It's been a long time since my school trip to Kyoto!
I wanted to go to various places, but I was worried about getting around on my own, so I decided to join the tour!
Everywhere was crowded with school trips and tourists.
I'm glad I could visit such wonderful places without getting lost!
The tour guide was also very kind, and I'm really happy I participated!

Mr. Kuroda (the male tour guide) was absolutely perfect! His extensive knowledge about the color of the roofs of the houses we saw from the bus, the characteristics of the local people, recommended shops in Shirakawa-go, houses, and photo spots was outstanding. His timing in speaking was also excellent! The lunch was satisfying in terms of variety, quantity, taste, and atmosphere.

道中で車窓から気になっていた民家の屋根瓦の色、県民性、白川郷でのお勧めのお店、民家、写真撮影ポイントなど知識の豊富さ、喋りのタイミング、どれをとっても最高でした！
昼食も品数、量、味、雰囲気全てに満足のいく物でした。

The first tour location, Fushimi Inari, is really crowded, so I think it's better to go early in the morning.
The next stop, Kiyomizu-dera, was also crowded, and I couldn't reach the photo spots. It might be a good idea to take photos at a different location just in case.
At Kinkaku-ji, since there's only the Golden Pavilion to see, even if there are a lot of people at the photo spots, it's worth waiting a bit to get a good picture. I think it's better to take photos from a distance for a nicer shot.
In Arashiyama, at Togetsukyo Bridge and the bamboo grove, there are always people, making it difficult to find a good moment to take a picture. However, it might be nice to ride a rickshaw and take photos from a higher vantage point.
When booking the tour, I recommend reserving a lunch option. It was good to have made a reservation since it was hard to get into restaurants due to the crowds.

最初のツアー場所伏見稲荷は、本当に人が多く行くなら朝早く行かれた方が良いと思います。
次の清水寺も人が多く、写真スポットまで行き着く事が出来ませんでした。万が一の時の為に、別の場所での写真撮影をしておいた方が良いと思います。
金閣寺では、見るところが金閣寺オンリーなので、映えスポットは人が沢山いても少し待っても写真におさめた方が良いと思います。
近くより、ある程度距離があった方が綺麗に撮れると思います。
嵐山は、渡月橋や竹林ですが、人が途切れる事がないのでなかなかシャッターチャンスが難しいですが、人力車に乗って案内して貰って少し高さのあるところから撮ると良いかもしれないです。
ツアーで申込む時は、お昼付を予約することをおすすめします。人が多くてなかなかお店に入れないので、予約しておいて良かったです。

I visited a cave for the first time. Perhaps due to the rain, there were few people, allowing me to take my time and thoroughly enjoy the impressive stalactites. There are three exits, and after the second exit, there were quite a few steep stairs, but there were handrails, so I felt safe.

初めて鍾乳洞に行きました。雨のせいか人もまばらで、ゆっくり見て回ることができ、大迫力の鍾乳石をじっくり楽しめました。
出口が3ヶ所あり、2つ目の出口以降は急な階段が多めでしたが、手すりもあったので安心でした。

Maria, our tour guide, was bright, kind, and very good! Since it's unavoidable for the bus to be delayed, it might be a good idea to reconsider the course and end at a nearby location like Nijo Castle instead of Arashiyama. By the time we arrived in Arashiyama, it was already getting dark, and we couldn't fully enjoy the scenery of the bamboo grove or Togetsukyo Bridge. Also, while the yudofu and Kyoto cuisine for lunch were delicious, it was disappointing that the tempura was cold.

バスが遅れるのは仕方ないので、最後を嵐山でなく二条城などの近場にするなど、コースを見直されてもいいですね。
嵐山に着いたらすぐ日も暮れて、竹林も渡月橋もゆっくり景色を味わえなかったです。
それから、昼食の湯豆腐や京料理はおいしかったのですが、天ぷらが冷たかったのは残念でした。

I participated in a bus tour in Kyoto for the first time. I made the reservation without knowing it was for foreigners. Over 90% of the participants were foreign tourists. I was worried that the tour guide would only explain in English, but the guide, Ms. M, provided explanations in Japanese after the English ones. Additionally, she was kind and attentive to a participant who felt unwell, which was very impressive. If I can request Ms. M for the next tour, I would definitely want to do so.

外国人向けだと知らずに予約した。
参加者9割り以上が外国人。
これで、添乗員の説明が英語のみだったら
どうしようと思ったら、添乗員のMさんは
英語の説明の後、日本語で説明してくれた。
また、参加者で具合が悪くなった人への

I felt embarrassed as a Japanese person seeing that among the 60% of foreigners, the elderly Japanese did not keep the meeting time. Let's try to observe manners a bit more.

外国人か６割いる中、集合時間を守らない日本の高齢者には、日本人として恥ずかしさを覚えました。もう少しマナーを守りましょう。

I had an urgent matter in Nagoya, so I took a one-night trip from Tokyo, but I wanted to extend my stay a bit more and joined a day trip bus tour. With minimal effort, I was able to visit two famous spots for autumn leaves. The tour company staff primarily spoke Chinese, and their English and Japanese were somewhat limited, but as we approached the destinations, they provided necessary information in various languages. The meeting times were also displayed on an iPad, so there was no confusion. Since the participants spoke different languages, it might be challenging, but having even a little commentary like a tour guide could increase satisfaction. It was a fun tour. Thank you very much.

名古屋に急用があって、東京から1泊で出かけましたが、もう少し足を伸ばしたいと日帰りバスツアーに参加。
必要最小限の労力で、紅葉の観光名所を2ヶ所回ることができました。
旅行会社の方は、中国語がメインで、英語、日本語は片言の感じでしたが、目的地が近づくと各国語で必要な情報を伝えて下さいました。
集合時間などもiPadで表示。迷いませんでした。
参加者の言語がバラバラなので難しいかもしれませんが、観光ガイド的なお話が少しでもあると満足度が上がるかもしれませんね。

I participated from Osaka. Including the travel to Kyoto, I was able to easily visit the sightseeing spots. The participants were all foreign tourists, and everything was conducted almost on schedule without anyone being late. The guide was enjoyable and provided guidance in both English and Japanese.

Visiting four places in one day was quite hard, and we couldn't take our time at each location, but I efficiently explored Kyoto after many years and had a great time.

大阪から参加しました。京都までの移動を含め、とても楽に観光名所を巡る事ができました。参加者は外国人ツーリストばかりで、皆さん時間に遅れることなくほぼ予定通りに催行されました。ガイドさんは楽しい方で、英語と日本語でガイドをしていました。
一日で四カ所はなかなかハードで、各所ゆっくりとは行きませんでしたが、何十年ぶりの京都を効率よく回り十分楽しめました。

We used this service for a trip with our family of three. We were blessed with clear skies and vibrant autumn leaves, allowing us to explore the stunning Shirakawa-go and Takayama. The scenery along the way was filled with beautiful fall colors.

There were eight groups of foreign tourists and three groups of Japanese tourists, and our guide, Mr. Kuroda, alternated between speaking Japanese and English. Based on the map provided, we were given recommendations for great photo spots, souvenirs, and hidden gems for our free exploration. We had two hours in Shirakawa-go and one hour and 45 minutes in Takayama, which was ample time for the tour. However, we were so engrossed in taking photos in Shirakawa-go and enjoying street food in Takayama that we felt we could have used more time.

The traditional gassho-zukuri houses and the old townscape were certainly impressive, but the overall atmosphere, especially with the season, was the highlight for me, making it a wonderful experience.

親子3人旅で利用させていただきました。
この日は雲ひとつない晴天と彩り豊かな紅葉に恵まれて、絶景の白川郷、飛騨高山を散策することがでした。道中も山々の全面に紅葉が見られ、ひたすらに美しかったです。
ツアー客は外国人観光客が8組、日本人客が3組で、ガイドの黒田さんは日本語と英語で交互に話されていました。
配布していただいた地図を基におすすめの写真スポットやお土産、穴場を教えていただいての自由散策。時間は白川郷は2時間、飛騨高山は1時間45分の散策で、ツアーとしては十分に確保してくださっているものの、白川郷では写真撮影、飛騨高山では食べ歩きに夢中で時間が足りないぐらい楽しむことができました。
合掌造りや古い町並みはもちろんながら、季節を含めた空気感が私にとっての感動ポイントで、素晴らしい体験になりました。

I was able to fully enjoy Kyoto in just one day. Our guide, Maria, was very pleasant, and her explanations and guidance were accurate, which gave me a sense of security. It was a bit disappointing that the tempura was cold, but that might be unavoidable. The time spent at the sightseeing spots was just right. I'm really glad I chose this tour.

ガイドのマリアさんもとても感じよくて、説明や案内が的確で安心感がありました。
仕方ないのかもしれないけれど、天ぷらが冷めていたのが残念でした。
観光地の滞在時間もちょうどよかったです。

I was satisfied with the sightseeing tour, which felt like a school trip. Participants gathered on time, and there were no delays in departure. There was hand sanitizer at the boarding and alighting doors. The lunch was also delicious.

修学旅行並みの観光地巡りで満足。参加者が時間厳守で集合し、出発遅れなし。乗降扉に消毒液あり。ランチも美味しかった。

Both the guide and the driver were cheerful and greeted us often, which made me very happy.

Their clear explanations allowed me to fully enjoy Shirakawa-go for the first time. It was a fun day. Thank you.

In November, it was a day with strong southern winds, and there was occasional light rain, but we were able to go sightseeing as planned. I had seen the gassho-zukuri style many times in photos, but the real thing was even more impressive and moving than the pictures. I believe there are challenges in maintaining it, but I hope it can be preserved for future generations. I also appreciate the staff's assistance with the tourist information.

11月ですが南風の強い日であり、時より小雨が降りましたが、予定通り観光することができました。合掌造りは、写真では何度も見ておりましたが、実物は写真以上のものがあり素晴らしく感動しました。維持していく大変さもあるとは思いますが、後世に残してもらいたいものです。
観光案内など、スタッフの対応にも感謝しています。

I participated because we were scheduled to disperse at Kyoto Station at 5 PM! However, it actually ended up being 6 PM, which messed up my next plans. The guide mostly spoke English since there were many foreigners. I only understand Japanese, so I was completely lost! I feel like I wasted my money paying for the same thing.

At one point, a foreign participant didn't return on time, and during the initial explanation, we were told that if they didn't come back, we would be left behind and would have to chase the bus ourselves. We ended up waiting for that person for several minutes. However, they never returned, resulting in a significant loss of time!

I cannot recommend tours with many foreigners. The schedule was so different that I feel like I want a refund.

17時に京都駅解散予定だったので参加しました！
実際は18時解散となり、次の予定が狂いました。
外国人の方が人数が多いからとガイドはほとんどが英語でした。
こちらは日本語しかわからず、ちんぷんかんぷんですよ！同じ事お金を払ってとても損をした気分です。
途中、外国人の方が時間通りに戻らず、初めの説明では戻らないと置いていく、置いていかれたら自分でバスを追いかけてと言われていましたが、
戻らない方を数十分待つ事になりました。
しかしその方は戻っては来なく、大変なタイムロスです！！
外国人の多いツアーはオススメ出来ません。
あまりにも予定が違うので返金して欲しい気分です。

The weather was favorable, and I was very satisfied with the day's itinerary.

The tour guide was excellent and made for a fun experience. However, I was quite surprised by the number of tourists. As expected, Kyoto is popular... Moreover, I was astonished that more than 80% of them were international visitors. There are pros and cons to the inbound tourism that has been in the news, but I could really feel it.

I am very grateful to the tour guide and the driver for their assistance. Thank you very much.

天気にも恵まれて１日のコースとしては、大変満足いたしました。


添乗員さんが大変良く楽しい体験になりました。しかし、観光されている方が多いのには、大変驚きました。さすが人気の京都ですね、、、しかも、大半（８割以上）海外の方には大変驚きました。ニュースになっているインバウンドにも善し悪しありますが、実感できました。

I ran the Kanazawa Marathon and participated in a tour the following day. There were many inbound tourists, and there was an interpreter guide as well. The Japanese guide's polite and cheerful explanations were very good. The walking time was just right, and I was able to enjoy it. Thank you very much.

金沢マラソンを走り、その翌日にツアーに参加しました。インバウンドの方が多く、通訳のガイドさんもいらっしゃいました。

It was the peak of the autumn leaves, and despite it being a busy day during the three-day weekend, we were able to go smoothly thanks to the bus tour!

We hardly got stuck in traffic and were able to fully enjoy Shirakawa-go at a leisurely pace! The guide's trivia was also enjoyable, and I participated with genuine joy!

I will join again!

There are parts that are unavoidable due to road congestion, but we only had a little over an hour to stay in Shirakawa-go. It was disappointing that we had to rush through.

道路混雑で仕方ない部分もありますが、白川郷での滞在時間が1時間ちょっとしかなかった。とても急いで回らなくてはならなくて、残念でした。

It was a pleasant trip on a sunny and warm day. I think it's best to wear comfortable clothes and shoes since you'll be walking a lot. I'm glad I participated not just in Kanazawa city but also ventured a little further.

晴れて暖かい日で気持ちいい旅でした。しっかり歩くので歩きやすい服装と靴で参加するのがいいと思います。金沢市内だけでなく少し足をのばして参加して良かったです

It was a bit early for the autumn leaves, but there were a lot of people everywhere. We were delayed a little due to traffic congestion, but the guide made it exciting, and it was a very enjoyable bus trip. Thank you.

紅葉には少し早かったですが、どこも人が凄い。交通渋滞で少し時間が遅くなりましたが、ガイドさんが盛り上げてくれてとても楽しいバス旅でした。ありがとう。

It was my first time in Shirakawa-go, and I felt a bit disappointed because of the rain, but upon arrival, I found that the rainy Shirakawa-go had its own charm and was really wonderful.

初めての白川郷、雨で少し残念な気がしていましたが、到着してみると雨の白川郷も情緒があってとてもよかったです。

The experience was just okay. First, the guide was late in the morning. There was no greeting, and she was mostly on her phone. She was very good at Chinese, but it seemed like she lacked Japanese hospitality. I can't say this experience was bad, but it could have been better.

体験はまあまあだった。まず、ガイドが朝遅かった。挨拶もなく、ほとんど携帯電話を使っていた。彼女は中国語がとても上手でしたが、日本的なホスピタリティに欠けているように思えました。この体験が悪いとは言えないが、もっと良かったかもしれない。

The day I participated was Saturday, and both Takayama and Shirakawa-go were bustling with tourists. The tour participants included not only Japanese but also many foreigners, and the tour guide was very kind, accommodating us in Japanese, English, and Chinese.

In Takayama, after strolling through the old streets, we enjoyed Hida beef for lunch. As expected of Hida beef, it was incredibly tender and delicious. There are also many food stalls and cafes in Takayama, making it hard to decide what to eat. I recommend the non-sweet Mitarashi dango and Gohei mochi!

In Shirakawa-go, it was unfortunately rainy, but we crossed a suspension bridge to view the gassho-zukuri houses and aimed for the observation deck on foot. The distance isn't too far, but the incline is quite steep, and there are no rest areas along the way, so I think it's better for those who aren't confident in their legs to use the shuttle bus. The view of Shirakawa-go from the observation deck was very beautiful. After taking commemorative photos at the top, we were able to relax at a nearby cafe. There were also many lovely souvenirs for sale.

Both walking times were set at two hours, which was just right for sightseeing, and I was able to enjoy it quite a bit. We arrived back on schedule as planned. I would love to participate again. Thank you very much!

参加した日は土曜日で、高山も白川郷も観光客が多く、賑わっていました。ツアーの参加者は日本人だけでなく外国の方も多いですが、添乗員さんは日本語、英語、中国語の3カ国語で対応してくれてとても親切でした。
高山では古い街並みを散策後、ランチに飛騨牛をいただきました。さすが飛騨牛、驚くほどやわらかくて美味しかったです。他にも高山には食べ歩きのお店やカフェも多くあって、何を食べようか迷うほどでした。甘くないみたらし団子や、五平餅もおすすめ！
白川郷ではあいにくの雨でしたが、吊り橋を渡って合掌造りを見学し、徒歩で山の上の展望台を目指しました。距離としてはそこまで遠くないのですが、上り坂の角度がかなり急で、途中で休憩する場所がないので、足腰に自信がない方はシャトルバスを利用するのがいいと思います。展望台から眺める白川郷はとても綺麗でした。頂上で写真を記念撮影したあと、すぐ横にあるカフェでのんびりできました。素敵なお土産もたくさん売っていました。
散策時間はどちらも2時間ですが、観光するのにちょうどいい時間設定で、かなり満喫することができました。帰りの到着も予定通りの時刻でした。また参加させていただきたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

The course is to take the Torokko train from Arashiyama and return via the Hozu River boat ride. I purchased the e-ticket for the Torokko train on KKday. I made a reservation for the Hozu River boat ride on Veltra, but I couldn't change the number of people, so I had to cancel everything and rebook. I was worried that I might not be able to rebook. This concern lowered my overall rating.

I was also anxious about whether I could take the shuttle bus to the boat dock, but I was able to buy tickets with a coupon at Torokko Saga using my Manaca card (¥310 per person). The shuttle bus itself wasn't too crowded, and it seemed you could pay with cash or a transportation IC card. This might have been because the Torokko Saga train departed at 9:02 AM.

Since I had purchased tickets on KKday and Veltra, everything went very smoothly overall.

The Hozu River boat ride was a leisurely experience powered entirely by human effort. It felt quite long. However, I thought the lack of a service to take pictures while on the boat was a bit lacking in customer service. Also, although it was clear in the morning, I heard that the boat service was canceled in the afternoon due to bad weather. We didn't encounter any rain, but it did suddenly become overcast in Arashiyama. We were lucky!

嵐山から行きはトロッコ列車、帰りは保津川下りで嵐山に戻ってくるコースです。
トロッコ列車はkkdayでEチケットを買っておきました。
保津川下りはベルトラで予約しましたが、人数減の変更が出来ず、いったん全部キャンセルして再予約の必要がありました。
もしかして再予約できないのでは？と不安でした(^^;(^^;
その点の不安が評価を落とした理由です。

あと船乗り場への連絡バスも乗れるのか不安でしたが、トロッコ嵯峨でクーポン付きの切符をマナカで買えました(\310×人数分）
連絡バス自体はそう混むこともなく、現金でも交通系ICカードでも乗れるみたいでした。朝一トロッコ嵯峨9：02発だったためかもしれません。
kkdayとベルトラで購入しておいたため全体としてとてもスムーズでした。

保津川下りはすべて人力のゆったりとした川下りを楽しめました。
とても長く感じました。
ただ船に乗ってる写真を撮ってくれるサービスが全くないのがサービス精神にいまいち欠けるなと思いました(^^;(^^;
あとこの日は午前中快晴だったのに悪天候のため午後欠航になったそうです。
私たちは雨には逢いませんでしたが、たしかに嵐山では急にどんよりした空になりました。運が良かったです(^^;(^^;

On a pleasant, sunny weekday in autumn, I participated in a bus tour to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go. As expected from Veltra, there were only a few Japanese participants, and the tour was very international, with everyone being well-versed in traveling in Japan and its customs. Visiting popular spots on a weekday allowed for a moderate crowd, and the crisp mountain air and breeze were delightful. In Takayama, I enjoyed food sampling and tasting local sake, as well as Hida beef croquettes and obanyaki. We then headed to Shirakawa-go with plenty of time to spare. It was my first visit, and I was impressed by the grandeur of the river valley and the harmony of the gassho-zukuri houses that continued deeper into the village; it was truly beautiful. Despite the number of tourists, there wasn't a single piece of trash in sight, which was impressive. I spent a leisurely autumn afternoon and returned to Nagoya as scheduled. Thank you very much to our multilingual guide and the driver who drove safely and on time.

秋の気持ちの良い晴天の平日、飛騨高山と白川郷バスツアーに参加しました。さすがベルトラさん、参加者は日本人はわずかで、国際色豊かなツアーでしたが、皆さん日本を旅慣れているというか、日本の旅のマナーもよく心得ている方ばかりでした。平日に人気スポットを訪れることができ、ほどほどの混み具合、澄み切った山の空気や風が心地よかったです。高山では、食べ歩きや地酒のお試し飲み、飛騨牛コロッケや大判焼きも楽しみました。そして、余裕を持って白川郷向かいました。初めて訪れ、川の渓谷の雄大さ、その奥に続く合掌造りの家々が村全体が調和が降っていて、とても美しいと言う印象でした。あれだけ観光客が訪れてもゴミ1つ落ちていないのはさすがです。ゆったりとした秋の午後の時間を過ごして、予定通りに名古屋に戻ってきました。何か国語も操るガイドさん、安全運転で、定刻通りに走ってくれた運転手さん、本当にありがとうございました。

I participated in a bus tour to Takayama and Shirakawa-go.
There were people of various ages from different countries.
Even though it was Saturday and the roads were likely crowded, the entire itinerary was perfectly timed, with plenty of sightseeing and break time, allowing us to enjoy the tour with peace of mind.

多国籍でいろんな年代の方が参加しておられました。
土曜日で道も混んでいたでしょうに、全行程時間ぴったりで、観光時間や休憩時間も充分にあり、安心して観光できました。

I visited in October, and there was a major traffic jam. Everyone was lining up for parking. Buses with parking permits for Shirakawa-go can go straight ahead, allowing them to bypass the traffic and park smoothly in the parking area within Shirakawa-go.

Restaurants, cafes, and shops also had long lines. Since lunch was included, we had a delicious meal right away in a large traditional house, featuring Hida beef grilled on a magnolia leaf and local vegetables, with unlimited rice refills.

The bus to the observation deck stops running in the afternoon, so we quickly ate and boarded the village bus to go to the observation deck. You can walk there, but if you're feeling tired, taking the bus is a better option.

Overall, the time spent there was sufficient. For those who are short on time or dislike waiting, I recommend joining a tour.

10月に行きましたが、大渋滞です。
みなさん駐車場に並びます。白川郷内に駐車許可が出ているバスはまっすぐ進めますので、渋滞から抜けて白川郷内の駐車場に止められますのでスムーズです。
飲食店やカフェ、売店も長蛇の列です。ランチ付きでしたので、着いたらすぐ大きな古民家でのランチで、飛騨牛の朴葉焼きや、地元野菜がでて、ごはんおかわり自由でおいしかったです。
展望台行きのバスが昼で終わるので、さっさと食べてすぐ村のバスに乗り、展望台へ行き降りてきました。歩いてもいけますが、しんどい方はバスがいいです。
全体の滞在時間は十分でした。時間のない方や、待つのが嫌な方はツアーをオススメします。

It seemed to be a well-known tour for foreign visitors, and out of the nine participants that day, seven were likely from China, including the driver (who also made announcements about the meeting times).

Perhaps because it was a small group, we used a minivan with a capacity of ten people instead of a large bus. It wasn't particularly bumpy, and we were able to spend the time comfortably, although I felt a bit cramped since I had my luggage in my seat. If I had asked, I might have been able to place it in the empty space at the back.

The announcements inside the vehicle and at the location were primarily in Chinese, and we were only given the minimum information (meeting time). However, if we had any questions, the driver was able to answer them properly, so there were no issues, and we could participate with peace of mind.

We arrived at Kamikochi before 11 AM and were satisfied to enjoy a full four hours of exploration until just before 3 PM.

外国の方向けに広く知られているツアーのようで、この日の参加9名のうち私達以外の7名の方はおそらく中国の方で、運転手（この方が集合時間等のアナウンスもされていました）も中国の方でした。

少人数だったためか、大型のバスでなくキャラバンの様な10名定員のミニバン（？）でした。特に揺れがひどいわけではなく問題なく過ごせましたが、荷物を自席に置いていたので少し窮屈に感じました。申し出れば、もしかしたら後部の空きスペースに置かせてもらえたかもしれません。

車内や現地でのアナウンスは基本的にほぼ中国語で、私たちには最低限の情報（集合時間）が知らされるのみ。ですが、気になることがあれば運転手さんに確認すればきちんと答えてくれるので問題なく、安心して参加することができました。

11時前に上高地に到着し、15時前までたっぷり4時間散策を楽しむことができて満足でした。
