもいい体験ができました＾＾

Everyone was a foreigner, but the attentive service provided by the Japanese staff was meticulous. I was able to spend my time comfortably. Their dedication was evident. Thank you very much.

It was our wedding anniversary, so we applied for the anniversary service. I was worried that it might have been forgotten, but they surprised us with a special arrangement, which became a wonderful memory. Thank you for the commemorative gift as well. The live performance was very homey and great. I would like to recommend this to others.

結婚記念日でしたので、アニバーサーリーサービスを申し込み、忘れられたかなって思っていたら、サプライズ的に演出していただき、良い思い出となりました。記念品もありがとうございました。

We did this cruise on the last saturday in December, and had so much fun! The food was tasty, the sake and beer was abundant, and the staff was charming. The whole activity was family friendly, and we saw people with small children and grandmothers in tow. We were lucky to be in Tokyo when they had fireworks on the rainbow bridge, and it was the best fireworks I’ve ever seen! There was also a traditional entertainer on board, who engaged everyone in a couple of party games. Although we didn’t understand everything that was happening, everyone was gracious and several people in our group took part. I would highly recommend one of these cruises.

The food was great, the drinks were plentiful, staff were very attentive and best of all, the crowd was very local, not touristy at all. The only downside of this was that all commentary was in Japanese but the views of the bay pretty much spoke for themselves.

The facility itself was located in a corner of a building and had no charm at all, but it was a great opportunity to see the maiko up close. I think the Q&A session was a rare chance. I learned about the struggles of the maiko. I was surprised at how composed they were, even though they are still in their teens. The photo session, dance viewing, and a little bit of geisha play were very memorable.

施設自体は、ビルの一角で全然風情のないところでしたが、舞妓さんを間近で見られるとてもいい機会でした。
特に質疑応答は、めったにないチャンスだと思います。
舞妓さんの苦労などがわかりました。
まだ１０代なのに、とてもしっかりしていて、びっくりしました。
写真撮影、踊り鑑賞、ちょとした芸妓遊びはとても思い出になりました。

We loved this! It was easy for my two kids (6 and 10) and the end product turned out just like the model and was a Cool take home souvenir. The staff there are wonderful, friendly, and helpful.

We enjoyed this though it was a bit difficult for my kids (7 and 10). The instructor seemed uncomfortable with children. Still, overall an interesting and fun experience with cool take home souvenirs.

The weather was bad, but I was able to enjoy the event on the boat and relax. The staff were kind. If I have the opportunity, I would like to use it again. The food is satisfying as long as you don't have overly high expectations.

天気が悪かったのですが、船の中でのイベントも楽しめゆっくりできました。スタッフの方は親切でした。機会があればまた利用したいと思います。料理も期待しすぎなければ満足です。

The waitress who took care of us made a balloon flower for my child. My child was very happy, and it became a wonderful memory. Thank you!

Most of the items are pre made and you simply need to put them together with some simple instructions. Good for family activity. Samples turn out realistic! The best part are the instructors, extremely friendly and accommodating. Tried their best to communicate in simple English and was sooooo polite. Thumbs up for them!

They have many selections for kimonos, so you can customize the color/pattern you want to wear. And if the weather is a bit harsh, you can rent a coat also. Standing by the canal in kimono makes you feel like you're a time traveler. Definitely should try it if you can spare some time!

This is a tour where you can meet adorable maiko at the lowest price. After having tea, you can take a coveted two-shot photo. If you have time, I think it would be great to participate.

This was a great activity, I took my 5 Year old and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are kind and helpful too. We loved that there was a playground next door for a good play afterwards as well :-)

It was truly wonderful. The price was reasonable, but the quality was by no means lacking. The maiko, Fuku, was very kind and beautiful. It was a valuable experience. My family and I are discussing wanting to visit again with a different plan.

I used the sunset cruising service during my trip to Okinawa. The reservation was easy, and the food was really delicious. Since it was my child's birthday, I ordered a cake, and they surprised us by bringing it out. There was also live music, which made for a fun time. Thank you very much. I would like to use this service again if I have the opportunity.

Truly an amazing experience! I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life ! And the ladies were just so humble and friendly. They also let my family come in and wait while I got all pretty. Definitely coming again for my next trip!If your contemplating on doing this you won’t regret it !

There was a mistake about the time of the reservation. I booked for 6pm and we waited for over an hour because the 6pm dinner cruise was not available. Apparently only the 7 pm dinner cruise is available on weeknights. Veltra did confirm our booking at 6 though. There was definitely a disconnect.

Once we got onto the boat, things were good. We had a good time and the atmosphere was fun.

I had the pleasure of spending a delightful time with a real maiko, Fuku Yuri, from the tea house and accommodation, Hori Ya, in Miyagawa-cho, while enjoying a catered lunch box. She performed two beautiful dances, "Seasons of Kyoto" and "Gion Kouta," and even answered questions about being a maiko. Although not everyone participated, we got to experience the feeling of being a wealthy patron through the tea house play (Konpira Funafuna). Plus, photography was allowed, and we even got to take two-shot photos together!

If you're visiting Kyoto, this is a must-do! It's a low-barrier event, perfect for first-timers, so I highly recommend it to everyone!

Lastly, unlike the occasional fake maiko you might see, real maiko are rigorously trained in etiquette and manners, so their presence and demeanor are truly remarkable, making it hard to believe they are just teenagers!

舞妓さんは宮川町 堀八重(お茶屋兼置屋)の”ふく友梨”さんが来てくれて、昼食の仕出し弁当を食べながら”ホンモノ”の舞妓さんと楽しいひと時をすごさせて貰いました。
華麗な装いで、たおやかな舞を二曲も（今回は「京の四季」と「祇園小唄」）披露してもらえて、舞妓さんに関する質問にも答えてもらえたり・・・全員ではないですがお茶屋遊び（こんぴら舟々）でお大尽気分を味わえたり？・・・それに撮影フリーですし、おまけに2ショットまで撮ってもらえちゃいます～！
京都に来たらコレでしょッ！！・・・ってくらい初めてって方にも敷居の低いイベントなので皆さんも是非ぃ～～♪

最後に：たまに見かけるなんちゃって舞妓と違ってホンモノの舞妓さんは行儀作法からして厳しく指導されてるので、とても10代とは思えぬほどに佇まいからして雰囲気が違いますよ！
