It was a fun tour that allowed us to fully enjoy the famous tourist spots in Kyoto in one day. The guide was kind, and the driver drove safely. Thank you very much. However, there was not much time to buy souvenirs.

京都の有名観光地を１日で満喫できる、楽しいツアーでした。ガイドの方も親切、ドライバーの方も安全運転でした。有難うございました。ただ、お土産を買う時間少なかったです。

It was a trip in heavy rain, but thanks to Mr. Kuroda's thoughtfulness and care, we were able to have a wonderful time. My husband and I, being in an international marriage, enjoyed a fun bus trip without getting bored thanks to Mr. Kuroda's English. We are planning to go again in winter. Thank you very much.

土砂降りの中での旅行でしたが、黒田さんの心配りと気遣いでとても素晴らしい時間を過ごす事ができました。主人と私は国際結婚のため黒田さんの英語で2人とも退屈する事なく楽しいバスでの旅行が出来ました。次回は冬に行こうと話しております。ありがとうございました。

The guide was very kind, and the stay in Takayama and Shirakawa-go was just the right length of two hours—not too long and not too short. I enjoyed strolling around the streets and eating delicious food. I thought it would be nice to stay overnight in Shirakawa-go someday.

ガイドさんが親切な方でしたし、飛騨高山、白川郷の滞在は、長すぎず短すぎずの２時間で、個人的にはちょうどよい長さでした。ぶらぶらしながら街並みを楽しんだり、美味しいものを食べたりして過ごしました。白川郷はいつか宿泊してみたいなぁと思いました。

I used this service with a friend. The weather was wonderful, and we were able to see the best views. The duration of our stay was also set at a comfortable time, which I appreciated. However, during my visit, there were mostly Chinese tourists, and while the guide provided clear announcements in Chinese, there were times when they didn't inform us about the return time to the bus at the service area. I would have liked to have clearer announcements in Japanese as well.

天気に恵まれ最高の景色が見られました。
滞在時間も疲れすぎない程よい時間設定で良かったと思います。
ただ私が利用した時には中国人が過半数を占めており、ガイドの方も中国アナウンスはしっかりしているのにＳＡでのバスに戻る時間を案内できていない時があったので日本語でもしっかり案内してほしかったです。

I thought it would take a long time to visit Kyoto on my own, so I participated in this bus tour that included all the places I wanted to see. I was surprised to see so many foreigners, but I was impressed by how the guide handled everything in both Japanese and English. 京都観光を個人で回ろうとならば時間がかかると思い今回行きたい所が全て揃っているこのバスツアーに参加させて頂きました。思いの外外人さんが多かったのでびっくりしましたがガイドの方が日本語と英語で丁寧に対応していたのに驚きました。時間の配慮も充分で楽しく全てを回ることが出来ました。1日観光で有ればとてもお勧めなツアーでした。ガイドのみきさん、有難う御座いました。

There were three of us Japanese people, and the rest were foreigners, making it a full house. There were so many foreigners in various places in Kyoto. There were also Japanese school trips, so it was crowded everywhere... It was hard to get through the crowds no matter where we wanted to go. Most people around us were not wearing masks. A group from Korea was on the same bus, which was interesting. There was a male tour guide who seemed to be with them, and he was giving a long explanation to his guests using a microphone, but I wished he would lower his volume a bit; it was quite uncomfortable. He was talking extensively about the history of Okinawa to just a few guests, but it was unfortunate for those who had to listen. It was uncomfortable because we could hear him too, and it had nothing to do with our trip. I thought, why not just rent a bus and do it there?

While I was looking at photos of the interior of Kinkaku-ji, some men from an unknown country squeezed in front of me and started taking pictures and explaining things. I felt a sense of racial discrimination. It felt like the atmosphere was saying, "An Asian woman alone is in the way, so move." It made me sad in Kyoto.

I also felt uncomfortable watching the foreigners on our bus being affectionate with each other. On the other hand, the guide provided many explanations in Japanese for the few Japanese people, so I was able to enjoy some free exploration.

日本人は私とあと2人。他は外人で満席京都各所に外人だらけ。日本人の修学旅行もいて人人人…見たいどこ行くにも人をかき分けて。周りはほぼノーマスク。韓国の団体さんがバスに同乗してましたがそういうこともあるんですね。そちらに添乗員らしき男性が付いてて、自分の客に向けて長ーくマイクで案内していたがもう少し声のボリュームを下げてほしかった、だいぶ不快でした。その男性添乗員沖縄の歴史だかを、ごく一部の客に長々話してたけど聞かされてる方も不憫。こっちにまでいやでも聞こえてくるので不快、この旅行には関係ないでしょう？別にバスを貸切してそこでやれば？と、思いました。
金閣寺の内部を写した写真を見てたら知らん国の男性たちが私の前に挟まって来てそこで写真撮影や説明を始めた。人種差別的なのも感じた。アジアの女1人邪魔だからどけよって空気。なんか京都で悲しくなりました。
うちのバスの外人さんもイチャイチャするのみてて不快。
一方、ガイドさんは少ない日本人のためにも日本語で多々案内してくれたのでフリー散策も楽しめました。

I was able to efficiently visit several places in one day. It feels tiring and difficult to explore each location alone. This seems to be a benefit of the tour, but as a result, the time spent at each place is short, which can feel a bit rushed. The cost performance is good.

1日で効率良く廻る事が出来ました。 単独で各所を尋ねるには疲れるし難しい感じです。 ツアーならではのメリットかと思われますが、その分1か所1か所の 滞在時間が短く、少しせわしなく感じられます。 コスパは良いです。

It was still quite hot at the end of September, but it was a bit cloudy, making it a perfect day for sightseeing.

I participated alone, but I quickly became friends with the person sitting next to me on the bus.

We chatted while exploring, which doubled the fun.

At Kinkaku-ji, I also enjoyed matcha with that person. It was delicious and had a lovely atmosphere.

９月の終わりくらいのまだまだ暑さの残る日でしたが、少し曇っており、観光にはうってつけの日でした。

私は一人参加でしたがすぐにバスの隣の席の方と仲良しになりました。

その方といろいろと話をしながら回りました。楽しさが倍増しました。

そして、金閣寺ではその方とお抹茶も楽しめました。おいしかったです。風流な感じで良かったです。

There were about 25 participants, and I was the only Japanese person. The driver was the only Japanese person, which somehow made me feel reassured. (laughs) I think the tour guide was probably Chinese.

Since there were participants from various countries, there were no greetings on the bus and no local guidance. It’s necessary to accept that the tour guide is not a guide in the traditional sense. (laughs) However, they clearly communicated the meeting times, distributed brochures tailored to each country before arriving at each location, and provided simple explanations in broken language.

This may not be suitable for those expecting the services of a large Japanese travel company’s bus tour, but it was absolutely fine for me. I was able to visit places that are difficult to reach individually, enjoy sightseeing comfortably by bus, and had a wonderful day.

That said, there were indeed participants from various countries this time, but everyone adhered to the meeting times, there were no loud talkers, and everyone was quite reasonable, which might have been lucky. It might be better for those participating in this tour to not expect too much of a Japanese-style experience.

In any case, I had a great time sightseeing without any issues. Thank you for a fun day!

約25名の参加者で日本人は私だけでした。
運転手さんは唯一日本の方で何となく心強かったです。笑
添乗員さんは多分中国の方だと思います。
色々な国の参加者の方が居られましたのでバス内で挨拶もないし現地の案内もありません。ガイドさんではなく添乗員さん、と割り切るのが必要です。　笑
でも集合時間を分かりやすく伝えてくれたり、各地到着前に各国に合わせたパンフレットを配ってくれたり、片言で簡単な説明してくれたり、と、
日本の大型旅行会社のバスツアーサービスを期待してる方には向かないかもですが、私には全く問題ありませんでした。
個人では行きにくい場所にゆったりとバスで連れて行って貰えて観光も満喫でき、楽しい1日となりました。

ただ、今回は本当に様々な国の方が居られましたが、皆様しっかりと集合時間を守り、大声で喋る方も居ないし、常識ある方ばかりだったのがラッキーだったのかも知れません。
そこは参加者の方で差があるかもなのでこのツアーはあまり日本式を求めないで参加する方がいいかもです。

とにもかくにも私は何も問題なく楽しく観光させていただきました。

The scenery changes with the seasons—autumn, spring, and late summer—was refreshing.

I participated in a sightseeing tour in Kyoto. I was thinking of exploring on my own by car, bus, or train, but I'm glad I chose this option. I was satisfied with the sightseeing, the guide's explanations, and I could take a nap during the transfers, which made for a fulfilling day.

I participated in a tour of Kiyomizu-dera and other sites on September 19. The tour guide was a wonderful person. Most of the participants were from English-speaking countries, but there were a few Japanese people, including myself, and I think it was challenging for her to explain in both English and Japanese. She always maintained a smile and worked hard to provide clear and thorough explanations, which was very good. As the tour was coming to an end, everyone erupted into applause, almost like a standing ovation. Of course, we couldn't stand up since we were on the bus, but I felt that everyone was filled with gratitude. Thank you very much for a truly enjoyable bus tour today.

9月19日に清水寺他のツアーに参加しました。
ツアーガイドの方はとてもステキな方でした。殆どが英語圏の人でしたが
私を含めて数人の日本人がおり彼女は英語と日本語での説明して大変だった

Since it was a tour with foreign participants, there were many explanations in English and fewer in Japanese, which was a bit disappointing. It was difficult to walk while looking at the map to keep to the meeting time, and I was scared of getting lost. I wished the map was a bit clearer and that it showed the walking time as well.

外国の方と一緒のツァーだったので、説明が英語が多く、日本語が少なかったのが、少し残念でした。
待ち合わせ時間を守るために、地図を見ながら、歩くのが大変で、
道に迷うのが怖かったです。
地図をもう少し分かりやすく、歩いてかかる時間も、表示してほしかったです。

I signed up for a day trip bus tour from Nagoya to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go during the middle of the three-day weekend. I received an immediate "Tour Confirmation Email."

I did some research beforehand, but the meeting place was easy to find, and I was able to enjoy sightseeing with a diverse group of participants.

Our guide was from China, but was fluent in Japanese and had a very kind personality that shone through.

I appreciated their wonderful attitude in answering questions very politely within their knowledge.

The bus driver was also experienced, adapting to traffic conditions with flexible driving, allowing us to stick to the schedule.

I read all the reviews on Veltra, and my elderly parents were able to enjoy the trip wholeheartedly, so I think doing a little research beforehand can make the experience even more enjoyable.

We had two hours in Hida Takayama and two hours in Shirakawa-go, which I felt was just the right amount of time, not shorter than expected.

Above all, even after buying a lot of souvenirs, we could leave them on the bus, and they made sure to count everyone, so no one was left behind. The travel time was also a big advantage, as we could chat or take a nap and relax.

I would like to participate in another tour next time.

三連休の中日に名古屋発、飛騨高山、白川郷の日帰りバスツアーを申し込みました。
すぐに「催行決定お知らせメール」が届きました。

下調べはしましたが、待ち合わせ場所も分かりやすく、国際色豊かな参加者の皆様と、とても楽しく観光することができました。

ガイドさんは中国の方でしたが、日本語が堪能で、とても優しい人柄がにじみ出ている感じでした。

分かる範囲でとても丁寧に質問に応えて下さる姿勢が素敵でした。

バスの運転手さんもベテランなので、渋滞に合わせた臨機応変の運転で、スケジュール通りに回ることができました。

Veltraの口コミも全て見ましたが、年老いた私の両親も心から楽しんで行ってくることができたので、少し調べて行くと、より楽しく過ごせると思います。

飛騨高山２時間、白川郷２時間の滞在時間でしたが、思ったよりも短くなく、丁度よい時間配分だったと思います。

何より、お土産沢山買ってもバスに置けるし、ちゃんと人数確認してくれるので、置いてきぼりにもなりません。
移動時間はおしゃべりしたり、居眠りしたりと、リラックスして過ごすことができるのも大きなメリットでした。

次回も別のツアーに参加してみたいと思います。

そして、ガイドさんと運転手さんには、この場を借りて感謝をお伝えしたいです。

I was a bit worried because there were few Japanese participants, but everyone was punctual, and during the travel, they spoke in a respectful tone, so there were no issues at all. We were able to explore Kamikochi for a solid four hours and returned home earlier than planned. I would like to participate again! ♫

日本人の参加が少なく不安でしたが、参加者皆さん時間厳守で、移動車中も周りに節度ある話声で、まったく問題ありませんでした。
上高地はしっかり4時間散策でき、予定より早く帰途につきました。

Overall, I was able to enjoy the trip.

However, the person in front of me on the bus reclined their seat too much, making my own seating space feel cramped the entire time.

It might be difficult to address this, but since we have to stay in the same place for several hours, I hope this can be considered as one of the areas for improvement.

I participated in the tour that departed at 9:30 AM. I thought it might be a bit cooler than Kanazawa, but it turned out to be quite hot and humid that day. The decision to take National Route 304 up to a certain point, anticipating traffic on the highway, was a nice judgment call.

Since there were foreign guests on board, it was great to hear explanations in English during the trip. After arriving in Shirakawa-go, I was surprised that lunch was served so soon, but it was very delicious. The bus stop to the observation deck was also very close to the dining area, and I was able to secure a seat on the last bus of the morning, which was excellent.

Before arriving in Shirakawa-go, the guide shared information about places that don't attract many tourists, but it was a pity that we couldn't go there; however, I would like to try again next time. There was plenty of free time, and the guide was friendly, making it a satisfying tour. I recommend that those participating in the tour during summer bring water, a hat, and, if possible, a parasol. If I have the opportunity, I would like to join again.

9時30分発のツアーに参加しました。金沢より少しは涼しいのかと思いましたが、当日はかなり暑く、蒸し暑い日となりました。高速道路が渋滞するであろうとの予測から途中まで国道304号線を通る判断はナイスジャッジでした。
外国人の方と混乗であった為、道中英語での説明も聴くことができてとても良かったです。
白川郷到着後に直ぐの昼食で、えっもう昼食？と思いましたがとても美味しくいただけ、食事処から展望台行きのバス乗り場へも至近距離で、午前最後のバスの席が確保できとても良かったです。
白川郷到着前にガイドさんより余り観光客が訪れない場所を教えていただけましたが、そこまで行けなかったのは残念でしたが、次回チャレンジしたいと思います。自由時間も充分あり、ガイドさんはフレンドリーで満足できるツアーでした。夏にツアー参加される方は水と帽子、可能であれば日傘をお持ちいただいて参加されることをオススメ致します。機会があれば、また参加したいと思います。

I participated in a bus tour alone for the first time, and thanks to the tour guide and the driver, it turned out to be a truly fulfilling and enjoyable day! I wasn't confident about visiting four places on my own, so I'm glad I joined the bus tour! There were many foreign participants as well, so the tour guide's explanations in both Japanese and English were fantastic and enjoyable to listen to! I want to join another bus tour again.

It's a good idea to order lunch. The yudofu was delicious!

I walked more than I expected, and with the temperature exceeding 30 degrees on the day, I was very tired. However, Maria's bright and fun explanations, along with her gentle demeanor, were really great. If I have the opportunity, I would like to participate in a different course in the future. For those who will be participating, I recommend being prepared for more walking than you might imagine, as there are many ups and downs, and since the lingering heat can be intense, make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes.

思った以上に歩くのと、当日の気温が30度越えでとても疲れましたが、マリアさんの明るく、楽しい説明と優しい感じがとても良かったです。
機会があれば、今後は違うコースに参加したいと思います。
これから参加される方は、想像以上に歩くのと、上り下りの道が多く、残暑厳しいので水分補給と歩き慣れた靴で参加されるのを、お勧めします。

I booked a Kyoto tour at my daughter's request. We opted for a meal at Kiyomizu-dera, but the portion was larger than I expected, so I think it's better to skip the meal if you want to try various foods. Both the tour guide and the driver were really nice, and we had a wonderful day! Thank you very much.

Honestly, I was filled with anxiety and impatience until we boarded the ship!
◎ Situation on the day
Our reserved boat ride was scheduled to depart at 11:00 with check-in at 10:45.
The shuttle bus from Torokko Kameoka Station left around 10:40.
The reservation information stated that the shuttle bus takes about 15 minutes, and that they would accept passengers even after the check-in time until the boat departs.
The bus was full, and we arrived at the boarding area around 10:50.
Since we were seated at the back of the bus, many people in front were unfamiliar with the payment process, causing delays, and as time passed, I became quite anxious as 11:00 approached.
When we reached the check-in counter, there was a long line (approximately 80 people).
There were separate lines for same-day tickets and reservations, so we naturally lined up in the reservation line (the same number of people were in line).
At this point, we had to fill out a card, wondering what the purpose of the reservation was as we waited.
It was well past 11:00, and the staff kept repeating, "We will call you in order," as numbers were called in the order of check-in, but what I wanted to know was whether everything would be alright since we were already past the check-in time.
Even though we had a reservation, we ended up on the last boat, which departed around 11:40.
Does that mean that many of the people in the same-day ticket line boarded earlier than us?
What is the point of making a reservation?
In the rain, we ended up on the last boat scheduled for 11:00 (departing at 11:40), but the boat ride was enjoyable thanks to the humorous guides.
◎ What I thought about it
If the connection with the Torokko was smooth, there would be no need to feel rushed (and it wouldn't be too long).
As first-time passengers, it would be helpful to have clear and polite guidance on the procedures for boarding, what to expect, and how long it would take to board in the crowded waiting area.
Creating an environment where passengers can wait comfortably until boarding, with clear displays of boarding order numbers, would be beneficial.
Shouldn't reservation customers have priority boarding?
I understand that they are in a difficult situation due to the harsh changes after COVID-19 and the circumstances surrounding the boat ride, but I hope they can continue this traditional boat ride safely.
I wish for their prosperity during the autumn foliage season.

私たちの予約した船下りは11:00発チェックイン10:45のもの
トロッコ亀岡駅着し連絡バスが発したのは10:40ころ
予約時の案内には連悪バス所要時間約15分で、チェックイン時間を過ぎても船発までは受け付けるとの記載があった
バスは満員で乗船場に着いたのが10:50ころ
バスの後ろに乗ってしまったため前から降りる人の支払いが不慣れな人も多くもたつき、ドンドン時間が過ぎ11:00が迫りかなり焦った
チェックインカウンター着くと長蛇の列（目算80人ほど）でごった返し
当日券と予約の列があり当然予約の列に並ぶ（同数の人が並んでいた）
ここでまた記載するカードがあり何のための予約かと思いながら記載して待つ
時間はとっくに11:00を過ぎ「順番に案内します」をスタッフが繰り返し、順番に先の受付順に番号が呼ばれて乗船していくが、ここで知りたかったのはチェックイン時間をドンドン過ぎているのに大丈夫なのかということ
私たちは予約していたのに最後の船11:40ころ発になった
とうことは、あの当日券の列に居た多くの人の方が早く乗ったとうこと？
予約って何？と思った
雨の中、11:00発予定の最後の船（11:40発）となったが、船下りは、ユーモアある船頭達の案内で楽しく過ごせた
◎　そこでどう思ったか
トロッコとの連絡連携がスムースなら焦ることもない（また長過ぎず）
乗客はまず初めてである　ごった返す乗船待合での「乗船までどういう手順なのか」「自分たちはどうなるのか」「どのくらいで乗れるのか」などの分かりやすく丁寧な案内や掲示、乗船順番号の掲示版などで乗船まで安心して待てる環境づくり
予約客から優先乗船ではないのかなぁ？
コロナ後の厳しい環境変化や船下りを取り巻く情勢などで苦境にあると思うが、伝統あるこの船下りを安全に続けていってほしい
紅葉季の繁盛を祈る

まず最初に、ツアーガイドを見つけることができたのは出発の10分前で、遅いと思います。次に、バスの中で強い匂いの食べ物を食べないように、ツアーグループ全体に警告してください！匂いに敏感な人もいます。

ツアー自体はまあまあでした。同じ目的地に戻る場合は、別のツアー会社を探すと思います。

First off, I couldn't locate the tour guide until 10min prior which I think is late. Second, please warn the entire tour group not to consume strong odor food in the bus! Some people are sensitive to smell.

The tour itself was meh. If I go back to the same destination I'd look for a different tour agency.

The guide was friendly and had a good understanding of the local area since they were from there, which made it enjoyable to express my preferences. Their English was clear and easy to understand! It was a shame it rained, but I was happy to see the World Heritage site!

ガイドの方がフレンドリー、地元出身地で良く地域のことを理解されて自分の好みもきちんと言って楽しかったです。英語も分かりやすく良かった！ただ、雨 降ったのが残念でしたが、世界遺産見れて嬉しかった❗

I had heard that Kyoto in the middle of summer is incredibly hot, so I signed up for a bus tour that took us to Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizu-dera, and Kinkaku-ji. My friend was cramping up and couldn't walk, so we decided to skip Arashiyama and got off the bus to return to the hotel. Considering the wait at the bus stop, I think joining the bus tour was the right choice.

真夏の京都は、暑さが半端ないと聞いていたので、バスツアーに申し込み伏見稲荷大社、清水寺、金閣寺を巡りました。
友達が脚が攣り歩けそうになかったので、嵐山は断念し途中下車しホテルへ帰りました。
バス停で待つ事を考えるとあの暑さは、バスツアーに参加して正解だと思います。

I was taken only to the places I wanted to go, and I enjoyed my time there with my own free activities✨ It was the best tour!
